Vă rog. Revistele Mami, Superbebe, Mămica de azi, Familia ta, Ioana Visul copiilor (şi, în fine, Coolgirl în unele cazuri): atenţie la mine. “Mamelor din lumea-ntreagă, eu vă dau un singur sfat”. Unde căutăm îndrumare pentru creşterea copiilor? Unde?

E simplu. Luăm frumos o carte în care Bryan Garsten vorbeşte despre locul persuasiunii în politică, Saving Persuasion. Apoi luăm frumos capitolul I, “Against Rhetoric“. De aici, luăm subcapitolul “Persuading without Convincing: Rousseau“, care este despre – v-aţi prins? – Rousseau. Apoi frumos subsubcapitolul “The Rhetoric of Prophetic Nationalism“. în care tipul Bryan îl citează pe tipul Rousseau care tip Rousseau vorbeşte despre educarea copiilor. Era evident.

Şi-apoi, ca să nu pară de nicăerea, iacătă-l pe Rousseau adâncit în probleme mămeşti:

Aşadar, lămuritu-ne-am? “Bătaia e ruptă din rai” capătă acum un cu totul alt sens, căci atunci când îţi îmbraci autoritatea drept voinţă a naturii (sau voinţă divină, oricum răsărită din “the very order of things“), copilaşul tău va avea, învineţit şi posac, senzaţia unei libertăţi morale extraordinare.

Cât despre titlu, întotdeauna mi-am dorit să folosesc acel substantiv.

M-am împiedicat zilele astea de un site unde se toarnă în fiecare zi o găleată de frustrări de prin toate ungherele. Aici a fost inventat jocul ” Cine e mai lamă şi mai lamă?” şi în fiecare zi apare alt căştigător. Aparent, site-ul e updatat zilnic şi musteşte de penibil. Partea mai ciudăţică este ca am stat lipită de el timp de o oră după ce l-am ginit, pentru ca apoi să mă acopăr eu pe mine, -mă, -m, cu soi de jenă vinovată. Exerciţiul este cel puţin un stâlpişor în construcţia propriului Ego.

Fiecare utilizator povesteşte în cîteva rânduri o experienţă penibilă, care trimite la însuşi numele site-ului, www.fmylife.com.

Cauţi aşa, nişte filmuletse to change your perspective? Nu ţi le promit. But I do have something for you.

Introducing American Splendor. Filmul ăsta îmi pare mai artsy, am fost, tehnic vorbind, obligată să-l văd, dar are ceva replici faine, cu sweet and sad life and so on….şi voi sigur îl înţelegeţi mai bine decât mine.

Berlin Calling. Pff. The “Sky and Sand” is such a classic. Sau poate nu pentru toată lumea, dar ’tis a movie care o să fie gustat de fanii GQ (nu trebuie să fii superficial să-ţi placă, dar nici nu strică). Are şi site filmul, că aşa e-n jazz.

So, sit back, alegeţi între Boy is Friction sau Paul şi roll!
