Just a short note to let you know that Rachel will be attending the Butterfly Ball in London on May 14th. This is a charity event in aid of a little girl called Tilly Griffiths from Staffordshire who has raised  thousands of pounds for sick and disabled children accross Britain.  Rod Stewart is putting on a special performance this year at Battersea Evolution and Rachel is looking forward to showing her support after meeting Tilly personally.

Rachel will be working with Gliss to promote its hair care range, which includes shampoos, conditioner and styling products.

As most of you will know, I’m a real foodie. So, this month I thought I’d share a lovely restaurant that I’ve found, with you!

Dehesa is a lovely tapas restaurant in central London which is great for a fun night out with your girlfriends or for a romantic night out with your man. It’s reasonably priced, serves delicious fresh food and great cocktails. Try the Raspberry Martini - it’s worth it! It has a really buzzy atmosphere with great music and you can people watch at the bar or sit in the back corner for a more romantic rendezvous. I hope you like it!

I recently bought a new product called Dead Sea Spa Magik Salt Brushing Scrub - a bit of a mouthful to say, but it’s great for getting your skin ready for Spring/Summer and the sunshine. It makes your skin feel so soft after you use it, you literally glow! - and it smells really fresh too.

Guerlain have a great range of self tanning products called Sunless Self Tanning. I think they’re really easy to apply and make your tan look very natural. You get a lovely colour without the sun which is perfect at this time of year when you want to show a bit more skin but are still feeling a little bit pale from Winter!

Rachel is joining GMTV fashion expert, Mark Hughes and Editor of Glamour Magazine, Jo Elvin to form the judging panel for this year’s GMTV High Street Fashion Awards.

Her first appearance on GMTV was today and she’ll be on the show this and next week looking at, and commenting on, the nominations for the various sections. Next week, along with the team, she will be announcing the winners!

Hi Everyone

Congratulations to Rachel who, last night, was awarded the Sexiest Female award at the Digital Spy Reality TV Awards ceremony in London!! Unfortunately she couldn’t be there to collect her award in person so Vincent stepped in to accept it on her behalf.

Here is what she had to say;
I’m so sorry I can’t be there tonight to accept my award but luckily the handsome devil that is Vincent Simone, is there to accept it on my behalf - no taking it home and saying it’s yours Vincent!!

I had the most amazing time on Strictly and feel very lucky to have been part of the show. I’d like to say a big thank you to Vince for teaching me so well and for being so patient with me and an even bigger thank you to everyone who has voted for me to win this award. I’m very flattered to be voted “Sexiest Female”, especially this
week as I turn 31!  I will wake on Thursday and ignore any new wrinkles that appear! Thank you so much for your support and have a lovely evening.
