    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;I dislike the new Bank Feeds feature. We should have the option to use the old Online Banking feature from 2013 or the new Bank Feeds feature. The old register banking option is equally horrendous. When you enter Meals and Entertainment into QuickBooks, you don&amp;#39;t always create a vendor for a one time meal. Instead we put the name in the memo. You need to have this option available to you on the same screen. I have one client that we enter hundreds of transactions every month through online banking and they all require a memo for him. It is going to add at least two extra hours of work to select &amp;quot;Add more details&amp;quot; and wait for that window to open just to enter a simple memo. I can&amp;#39;t tell clients to go to 2014 because then I would have to charge them more for monthly bookkeeping. SBS 2011 is a product based on Server 2008 R2.  Thusly it&amp;#39;s a supported product.  SBS 2011 is not Home Server.

The error message indicates that Microsoft has stopped releasing security updates for Server 2011.  NO they have not.  SBS 2011 is on Windows server 2008R2 and it is STILL getting security updates.  It is supported.

Please fix the installer bug so that it allows us to install the database manager on the OS.

Note this works as a workaround:
Manually install  manually installed .net 4.6.2  .  Now install the QB running as compat wizard.  Pick XP sp2 (don&amp;#39;t ask just try it). Incorrect email setting
Damaged MAPI32.dll file
QuickBooks running as administrator
Damaged QuickBooks installation
Damaged Outlook installation
Outlook open in the background when sending email through QuickBooks
The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all of them. Perform the solutions in the order shown.
Perform several recommended solutions if, when emailing a transaction or report in QuickBooks Desktop, you encounter the error

QuickBooks is unable to send your email to Outlook. Close any open Outlook windows and try again.

Solution 1: Ensure that QuickBooks is not running as administrator
Right-click QuickBooks icon and select Properties.
Select the Compatibility Tab.
Deselect Run this program as Administrator.
Note: If Run this program as Administrator is grayed out, then first select the &amp;quot;Show Settings for All Users&amp;quot;.
Click Okay.
Exit and restart QuickBooks.
Solution 2: Ensure that your email preference is set correctly in QuickBooks
Note: If you use Microsoft Outlook with Microsoft Exchange Server, open Outlook and log in before checking the QuickBooks preference.
Choose Edit &amp;gt; Preferences &amp;gt; Send Forms.
Click My Preferences tab, set Send e-mail using to the option that you want to use and click OK.
If the preference is set correctly, to toggle it:
Choose Edit &amp;gt; Preferences &amp;gt; Send Forms.
Click My Preferences tab, select QuickBooks E-mail, and then click OK.
Choose Edit &amp;gt; Preferences.
Select Outlook and click OK.
Close QuickBooks and all other programs.
Restart Windows.
Restart QuickBooks.
Email the report or transaction.
Solution 3: Ensure that your email preference is set correctly in Internet Explorer
Close QuickBooks.
Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools &amp;gt; Internet Options.
Click the Programs tab.
In the Programs tab, make sure the correct email program is selected as the default email program. For example, if you are trying to send email using Outlook, be sure Outlook is selected. If you are trying to send email using Outlook Express, be sure Outlook Express is chosen. Select the correct option, then click Apply and OK.
Close Internet Explorer.
Open QuickBooks.
Email the report or transaction.
Solution 4: Test and repair your MAPI32.dll
IMPORTANT: These steps are highly technical in nature and may be best performed by a qualified IT professional.
Use Word to test MAPI32.dll functionality
Restart your computer to close and reopen Windows.
Open a blank document in Microsoft Word.
Choose File &amp;gt; Send &amp;gt; Email as PDF Attachment.
If the email opens with no errors, contact QuickBooks Technical Support (US or Canada) for assistance.
If the error occurs when attaching the document, contact Microsoft Help and Support to resolve possible issues with Outlook or Office Suite and the MAPI settings.
Once the issue is resolved and email works from Microsoft Word, email the report or transaction from QuickBooks.
Note: If you can email from Microsoft Word but you can&amp;#39;t email from QuickBooks, contact QuickBooks Technical Support for assistance.
Repair MAPI32.dll
Close all open programs.
Click Windows Start and select Computer.
Go to C:\Windows\System32.
Double-click Fixmapi.exe and follow any onscreen instructions.
After Fixmapi.exe finishes running, restart your computer.
Rename MAPI32.dll
Perform this if repairing MAPI32.dll does not fix the problem.

Close all open programs.
Using File Explorer, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033.
Right-click MAPI32.dll, then rename it to MAPI32.dll.OLD.
Restart your computer.
Run Fixmapi.exe again.
After Fixmapi.exe finishes running, restart your computer.
Solution 5: Reinstall QuickBooks
See Reinstall using a clean install for details.
Solution 6: Repair Outlook

There are times I open up the time sheet and start entering time sheets, then I realize that I am two weeks a head of where I need to be entering them.  So I have to go and re-enter them on the correct weeks. &lt;br /&gt;Click the PREVIOUS button. Then manually change the DATE accordingly and select SAVE &amp;amp; NEW.  I personally found it easier to hit ALT S.   I could keep the ALT key depressed and selected S when needed.

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Add a formal RFQ option inside Purchase Orders.   Allow us to make an RFQ  basicly a PO showing item by item but with no printed price, just a dead line for the vendor to get back to us with their quote.

1) RFQ option, fill it out like a PO
2) Use RFQ - ##### to track it like a PO but with RFQ identifying it as such.
3) Feld for due date
4) Ability to check multiple vendors at once then QB sends the RFQ to all on list via e-mail.  (we normally are sending to 3-4 vendors)

We use customer:jobs to further categorize our internal expenses and these are not billable to our customers.     <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Add a formal RFQ option inside Purchase Orders.   Allow us to make an RFQ  basicly a PO showing item by item but with no printed price, just a dead line for the vendor to get back to us with their quote.

1) RFQ option, fill it out like a PO
2) Use RFQ - ##### to track it like a PO but with RFQ identifying it as such.
3) Feld for due date
4) Ability to check multiple vendors at once then QB sends the RFQ to all on list via e-mail.  (we normally are sending to 3-4 vendors)

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;I dislike the new Bank Feeds feature. We should have the option to use the old Online Banking feature from 2013 or the new Bank Feeds feature. The old register banking option is equally horrendous. When you enter Meals and Entertainment into QuickBooks, you don&amp;#39;t always create a vendor for a one time meal. Instead we put the name in the memo. You need to have this option available to you on the same screen. I have one client that we enter hundreds of transactions every month through online banking and they all require a memo for him. It is going to add at least two extra hours of work to select &amp;quot;Add more details&amp;quot; and wait for that window to open just to enter a simple memo. I can&amp;#39;t tell clients to go to 2014 because then I would have to charge them more for monthly bookkeeping.     <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;When discounts are applied as a single line item we can not track the profitability of the ITEMS the discount was applied too.   We need to show the customer the full price, sale price and total item by item.  This way QB can track the actual out the door price of the item, and thus the real profitability.   This also makes returns and partial shipments easier as well since the totals are item by item for how a discount or sale is recorded.

Or I had to void or delete an invoice. If I take a line item off an invoice or void/delete an invoice, I would like the billable item (expense/time) to revert back to being billable so I can add it to another invoice. Or, better yet, give us the option to make it billable again. It&amp;#39;s so annoying to have to go back and find each item and mark each one of them billable again. As of now, that client is entirely removed and can be no longer searched on.  All invoices sent to that client not longer contain that client name!!?     <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;When discounts are applied as a single line item we can not track the profitability of the ITEMS the discount was applied too.   We need to show the customer the full price, sale price and total item by item.  This way QB can track the actual out the door price of the item, and thus the real profitability.   This also makes returns and partial shipments easier as well since the totals are item by item for how a discount or sale is recorded.

It seems that currently the choices are: 1) enter the actual date of the end of employment (correct for HMRC reporting) but then run an &amp;#39;unscheduled payroll&amp;#39; for their final pay with an incorrect payment date (incorrect for HMRC reporting) or 2) include them in the scheduled pay run when you actually do pay them (correct payment date reported to HMRC) but enter an incorrect &amp;#39;leaving date&amp;#39; which is then reported to HMRC.  Surely we can&amp;#39;t be the only company that pays their employees their final pay at the end of the month in which they left?&lt;/p&gt;</content>

I have three companies and only one takes credit card payments. It is a real TIME WASTER to have to remember three different complex PW's and then have to change them every 90 days.
