The following is a Give Away that I chose to do in conjunction with Verizon and Kyle Communications. I received 4 VIP NFL Experience Tickets and 4 more to give to one lucky Money Saving Lord or Lady. This post was not edited or reviewed by Verizon or anyone else as you can tell by my grammar and crazy random thoughts. Near the Queendom a royal fete is about to take place. And let's just say in and around Indianapolis, it's been SUPER crazy. And I was super excited for you when Kyle Communications {what up Lady Kyle and Sir James?} and Verizon Wireless {hiya Lady Michelle} asked me if I'd like to have some special VIP Tickets to the NFL Experience going on all this week in downtown Indianapolis. And I was super duper excited when they said I could have 4 more to give away to you. We're talking about a give away worth $100, folks. And that's always a good thing.

I do have a big stipulation for this give away so please, please, please do no enter without taking this into consideration:

You have to be willing to meet me somewhere on the South Side of Indianapolis to pick the tickets up. We'll work on a time and place that works for both of us but please don't expect me to appear at your door with them or at your beckon call.

The tickets can be used at any time to get into the NFL Experience {which is what makes them VIP}. Not quite sure what the NFL Experience is? Here's the description from the official Indianapolis Super Bowl Website:

Produced by the National Football League, the NFL Experience is a pro football interactive theme park that offers participatory games, displays, entertainment attractions, kids' football clinics, free autograph sessions and the largest football memorabilia show ever.The NFL Experience will take-over the Indiana Convention Center's 500,000 square-foot space starting January, 2012.

It opened on this past Friday and will run through Super Bowl Saturday, February 4th.

Here's what you need to do to enter this 24 Hour Contest!

Sunday Coupon Preview

One of the most helpful tips that I learned early on in using coupons was to check and find out what coupons will be in the paper before I actually buy one. It helps me to choose how many papers to buy and when to be intentional in not buying as many.

You can also quickly scan to make sure that your paper contains the correct amount of inserts in your paper before purchase. At times, inserts can be mistakenly left out of a paper or even stolen, so you want to be certain yours are fully in tact.

The Sunday Coupon Preview tells you exactly which coupons will be in most papers {seriously, like every single coupon}. This weekend, there will be 1 Smart Source, 1 P&G, and possibly 2 Red Plum Circulars depending on your local paper.

Keep in mind that very few papers in the country that still carry the Red Plum circular. You can find out whether or not papers in your area carry it here. If you don't receive the Red Plum at home, you can sign up to have it delivered to your home here. Locally, the Daily Journal does still carry the Red Plum.

I usually purchase my Weekend Edition of the Indy Star at the Dollar Tree to save a few more pennies by getting it for only $1. And best of all, you can purchase it on Saturday to let the savings begin early!

Ok, admit it, how may of you simply clicked over here to see if indeed there was another little prince or princess on its way to join the Royal Family? How many of you are frustrated family members or friends who thought, "Um Cherie, a phone call would be nice?!"

Before this post rambles any further, I am NOT pregnant but I've been feeling pregnant {about 9 months pregnant to be precise} lately. Let me explain.

You see we are SO close to the end of our debt slaying journey. The debt dragon is staggering for its breath in our backyard. And yet, it won't give up the ghost. It still has some life in it. We've paid off $119,901.04 since April 2008 {can someone just give us $89.96 already?} and we have ~ 3 months left of debt slaying to do barring any tragedy or catastrophe. We owe about 6% of our total debt now. Seriously, the. end. is. in. sight. {BOOM}. It's a day that I thought would never come AND it is SO close at hand.

But let's just say I'm a little anxious. Ok, things are a whole new level of crazy around here. We're at Frugal-Con 5, people. And it seems like it was much easier owing $25K than the remainder {which well under $10K} we have right now. I was sharing this angst with my dear friend Lady Tricia on the phone the other day {you really should have friends you can share your journey with, Lords and Ladies} and she quickly remarked, "Oh Cherie {she doesn't call me the Queen, just Cherie}, it's just like the last month of pregnancy."

Yep, it is like the last month of pregnancy. I feel uncomfortable, Money Saving Lords and Ladies. I'm anxious for the day of delivery to arrive. I want so badly to hold in my hands something that has been growing inside of me for literally years {so maybe it's an elephant pregnancy}. I find it hard to breathe. Sometimes I can't sleep at night. And I'm busying myself with preparations for the day of little Freedom's arrival. Plus I pee a lot {maybe that one doesn't have anything to do with paying off our debt}.

I have been furiously filling out our family calendars and my personal calendar lately. At the top of each month is marked "3 More Months!" or "2 More Months!" and breathtakingly "1 More Month!" And in bold letters, always the phrase "NO EXTRAS!" You see from where I'm standing, no extra is worth being free a day too soon. No extra is going to delay delivery of this baby. No extra is worth the pay off. And as each day passes on the calendar, I'm figuratively marking them off in my head, with longing expectation. Counting down to an unsure day of expectancy in the very near future.

But in the meantime, I'll be the one nesting and maybe learning how to knit or something.

Heads up if you have a four legged friend in your household. Right now, you can print a rebate form good for up to $12.99 on Hills Science Diet Dry Pet Food. You will need to have purchased the food between 07/01/11 and 03/31/12. Like most rebates, you will be required to submit the UPC, the original receipt, and the completed rebate form.

If you think you'll use this rebate at all, it's a good idea to print it now, rather than wait. Sometimes the companies will take the form down after a limited number of print outs or before the closing date. As always, be sure you actually take the time to submit a rebate form. I don't do a ton with rebates but have received a few checks lately and use them to supplement our budget or to bless others.

Ok so I'm getting a little up close and personal/TMI here but . . . seriously, I don't think anyone should ever have to pay for pantyliners. Whew, I'm glad we got that out there in the open. It's been weighing me down forever.

There are constantly $1/1 coupons or $0.50/1 coupons {that will double at places like Meijer or Kroger} that make most small packages of pantyliners free. Sorry Money Saving Lords, but the Ladies simply need to know this.
