So my friend told me to buy an Xbox 360 that is refurbish from Best Buy because Best Buy sends there Xbox 360 that has the Red Ring of Death to Microsoft and fixes them and send it back to Best Buy all fixed with no Red Ring of Death. So in actuality buying a refurbish Xbox 360 from Best Buy is actually the best thing to do. So has anyone actually try this and actually worked fine?

Every time I go to play Online Team Play I'm the stupid *** Lexi Peters. I have a Pro and I load it, then it takes me to that Be a Pro season. But when I exit offline play and try to play Team Play on live I'm the ***** *** Lexi Peters. Help me out please.

Offline BAP (Be A Pro) and online BAP are completely separate. None of your player's attributes will carry over to your online player. To create your online pro, go to "Be A Pro Mode", then "Edit Pro" and choose whatever position you'll be playing and create the person you want. Then, go back to the first main menu and go to Xbox Live > Community > Lobby > Under "Game Modes" pick whichever "Online Team Play" lobby you want. These lobbies will use your BAP instead of the NHL team players.
* NOTE* From the Xbox Live menu, do NOT go straight to "Online Team Play", as this will use NHL players instead of your own. Hope this helps.

I just recently (yesterday) got three red rings of death on my original Xbox 360 during an intense bit of Skyrim. I looked up things online about the amount of rings and their meanings. It has been sent in before for another rrod issue but that was resolved over two years ago. I tried unplugging all the power supply cords and letting them sit for awhile but that was no good. I tried three different outlets, still no good. What do I do? I don't want to send it in and wait…I mean…I have some gaming to do! If it means anything the light on the brick on the power supply thingy was orange/yellow.

this can happen's When the console doesn't get adequate power or your xbox has over heated.

1.) Restart The Console
Yes, this seems a bit silly but depending on where you live and the time of year, electrical brown outs can happen especially in hot weather when everyone has their air conditioner running. A momentary dip in electrical power can trigger the ring of death.
2.) Reconnect All Cables And Power Cords
You may have a loose cable or cord. Any cables and power cords that can be removed should be disconnected. Unplug the power cable from the wall plug. Firmly reattach all cables and cords back into the console. Now connect up the power and turn on the console.

If you notice any damaged cables or cords, replace them.
3.) Reconnect The Hard Drive
Turn off the console, unplug the power and then disconnect the hard drive. Now plug back into the power and turn the console back on. If the console does not show the three red lights error, turn it off and disconnect the power cord from the wall. Finally, reconnect the hard drive, plug in the power, and turn on the console.
4.) Bypass All Electrical Impediments
If you are using a surge protector, plug strip, or extension cord, remove them and plug the power brick directly into the wall. Surge protectors can be defective and long extension cords will reduce the power available to your power hungry Xbox.
5.) Use A Wall Outlet In A Different Room
Your wall outlet may not have adequate power. You can rule out this possibility by trying your Xbox on a different wall outlet that's on a different circuit. This usually means in a different room (but not always).
6.) Resolve Any Power Brick Issues
The power brick may be overheating. When this happens, it doesn't supply the required power to your Xbox which triggers the ring of death. It won't run cool unless it gets adequate ventilation. Keep it off of shag carpeting. Don't place it on your bed covers or sheets.

Another possibility is that the power brick is defective. If you have a spare or can borrow one from a friend, try it out.

well i am selling my xbox 360 Elite console that i have slightly used…

well first of the console itself has some kinks (nothing major), like the disc tray will rarely get stuck and have to be wiggled to be opened, also the power brick will occasionally buzz.. but can be fixed by tapping it. those are the only problems with it. also i am selling it with a lot of accessories which include:

-around 11 games (game titles will be listed)
-wireless adaptor
-2 wireless controllers
-around 9 months of xbox live gold
-all cables that originally came with the console
-and the 120 gb hard drive
