The entry needed to communicate: This is how I “Frame My Future.” Submissions were accepted from October 18, 2011, through March 6, 2012. Over 10,500 entries were received, including photographs, poems, essays, collages, artwork, graphic design, and other imaginative pieces.

The unbelievable amount of individual, creative, and quality entries made the selection process very difficult. The 24 Finalists represent only .23% of the total entries. After a panel of judges at Church Hill Classics narrowed down entries, all employees participated in a company-wide voting process which yielded 24 Finalists and 36 Honorable Mentions.

The 24 Finalist entries are posted on the company’s diplomaframe.com website. The final phase of the contest involves the public voting on their favorite entry to determine the scholarship winners. Voting runs from April 4 - May 3, 2012 (11:59pm Eastern Time). A $1,000 award will go to each of the five top-voted entries, and the entry receiving the most votes will also earn a matching donation of $1,000 to their college or university’s scholarship endowment fund in their name.

According to an article by Bob Stanton posted on the Inc.500/5000 site on August 23, 2011, “The 2011 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2010. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.)”

Mr. Stanton’s article added that, “The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million. Revenue figures given in the company profiles are for calendar years…”

Michelle Partogi of Duluth, Georgia, submitted a photo of a special shoe, symbolizing her future “journey” and the dualities with her goals.
Nicholas Normile of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, submitted a photograph of himself in his future career as chef. He feels he was lucky to get the chance to apprentice at a 4-star restaurant at the age of 13. But it hasn’t been luck that has kept him there. He’s learned from the best and his ambition is to become one of them. He intends to work hard when he gets to business school. “I don’t plan to rely on luck alone.” He is planning to attend the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Onur Olmez of Grass Valley, California, submitted a multi-media collage of himself in a paper boat full of hopeful life experiences for his future. As a child, he used to make paper boats with his grandmother, wishing the newspapers could be large enough to make a boat big enough for him. Onur wants to study marine transportation and plans to embark on a career in the marine industry. He is planning to attend San Jose State University in San Jose, California for the 2011-2012 academic year. Onur currently attends Bear River High School in Grass Valley, California.

The top five Winners’ entries are featured along with the 19 Finalists’ entries on the company’s diplomaframe.com website.

Establishing this nationwide scholarship contest has enabled the company to give back to students interested in pursuing their dreams of a college education. The “Frame My Future” Scholarship Contest 2011 asked students to submit an original “creation” through an image which expressed what they hope to achieve in their personal and professional life after college. Entries included photographs, poems, essays, collages, drawings, paintings, and other imaginative pieces. The entry needed to communicate: This is how I “Frame My Future.” Submissions were accepted from October 7, 2010, through March 2, 2011.

The contest received an amazing response with over 9,500 entries. Entries, coming in from every state in the U.S., were sent in by students who will be attending college in the 2011-2012 academic year. The unbelievable amount of individual, creative, and quality entries made the selection process very difficult. CHC employees made the Finalist selection in a company-wide voting process, which yielded 24 Finalists and 30 Honorable Mentions. The finalists were placed online for public vote from April 5th - May 5th. The public’s votes decided the five $1,000 Scholarship Winners, including the one Grand Prize Winner.

This was the third annual “Frame My Future” Scholarship Contest, and Church Hill Classics is planning to launch its fourth scholarship contest in the fall of 2011.

With the introduction of Winning Colors, college name and seal embossings on diploma frame matting has taken on a whole new turn at Church Hill Classics (CHC). The company, which operates online as diplomaframe.com, has given school spirit a novel twist with embossing colors of orange, green, yellow, red, navy, or black, on matting combinations that best suits ones’ school.

Silver and gold foil embossings are fundamental shades with that classic appeal, but the rich and vivid Winning Colors embossing from Church Hill Classics are definitely revving up the wow factor, especially for dedicated grads and alumni.

Winning Colors embossing options are matched with compatible matting colors so that Princeton University, for instance, has a black outer mat paired with a bright orange inner mat and orange embossing to complement the school colors of orange and black. For Michigan State University, green and white are the school colors, so green embossing is the perfect choice placed on a black mat. The whole line of Winning Colors is framed in Eclipse – a solid hardwood frame moulding with black satin finish and a high gloss inner lip.

Church Hill Classics, a leading manufacturer and online retailer in the college and university diploma frame industry, launched their “Frame My Future” Scholarship Contest 2011 on October 7, 2010. For the third year in a row, the company is giving back to students interested in pursuing their dreams of a college education by presenting $6,000 in scholarship awards.

The “Frame My Future” Scholarship Contest 2011 is open to legal US residents attending a U.S. college or university full-time for the 2011-2012 academic year. Students can win one of five $1,000 scholarships, and one of these winners will also receive a $1,000 donation to their university/college’s scholarship endowment fund.

To enter, the main requirement is creativity, and to communicate: This is how I “Frame My Future.” Entries must be an original “creation” within one digital image that expresses what they hope to achieve in their personal and professional life after college. The entries can be a photograph, collage, poem, drawing, painting, graphic design piece, short typed explanation, or any original creation submitted as an online image.

Church Hill Classics will select 24 Finalists and post them on their diplomaframe.com website for public voting from April 5 – May 5, 2011. The top five most popular entries determine the five Scholarship Winners who each receive a $1,000 scholarship. The top-voted, Grand Prize Winner, also earns the bonus donation for their 2011-2012 attended school. All 24 Finalists receive a special custom made Frame My Future frame featuring their entry.

Previous years’ scholarship winners were students attending Blinn College, Cornell University, Flagler College, Mercer University, Olivet Nazarene University, Saginaw Valley State University, Saint Norbert College, Tallahassee Community College, Villanova University, and Wellesley College.
