The new innovation is uom dissertation fee which turn out to be

[1] Rs 3000 for undergraduate programmes and

[2] Rs 6000 for postgraduate programmes.

In the past there was no such regulation.

Why such a need for money?

What the hell is student union doing? [Organizing crappy parties whole year long]

Do final year students really have a choice of not abiding to this law?

Anyway apart a blog post and some comments on net against the dissertation fee nothing else can be done. Most of students already paid for UOM dissertation fee.

What about legalization of prostitution in Mauritius?

Please let us forget the shield of moral values and our so called “conservative” society. Forget the arguments of feminists because prostitution include both men and women.

Making prostitution legal will

• Allow the act to be managed instead of ignored.
• Give a normal life to “prostitutes” and they will no more work in underground.
• Give rise to a reduction in organized crimes and reduction in the number of pimps.
• Prostitutes will be in a position to get protection of law in cases like rape.

It will stupid to believe that prostitution will be eradicated so why not legalize it.

• The right of the individual to life, liberty, security of the person and the protection of law.
• Freedom of conscience, of expression, of assembly and association…
• the right of the individual to protection for the privacy of his home …

Very well illustrated but not really clear concerning the line which put a difference between the freedom of one person to another.

Recently, we saw that a particular group of people under the banner of Kranti  against the assembly of missionary movements.

Mauritius do possess a number of fundamental rights and freedoms as illustrated above.

To what extent are the fundamentals rights and freedoms respected and tolerated?

Some radio station do not have any  “palab”.  Let them make an issue of the story and the best part is that maybe they think Mauritians are stupid to listen and believe to all crap related to the said issue.

I am not going to make a summary of the stupidity going on. Just wanted to point out something;

“An adolescent of 16 years called Cehl Meeah and maintained she has suicidal tendencies. Cehl Meeah booked a hotel room for the kid.

In such a situation Why not call the police or child protection unit?”

When you realize that it is over, tears will automatically stop flowing and here comes the horrible aftermath break up symptoms.

1- You will suffer from emptiness. This is horrible to feel an empty space in your heart. Then you will ask yourself this question:-

Wasn’t it dependency over each other?

The feeling of loneliness is painful. Instead of shutting down your system, it is better to stay surrounded with friends. It will act as an alter shock from emptiness.

2- You will experience the reminder syndrome. You may start to see the person in everything, the person habit and etc. Time to get some network support and stay connected to real life.

3- Negative thoughts. You will keep thinking about why and how it happened. Trying to find an answer. The worst will come with nightmares which once upon a time were beautiful dreams. In such a case just convince yourself that  everything happened for the best.

4- Loss of a possible soul mate. Who believe in soul mate stories? Use this question to pacify yourself.

To end it is just a question of time. Little by little the aftermath syndromes will vanish in thin air, just like the once upon a time love and break up. Do not forget to stay connected with the world.

The use of social network to test the pulse of the population is indeed a good strategy for campaigns.

To what extent are social networks for general election reliable and safe? What happen when extremists start to make use of social networks to spread communal messages?

For your information there is a racist message circulating of Facebook (among children, teenagers and  adults). These are dangerous messages which aims at dividing the Mauritian population. Do not forget that at the end of the day we are all Mauritians.
