Desi Di Nardo is a poet and author in Toronto whose work has been published in numerous North American and international journals and anthologies including the Literary Review of Canada, Globe and Mail, National Post, and Descant. Her poetry has been performed at the National Arts Centre, featured in Poetry on the Way on the Toronto Transit Commission, and displayed in the Official Residences of Canada. Desi's poems have also been studied in schools across the country, translated into several languages, and printed on Starbucks cups. LIMITATIONS: Poetry only.

WAITING PERIOD: You will receive a reply when your submission heads to the front of the queue. Until then, it has not been listened to and is awaiting its turn.

HOW: Record yourself reading in .mp3 format, with no additional commentary. Limit: Fifteen minutes and as many poems as you wish to fit into that time period. Send your .mp3 as an attachment after abiding by the following:

ALTERNATIVE SUBMISSION METHOD: If necessary, you may also send files using YouSendIt. I will still need a bio sent to the address above. Please do NOT send online links to your work. I have limited time and want to use it to better this project.

RECORDING TIPS: It's easy to record yourself, but I cannot provide individual recording advice. If you need recording software, I suggest the free Audacity, available for Windows, Vista, Mac, and just about everything else. The only other thing you need is a mic plugged into your computer. Here are some tips regarding using Audacity.

LISTENING TO THE SHOW: Left-click the "direct download" link and the audio will open in your default player, or right-click the "direct download" link and "save link as" to your desktop. You should then be able to double click on the file, like any .mp3.
