CrazyTalk is a face puppet animation studio. Students can create 3D talking characters from a single photo or illustration. A student can do a presentation about a Vicious Knid... as a Vicious Knid. The educational possibilities are endless. Problem? It isn't free. The standard edition is $50. The professional edition is $150. It might just be worth it though. It is just so cool.

Blabberize can make pictures talk. The plus side, it's free. It has a Monty Python look to it, which depending on your viewpoint, is a plus or minus.

I am creating this weblog for a graduate level School Library Media class (IST675) at the University at Albany in Albany, NY. This weblog will be the base for my Podcasting Toolkit. I will be creating podcasts, providing podcasting resources for educators and students, and linking to some educational podcasters who are "doing it right."
