Plot to Pot is all about the edibles,-designed to help novice gardeners and those in the first few years of growing their own food.
Bookings are invited for the Plot to Pot 8 week course commencing on Saturday 24th March 2012.
Fee €160.00. (All the 8 week courses are limited to groups of 10, to create lots of interactive learning opportunities). Phone to check availability.
Next one day workshop: "Introduction to Growing Vegetables and Fruit Organically" will be in Terenure on Saturday 10th March 2012. Fee:€45.00.

Is growing your own about to become Ireland’s fastest growing hobby?

As well as being a wonderful and highly satisfying pastime, more and more people are recognizing the financial, environmental and nutritional wisdom of growing their own food, as close to home as possible. The back gardens of Ireland are getting a new kind of makeover! Allotments too are more popular than they have been for 40 years.

Some T/V gardening shows make it sound so simple: “pop a seed in the ground and watch it grow”. Anyone who has given it a try knows that it is not that easy!

It is more about “know how” than having “green fingers”. It is mostly about understanding and skills and that need to be developed and practiced over time.

There is no better place to learn than in a supportive food growing gardening class. Our 8 week course is designed for novice growers as well as those who want to up skill and improve their success rate.

All Plot to Pot 8 week courses are limited to 10 participants to create interactive and hands on learning opportunities. Courses kick off in March annually and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
