1999: Right after graduation of high school, Jayles or Les, got into a life changing experience, that altered his life as he knew it. “The car accident i got into was nothing like a fender bender, it was more like, “your gonna die, so we need to use the jaws of life on you.” When I was in the hellicopter ride to Westchester Medical Center, I knew my life and my mentality would never be what it was. So, Since then i started writing lyrics that revolved around my life and my feelings.”

With songs like “Late 20’s”, Jayles finds the truth in his age and make is something the average person can relate too. “Hey, its was a topic i thought about and ended up enjoying writing the lyrics too, plus that beat is bannas!..Its who i am.”

Antoher song called “Find Your Way Out” he expresses the issues he has often faced, regularly, when in relationships. You hear his passion in his lyrics with a very, too the point, honest raw track. “Ladies might not like it, but the real dudes will appreciate,.. especially if they had ruff time in a relationship”. A familuar beat that woman can dance too, and the gentlemen can relate too. Jayles seems to touch topics that that might seem of the ordinary, but the transition he put on his lyrics, you can obviously see he has been through it and lived it.

Along with his extensively long catalog of music that goes back to the Council/Poor Rich Kids days, these two songs alone, are just the begining of the good music we will be recieving from Jayles. A humble kid that is built to be that,.. “House Hold Name.”, and is catching attention from his bizzar and honest topics, “I wake up everymorning thinking today I will write my number one hit,.. but then again I think ive been doing that, its time to let everyone hear.”

“I use an Olympus digital voice recorder and an upright piano I got off of craigslist for $100. I began to record my music so that I had something to listen to that was real and meaningful. Noah + The Man will be releasing two albums this upcoming Summer. The first, titled The Man’s Private Beach, is a Euro lounge compilation with compositions ranging from the chill-out surf inspired title track to the uplifting Disco House groove of “Love Take Me Higher.” The second release is Noah’s Ark, an ethnic flavored offering mixing Middle Eastern, Asian, and European musical influences with urban and electronic beats. Both albums will be available through digital distribution. Noah + The Man have also provided the Australian fashion company Jane & Eleni with the track “Equinox,” and have contributed their music to a number of independent short films.

Noah + The Man’s journey began as many great musical partnerships do — in a high school band. The plan was simple: write a great song, win a talent show, and achieve worldwide notoriety and success. While the duo accomplished their first two objectives, the last proved elusive at best, and the band members went their separate ways. Noah enrolled in UCLA as an Ethnomusicology major, and The Man studied Art at Harvard. After graduating from university, Noah and The Man reunited and became the proteges of Bud Prager, whose management credentials included Foreigner, Megadeath, Bad Company, Damn Yankees, and Mountain. With Bud’s creative guidance, Noah and The Man formed an electro-pop band under the name Love & Luxuria. The group launched in February of 2007 and quickly established a loyal following in France with their Bossa Nova influenced French-language single, “Let’s Get Away.”

Following the departure of their singer from Love & Luxuria, Noah and The Man formalized their working relationship in June of 2008 by starting Noah + The Man — an eletronic/lounge/dance production team. With Brian Eno, Daft Punk, The Freemasons, and the celebrated Paris lounge compilations — Buddha Bar and Hotel Costes in particular — in mind, Noah + The Man sought to strike the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. The last couple of years, as far as music goes, the south has been run by Atlanta. Coming from a state like Mississippi, its hard coming in the rap game. They just see us as being country and slow. It’s hard to make a name for yourself. Lil – L or otherwise known as “PAPERBOY” was born in Chicago but moved to Mississippi when he was 13. I big city boy moving to a small town, Goodman in Holmes County. Everybody knows everybody, it’s that small. But he adapted to his surroundings. It’s not that hard for a BOSS who is used to change. He moved from place to place when he lived in Chicago, 5 different schools in 4 years. But, now Mississippi is the place Lil – L calls home. He started playing basketball in high school where he met C-Rock. C- Rock was also dabbling in rap. At the age of 17, Lil – L got into a near fatal car accident that drastically changed his life. It was time for a new plan and a new pace in life.Buy not makeing it out of high school was hard. The realization came to him that the life he was leading was headed nowhere. At that exact moment, the decision was made to nurture his rap career that he played with for so many years. It was time to get serious! In 2003, Lil L AND GUTTAMANE started “SMOKIN ACE ENT ”. Sairu is an underground hip hop artist repping Southern California from LA to OC to the IE. He also takes on the persona of Dj Joe Dizza as a producer for his music. The beats range from smooth and melodic, to electronic and edgy. The lyric content can be braggadocio at times and even a little “emo” if you will, but its always real hip hop.

Marbin is an Ambient Jazz duo.

The band was first formed in June 2007 by guitarist Dani Rabin and saxophonist Danny Markovich. Together they have defined a new sound in Jazz. The group’s focus is conveying their compositions through the use of unique textures and soundscapes.

During 2007 and early 2008 the band was active in the Israeli music circuit. Marbin has played numerous shows all through the country. Then in September 2009 the band decided to move to Chicago.

Since then Marbin have been recording their first album which will be available in June 2009.

What to make of the outrageous, quirky, mad, goofy, fantastic, funky, and unpredictable sounds of Afterthem? On their latest CD (the 8th since their ‘03 debut), the aptly titled “Time Is Fun When You’re Having Flies,” the 5-piece band serves up their brand of deranged psycho-savant-funk-jazz with all the subtlety of the proverbial flying mallet. The CD opener, “Misses Johnson” starts things appropriately enough with a discordant workout over a rhythm whose time signature would give Dave Brubeck a fit of rage. But like an aperitif before a grand feast, the fun is only just beginning. When not channeling the spirit – if not the voice – of mad genius Captain Beefheart (Don Van Vliet), the bulk of the 18 track album defies categorization or description. Part avant garde, part inspired lunacy, 2/3’s part Tom Waits carnival barker’s delirium and half sheer inscrutability, it’s a veritable hall of sonic mirrors, casting strange and surreal sounds at the listener to confound, confuse, and – if patient enough, utterly floor. And while the singer warns, “just don’t get too close” on the whacked-out funk jam, “Coolo Daddyo,” my advice is – as to a boxer taking a pounding in the ring – get this album in a clinch and don’t let go.
