Holiday Expenses

Time is really running so fast and I just can't imagine that we are just few weeks away from the much awaited holiday of the year. Christmas is indeed here and I bet you guys already came up with your very own Christmas list. Unfortunately I haven't done with my list yet and i really felt so bad that I am rushing myself now. I should have made this list a lot earlier and I should have list down all my friends' desired gifts so that I am not as clueless as I am right now. Anyway, I guess it is too late for me to regret such negligence but I believe it's not too late yet to catch things up.
I don't have the Christmas bonus yet but I am fortunate enough to get an installment loan from a lending company. Applying for a loan is actually a good idea but I try to make it a point that I am doing it only if I really need it so bad. After the controversial split decision over the Pacquiao - Bradley fight, i don't think I am in the mood right now to watch any more boxing games. Maybe I'll give it a break for awhile. The recently held fight during the Pacquiao vs Bradley is indeed a controversial one and I know most of you who have watched the game felt the same way. It is pretty obvious that Manny Pacquiao should have won that game. I'm sure most of the people who have brought their boxing tickets were very much disappointed with the result.
Anyway, I guess I'll pay more attention to the 14th season of the UFC this coming September. I'm sure this season will offer a much more intense event. I am a big fan of UFC and I never get tired watching the reruns too. I am not an athletic type of guy and never been involved in any sport or varsity when I was in College. However, despite of that physical incapability, I never get tired watching sports on TV. I am not an enthusiast when it comes to sport but I love watching the show and I'm always excited about it.
Never had some interesting news to baseball though except for the controversies that Milwaukee Brewers had recently. They said that Prince Fielder would leave the team after a decade of being a part of it. They said that he would sign under Detroit Tigers which is such a disappointment for most Brewers fan. He has been one of the major contributor to the team and it was such a devastating loss indeed. Anyway, I'm sure many people would still offer their support to this team and will consider buying milwaukee brewers tickets still.

Hard Drive Issues

Finally, my PC is working fine again. I was informed before that I will be experiencing the same problem again due to some Hard Drive -related issues. In fact, even after they reformatted my computer, I'm still getting this error message stating that "Windows detected a hard disk problem"

My New DigiCam

Finally, i was able to buy a brand new Digital Camera. Well, it is not the latest version but it doesn't matter to me right now. I was able to replace my old Sony Cybershot to brand new one. It is still a Cyber Shot but with higher specs and features. I am not really techie or gadget savvy so I don't mind having an old camera as long as I can use it properly and as long as it provides pictures with good enough quality.
Maybe I will buy a DSLR camera soon but I have to save some money first. I don't think my budget is good enough to buy an expensive device like that. Summer is here indeed and I bet you guys have so many plans for this upcoming summer vacation. Yes, I got a promotion from being Network Support Associate to being an Officer in Charge (OIC) who is responsible to groom, assist and train those newly hired agents. Oh well, that's a good thing indeed in terms of my career but it seems that my personal life is badly affected by it considering that I have to give up some of my personal plans just to do my job effectively.
How i wish i could file an early vacation leave but i think it is quite impossible as of this moment since there's no one in the company who can do this job other than me. Anyway, despite of this heavy schedule, i am grateful enough that i still manage to lend time for some entertainment and that is in the nature of online casinos. Ichan(my cousin) is now a graduating high school student. He’s now spending his summer vacation with us. Yesterday, he mentioned to me that they had a career assessment last Friday. This made me ask him what course he is planning to take for college. He told me that he’s not yet sure on what course he should be taking in college and so he ask an advice from me. I am not good in giving advice so I just based my answer on my previous experiences. Just like him, I am so confused on what course I will take. There are plenty of course offered in colleges and it is hard to pick one. I told him to choose a course that will drive his passion. Just like what I did, teaching is my passion so I took Bachelor of Science in Education. He told me that he wanted to become a Nurse just like his brother who is now a professional head nurse in a hospital. I explained to him that once you’re there, there’s no way to go back or unless he’s willing to start from scratch again. I advised him to think of it first before deciding. He can have the nursing course in some respected schools like that nursing school san francisco in California. Anyway, he still have one year to think of it and besides there are now available web based courses out there which will give him wider options. Who knows, maybe he’ll become like his brother. I wish all the best for my cousin!

I have been working since i was 17 years old though i never pay attention yet with all the benefits and taxes that are being taken from my salary. I have been very busy with my work and I seldom get a quality time to focus on my other hobbies including drawing. Yeah! I really love to draw and it used to be my past time hobby when i was in high school. I try to establish a website dedicated to my drawings but it turns out a big failure because i didn't get enough time to draw and scan the pictures one by one. The picture shown on the left is one of my works and i'm kinda happy because this is one of the comic strips that i was able to share to my friends online.
