My New DigiCam

Finally, i was able to buy a brand new Digital Camera. Well, it is not the latest version but it doesn't matter to me right now. I was able to replace my old Sony Cybershot to brand new one. It is still a Cyber Shot but with higher specs and features. I am not really techie or gadget savvy so I don't mind having an old camera as long as I can use it properly and as long as it provides pictures with good enough quality.
Maybe I will buy a DSLR camera soon but I have to save some money first. I don't think my budget is good enough to buy an expensive device like that. Perhaps I will consider applying for a personal loan which is definitely not a bad idea after all. I do not have any bad credit history on my records so I guess my application can be approved in no time. I've tried personal and payday loans several times already so I , somehow, familiar with the drill. Summer Plans

Summer is here indeed and I bet you guys have so many plans for this upcoming summer vacation. Oh well, unfortunately not on my end because I have work and we don't any vacation at all aside from the two days day Offs. Actually most of my friends are currently inviting me for an out of town trip but i had to refuse them because I really have so many things to take care of. My job is becoming more demanding lately and my bosses keep on giving me a lot of workloads which makes it even more stressing. Yes, I got a promotion from being Network Support Associate to being an Officer in Charge (OIC) who is responsible to groom, assist and train those newly hired agents. Oh well, that's a good thing indeed in terms of my career but it seems that my personal life is badly affected by it considering that I have to give up some of my personal plans just to do my job effectively.
How i wish i could file an early vacation leave but i think it is quite impossible as of this moment since there's no one in the company who can do this job other than me. Anyway, despite of this heavy schedule, i am grateful enough that i still manage to lend time for some entertainment and that is in the nature of online casinos. Ichan(my cousin) is now a graduating high school student. He’s now spending his summer vacation with us. Yesterday, he mentioned to me that they had a career assessment last Friday. This made me ask him what course he is planning to take for college. He told me that he’s not yet sure on what course he should be taking in college and so he ask an advice from me. I am not good in giving advice so I just based my answer on my previous experiences. Just like him, I am so confused on what course I will take. There are plenty of course offered in colleges and it is hard to pick one. I told him to choose a course that will drive his passion. Just like what I did, teaching is my passion so I took Bachelor of Science in Education. He told me that he wanted to become a Nurse just like his brother who is now a professional head nurse in a hospital. I explained to him that once you’re there, there’s no way to go back or unless he’s willing to start from scratch again. I advised him to think of it first before deciding. I have been very busy with my work and I seldom get a quality time to focus on my other hobbies including drawing. Yeah! I really love to draw and it used to be my past time hobby when i was in high school. I have been working as freelance writer for almost 2 years now and I have been enjoying my work and I want to grow more and to explore other field. Oh great , here comes another news on TV that really drives my head crazy. The impeachment trial of Renato Corona is all over the news , radios and newspapers and i just can't bear them all. It's just too tiring to see the same news over and over again or maybe I'm just not so interested to politics and i just keep on refusing articles or infomercials related to them hehe.
This is the reason why i can never be a Political copywriter because i never p;ay attention to it. I love to write and i love to read but for some reason , i keep myself away from those topics haha. Maybe because I find them quite sophisticated and I feel like, understanding politics is just to stressful.

I just found these pictures from an old magazine that we were about to dispose yesterday. Isn't so fascinating to compare those old furniture than what we have now? It has been three months when i got hired to this company that I am currently working with. Just like my previous job, it is indeed another call center industry and as a matter of fact I almost got used to it since i have been into different call centers in the past 2 years. Being in this kind of industry has never been new to me. It is quite stressing knowing that most of our shifts are in graveyard but we have to bear with it since most of our clients are from abroad and we have to serve and assist them no matter what. In addition to that stressing graveyard shifts, we also have to face all the irate callers and try to solve their concern. Anyway, right now, I am currently adjusting with my new schedule and I and really grateful enough that they put me and my collegues in a Day Shift for the whole month of December though the stations that were assigned to us wasn't really satisfying than our previous working area. The cubicles here are quite smaller and I can't even put all my things on my desk. We do not have our own stations at the moment since we are just in the probationary stage and we are not regular employees yet. I have no reason to complain but it's just that, it is quite unfair for us to be assigned in such uncomfortable cubicles. For me, it is very important that you are working in a nice environment because that might be a key towards great productivity. How can we perform effectively on our work if we keep on seeing those messy and uncomfortable working place? How can we give our best if we keep on experiencing the worst?

I think they should renovate the production floor and make it a little wider for each call center agents. At the same time, they should also change the wall paint and make it more livelier. My Goal Next Year

Time is really running so fast and it seems that it was just yesterday when all of us are so excited in welcoming 2011 and now, we are about to bid goodbye and pave way to another year. I bet you guys already have your own new year resolution and goals. Hopefully, 2012 will become another blasting year for me in terms of my work and my blog. I don't mind being single for another year since i am planning to focus more on my career. If god will permit me, I want to go to college again and take another field. Nursing actually fascinates me the most and it has been a dream job to me. I really want to consider taking a nursing course or any health care related field however, i became very busy with my work and I don't have much time yet to study and work full time. It is so hard to become a working student. I have been there so I am aware how stressing it would be. This is the reason why i decided to focus more on my work first so that i can earn and save enough money for my education. But of course, we have to keep in mind that it is not just about how expensive the tuition fee is or how elegant their facilities are but the quality of the education that a school provide like what the nursing school san jose in California provides. Recovering My Old Toys and Reminiscing the Memories

My mom and I decided to have a general cleaning in the house and I found this old toy in our stock room. Wow, i was pretty amazed how did my mom managed to keep such toy for a very long time. As far as I can remember this is one of the toys I got from my Ninong Denny during my 7th birthday. I also have some pictures holding this toy so I am really aware about the exact day when did I received this gift hehe. It made me realized that aside from photos, toys can capture and save memories as well. It feel like I was celebrating my 7th birthday again after seeing this toy.
However, as you can see, the toy is not in the good condition anymore but I feel like I don't wanna throw them away since it is very memorable for me. I have to salute my mom for keeping these toys for almost two decades. Even though I lost Elmo and Ernie, I still have Big Bird with me LOL.
It was not my favorite toy actually because when I was a kid, I am more into robot and toy soldiers and my mom used to buy me a set because I will definitely cry the whole day when I didn't get any of those (tsk tsk tsk What a naughty boy I am).
But of course, things have changed after getting into high school but my fascination with toys is still there hahaha.
Believe it or not, i am still into it and as a matter of fact, i am saving my money now because I am targeting to buy that rc helicopter that i saw online last night. Her Dream

Nursing is pretty is demand course nowadays and I am not wondering why most of classmates in high school took that course after our graduation. And now, they are licensed nurses and some of them are working abroad. Good for them right?
My younger sister approached me before and she told me that she wanted to become a nurse too. She's currently in second year high school and two years from now, she has to take her course for college and get the profession that she wants. I don't mind any course she will take as long as is comfortable with it. If she wanted to become a nurse and my full support is for her. I will be guiding her all through out.
Of course, I would consider taking her to a nice school. how I wish i could find some good schools here in my country like those medical school san jose in California that offers high quality education and guaranteeing their students of a good career after their graduation.
Time is running so fast and I'm sure 2 years is not long enough to wait. I have to prepare myself to it in order to support my sister's education. Wish me luck and I know God is always with me to guide me as well.

Which do you prefer, working under an employer, serving your supervisor, dealing with irate clients and bearing all the stressing procedures at work OR handling and managing your open business, supervising your own employees, and running a business without following any orders from someone who's higher than you? Obviously, you'll pick the second one not just because it is your OWN business but knowing the fact that you'll not be working under a certain company, thus, you are not obliged to follow their rules.
Though creating or handling your own business is not that easy and it has many consequences too. Everything might not go exactly as how you planned it especially if you're lacking with proper marketing strategy. Not all business will end up successfully. Some of them might lead to bankruptcy or permanent closure because the owners failed to handle it carefully.
Keep in mind that before you create or establish a business, you have to consider a lot of things which may include the location, the type of business and how much it will fit to the people around you, budget, labor force and how much are you willing to shoulder their benefits and salary and a whole lot more.
It is a Win or Lose strategy at the beginning. This will measure how far your business can go but if it turns out successfully, it doesn't mean you will just sit down and relax. Time is running so fast and people might change so as their interest so you really have to establish a good business manajemen / management. You can hire other people to do it for you in an expert manner.

If you're planning to remodel or renovate your house, will you consider using Vinyl Composition Tile (or simply Vinyl Tiles) for your flooring and kitchen countertops? If you're budget is quite limited, then most likely, you will absolutely include Vinyl as one of your top choice material alongside with other inexpensive finishing like Ceramic Tiles and Laminated Flooring. Vinyl is not a Linoleum nor a Ceramic finishing but it usually resemble the same appearance.
Vinyl is inexpensive indeed yet you have to buy a special adhesive to attach them. Tiles are typically waxed and buffed using special materials and equipment too. Well, unlike Ceramic Tiles, Vinyl are quite sensitive to heat and the colors easily fade away in a short period of time. And worst, the tiles will start breaking or popping up because of improper application of adhesive or by too much exposure to heat just like what happened to these tiles I saw last weekend. Check how Vinyl tiles lose their alignment and starting to popped up.(It may not be so clear in this picture but if you're going to look closer, you'll see thateach tiles are not aligned properly anymore which is a sign of improper installation or application of adhesive)

Well, in fairness to Vinyl tiles, you can easily replace them by taking out the damaged part and replace it with a new one. But of course, replacement can be very costly especially if you keep on doing it over and over again. If ever I will remodel my own house or kitchen, I would definitely not consider such material. I am not necessarily saying that it's not an ideal one but it's just that, I am considering the quality and durability than anything else. I may have a limited budget but I will definitely save my money just to make use of those high quality materials like Marble or granite most especially for my countertop. They said that the best way to stay out of the blues is to get socialized. I'm not sure if all of you will agree but I am highly in favor with the socialized thing here. Socializing means getting friends and getting along with people that you love and people that you like.

If you're the type of guy who always on the state of solitude and prefer not to mingle with others, then it's time for you to change your lifestyle because isolating yourself to others will bring no good to you. It will just worsen your depression, making it too difficult for you to overcome it.
Depression is a mental disorder and the person who has serious depression should seek for guidance from experts psychiatrist, psychologist or any related field. It is a mental disorder indeed but it doesn't been you should compare it to insanity. But if you're going to let your depression within you, then you might end up reaching that point.
