Christmas patterns added at Pinbroidery

Six Christmas patterns have been added to the Pinbroidery stitching card collection.

The greetings are intended for relatives:

‘Baby’s first Christmas’ alternative greeting for Birthday.

‘For a wonderful Daughter at Christmas’ alternative greetings for Sister and Niece.

‘Happy Christmas Mum and Dad’ alternative greeting for Mom and Dad.

‘Merry Christmas Nanny’ alternative greeting for Grandma.

‘For a wonderful Son at Christmas’ alternative greetings for Dad and Husband.

‘For my Wife at Christmas’ alternative greetings for Mum and Mom.

The patterns are available individually and in a value pack of all six designs.

They are available as square or rectangular designs.

The square pattern size is 144 x 144 mm (5.65 x 5.65 inches).

Flower Border patterns added at Pinbroidery

Six new flower border stitching card designs have been added to the Pinbroidery pattern collection. Each card has a different stitched greeting: Happy Birthday, Congratulations, Best Wishes, Thinking of You, With Love and Good Luck. The greetings could be substituted for alternative stitched words, stickers, decoupage or motifs.

The patterns are available in a square format of 144 x 144 mm (5.65 x 5.65 inches) and also a rectangular format of 152 x 104 mm (6 x 4½ inches).

The patterns are available individually and in value packs of six designs.

Variation on partridge pot

Pinbroidery customer Ivy Crowhurst has sent us a picture of a card she made using the Partridge in a pear tree pattern from the Christmas Days 1 t0 6 set. Ivy has modified the way the pot is stitched. The holes are the same but the stitching sequence is changed.

Layer 1.
Section 1.
Out at A in at B.
Out at C in at D.
Out at E in at F.
Continue this sequence until section 1 is complete.
Stitch section 2 in a similar way.
Layer 2.
Out at 1 in at 2.
Out at 3 in at 4.
Out at 5 in at 6.
Continue this sequence until layer 2 is complete.
Add stitches for the top and base of the pot using the picture as a guide.

Twelve days of Christmas part 2 at Pinbroidery

Six new stitching card patterns have been added to the Pinbroidery website. They complete the patterns inspired by the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. They feature twelve drummers drumming, eleven pipers piping, ten lords a leaping, nine ladies dancing, eight maids a milking and seven swans a swimming.

Each design has pricking patterns of two sizes: 144 x 144 mm (5.65 x 5.65 inches) and 152 x 104 mm (6 x 4½ inches). The square pricking pattern has words on two edges and the rectangular pattern omits the words.

If you use rectangular double fold cards you could put the appropriate words from the song inside the card. You could stitch the words on the inside panel that folds in to hide the back of the stitching.

The patterns are available individually and in a value pack of all six designs.

Twelve days of Christmas patterns at Pinbroidery

Six new stitching card designs have been added to the Pinbroidery pattern collection. They were inspired by the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. They feature six geese a laying, five gold rings, four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree.

The design has pricking patterns of two sizes: 144 x 144 mm (5.65 x 5.65 inches) and 152 x 104 mm (6 x 4½ inches). The square pricking pattern has words down each side and the rectangular pattern omits the words.

Free heart circle curve stitching pattern

An eye-catching curve stitching design that creates a heart within a circle has been added here. The illustration shows the design stitched in confetti pink thread. The pattern size is 120 mm x 120 mm (4¾ x 4¾ inches).

Please note that this is a challenging pattern designed for advanced stitchers.

Initial stitching patterns added to our range

Seven card designs featuring the initials A through to G have been added to the Pinbroidery pattern collection. More initials will be added in due course.

These Pinbroidery initial patterns make beautiful personalised cards for birthdays and other special occasions.

The patterns are supplied in two sizes; 144 x 144 mm (5.65 x 5.65 inches) and 120 x 120 mm (4.75 x 4.75 inches). This gives you the flexibility to choose the size that suits your style of card making and to comply with any postal regulations on large sizes of cards.

Mini Christmas stitching patterns added to our range

Following customer feedback a set of six mini Christmas prick and stitch patterns have been released here at the Pinbroidery web site. The size of these patterns is 88 mm x 114 mm (3.5 x 4.5 inches). These mini patterns use sections of the larger Value Pack 3 Christmas patterns also available at Pinbroidery. They feature bells, candles, Happy Christmas, a fur tree, a poinsettia and a sleigh. These patterns make beautiful cards for the Christmas season.

Mini flower stitching patterns added to our range

Following customer feedback a set of six mini flower prick and stitch patterns have been released here at the PinBroidery web site. The size of these patterns is 88 mm x 114 mm (3.5 x 4.5 inches). These mini patterns use sections of the larger square William Morris inspired patterns also available here. They make a beautiful card for birthdays, congratulations and other special occasions.

If you want to try this size of pattern before you buy there are two free mini stitching patterns in the free section of our web site. These are a reworking of the free flower corners and star border patterns.

I chose the 88 mm x 114 mm size because blank double-fold cards of this size are readily available in the UK from suppliers such as Craft Creations.

A lot of customers have asked me to design smaller versions of the square PinBroidery patterns. When a customer asked for much smaller cards I realised that this could be achieved by taking elements of the larger design without reducing them. An experiment on the two free PinBroidery patterns showed that this was possible so I moved on to the William Morris inspired flower designs.

I am now working on some mini versions of the PinBroidery Christmas patterns.
