I’m on my first Camino, day 4. On day 2 I developed a blister on the outer side of my big toe after the downhill to Roncesvalles. I really tried to be careful from the start - I split the stage, rest when possible, air my feet and socks, wearing shoes one size bigger, merino socks, and use trekking poles. So I genuinely tried to do things...

I'm sure there's a thread somewhere on this topic. Sorry, I can't find it. Also, unsure of best thread title. Happy for a moderator to change.

We're currently on the Camino Sanabrés, having walked the Via Augusta & VdlP to Granja de Moreruela. Yesterday we arrived at the lovely Lubián municipal albergue, a small, 12-bunk place in a small village west of Requejo & Puerta de Sanabria.

Just after settling in, we were REALLY surprised when a guy walks in and puts 4 backpacks on...
Tomorrow I’m starting a series of three caminos; the first of these runs from A Coruña to Ferrol, following both routes of the Camino Inglés. I arrived in A Coruña at midday today and have already experienced quite a few déjà vu moments. Landing at the airport at the same time as I did six years ago on my first camino, the bus outside the airport building (€1.60 to the centre) set off immediately, just as it did back then, as if it had been waiting...
