A girl selling herself to save classmate

Dan Dan, 22, who studies at a university in Dezhou, Shandong province, is selling her own hand in marriage for £15,000 in a bid to save the life of a classmate.

Her friend Zhang Yuemei has been diagnosed with encephalomyelitis, a disease of the brain and spinal chord.

She has no money for the treatment she needs and without which she will deteriorate into a vegetative state.

"Her parents are all farmers, who are unable to afford sky-high surgery fees and follow-up treatment expenses," explained Dan Dan.

She says she will marry any man prepared to donate the equivalent of £15,000 to cover Zhang's medical treatment.

Critics have accused her of using her friend's plight to find a wealthy husband - but she is being supported by the chief surgeon at Jinan Qilu Hospital.

Snake born with hands

Have you seen a snake with hands?
A 68 years old Chinese woman, Xiu Qiong Duan, saw it when she woke up in the middle of the night to find the snake clinging to the wall of her bedroom.

"I woke up and heard a strange scratching sound ... at first I thought it was thieves" she said.

"I turned on the light and saw this monster working its way along the wall using his claw."

Ms Duan, from Suining in southwest China, said she then grabbed a shoe and beat the snake to death.

She reportedly preserved its body in a bottle of alcohol which she gave to the Life Sciences Department at China’s West Normal University in Nanchang.

Snake expert Long Shuai said the discovery of the creature, which is 40cm long and the thickness of a little finger, was "truly shocking".

"We won’t know the cause until we’ve conducted an autopsy," she said.

Teens find fortune fishing

Two teenage brothers went for a fishing trip and had found more than £50,000, after some thinking they decided to hand it over to the police. They also went to source for some legal advice whether to keep the money. Since the money maybe link to some crime.

The boys had been fishing at Tuntable Creek, a waterway near Lismore in the tropical region of far northern New South Wales on Australia's east coast.

The creek is near Nimbin, a small town known as the home of Australia's hippy culture, which hosts an annual MardiGrass festival devoted to promoting the use of cannabis.

The region had recently been affected by huge flooding so the bundle may have come from any number of streams in the area, known as the Northern Rivers region.

According to one of the police inspector if nobody came forward with a legitimate reason for claiming the money, the boys might be able to claim it.

Burglar left dog at crime scene

Police in Gateshead hope to catch a burglar who left an unusual clue at the scene of the crime - his pet dog.

The burglar has bring his small white Jack Russell during a break-in at an infants' school. The dog is now in the care of Northumbria Police and has name the dog Bobby.

Officers were alerted to the burglary by a member of the public who heard banging at the school, which police have not identified at the request of the head teacher.

When they arrived, the thief had already fled empty-handed, possibly alerted by a burglar alarm going off, but the Jack Russell was still on the premises. The police is now looking for people who can recognise the dog and help them find the owner.

Dad Takes Son to School in Helicopter

Bart Sutherin flew his 14-year-old son, Joseph, to his first day of classes at East Ridge High School in a rented blue-and-white Hughes 300 helicopter this week.

Sutherin landed the helicopter safely behind some portable classrooms on the east side of the campus, but he didn't clear the flight with the Lake County school district officials and sheriff's office first.

Sutherin told officials that he wanted to "make a positive impression on the other students" on his son's first day of ninth grade. The newspaper reports a deputy called the FAA after Sutherin's flight.

Deaf puppy learns sign language

An eight week old puppy was found to be deaf and it owner has been teaching the puppy sign language. This clever dog has since learn to sit, drop and come forth by recognizing it owner hand sign.

"Dogs understand your body language, your hand gestures, they read all of that. They know," Liz(Owner) comments.

"Consistency is the key to training any dog but you have to emphasise it more with a deaf dog. You've to train them in a different way, they train quicker than a hearing dog as there are no noise distractions."

In order to get the attention of her four deaf dogs, one of the techniques that Liz uses is to squirt them with a little water bottle.

She adds: "I want these dogs to have a fantastic life, and I know they can do it."

Boy "pregnant" with twin brother

A seven years old boy who was admitted to hospital with stomach pains was actually "pregnant" with his twin brother. Initally the doctors thought there was a cyst but found the dead fetus of what was supposed to be his twin brother instead.

"As we washed him, we could see that inside him he had his own twin brother. Mourat had been a Siamese twin but nobody knew it."

"Something had gone wrong during his mother's pregnancy and the baby grew inside his brother."

Valentina Vostrikova, chief surgeon at Chimkent Children's Hospital, told the newspaper: "It was remarkable. For seven years it lived like a parasite inside the boy's body."

There was a tumor present but it was from the fetus which grew bones, hair and nails. While the fetus was no longer developing as normal fetuses do, the tumor on it was growing thanks to the boy's blood supply.

Doctors removed the tumor successfully and they say they boy could have died someday had this operation not occurred. Doctors say the fetus could have been a conjoined twin. But for some reason it ended up inside the boy instead of attached outside.

The shrine had been built to honor the gods of iron, and swords that were once made there. There was a resourceful monk who successfully prevent the dangerous demoness' antics by making a huge penis out of iron, which shattered her teeth.

It is also believe that Japanese prostitutes like to attend such festival so that they can pray for protection against STDs. But these day it is more about funds raising for AIDS charities, promote marriage and to allow childless couples to pray for baby.

Xiao Xingwa a Chinese baby girl from Qinghuangdao who is only 21month old will be performing in front of public at Dongshan Sea resort next Wednesday. Moreover tickets for her performance is already sold out.

Xingwa started swimming since the age of 4months old and is taught by her grandfather. It is also known that both her parent is working at France and so her grandfather has been taking care of her well being. Her grandfather used to bring her to sea for training but some public view this as a child abuse and even went to alert the police. Hence Xingwa mother had send a home swimming pool set to her grandfather so that they can continue training at home.

It is normal and common for couples to go to a romantic restaurant to celebrate their anniversary. It is also normal and common for a group of friends to dine in a restaurant. However, below are some pictures from some restaurants which will make your dining atmosphere totally different. It will definately makes your anniversary or dinning a memorable one.

In Taipei
This is a toilet theme based restaurant in taipei. The restaurant has a bathroom decoration, with colorful toilet seats being the standard chairs in the restaurant. Not only that, it also serves food in plates and bowls that are shaped like western loo seats and Japanese "squat" toilets.

So would you taste the ice-cream shaped like faeces?

In Latvia
This restaurant which has a hospital theme based looks like a medicine cabinet, the food are served in flasks. Do not worry about the waitress in nurses uniforms to draw blood from you using needle, they only served you food. By the way, the place is owned by the local doctors.

In Belgium
The previous restaurants are not special enough? How about dinning in the sky? This is a Brussels based restaurant that serves dinner up to 22 people. It is 150 feet from the land! The tables and chairs are specially designed and are lifted by a crane. I will definately will not recommend people with heart attack or high blood pressure to take the risk. However, do remember to wear your seat belt and not drop your fork!

Man needed surgery after sex with hedgehog

Use bomb threat to delay flight

In an attempt to delay the flight departure, this 35-year-old man make a phone call to Delhi airport to announce there was a bomb inside the aircraft to delay. According to BBC reports.

Eventually the flight was delay several hours due to time being spend on extensive security operation checking on passengers and conduct search on their luggage. The police manage to found the taxi driver who overheard him making the hoax call and later on the man confessed to the police of making bomb threats call when his cell phone number was traced by the police.

You may think that this is just two pics joining together, one of a giant oil tanker and one of a peaceful little town. In fact, it is a real ship that famously ran aground in 2007 within spitting distance of that little Australian community there. The accident was cause by bad weather. Eventually it became quite a tourist attraction, with people traveling from all over to see the massive stuck ship and perhaps hoping it was about to spill several million gallons of Fosters.

This is some sidewalk art if you look at it long enough it will create a illusion around your head. But if u think it in 2D you should be able to identify the road.

Do not worry this is just giant gundam model with some movement that all. You go to youtube to catch some preview of it movement. Maybe this is their way of countering North Korea nuclear threats. LOL!!

Next time your friend show you this pic do not believe in them if they told you this is an UFO. This is in fact another form of lenticular cloud, which happen when the clouds are positioned perpendicular to the wind direction, where they get spun into shape like a clay pot.

This extraordinary structure on Montrose Boulevard took motorists by surprise. This was created by artists, Dan Havel and Dean Ruck. The two wooden buildings were to be replaced by a new built project so the few months before the demolition, they made this into an architectonic installation.
