Lasting Memory of UFO Encounter

"I have told this story to my parents (who were with me but didn't believe me) and others over the years, but finally gave up telling others.

When I was about 4, I was traveling with Mama & Daddy across Mississippi one night. This was back in the "Sputnik era" when we could still watch Sputnik and Telstar and other new satellites cross the sky at night (no light pollution). I was sleeping on the back seat of the car but woke up suddenly. I looked straight up (out the back car window) and saw a large, sparkly, twirly rotating thing not very high up, moving slowly through the sky, as if it were following the car. It was covered with colored lights on long spires - the spires moved slowly in and out while the whole thing rotated. It looked like a huge animated Christmas ornament. Being startled, and 4 years old, I let out a scream! Daddy nearly ran off the road; of course my parents were startled and stopped the car. They didn't see anything (the sparkly twirly thing disappeared) but said I must have seen a satellite.

About 17 years later I went to see Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind with friends. It was an enjoyable movie, right up until the Mothership rose up over the top of Devil's Tower. I burst out in tears and sobbed uncontrollably - I felt both tremendously sad and deliriously happy at the same time - a kind of "terrible ecstasy." I tried telling my friends "That's what I saw when I was 4!" but of course they thought I was nuts and had no idea what I was talking about.

Now, I know that Close Encounters was a fictional movie. And maybe I did see a satellite when I was 4. But the "click" in my brain when I first saw that scene in the movie was more like triggering of a long-hidden memory. (I still get that feeling when I watch the movie.) You probably get thousands of stories like this, but I feel better for having shared mine."

Home Invasion & Abduction

I am a 58 yr. old professional woman of color who has had visitations since I was a child. I know what happened to me and only want to discuss my events for research purposes. The first case listed happened at night around 1986/7. It is still a vivid memory of waking up on an examination table with several aliens of different heights around me under a bright light. At first I didn't feel afraid even know I knew I was not at home and believed I was on a spaceship. I thought I had been there several times before. They spoke to each other and myself through thought. The next thing I remember, I was still on/near the table but I felt very sad and was crying. I don't know why. When I woke up in the morning and went to work, I felt uneasy and nervous which, is not my nature. I was casually discussing the incident with a co-worker to further calm myself down when another employee who had come in started listening to what I was saying. Suddenly, she became very excited and said that she was there also and saw me on the exam table. It freaked us all out and we stopped talking about it. I was a deputy-director at this agency and I remember the name of the co-worker who also saw me.

Later Incident: Somehow, I believe this incident is connected to the first one described. I lived in Queens, NY and had several visitation memories from that location as an adult. The one I will discuss happened around 1993. I woke up in the morning and there was a stillness in the room that had me feel uneasy. I had two dogs at the time and neither one was in the room with me which was strange. I stepped off the bed and everything that had happened to me the night before came back in a rush and extremely detailed. I woke up to see very alien-like people entering my bedroom. I was not afraid at first because the first person who entered the room was my general Dr. I saw on regular basis. The second he appeared to come in, he stepped to the side and there were several aliens who also entered. I immediately became scared and the next thing I remember was being pushed up against the wall in my room and one of them was trying to exam/look for something through my private area. My Dr. seemed to be gone as I was calling out for him but the other aliens were on my left side and talking calmly and telepathically to each other. They were 4 or 5 of them in the room and by their voices, some were female. They all seemed to be some type of Dr/medical staff and wore white type clothes. The ones off to the side were about 6ft, very slender and almost angelic looking with minor interest in me. The one examining me was short, very rough, wearing a hood, about 4'5". I kept trying to see his face but he was trying to hide himself from me though he appeared the most non-human looking. There is more graphic detail to this but for the sake of space, in the end the alien found what he was looking for and removed it. I blacked out and then woke up as stated earlier. Strange Encounter

I had an encounter with a UFO when I was 10 years old. It was in school and was playing football on the playground when I looked up and there was this craft. It looked just like the Lunar Module with windows going around the bottom of it. It was hovering in the air when a low black cloud came across and covered it. When the cloud had moved out of the way the craft was gone.

I told my mother that I had seen the Apollo coming back to earth because that is what it looked like. The Apollo mission was happening at the time, but I did not know about it until my Mother told me and explained that they come back to earth in the Pacific Ocean. It took a few years for me to realize what I had seen and that`s when I said to myself it was not of this earth.

When I was 14 years old I was with a group of mates and we were playing in the nearby woods next to a golf course. We went onto the the course and sat on one of the tee-off bunkers. It was starting to get dark so we decided to head back home when one of the boys says, "what`s that up there"? When we looked up, there were three lights, blue, red and green in a triangle shape and it was not moving. We were too scared to move and we just sat there looking at it. It seemed like an age, when one the lads says it`s lights were dimming. The lights were not dimming they were getting smaller. I realized it was rising and as soon as it was out of sight we legged it and run towards the local school because it was lit up. We would not go back into the woods.

When I got home I told my parents what had happened, but they sort of ignored me. In the local paper the next evening the headlines was, "Policeman Spots Triangular UFO in the Breacon Beacons" (about 30 miles as the crows flies from us) on the same night as us. That`s when my mother believed my story .

A couple of weeks later I was walking with my mate going to do our paper round and as we were walking to the local shops a green ring with a green ball in the center of it flew over the top of us. It looked as if it was going to hit a block of flats in the distance, but it went over the horizon. It was that big it looked as if it was low and it was overcast as well, so it had to be under the clouds. All of this happened in Newport Gwent, South Wales and the encounters that I had happened in an area of about 2 miles around my house. I am 50 years old now and I remember all of it as if it were yesterday. I will never forget and I know what I saw. - Name Withheld

Humanoids

One evening in the Spring of 1975, my girlfriend and I were driving through the Kansas countryside. After crossing a cement bridge that spanned a river, we pulled into a farmer's access road and parked at the edge of a field alongside a bend in the river with the car pointing east. Not long after we stopped we noticed a strange light that suddenly approached our location in a quick "blur". Suddenly, hovering above the tress was a dark object, rectangular in shape with on red & one green running light positioned together on the lower part of the craft at its center. We stared in amazement and couldn't take our eyes off the object.

After 5 minutes or so, we noticed the craft's position had moved to the right. It seemed to move in a very slow motion to the other side of the river. After another 5 minutes I decided to drive away from the area. As we turned onto the county road and subsequently onto the cement bridge we saw that the craft had returned to its original position, above us and slightly back from the bridge. I stopped again and got out to look at the craft.

The object was about 20-25 ft. wide and now I noticed a large rectangular glass window, or what appeared to be glass, running across the middle third of its front. Standing inside to the left side looking down on us were two beings, which I could see only from the waist up but could tell that theses beings were about 4 ft tall, with abnormally large heads and large black eyes. The eyes seemed devoid of emotion and their skin was pure white, like the moon, the texture resembling that of an albino salamander. Their eyes ran almost north/south with their heads. The craft hovered silently the whole time. After about a minute of eye contact with the humanoids I got back into the care and rapidly drove away from the area. We could still see the craft hovering where we had left it.

My girlfriend and I eventually married and still live very near to the location where we witnessed this craft. Sometimes, we both get an urge to return to the spot and just sit there and talk about our shared experience, kind of hoping these beings would stop by. - JJ

1. We've enjoyed considerable forward momentum establishing the support of capable businessmen (something I am definitely not) in Tampa. They are laying the groundwork for a wide-reaching campaign to raise the funds we need to recover the Starchild's genome. It will not be a Kickstarter campaign, it will be more personal than that. The details are not quite ready to reveal, but topnotch people are hard at work on every aspect of the campaign.

2. The "small DNA kits" that were purchased with donations a few months ago have now been used up, and the results are several hundred million of the Starchild's base pairs. We are MUCH further along now in terms of collecting DNA data, but now we have the problem of interpreting such data with very limited computer equipment. That problem will be solved when we have the money needed to sequence the genome, but suffice to say that at every turn of the DNA screw, the Starchild moves farther and farther from human. From all we can determine at this point, it's a dead-lock cinch that the Starchild's DNA will prove beyond any possible doubt to be as alien as we can imagine.

3. I will be discussing the Starchild in a new TV show on the Travel Channel called "Mysteries of National Parks." Recently I flew to be filmed discussing the many UFO sightings in and around Joshua Tree National Park. They also have many sightings of the "Yucca Man" hominoids, which are the local name for their bigfoot/sasquatch type of hair-covered bipedal primate. I also discussed those, but it's hard to know what will survive the editing process.

4. The USA's top forensic artist, Lois Gibson, is creating what we hope will become the definitive (and iconic) image of the Starchild as it might have looked in life. Lois is based in Houston, and her masterful portraits of rapists, murderers, and child-stealers, and her age-progressions of long-missing children, have led to over 300 successful convictions of criminals, and the return of dozens of missing children. She combines the skills of a fine artist with a "sixth sense" of perception, which has made her #1 in her field. As soon as her image of the Starchild is completed, we will make it available.

New Mexico Bigfoot

The Valles Caldera is an enormous volcanic crater in the Jemez Mountains in northern New Mexico, known for its elk herds.

Now the area is getting attention for what else may be living there.

According to some field researchers, the area has perfect living conditions for Bigfoot.

They even provide proof, a video that brought investigators from the Finding Bigfoot TV series , that airs on Animal Planet, to New Mexico.

On an episode of Finding Bigfoot, the team from the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization heads to the Jemez Mountains in northern New Mexico.

The BFRO came to New Mexico late last year after a thermal video was taken in 2011 by another man on an expedition to find Bigfoot.

Now, the team is trying to figure out the size of the image to make sure it's not just another camper by comparing it to a picture of Bobo, one of their researchers, who is standing in the same place. - KRQE

Market's Ghostly Visitor

Some things have to be seen to be believed.

Which is perhaps unfortunate for anyone trying to prove that Wellington Indoor Market is haunted.

A ‘probably explainable’ video has been posted on YouTube, sort of showing what could possibly be construed as a ghost-like figure making its way up the stairs and pulling some boxes over in the Victorian building in Telford, Shropshire.

The events were captured at 2.22am on May 4, according to Town and Country Markets, which posted the video. Though the time and date – much like the ghost – can’t be seen just before the boxes fall.

Market manager Kay Boaky is certainly a believer. Kay said after finding boxes all over the floor that morning, they went straight to CCTV to see if there had been an intruder.

‘We couldn’t believe what we saw. All the hairs stood up on the back of my neck,’ Kay told the Shropshire Star.

‘There was nobody there when the boxes fell off. We watched it again and we could see the shadow walking up the stairs then chucking the boxes over.’

The video, which asks ‘did you see it?’, has sparked some comments.

‘i dont see a damn thing’, replied viewer john simmons.

Nevertheless, this is not the first time ghostly goings on have been talked about at this market. There have also been reports of a ghost, possibly with clean hands, a bit of a cold and a short temper.

‘Once there were two people alone in the market,’ said Kay.

‘They were talking when they heard coughing coming from the other side of the building. They thought there must be someone else there but when they looked around it was totally empty.

‘We also have times where the hand-dryer starts on its own or doors slam.’

PJ Godsell, from investigators Mercia Paranormal, described the video as ‘quite interesting’.

‘My initial reactions from watching the video is that this is probably explainable.

‘But we would never say 100 per cent that it is not paranormal.’ - Metro

Vatican denies Pope Francis performed 'exorcism'

The Vatican has denied claims that Pope Francis performed an exorcism, after TV images showed a man apparently reacting to him putting his hands on his head.

The encounter - during Sunday Mass - was shown on a TV channel owned by the Italian bishops' conference.

The station quoted exorcists as saying there was "no doubt" the Pope had either performed an exorcism or a prayer to free the man from the devil.

Its director later apologised for "having altered the truth".

The Pope's spokesman said he "did not intend to perform any exorcism".

"Rather as he frequently does with the sick or suffering who come his way, he simply intended to pray for a suffering person," said Federico Lombardi in a statement.

The footage shows a young man, who is in a wheelchair, opening his mouth and either screaming or breathing deeply as the Pope puts his hands on his head and prays for him during the Mass in St Peter's Square.

The man then convulses and slumps in his chair.

On Tuesday, the director of the TV station which broadcast the pictures, TV 2000, apologised for the report, saying: "I don't want to attribute to him a gesture that he didn't intend to perform."

"I apologise for having altered the truth of the facts and for the people who are involved, in particular I apologise to the Holy Father," said Dino Boffo.

Religious figures in Rome had insisted the act had been an exorcism.

They included the Vatican's former chief exorcist, Gabriele Amorth, who was quoted by Italian media as saying the act "was an exorcism alright" and that he had since performed his own exorcism on the young man, who he said was called Angelo.

Exorcism is the ancient practice of driving out demons or evil spirits from a person or place they are thought to possess. It is practised by some Roman Catholics but treated with deep scepticism by others. - BBC

Is Ted Bundy Back?

As if the past few weeks couldn't get any stranger. It would appear that the ghost of Ted Bundy is once again showing up at the Florida State Prison in Raiford, Florida (now known as Union Correctional Institution) according to a current inmate at the facility:

I'm a resident of UCI in Bradford Co, FL. serving a life sentence. For many years I heard the rumors of Ted Bundy's ghost appearing and didn't believe it. Now, my mind has changed. I and other residents (including staff) have witnessed the ghost on many occasions. It is definitely Bundy. It comes in the early morning before dawn in our housing unit and in different cells. He's always smiling. It's a white-blue mist but very detailed. Some of the other residents claim to hear him talking. I have not heard that yet. Any suggestions on how this can be taken care of?

In 2008, the reports coming from the prison were very strange. It appeared that the ghost of Ted Bundy showed up and terrorized prison guards and inmates. A guard who asked not to be identified said that Bundy's ghost appeared in the area where he was executed and in his former cell where he spent his last hours before being put into Florida's electric chair.

Up until the end Bundy tried to save his life by offering to tell where more bodies were buried, but eventually officials refused to give him any more time and he was executed. The 2008 reports of his ghost leaked out of the prison. It was reported that the Warden's staff even threatened to fire guards if they spread the story of Ted's ghost being at the prison. It is also rumored that some guards were scared into quitting their jobs because of Bundy's spectre.

Now, out of the blue, I receive this email. I checked the address and it was definitely sent from the facility named. So is Ted Bundy back? Did it actually come from an inmate...or possibly a guard? Maybe I'll receive further information.
