Interesting.. In my experience Enterprise and Agile are not mutually exclusive, other than in mindset.. 'Enterprise' is often synonymous with big bloated projects, numerous consultants and a snail-like pace.. rather than the actual definition - a platform that has be deal with intense volume of traffic at the front end and big system integrations at the rear.

The approach to building that enterprise system can be 'agile', 'lean' or 'waterfall' - up-front understanding is not up-front definition, and really the process is the same in any methodology; however only waterfall really refuses to face reality and carries on regardless, even when every sane person can see the project ballooning out of control, over time and budget...

Unfortunately, my Network Connect install does not restore the file (although it does create the backup). But thanks for the tip!

NC backs up /etc/hosts and /etc/resolv.conf to /etc/jnpr-nc-hosts.bak and /etc/jnpr-nc-resolv.conf respectively. It tries restore them once you disconnect, so all you need to do is to edit all four of them when things get nasty and you're good to go :)

I didn't :-(
I just edit my hosts file manually once in a while. It doesn't really break anything unless you connect from a network that has an unreachable IP for the VPN machine (for example, internal network then internet).
It's just messy...
