Penis Extender Study

Evidence that links penile size increase with total extender usage comes from a study^† recently published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine. Greater Gains with Multiple Shorter Sessions

It comes as no surprise that the longer a penis extender is used, the greater the results. Nitric Oxide and Erections

When sexual stimulation occurs, the sponge-like erectile tissues within the penis relax and fill with blood which increases pressure and volume and leads to an erection. This entire process is controlled by a number of biologically produced chemicals. Some of these chemicals cause a restriction of blood flow to prevent erections while others like nitric oxide lead to expansion when an erection is required.

While in a normal healthy system these factors are usually in balance, erectile dysfunction (ED) can develop when relaxing vasodilators such as nitric oxide are inhibited. This imbalance which prevents the erectile tissue from expanding and results in the penis remaining flaccid has been linked to the following conditions.

Cardiovascular Disease

Approximately 75% of men with cardiovascular disease also experience ED. This is believed to be a result of the reduced blood flow and impaired nitric oxide production caused by a hardening of the arteries (a buildup of plaques referred to as atherosclerosis).

Penis Frenulum

The frenulum, full name frenulum of prepuce of penis, is the elastic membrane of tissue located on the underside of the penis directly beneath the glans (penis head). You can see it as slightly highlighted in color in the attached picture. This area of skin contains many nerve endings and is very responsive to touch and light stimulation.

The frenulum connects the foreskin on the underside of the penis to the glans and can vary in size and shape. In some cases all or part of the frenulum is amputated during circumcision which can diminish sexual sensation and orgasm intensity.

Upfront Costs and Liability Waivers

Before we get to the pricing for individual penis enlargement procedures, it's important to understand that there will usually be some non-refundable fees that must be paid upfront. Alloderm grafts on the other hand do not involve scarring since the tissue is not taken from your own body but instead from a cadaver (a dead person). Sometimes however the foreign tissue is rejected by the body and the procedure will fail.

Additional Surgeries

Getting Started

UK Penis Study Methods and Results

The UK study^† focused on collecting data for three particular penile measurements:

• flaccid pendulous length
• flaccid penopubic length
• stretched flaccid penopubic length

Flaccid Pendulous Length
This type of length measurement is calculated while the penis is in a non-erect state. According to the findings, the average flaccid pendulous length was established to be 8.7 cm (3.43 inches).

Flaccid Penopubic Length
The difference between this type of measurement and the previous one is the location of where the actual measuring begins. For penopubic length, the measurement starts at the pubic arch instead of where the penis protrudes from the body (some of the penis shaft is actually hidden within the body). The average penopubic length was calculated as 10.2 cm (4.02 inches).

Stretched Flaccid Penopubic Length
This is performed exactly like the preceding technique except the penis is physically stretched before the measurement is taken. Average stretched flaccid length was recorded as 14.3 cm (5.63 inches).
