It is easy to overlook the calling of our hearts. Everything in the culture around us clamors for attention or ‘more’.  The call of the heart is quiet.

The call of our heart is reflected in our emotions. When we feel joy and peace, when we feel assurance – that is our heart telling us ‘this is good’. When we feel fear, anger, judgement, or misgivings – that is our small, ego mind pulling us away from the love that always comes from God’s Voice. Which is where our heart is connected.

You can ask your heart what it has to tell you. Put your attention on your heart center at the center of your chest. Ask what it thinks. What do you feel?

Choose to listen to God’s voice, the voice of assurance and love. It is your choice.

IET – Integrated Energy Therapy is an energy healing method where the practitioner focuses on harmonizing and balancing your energy system with the help of specific healing angels who work with healing certain energy centers and issues in the body.

IET was developed by Steven Thayer, the founder of Center of Being. He was blessed with a connection with Angel Ariel and recieved specific directions in healing others from stress, discomfort and unbalanced energetic systems. In IET the angels are invoked for help in healing areas of stored, old energy that is ready to be released. This old energy could include pain, old emotional issues, or negative thoughts that no longer need to be maintained in your system. Techniques are added to release old, stuck energy and allow you to move on by energizing you with healing and balancing energy.

IET is, like Reiki, also not a religion. It can fit in with all religious doctrines as it has no precept of its own about how God is understood, except that God, or Divine Source, is the source of the energetic flow.

This prayer is asking that we receive help in giving up our own intentions, our own self-centered will. Instead we ask that we look to where we can bring to others the gifts of God. We ask to bring God’s Peace, Love, Pardon, Faith, Hope, Light and Joy to others where it is needed. We ask to help others rather than wait to receive help ourselves. 

This is a basic tenent of energy healing, that the practitioner remove their own will from the picture, and let the highest need and good of the client determine how the healing is accomplished.

A deeper look at the prayer reveals that whatever gift we wish to receive, we must give it first. If we want love, we must give love first. If we want hope or joy or any of God’s other gifts and blessings, we must give them first.

In the giving of these gifts, we take a step toward receiving them ourselves. How do you feel when you give joy – joyful?  How do you feel when you give faith – a bit larger in faith yourself?

Cultivating the traits you want to have, by giving that gift to others, by embodying that trait, helps to bring it to you. That is how you can gain it.  That is the secret of the law of attraction. You need to walk into a new emotional trait, wear it and give it to others, in order to receive it.

The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words, ‘Rei’ meaning universal and also refering to the spiritual dimension and the soul, and ‘Ki’ meaning the vital life force energy that flows through everything that is alive. It is pronounced ‘Ray-Key’.

Reiki is not a religion. Its purpose is for all people to be able to utilize the energetic healing for good and wellness. It fits in with all religious doctrines because it merely focuses on harmonizing, balancing and releasing blocks of the life force energy.
