Doctor Who NEW Funko POP Vinyl Figures!!!!

I couldn't help myself and had to buy these three new Funko POP! figures from Entertainment Earth's new Doctor Who line up. They also came out with the 4th Doctor as well as a Weeping Angel, Tardis and Dalek. I'm sure i'm missing a few of them but those were the main ones i've been eyeing for my collection.

I realized soon after I purchased and started writing this post they took them down due to an overwhelming response to the pre-orders. There is no indication as to when they will be back up so just keep an eye out for them in the future. I'm sure you can find them in other retail shops online so if you see it, snab it!

December 2014 Loot Crate Review: ANNIVERSARY!

EXCLUSIVE The Joker Batman-Batman POP! Vinyl Figure: This has got to be THE best item EVER. I am obsessed with Funko vinyls, I have started quite a collection especially from the Batman collection. I believe this is a very rare item since its a combination of the Joker and Batman and you cannot get this item anywheres else. Estimated retail cost for the figure is $25.

Simpsons Cast Mighty Wallet: I have always wanted a mighty wallet and now i'm very excited to have my very first one. On top of that its a Simpsons one which is even better. You can tell from my video just how excited I was when I saw this. Estimated retail cost for the wallet is $10.

EXCLUSIVE Batman Comic Book Issue #36: I always love when they include comics in the crates. As a comic book collector this excites me very much and can't wait to add it to my collection. Estimated retail cost for the book is $15.

EXCLUSIVE Dancing Groot Crew Socks: Since I am just about to move to a colder climate these socks will come in handy, and double plus they are Groot socks. The downside of these socks is wether the fact my husband will fight me for them. Estimated retail cost for the socks are $10.

Captain America Air Freshner: Most people know already I am definitely not a Captain American fan. This item will most likely go to someone who is. Maybe if it was orange to match our car i'd consider it. Estimated retail cost for the item is $8.

Tetris Sticker Set: Oh the possibilities with this. Definitely fun to put together and they really look like you are playing Tetris. Apparently this can be placed on pretty much any type of material. Estimated retail cost for the stickers are $5.

EXCLUSIVE Ghostbusters Door Hanger: Not really sure what you do with this since i'm kinda a grown up now and apparently grownups should not hang these on doors, unless you have kids, then thats totally acceptable. This will have to go displayed somewhere on the wall. Estimated retail cost for the figure is $5.

Crunchyroll Flyer: I love that Crunchyroll is getting a bunch of attention now. I use them quite often for anime, manga and most of all my drama shows. Estimated retail cost null void.

November 2014 Loot Crate Review: BATTLE!

Pirates vs Ninja T-Shirt: The shirt gives out a tribute to the ever long battle of Pirates vs Ninjas. Of course my choice is and has always been Pirates. Estimated retail cost for the shirt is $20.

Mega Man Mini Helmet: I thought this was an awesome piece to add to our shelf collection. I've been wanting something Mega Man to display for some time now. I would have loved to receive the blue helmet but green will do just fine. Estimated retail cost for the figure is $15.

HALO Drop Ship Mini Figure: I'm not much of the Halo game fan but I do love me some of the figures tho. This is pretty tiny so to display it on the shelf looks a bit strange. Estimated retail cost for the figure is $8.

Street Fighter Headband: Not sure what i'm going to do with a headband but gosh darnit i'll find SOMETHING. I used to kick ass in the game, Chun-Li's my girl and I had a soft heart for Blanka. Estimated retail cost for the headband is $5.

Assassin's Creed IV Unity Coin with Velvet Pouch: I'm not quite sure what one does with coins. I'm not much of a collector, I have been given some as gifts but I never know where to display them. This baby was quite heavy for its size, pretty cool looking. Not sure if its something I would ever buy or keep. Estimated retail cost for the coin is $8.

Game Redeeming Codes: Always love me some free gaming codes to play with. They offer a FREE full game download for Street Fighter IV Super arcade edition, that alone is actually $20 value and i've been dying to play it so YAY! Theres also a code to try Lichdom Battlemage, not sure if i'd try it out. And then a card that just pretty much states which side are you on.

Death By Kitten T-Shirt: The shirt material felt super comfy, almost like American Apparel. It was very lightweight and soft. I'm not sure if i like the style. This box is set to fit my husband. He's deathly allergic to cats so i guess this is the best he can get as close to them without dying. Estimated retail cost for the shirt is $20.

The Walking Dead (Issue #132): Ok, WHO told them i love comics!?! Thank You!!! Especially one i currently read too. Estimated retail cost for the comic is around $15.

Sledgesaw Hammer Pen: When i first looked at it i was like what in the world is this. I totally didn't even realize it said DeadRising on the bottom of the box either. I didn't know it was a pen either until after i looked through the booklet, I thought it was just a toy replica. Kinda made me feel better to see other people didn't either until later. Estimated retail cost for the pen is around $10.

How To Survive A Sharknado Book: Not just comics, I love books, I love anything that has to do with reading. This is definitely going to get read and would make an awesome gift afterwards. Estimated retail cost for the book on Amazon listed around $10.

"Oh, Brother" Art Print: This is just the cutest and will be going up on the wall with my other prints. Estimated retail cost for the print is around $5.

Slashes & Bites Tattoos: Tattoos are cool. I sort of want to use them for halloween but i just know i'd mess it up. Estimated retail cost for the tats are around $5.

I definitely loved this theme box this month. Perhaps its my obsession with anything horrific and Halloween that makes me love it even more. I think the fact that they include things to read, it just makes the money that much more worth it. I would have to say my favorite item in this month's box would be the Dead Rising Pen. September 2014 Loot Crate Review: Galactic!

Alien Re-Action Figure: This item made it for me this month. I am head over heels in love with Alien and had yet to own something from them so when i saw this handsome devil in that box i squealed. I saw some other people got others so i was super lucky we got the Alien. His brain glows in the dark and you can arrange his mouth. Estimated retail cost for the figure is $10.

Star Trek Tribble Exclusive Looter Edition: DO NOT feed the Tribbles! Under no circumstances, or they will multiply! Ok so maybe this one won't duplicate. It definitely is a cute idea but i'm not really sure if it's something i would actually go out and buy. It just looks like left over clumps of fur from a Chewy doll. If you lose the package no ones going to know what it is. The hair gets all over the place, i'm still seeing bits flying around the house. Estimated retail cost for the plush is $5.

Firefly Vinyl "MAL" Exclusive Action Figure: OK... Prepared to be shocked. I am not a Firefly fan. So of course when i saw what was inside i was slightly not impressed. That does not mean the toy itself isn't awesome so it's more of a user dissatisfaction. This particular mystery box is Science Fiction themed so you have chances of getting other awesome figurines like Spock or Alien. Estimated retail cost for the mystery box is $14, however, this Malcolm Reynolds figurine alone i've been seeing on market for about $25.

Firefly Bank Robbery Money: Once again definitely not a Firefly fan. I was not interrested in this item at all. Play money, the hell you do with that? I guess if you are a HUGE Firefly fan then this is something that you would love but for me it's going in the box of giveaways. I watched Danielle aka TradeChat's unboxing video and she had a really awesome idea to use these as a boarder around a picture or something creative like that. I guess these could be useful for that. Estimated retail cost for the play money is $10.

Star Wars Exclusive Retro Arcade Magnet: Ah nostalgia in one entire magnet. Estimated retail cost for the magnet is $5.

Star Wars Poster 9 x 27": Now thats pretty cool, definitely a special moment in Star Wars. This is going up on the wall for sure. Estimated retail cost for the poster is $5.

After being spoiled by the last 2 awesome boxes this was a tuff one to challenge. For me personally i wasn't a fan at all for this month's crate since most of the items were of Firefly content...and that weird Tribble. This box probably made those fans days so thats good. My favorite item in this month's is definitely the Alien figurine and after calculating the amount all together I say it all came to MAYBE $50.

August 2014 Loot Crate Review: Heroes!

Funko POP! Groot Exclusive: This was hands down THE best item in the box. Not only is it Funko, and Groot who is my favorite right now, but he glows in the dark and he is a special exclusive just for us awesome looters. I was so excited when i saw him in there i did a little dance. Estimated retail cost for the Vinyl is $15.

TMNT Full Figure from Kidrobot: This was definitely an awesome addition to the box. Even tho Michelangelo is my favorite turtle, i can deal with Ralph. Unless someone out there has a Mikey they are willing to trade. These are super cute and i especially love how they have the packaging identical to the ones in the 80's. Now i may have to collect the entire series. Estimated retail cost for the TMNT figures are $9.99-$15.99.

TMNT Mask Glasses from H2W: Well who doesn't love such awesome shades. Ok it's Leonardo but it was fun for the minute or two while wearing them. Once again Mikey out there anyone? Estimated retail cost for the glasses is about $3.

Sonic Air Freshener: A car always needs something yummy to smell like and a cool thing from which the yummy smell comes from. Estimated retail cost for the air freshener is about $3.

Shoe Lightning Bolts by Schwings: I always wanted one of these altho its not the color that i needed. Nonetheless its still pretty cool. Estimated retail cost for the air freshener is about $8.

Magnet: Deadpool magnet is ok. Not a deadpool fan but i do love me some magnets to decorate our fridge. Estimated retail cost for the magnet is about $3.

July 2014 Loot Crate Review: Villains!

I wasn't sure what i loved more, the inside contents of the box or the actual box itself. They had the box decorated to look like a villain had actually graffiti'd all over it. I almost thought it was done by hand with a sharpie. Another thing i pointed out to my husband was the size of the box was abnormally longer than usual and it seemed like some sort of comic book could fit inside. Lets take a look.

The theme for July is Villains. You'll find items from Star Wars, Mario and DC/Marvel Characters Heres what i received from Loot Crate this month:

Exclusive Rocket Raccoon Comic: I KNEW the box looked about the size of a comic book and BINGO, one was shining in that box. I am all in for every Loot Crate box to include a nifty comic book in them. Since it's an exclusive and comic book pricing varies the pricing would estimated about $10.

Bowser Magnet: Oh yes, i do love me some magnets, especially if its anything to do with Mario related. Estimated retail value $4.

Darth Vader Key Chain: Vader is awesome and so are keychains. I may have to take this away from my husband, shhh. Estimated retail value about $7.

Necessary Evil DVD: At first i thought this was a soundtrack of some sort but it turns out Christopher Lee narrates this documentary that explores the villains of the DC universe from over seven decades of incredible comic book chaos. Necessary retail value about $3.

Harley Quinn and Joker Posters: 2 in 1 poster duo so this counts for 2 separate items in the box this month. i immediately hung it up on my collection wall. I haven't been able to find out who the artists yet. Posters estimated retail value for $5 each.

Batgirl's New Uniform!!!

Batgirl's got a whole new uniform and i LOVE IT. This may be by far one of the best superheroine outfits that has ever been made.

The new look is designed by Babs Tarr and the new comic that will debut with it will be written by a team of awesome; Brenden Fletcher and Cameron Stewart. Barbara is making a new outfit after years of dealing with mess after mess so her style will be fun and will reflect her own style and age.

I for one cannot wait to see all the cosplayers showing off this fantastic piece.

Nerd Block June 2014's Unboxing

Nerd Block is a monthly geek and gamer swag mystery subscription service. Each month they send you a box containing 4-6 geeky items for just $20 plus shipping so it comes to a total of $30 depending on your location. The box is shipped via USPS from Canada Post and usually sent out around the 15th of every month.

This box was sent to my Husband for review, it was our first ever Nerd Block (we usually just get Loot Crate). After opening and seeing whats inside i can definitely say this box is WORTH IT. To me i honestly believe you are getting your moneys worth. Below are the items that were sent to us and you can compare the two yourself.

First up is a Ghostbusters shirt titled "Who You Gonna Call?" The shirt features the very adorable Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Shirt retails to about $12

Second we get another shirt included in our box this month which is such an awesome bonus. The shirt is titled The Iron Sentinel and is a mash-up of The Iron Giant animated movie and X-Men. The Iron Giant got replaced with Sentinel and instead of Hogarth Hughes underneath him it is Wolverine instead.

Shirt retails to about $12

We get one of those awesome mystery box vinyl figures for Doctor Who. I was hoping to get 10 but the Tardis was just as awesome to get as well. Now we have a baby Tardis to match the huge one we have on our shelf.

You can buy these online or at your local Hot Topic store retailed for around $9

A Mario Kart Racer figurine was included in the box which is super snazzy because we just bought ourselves a Wii-U, we got Luigi and as much as i was hoping he would come with that death stare impression he didn't, but he's still awesome and so he will be placed right next to the system anyways. If you want to collect the entire series there is Mario, Toad, Luigi, Donkey Kong and Yoshi.

Retail value is around $5

Last big ticket item is a Nerd Block Pin Art Game. At first i was like what the heck is this thing but then remembered once upon a time ago these were THE RAGE. I used to entertain myself for hours with these things. You can make shapes by pushing the pins through with your hands or pretty much any item that fits. Not sure if i would pick this up and play with it again but you never know when my ADD calls for it.

Retail for this would be estimated around $8

And a Minecraft sticker... because you can never have too many of these.

Attack On Titan LIVE-ACTION 2015

We will be seeing a live action movie for Attack On Titan coming soon in the year 2015. It will be directed by Shinji Higuchi who has brought you Evangelion. The catch tho, he will be casting all Japanese actors. If you are familiar with the show, our characters are actually American as well as some other cultures. Mikasa is the only asian in the series so i'm not really sure how this will work out.

What is your thoughts about this live action film being produced? Do you think they are making a better decision casting all Japanese actors instead of varying it up? Do you think this movie will be successful?

June 2014 Loot Crate Review: Transform!

At first when you open the box immediately your thoughts were "hey, this may end up awesome." After removing the shirt its rather plain and disappointing. I feel as if they didn't even bother with this months. It most definitely was aimed towards guys completely, making it specifically Transformer themed, no originality or anything. You pretty much pay for the shirt and thats it so if you were super in love with the shirt then it would be worth it for you.

The theme for June is Transform. You'll find items from Transformers. Heres what i received from Loot Crate this month:

Marty Mcprime Shirt: If you are a huge Back To The Future fan as well as Transformers than this is the shirt for you. It's a mash-up of the two awesome characters. Estimated retail cost for the shirt is $20.

Transformers Blind Box: These are always fun because its a surprise in a box and surprises are always fun. I think i may have been happier if i got Optimus Prime but hey thats why its a surprise, right? Estimated retail cost for the box is $13.

Transformers Hex Bugs: Ok, so honestly my first reaction when i saw this in the box was, what the heck is this stupid toy. We had no idea what the point of it was. After taking another look at it i found a tiny switch at the bottom of it, switched it on and the toy began to vibrate. If you place it on the ground it moves around super fast like a bug trying to run around. This amused us for a good 5 minutes and then we got bored of it. Estimated cost $8.

MLG Terry Cloth Wristband: Wristbands are always neat to have but sometimes find them useless and cheap. I guess since my husband and I work out this could come in handy. Estimated cost probably $2.

MLG Stickers & Transformers Sticker Set: ....Stickers, joy.

Warheads Candy: Because when i think of Transformers and gaming i think of Warheads? These were so disgusting.

So thats pretty much it, nothing too exciting and not very thrilled at all with this crate. I feel as if they are getting worse and thats pretty disappointing. Not bad, altho i'm pretty sure most of this stuff here you could find for cheaper if you are lucky.

So when you first open the package my first thought was "HEY! Where did the booklet go?" Since Loot Crate sends this box to my us for free to review we do not get the normal subscription emails that they send to everyone else. If you do get the emails then you would have read that this month they are trying to go a little bit greener and make the entire booklet available online. This is kinda awesome because of the whole saving greens bit. The other half of me was rather bummed because i kinda liked collecting those booklets just like the pins. The theme for May is Adventure. You'll find items from Adventure Time, Minecraft and Zelda. Heres what i received from Loot Crate this month:

Describing The Legend: FINALLY we are back to getting shirts. This was always one of the main things i loved about the crates because shirts are expensive and so far i have fell in love with all of the ones they offered. They stated for this theme that it was a Looter Exclusive Edition. The artist is Zen Monkey Studios, he has been around for quite sometime and if you are familiar with his work then you would know just how amazing they all are. Most of his shirts have the same word/image theme going on which is fantastic. My favorite one is his TMNT word shirt, this is definitely my second favorite from him. The material of the shirt is amazing, its almost like the thin American Apparel, it feels very nice. You are already getting your moneys worth since this shirt alone retails for $20.

Adventure Time Tins: This was absolutely awesome. I really enjoy tins and these came with a special surprise toy inside of them. I have yet to see the show but i was a tiny bit familiar with who the characters are. The tin itself is a good size, not sure what i will put inside of it but it sure will get some use out of it. The tiny toy inside was cute as well and will go nice with the rest of our collection. The tin collection retails for about $7.

Minecraft Hanger: This came in one of those surprise bags you can pick up in stores. We got the creeper which is exactly the one i wanted anyways so yay! This retails in stores for about $6.

Dangerous To Go Alone Opener: Well i don't drink beer or soda that requires a bottle opener but it is pretty snazzy and it does have one of the best lines ever from one of the most awesome games ever so i guess it can hang on my keychain along with my Lego characters. Since this keychain is made from their labs normal keychains retail for about $3.

The Friend Zone Soundtrack: I found it rather odd they would include a cd since this is now 2014 and none of our technology really plays CDs anymore. I think it would have been much neater if they gave us a tiny flash drive maybe in the shape of links sword with the soundtrack on it. I feel like it was kinda the cheap way of going about things, like i went to a concert and these are the kind of thing you find thrown all over the floor because...well its cheap. Now if you are YouTube savy then you would know this came from Polaris, a show on YouTube where a bunch of friends talk about geeky stuff. I would probably say this item would be about $0.

Sticker Set and Tats: I for one did not know what any of these were about... until i saw Maker Studios at the bottom of one of them and kinda put 2 and 2 together. We have stickers from Captain Sparkles, Polaris, and others from YouTube. All big top gaming geeky YouTubers to enjoy.

Themed Button: Button Swag, at least they decided to keep this in for the collection.

So the full cost after calculating most of the items it came to about $36. The shirt alone was $20 and thats the entire cost of the box, the rest of the items were like a little cute bonus added onto.

April 2014 Loot Crate Review: Dragon

Loot Crate is a monthly geek and gamer swag subscription box. Each month they send 6 to 8 handpicked items for $13.37 plus $6 shipping and handling. Each box are guaranteed to have a value of $30 or more.The box is shipped via USPS Priority Mail and most times arrive in about 2 days which is very awesome.

Being the theme "Dragon" i was VERY excited to see what goodies we would be receiving in this crate. However with what we received i was slightly disappointed in the quality of what was put together. There were 6 small items in the box, i knew from the instance i picked up the box it felt way too light. Most people i know that subscribe to these actually loved this box the most. Perhaps i'm starting to get a tiny bit greedy. I did thought we would get some more awesome things especially since i am obsessed with dragons like a shirt or something. They could have been a tiny bit more creative.

The theme for April is Dragon. You'll find items from Game of Thrones, D&D and Elder Scrolls. Heres what i received from Loot Crate this month:

Elder Scrolls Online Exclusive Figure: I have yet to play this game, my husband has played only a tiny bit of it but he wasn't really feeling it. The guy itself it pretty neat, his helmet is removable as well as his axe and sword. He reminds me of those chicken nuggets from McDonalds you used to collect like when you were a child, i'm weird i know. Apparently after reading the pamphlet they say its a very exclusive item that is not available to purchase anyone, exclusive for LootCrate subscribers only which i find pretty cool. I have found similar figures to this one retailing for $12.99.

Game Of Thrones Mystery Mini: These are pretty neat, normally i never buy these because they do tend to be pretty pricey in stores. Before opening i was hoping we'd get one of the wolves and we did. The boxes are rather misleading, the size of the box is about 3 and a half inches so you are thinking COOL my figure will be about that big! Nope, the actual figure when we took it out was barely 2 inches. the entire box was mostly all wrapping. Pretty upsetting and totally not worth it. When i went to search for how much these retail for you can purchase them online or at a Hot Topic store for about $8.99.

Dragon Shield Screen Cleaner: This was pretty neat, apparently you can wash these and they restick and are reusable. I would most likely forget to use this and always end up wiping on my pants or sleep or something. It's still a very neat concept and it has a cute little dragon logo on it. It's now stuck to the back of my phone to cover up the boring Apple logo in the meantime. I tried searching for this all over the place and could not find it, the pamphlet does not say exclusive, it is made by the Loot Crate Labs so it may only be made for the crates. Similar ones like this retailed for about $4.

20 Sided Stress Dice and 20 Sided Polyhedral Dice: The hubby and i don't really play any games that require dices and all that, were mostly electronic but these were neat to have i guess. The stress ball comes in handy, my hubby took it to take to work when he's stressing over something and well i'm not really sure what to do with the small dice. I guess it will just be sitting on the shelf. I say looking up online the small one came to $3.99 and the stress ball came to about $15.

Dragon Slayer Tag: I honestly feel like a dog tag is a cheap way to go when it comes to needing something cheap and easy to "fill" a box up. Some people love the whole concept of dog tags and actually wear them but i find them rather boring. Myself nor my husband would never wear this as a jewelry piece. This most likely will be sent as a gift to a friend. I did however like the slash tallies on it as it reminded me of The Silence from Doctor Who. I'm guesstimating the retail value to be about $8.

Dragon Jerky: It wasn't anything spectacular, it tasted like plain boring jerky. It had no flavor and was rather on the dry side, it didn't want me drooling for more like most jerkys do. The odd part about it was that the jerky was green so it looked like it was molded. It was made by Harcos Labs, the name sounded familiar so when i looked them up i knew instantly who they were, they are famous for their health potion bottles and their zombie jerky which is exactly where this came from and thats why the jerky was green. Not very clever when you take your same product you sell and just stuff them in a different package. Upon looking up the retailing value is about $5.

Here’s what we got in this week’s nibble box:

Wholegrain Banana Caramel Dippers:

(caramel sauce with wholemeal banana shortbread dippers)

Wasn’t too bad, the dippers were very crumbly, they fell apart when i picked them up. It definitely tasted like bananas and went pretty well with the caramel sauce. It leaves a bit of a dryness in your mouth so after each bite you would need to reach for some water but overall not bad.

Boston Baguettes:

(BBQ relish with tomato breadsticks)

These were ok, the baguettes themselves tasted a bit weird and combined with the sauce tasted ok but it doesn’t leave a fantastic taste in your mouth. I think because i’m not a fan of relish you really get that taste left in your mouth. I probably would not eat this if i was looking for a quick snack.

Herby Bread Basket:

(garlic crostini, mini basil breadsticks and oregano rice crackers)

My husband and i liked this one the most it tasted like if you were eating garlic bread. It made me want to eat more. I could find myself snacking on this right before dinner or something.

Tropical Daiquiri:

(pineapple, lime infused raisins and green mango)

Surprisingly we did not like this one at all. It was very very sour. I thought this was going to be my favorite since i’m a huge fan of mango and pineapple but this left the opposite impression. I opted this one out for the future, perhaps if they didn’t make it so sour it most likely would have turned out better.

March 2014 Loot Crate Review: Titan!

This time i sort of prepared myself for what Titan may be about, i asked a buddy of mine who knew all about it. Titan is a manga, later evolved to a Anime series. I am currently in the process of watching every episode possible and have only managed mid way so far into writing this. I am VERY impressed by the storyline, a little on the gory scene if you are not into that then i suggest to stay away.

(editors note: i've just been informed that there is also an xbox one game released called TitanFall, that would explain alot now)

The theme for March is Titan. You'll find items from the manga/anime series. Heres what i received from Loot Crate this month:

Exclusive Titanfall T-Shirt: The shirt turned out pretty cool and when reading the pamphlet they give you it states the shirt can not be found anywhere else which makes it even more unique.

Attack On Titan Manga Book Issue #1: This was my favorite item in the entire box, i am one to read EVERYTHING so the fact that they gave us the first issue made me jump for joy. Soon as i am done watching the series i will be jumping straight into this book. Normally it's the other way around but shhh who's watching.

Titanfall C101 Lanyard: I didn't like this one very much, not that its a cool design or anything it's just... a lanyard? What am i suppose to do with this. I had a dozen other ones from all the conventions i have previously attended and tossed out quite a few. Maybe my buddy Jurre would love this more.

Attack On Titan- Scouting Regiment Wristband: These are all pretty neat altho the last time i wore one of these i was active in Tennis, and that was ages ago. I think my brother would really love this one since he still actively plays and sweats alot.

Attack On Titanfall Magnet and Titanfall Premium Strategy eGuide: Magnets are always cool, i have plenty of space on my fridge and i thought including a free eguide was awesome, especially since its about a $10 value too. Free is always definitely good.

So at least this month i was a little more excited than the previous months and glad i prepared myself a little bit about it. March 2014: Graze.com Review

Here’s what we got in this week’s nibble box:

Graze’s Chocolate Orange:

(roasted hazels, orange infused raisins and dark chocolate buttons)

The dark chocolate buttons were so delicious. I could just eat an entire bag of just these alone. I do love chocolate and the combination of dark and orange flavor make it taste perfect. I used to not be a orange kind of person but with JUST a hint of it makes anything taste pretty good.

Lightly Toasted Pistachios:

(roasted pistachios with a touch of salt)

They tasted like your ordinary plain pistachios. There was nothing special about these at all. I am obsessed with them so i enjoyed them but i would have preferred if they could have done something with the taste to give it something a little more interesting.

Super Berry Detox:

(blueberries, green raisins, goji berries, and cranberries)

Ok this was SUPER yummy, and all of it was very good for me. With all of them combined at once gives it an even greater taste. I gobbled this all down immediately.

Jalapeño Fiesta:

(jalapeño peanuts, roasted sunflower seeds, salsa almonds and roasted pumpkin seeds)

Our least favorite item from the bunch. Not a fan of anything spicy especially jalapeño. The taste was rather bland, it’s still sitting in the box untouched. I opted this one out for the future.

Here's my first Graze Box unboxing!

Here’s what we got in this week’s nibble box:

Jelly Doughnut:
(raspberry fruit strings, raspberry infused cranberries, almond slices and sponge pieces)
This was surprisingly yummy. If you eat them individually it's not as terrific but if you grab a whole bunch of them and chew them at the same time it is so incredibly sweet and delicious. I would definitely mix up this combo again.

Brooklyn Bites:
(poppyseed pretzels, cheese cashews and roasted pumpkin seeds)
My husband and i didn't like this one very much, it was very plain and left a dry taste in your mouth. We're not big fans of pretzels and seeds so we could of done without them all. The cheese cashews were not too bad, you could barely taste the cheese tho which i guess is alright in this case. We would most likely not get this batch again.

Summer Berry Flapjack:
(rustic rolled oat flapjack with berry-infused cranberries)
This was our FAVORITE out of all 4 of them. We demolished this pack super fast. It tastes similar to a chewy granola bar, you can really taste the fruits inside. We would definitely order a bunch of these as snacks for work or whenever you feel hungry at all.

Toffee Apple:
(sticky toffee sauce with granny smith apple slices)
This was an interesting mixture. It was sort of on the so-so side. The apples were a bit chewy, unlike the freeze dried you'd normally buy on their own. The toffee may have been a bit too much, definitely very sweet, i found myself only able to have 2 before it became too much to eat. I don't think i would be ordering more of this. I'll just be sticking to my Nutella and apples.

February 2014 Loot Crate Review: Warriors!

I have to honestly admit that i just had no clue what this theme was about, usually my geek senses would be on point but i guess i just never got into this series.

The box is shipped via USPS Priority Mail and most times arrive in about 2 days which is very awesome. Normally they always come very quickly, this months however got lost in limbo. We recently moved from Colorado to Los Angeles so it was shipped to our old home and had to wait for it to be rerouted, poor thing went through quite a journey.

The theme for February is Warriors. You'll find items from Bravest Warriors, Frederator, Kidrobot, and more. Heres what i received from Loot Crate this month:

Bravest Warriors Bow Tie : I admit i have no clue what Bravest Warriors are, i remember the ladybug character from a previous Loot unboxing but still didn't know where he belonged to. This bow tie is just the cutest. I know my husband would never wear this so i get to keep it all to myself. Its adjustable so i can even wear it as a headband. Dunny Sideshow or Bot Blind Box Figure : I LOVE blind boxes. Theres something about surprises that get me all excited. He's got a cute peace sign on the back of his head. I will collect just about anything that has to do with them. It's like when you were a kid and putting in a quarter in a toy machine and waiting to see which toy would pop out.

Themed Button : Every box always comes with a cute little button. Buttons are always fun to have.

Alpha Battle T-Shirt : After i shot my video i went back to take a double look at it. I realized they were ALL popular characters from video games. I did get the Mario and Luigi, Bomberman and Donkey Kong but there are still quite a few i'm still trying to figure out. This shirt is my husbands size since it's specifically molded for him. I could always get my own later. The artist who designed this shirt is JAMESCHO84 he was featured on Shirt Woot! and i am obsessed with the website. I do have a coupon for a Woot shirt from a previous crate so i could use that. SCORE!

Bacon Love Card : This card is just full of awesome, i mean come on who DOESN'T love bacon! I'll have to hold on to this till next year since i kinda missed Valentines Day.

Bravest Warriors Sticker : When i picked this up i thought it was a rainbow Ewok. I most definitely have to check out this show so i'm not lost in the future. These stickers are a limited edition that are printed specially for Looters.

Bravest Warriors Digital Comic : The card includes a code to use with Comixology (who i use quite often) for a free copy of the digital comic. I looked up the price at it costs $1.99 so definitely worth it if you are into the show.

GPS Cinch Bag : The bag is another Bravest Warriors reference, mostly use it to carry around your Loot items in. I always like to have a few bags around cause you never know when you need them and it looks cool.

Loot Crate Unboxing Guide : Every Loot Crate comes with a booklet that explains every item in the box and where it comes from. Pretty neat, this came in handy this month since i was just clueless, i know i'm just going to get told by my friends but oh well.

Estimated value for this box was over $20 so you are definitely getting your money back. This months was so so for me since i know zero about the show so i wasn't as excited as the previous ones. Most of these will probably be donated to buddys who love the show.
