This coming Halloween weir your favorite creepy masks or costumes. Prepare for a ~~spook-tacular~~ events this 2009. Bring your kids or niece to parties and have fun. Trick or treat is popular in the states but we Filipinos already adapt their culture. It is a custom for children on Halloween. Children proceed in costume from house to house, asking for treats such as confectionery, or sometimes money, with the question, “Trick or treat?” The “trick” is an idle threat to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given. This is normally an empty threat, because it is rare that any such trick is ever played. (Wikipedia)

I never had been in a house-to-house trick or treat during my childhood years. But I remembered that every Halloween, I tried to prepare my own party. I gave limited tickets to my nieces and cousins. This is a passage tickets so they can entered our hunted house, lol. I decorate the house with pumpkins, bats, witches and spider web. I find Halloween really enjoyable; this is not just about Fun. Fun. Fun! We also have to make it sure to visit our relatives or friends who already deaths. Bring some flowers and candles and pray for their soul. Official nominated ang blog na ito sa darating na Philippine Blog Awards. Pero kanina ko lang nalaman na bukas na pala ang balota kung saan maaari mo ng iboto ang blog na iyong napupusuan. Sa totoo lang hindi ko nakahiligan sumali sa mga awardings sa pitong taon kong pagsusulat. Para sa akin kasi lahat naman tayo ay panaho mapili man tayo o hindi. Hindi mo naman kailangan kasing ipangalandakan sa blogosperyo na magaling ka. Hindi nakukuha ang galing sa taon na tinagal mo sa blogging. Maaaring hindi lang nila napapansin ngunit mas may kwenta pa ang sinasabi mo kesa dun sa taong puro pagyayabang ang ginawa simula ng tumuntong siya sa blogosperyo. Ayos lang na gumamit ka ng mga jargon words na halos duguin mo na ang ilong ng mga nagbabasa kahit di mo pa sila nasasapak. Kesa yung wala ka ng ginawa kung hindi iparamdam sa mga tao na ikaw lang. ikaw lang at ikaw lang gets mo? At ang tingin mo sa amin ay level down. Level down at never nag level up.

As we all know last saturday September 26, 2009 there are simultaneously heavy rain because of Typhoon Ondoy causing flush flood on different areas of NCR, REGION 4 RIZAL and other areas of Luzon in the Philippines. Me as one of the residents of Rizal particularly in San Mateo Rizal is also witness in this unforgetable traggic event. Maybe the differences is that we are luckier than the others because the water doesn’t enter our gate. A relief and a blessings from God. Unfortunately to some of our neighboors and relatives the flood had enter their respective homes. Still we from our barangay had so much to thank for because no one have been harmed or died. My uncle and other cousins had temporarily sleep in our house. We suffered from 2 days black out, no dialtone and signals. My dad is so worried to us since he can’t contact any from our family.

To giveback, I tried my best to reach out by asking donations using my social networkings account. Twitter, plurk, facebook and friendster. As a member of Philippine National Red Cross I wasn’t able to go in marikina to distribute some goods because of my heavy menstruation. My plan has changed and was asking my other fellow nurses to join with me at Sagip kapamilya by abs-cbn as a volunteer or by attending the medical mission at the cainta and metro manila. Developing your pectorals (chest muscles) won’t make your breasts smaller. Many of you would have heard this tale countless number of times. But let me tell you now that this is yet another myth about women’s weight. Training/female body building that just does not seem to go away!

Yes strength training has an overall toning effect, howeever if you’re dieting ang you lose a significant amount of body fat, then you will reduce breast size(but ofcourse, this decrease will also be proportionate to the fat loss from youre entire body) so if you lose weight and end up with smaller breasts. Its because that’s how you truly were meant to look like. And there’s nothing wrong with that. So blame the shrinkage on your diet/weightloss routine. Dont blame the exercise.

Muscle and fat are very different types of tissue and we cannot turn one into the other, and women’s breasts are mostly fatty tissue. Your breasts won’t actually get bigger, but what is actualy happening when you perform the right chest exercises is that you would tone the muscle underneath the breast tissue and this will cause your chest to ‘appear’ to be bigger. Therefore it is impossible to actualy increase breast size through weight training but what you’re able to do is to only create an ‘appearance’ of bigger breasts. Isn’t that good enough?

That is, if you go below 12% body fat(which you shouldn’t be unless you’re a competing female body builder etc.) your breast site will decrease. So don’t be surprised when that happens. If it’s still bigger breast you want, then the only solution for you is to either gain fat or get breast implants.

Baka matulad kasi ako kay Princess Diana eh. Wala din naman kasi ako ikwekwentong lovelife. Conservative kasing talaga ako. Kaya hanggang ngayon wala pa din akong bf. O ayan, alam muna na wala akong bf? pero di ibig sabihin nun allowed ka ng landian ako. Asa ka!. Alam kong habulin ako, pero I don’t take advantage my charisma. It was a fine day. When you are hanging out with your friends, time flies so fast. You temporarily escape from your problems. You become yourself. The last time we saw khat, was we are in 2nd yr. college. I was only 17 back then, now I’m 21. Today khat will go back in L.A, another 2 years to wait. When we were going to play billiards again?. lol. Jhao, will fly in L.A too by October I guess. We will be missing so many friends. Just like my other friend tinimae, 5 years to complete just before she can go back for a visit.

It was a 3 consecutive fun gimik with WAYAS friends. We were in Redbox in trinoma + Playing billiards in Bowling and Billiard in MOA. Eating and talking anything under the sun. Well, this is the only time that I can spend so much time with them. Knowing we are all busy with our lives. I hope teenage life remains. But someday I know, we will have our own family. Spending time with your friends will be lessening, or the worse is you will never meet them again. I always have heartache whenever I think of those times to come. Yeah. I’m afraid to get old. But what scared me most is to be alone. I love them all, they are a treasures to keep. I will always miss you guys!.

Fist of all congratulations to all new batches of nurses who made it in the June 2009 board exam. Another set of newly registered nurses to pull out all their responsibility towards this profession. I also wanted to greet my co-blogger friend yeye of idlip.net . Man! I’m so proud of you.

I’ve been in this momentum last february when they announced the newly RN’s who made it in the November 2008 exam. The rush, excitement and agony and everything… wooh! goosebumps when I made it the board of nursing. Likewise, yesterday I know the feelings of the others who anticipate to see their names. The differences now, is that I don’t have any fear of browsing names since, I’m done with that. Unfortunately, to some of my friends who failed in the board exam is another story. I have a heartache to see that they are not included. Like really? why?. I couldn’t believe it at first, so I keep on looking. Maybe I have some problem with reading too many names, with the same lastname. So I keep on searching, but sometimes things have to be like that. Reality bites. So I stop. And I think of them? What are their reactions? how will they get through starting today?. I didn’t text any of them. except for two. My bestfriend and yeye.

My best friend told me that she can’t still believe. In denial stage. But I told her, that maybe it’s not for you this time.. You have to move on, one week after this. Give me a chance to apologize. I knew di na ako nakadalaw sa mga blog ninyo. But I promise to visit you if I have time. I’m so thankful to all visitors who still keep in touch. Kahit wala akong new blog entry. Without you, This is not worth it at all.

As you all know, o sa mga ibang di pa alam. I’m working my ass a novice nurse in the University of Sto Tomas Hospital. I’m just a trainee, so meaning I’m working there without salary. It’s not even what you called volunteer. Because I paid for my slot, just to be trained by highly preceptor. Of course I’m expecting too much. I expected to learn more. I wanted to gain more knowledge and skills. Pero, to be treated like a student and utusan. Yun ang kinaiinis ko. Di porkit novice ako. At senior sila, pwede nila ako hiluhin at utus utusan which is di sakin nakatoka. Ok lang naman sakin yun, atleast natututo ako. Ayoko lang kasi ng approach nila. Pwede naman siguro in a good way. Pero yung dating kasi ay may gap. Naiintindihan ninyo ba ako? Lahat naman kami parehas na licenxado. Ang pinagkaiba lang namin ay senior nurse na sila. Kasi matatanda na nga sila. Pero parehas lang kaming may RN sa dulo ng pangalan. Baliktarin man nila ang mundo.

Worse of all, I have a nursing supervisor. Who made my world so hell. Pag dumadating siya. Akala mo kung sino na dapat dumapa at saluduhan siya. Para bang tumitigil ang mundo at ang relo ko tuwing nakikita ko ang pagmumuka ng baklang supervisor na yun. He lectured us with common things, and asked us stupid questions, at kapag di ka nakasagot pinagdidilatan ka ng mata. At gusto niya na daw tumalon ng building ng USTE. Which is ok lang sakin. Panonoorin ko pa.

I just don’t understand why you have to use your position, just to make someone learned. Bakit kailangan gamitan ng dahas diba?. Kumbaga parang mga teacher na terror, sa tingin kaya nila lalo natuto ang bata?. I don’t think so. Because lahat yan pinagdaanan ko na. I graduated from highschool and college. And prove it na, na kapag ang teacher mo magaling magexplained at patient. Matututo siya. Hindi mo kailangan ipahiya sa harap ng ibang tao. This is how I feel, and I don’t need your opinion kung taliwas sa opinion ko. Wag na lang kayo magcomment. Ibinold ko pa. hehe. Kung ako ang magiging teacher mo siguro. Ako na ang pinaka “cool teacher you ever had.” Rock on!
