Abu Hasnayn Murtaza Khan graduated from the International Islamic University, Islamabad in June 2001 with BA Honours in Usool-ud-Din and has been actively involved in the field of da'wah for many years.

At present he is an Islamic Studies teacher in al-Noor Primary School , London . He is also a visiting khateeb at Al-Ansar Islamic Education Centre, Islamic Da'wah Centre and University of East London.

He has worked closely with numerous organisations and individuals to promote Islam and has translated and presented various seminars and lectures. He is involved in da'wah across the UK.

The first opening day in Muhammadyah elementary school is wonderful day for two teacher, Muslimah (Cut Mini) and Harfan (Ikranagara), and 9 students who live in Gantong village, Belintong. If the student in the school is less than 10, the school will be closed.

On that day, Harun is a special student who save them. And they are named Laskar Pelangi by Ibu Muslimah, who has unforgetable moments with them.

Video : US Soldiers Tortured Child in Guantanamo

Omar Khadr is a Canadian who is being held in Guantanamo Bay. He was a 15 year old child.

He has been in US custody since 2002 and has not yet been found guilty of anything.

Interrogation was released to the public. Khadr, very emotionally distraught, tries to explain and show the brutality he has received.

At one point in the interrogation, Khadr pulls off his orange prisoner shirt and shows the wounds he sustained in the firefight. He complains he cannot move his arms and says he had not received proper medical attention, despite requests.

"They look like they're healing well to me," the agent says of the injuries.

"No, I'm not. You're not here (at Guantanamo)," says Khadr, the son of an alleged al-Qaeda financier.

The agent later accuses Khadr of using his injuries and emotional state to avoid the interrogation.

"No, you don't care about me," Khadr says.

Khadr also tells his interrogator that he was tortured while at the US military detention centre at the Bagram air base in Afghanistan, where he was first detained after his arrest in 2002.

Later on in the tape, a distraught Khadr is seen rocking and moaning, his face in his hands. His family said he was calling out for his mother in Arabic, repeatedly crying "Ya Umi". His lawyers, listening to the same audio, said they believed he was calling out "Help me" but acknowledged they were unsure.

The inhabitants of Paradise are the Awliyaa of the Most Merciful and the denizens of the Fire are the Awliyaa of Shaytaan.

Essential for all to watch especially those who originate from the Indo-Pak region as many Muslims from this region seem to be oblivious to the anti-Islamic messages that India propogates through Bollywood.

This is the life story of a very controversial Muslim Afro-American leader Malcolm X who represented the anger and the struggle of Black Africans in 1960’s. Orphaned at a very early age, Malcolm and his seven siblings lived in abject poverty. Their mother was put in a mental institution and Malcolm and his brothers and sisters were separated and put in foster homes.
Malcolm was a very bright, intelligent student who always did well in his school. During eighth grade, he told his teacher that he wanted to become a lawyer. His teacher told him bluntly that such respectable professions were not possible for Negroes. He was greatly disillusioned and realized how his skin colour made him inferior in the land of white people.
He dropped out of school and entered a life of crime, gambling and drugs. He committed every possible sin and describes those years as living in a jungle where one is either the hunted or the hunter. After a burglary, he was sent to prison where he became a follower of Nation of Islam and its leader Elijah Muhammad. During his prison life he also discovered books and that changed him forever. He discovered the terrible atrocities committed by the white man in Africa, China and the sub-continent under the banner of Christianity but was in reality for the wealth that these lands possessed.
After being released from prison, he became a minister for Nation of Islam and for 12 years he preached against white people. He was in great demand as a speaker in elite universities both in America and abroad. His life took another turn when he performed Hajj. He realized that Nation of Islam was not the true Islam and broke away from it. He was consequently, assassinated at the age of 40.

THE ROAD TO GUANTáNAMO, made by internationally acclaimed director Michael Winterbottom and Mat Whitecross, tells the story of four friends who set off from Tipton in the English Midlands in September 2001 for a wedding and a holiday. Two and a half years later three of them returned home. Their story is told through a mixture of interviews with the men, news archive and recreation of their ordeal. Their journey took them from Konduz, where they were captured by the Northern Alliance, imprisoned in Sheberghan, then flown by the Americans to Kandahar.
From there they were taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where they were imprisoned in Camp X-Ray and Camp Delta for more than two years.
