It’s exactly what I’d want from a motion controller.

I’ve not be interested in the Wii – nor motion control in general – for the very reason that they have all so far been inaccurate and/or laggy.

Move’s accuracy and response times have really grabbed my attention, and while I’m still not 100% sold, I’ll be keeping a close eye on what kind of support the device gets.

If the right kind of games give the right kind of support – i.e. devs make use of the superior accuracy, and we don’t just get sloppy ports of games suited for the lowest common demonimator (and by that I mean the comparatively inaccurate nature of Wii/Natal) – then I’ll definitely be picking one up.

I’ll play this game, but it just won’t be the same without Lightning to play. She’s by far the best character in my opinion. I have trouble relating to these male characters since I’m female. Blah. Hope it’s good anyway.

Do we really need to be able to access our gmail/twiiter accounts via our PS3’s? Personally i have my phone with me most of the time and i just use that instead.

But other useful ‘apps’ could make sense but we already have ones that allow you display photo’s, look at music vids, watch iplayer etc, is there the demand for others? i’m not so sure…

This guy is good, he isnt childish like Reggie. Reggie can suck my (cricket) balls for all im concerned, its a very very good job that the wiis core market wont be on the internet reading about this kinda thing or they would see how bad nintendos boss people really are…

Shovelware. Absolutely, the phrase nails it perfectly.

The PS3 doesn’t need that much.
With so much functionality, much of it the same, appearing on different platforms and gadgets, it really makes sense to make sure the apps are on the most useful device. So like most people I keep control of what’s on my smartphone, PS3, laptops. The apps being where they will be used most conveniently and easiest to access.

Just because it can be done doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. That’s just crazy talk!

“No one wants the level of shovelware that the iPhone App Store has.” – indeed. But thousands of apps to choose from would be brilliant. For example: I spent part of the weekend trying to get Spotify and/or Last.fm to work somehow on my PS3. Basically, it was a waste of time. If Sony opened this app platform up, maybe we’d get native apps for those services.

There are dozens of other web services that I use daily that just dont’t fit on the PS3 (the browser is still almost totally unusable in my opinion). Having the opportunity to use Twitter, Gmail and other services on my PS3 via an app would really cement the machine’s place at the centre of my living room. Which is surely what Sony wants.

I suppose the Wakeboarding method is original amongst the many games like this out there, whether it’s boats, bikes, cars, ski’s snowboards, skateboards.

Unless it has something really unique I think it’s way overpriced and should sell for less than half the going rate

I think that a specific set of Hardcore games will benefit from the Move controller. I am sceptical about GT5 the move would lower it to the level of Mario Kart, they have a lot of third party wheel support so motion control seems really odd.

I am looking forward to its release and will be getting one for my FPS games and SoCom 4 when it releases, maybe they will do a bundle with the game?

Looks great from the screenshots… nice use of the unreal engine. I wonder when they estimate a release date, because it looks fairly well developed already… unless that’s just some first level or something. I’m getting bored waiting for co-op rpgs to come out.

lol – Divnich has hit a nail on the head – motion gaming can only go so far, or people will be required to actually be good at what they’re gaming to be successful, which would make it _much_ harder for many folk!
