Yeah, I’m not complaining about the extra content. It was free for me since I bought the game new, but there was a time when I would’ve been willing to pay for whole new packs… not anymore.

DICE fails to keep the multiplayer fresh. im dissapointed with this game in many ways, but it was still a good buy, and im still playing it.

Agrees with ya Echo – after all their talk about taking on MW2 for the online shooter crown, the number of maps/modes in the game is still less than MW2 at launch, with gameplay issues (AT mines being used to destroy stations in Rush) left unaddressed for months.

I also agree with Vich though – it’s still great to have something a little bit new. But DICE have (yet again) failed to have their actions match their words.

This is a shame, but after the buggy mess that was SOCOM:Confrontation, I think it’s the right thing to do – I’d much rather get a great game a bit later, than an average (or worse) game earlier. And I’m not sure it’ll be a huge factor for SOCOM – most old-school SOCOMers aren’t really keen on it, and SOCOM is about as un-casual a shooter as you’ll get on console – it’s unlikely (and in most cases unadvisable) that someone who’s never played a shooter before will start with SOCOM. Killzone 3 with move will be a bigger deal for drawing in new blood through the greater accessibility of Move.

In a lot of ways, Uncharted 2 has a level of balance that MW2 doesn’t. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have quite as much depth(shipping with only 7 maps was pretty disappointing).

It’s also been great to see how well Naughty Dog has supported the game with not only patches, but DLC maps, skins, trophies and new playlists.

Aye, MAG is great – while it has had it’s rough edges, for something that’s so new and groundbreaking, they’ve done a really good job, and I’ve had a great ride time playing it (and will continue to, at least until the next SOCOM comes out )
