EA Sports NHL11 is a fun game, but..

Here are a few of the bugs I’ve come across. I’ve put quite a few hours in, almost exclusively with the Hockey Ultimate Team mode.

I know it’s a little off topic from all the Ovechkin goals and hits you’re used to, but new clips are hard to find in the summer.

How is it a loss if the puck hasn’t been dropped?

Started the second round of the superstar level single player tournament, and EA servers booted me before the puck even dropped. I got the loss, knocked out of tourny, had my DNF modifier drop and had contracts expire. Against the CPU before a second of hockey was played.

Goalie rating problem

A lot of the time I get this, the rating doesn’t match the goalies at all.

I spent a +2 all, +3 alls on this goalie and his rating goes back to the untrained for some games.

I first noticed it when I had to burn through a bunch of training cards to get my team’s goalie rating to 80 for a certain tournament, even though both goalies averaged an 80+ rating.

Time wasted transferring lineups

You need to be able to use consumables on the players in your collection, not just your lineup.

It wastes too much time transferring players just so you can use the cards up.

Tournament glitches

In all my HUT packs thus far, I’ve yet to receive an Ovechkin card, or any of his linemates for that matter…have you?
