How is corporate media portraying the Occupy Movement? What ways can Independent media support and build with the Occupy Movement? Panelists will address the topic for 10 minutes each and we will open the discussion to include the audience. Facilitator: Klee Benally - Indigenous Action Media Panelists: Zoe Hammer is a scholar/activist and member of the faculty of Cultural & Regional Studies at Prescott College.  Her areas of teaching, research and activism include: prison abolition, border demilitarization, social justice journalism and media strategy development, labor justice, environmental politics, community organizing, and the politics of allyship.   Randall Amster, J.D., Ph.D., is the Graduate Chair of Humanities at Prescott College. He serves as Executive Director of the Peace & Justice Studies Association and as Contributing Editor for New Clear Vision.
