Yesterday, Friday 10 February 2012, I received an e-mail from Steve DuBos, a resident at the Ol' Soldiers' Home in Washington, D.C., informing me that a fellow resident and mutual friend, Wilfred Leo "Backpack Mac" McCarty, born in Nebraska on Monday 20 February 1924, had passed away at the age of eighty-eight.

Since Steve DuBos was the one who notified me, he's in the first picture in the slide show.

The photograph from Mauthausen Concentration Camp was donated by Mac to the archives of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

One of those liberated inmates was Simon Weisenthal.

Prior to moving here to the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi, I used to live in the Ol' Soldiers' Home in Washington, D.C., where Mac was one of my good friends.

We both lived on the Fourth Floor of the Sheridan Building, and frequently ate chow together in the mess hall.

He always wore his Purple Heart Medal, which he got when he was badly wounded in the Second World War during the Battle of the Bulge by shrapnel from a shell fired by a German 88mm gun.

After retiring from the United States Air Force, he wandered all over the globe, not as most travellers did, but by himself, well off the beaten path, sometimes hiking or camping, and seeing the remote little known sites.

He had a sister, whom I'd met on the FACEBOOK social networking web site, and I think he has relatives in Ireland, whom he would visit while on vacation, and/or exchange e-mails with.

I was sitting at my computer typing an e-mail when I heard the locomotive whistle.

So, I grabbed my camera and ran outside onto my balcony just in time to record this.

Two (02) CSX locomotives pull a mixed manifest freight train North on the old Louisville and Nashville Railroad tracks, just East of the crossing at Anniston Avenue, as they (probably) travel from New Orleans, Louisiana to Mobile, Alabama.

I recorded this at 1400 Hours on Thursday 09 February 2012, looking North from the balcony of my room on the third floor of the central tower of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi, using a hand held Kodak "Easy Share" Z710 zoom lens digital camera with 7.1 megapixels of resolution.

Greetings and Salutations to All my Kith and Kin and All the Ships in Outer Space:

Something unusual has been going on at my web site, "OUR ETERNAL STRUGGLE", since last night.

In the past several hours, I've had over FOUR HUNDRED(!) visits, and every one of those visits was to see one item in particular, "OLIVE GARDEN APOLOGIZES FOR BANNING AMERICAN FLAG".

Gosh, gee whillikers, I wrote that article way back on Columbus Day, Wednesday 12 October 2011!!!

So, why the sudden spurt of interest now?

Did something happen yesterday that I didn't see in the news?

A while back, one of the guys here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home got mad at me because of that article.

He's retired from that restaurant chain, and was afraid he'd lose his pension if they were forced out of business.

But, it's not like anybody ever pays any attention to stuff I write.

A lot of other folks wrote about it, too, and if you search the Internet, you can see the stuff that other folks wrote.

Not only that, but Olive Garden is in trouble over other issues, too, for I just now looked it up.

So, what's the big deal?

And, why NOW, so many months later?

If you go to my web site, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, and you'll see a revolving globe.

Each of the red dots represents a visitor, and current visitors are indicated by the flag of their country and the name of their town.

Of course, that count isn't accurate, because when I updated it, I forgot to update the count, which set it back to zero.

But, when I check the "STATISTICS" section on my blog, then I get a more accurate picture, but I don't think you're able to view that one, because I think it requires my e-mail address and password.

Anyway, I'm really surprised by all this activity, and I'm wondering why it's happening?

But, I think interest in that subject has now started to wane, for as time passes, I'm observing fewer hits on my web site.

By the way, yesterday evening, an eighteen year old man driving a pickup truck was hit by a freight train in Biloxi.

He survived, but was taken to the hospital for a minor(?) head injury.

How is it that people get hit by railroad trains?

I don't understand it.

It happens here over and over and over, and to me, it doesn't make any sense.

As I was typing this, I heard a train coming, so I grabbed my camera and ran out on my balcony to record it.

Yesterday, I composed another song for my Scottish clan, but I don't like it, so I'm going to either trash it, or do some more work on it.

PASSENGER TRAIN IN GULFPORT?

Here at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi, we normally only see freight trains pass by.

But, here was something a bit out of the ordinary!

I recorded this at approximately 1445 Hours Central Time on Monday 06 February 2012, looking North from the balcony of my room here on the third floor of the central tower at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi, using a hand held Kodak "Easy Share" Z710 zoom lens digital camera in video mode, with 7.1 megapixels resolution.

While the train appears to be going towards the East, I've been informed that those tracks actually go North.

I wonder if this was an office train, or a track inspection, or a private car?

Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center is preparing for a troop increase for mobilization and demobilization training through April.

About one thousand and eight hundred soldiers are expected from the Twenty-Seventh Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the New York Army National Guard.

Hey, I ain't no edjumicated genius, but I just had an idea.

You know how a lot of folks are worried about all those F.E.M.A. concentration camps?

Well, a lot of folks who live in major megalopolitan areas won't need to be rounded up by government forces, because they're already living inside a natural confinement area.

Yes, just like in the Hollywood movies, our biggest cities can become prisons.

How?

Simple (if my theoretical suspicions are correct).

Almost every city in America is completely encircled by a freeway, popularly known as a "beltway".

During the general panic of some sort of catastrophe, roads and highways will probably be inaccessible due to traffic jams, vehicle accidents, police roadblocks, and violent criminal gang activity.

So, all the government's military forces have to do is seal off all freeway on ramps, and nobody in the city will be able to leave, at least, not in a vehicle.

Here in Gulfport, Mississippi, there is no beltway encircling the city, but what occurs naturally is just as effective in restricting movement.

To our North, we have Interstate Ten, running East and West from Mobile, Alabama to New Orleans, Louisiana.

To our South is the Gulf of Mexico.

So, with the on ramps of I-10 blocked, almost the entire population of the Gulf Coast is effectively sealed in.

Yes, there's other roads that go North, and there's sundry waterways that can be navigated, but still, the majority, if not all, are generally trapped.

What about YOUR area?

Okay, I ain't no lawyer, so I reckon I'm a bit confused.

According to the Constitution of the United States of America, "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives."

So, where does the President of the United States of America get any authority to issue "Executive Orders"?

Is an Executive Order issued by a President of the United States of America a "LAW", equal to legislation enacted by Congress?

If it's illegal for the President to do that, then why doesn't the Supreme Court or the Congress do something to stop him?

If the President can enact laws by issuing an Executive Order, then why does Congress exist?

Shouldn't Congress enact legislation to nullify and repeal ANY and ALL executive orders issued by any President?

Anyway, here's a list of Executive Orders that I saw posted on BLUE'S BLOG, which he obtained from the AMERICAN FREE PRESS web site.

I don't know when these Executive Orders were issued, nor which President issued them.

But, scholars and legal experts can research it further, if any are interested or motivated, although I doubt any of them are.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into federal work brigades.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the postmaster general to run a national registration.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including ones in the commercial service.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, waterways and public storage.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions or crises.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

MY COMMENTARY ON
"TRIUMPH OF THE WILL"

I just finished watching a 1934 Nazi propaganda film, "TRIUMPH OF THE WILL", on cable television, and it has stimulated some personal observation.

First, the film was very well done, and I can readily sympathize with any young German, unemployed, impoverished, disillusioned, and without hope, living in a defeated nation plagued with violent crime, civil disorder, economic uncertainty, and harshly penalized by other nations.

Under those trying circumstances, it is little wonder that the majority of average German citizens would respond positively to the appeal generated by Adolph Hitler and National Socialism.

Secondly, what really bothers me, is what we Americans have become.

Whether it is called Nazism, Fascism, Communism, Marxism, Socialism, Democracy, or the New World Order, the resulting tyranny is the same.

Since the principles of tyranny are so similar throughout all periods of history and in every geographical clime, I prefer to designate all of these movements with just one name, i.e., the Satanic Conspiracy, because these various despotic tyrannies are universally in open rebellion against Almighty God, liberty, intelligence, and righteousness.

I find it ironic that barely half a century has passed since the United States fought a world war against Nazi Germany, while today our contemporary American society has enthusiastically embraced and acclaimed each and every one of Adolph Hitler's ideals.

As I list these items, I will only occasionally add an explanatory note.

I would assume that if you are able to read this message, then you are as cognizant as I am of current events.

The major difficulty in postulating these views is the age differential.

(As of Saturday 28 January 2012) I am sixty-six years old, and I can remember how radically different America used to be, just within my own lifetime.

But, younger people haven't any idea of what I'm talking about, because they have lived their entire lives knowing nothing other than the system under which we now live.

But, here is how we have emulated the Nazis:

01 - Total control by the federal government of all private enterprise.

Privately owned businesses are supervised and regulated by a number of government bureaucracies.

02 - Total control by the federal government of all personal income.

Financial institutions are legally required to cooperate with the federal government in reporting sources and dispositions of personal income.

03 - Total regulation and financial subsidies of agriculture, including market price controls.

04 - Dissolution of the traditional nuclear family.

Currently, almost all mothers (many of whom are unmarried) work outside the home, and children are tended in government regulated day care centers.

Even the United States Army has been ordered to provide chaplain services to groups engaged in witchcraft.

Much of the contemporary "New Age" ecology movement embraces ancient paganism.

Not only did the Nazi Party loathe all established churches, but Adolph Hitler and his lieutenants used the occult and Teutonic paganism to promote their Nazi agenda.

07 - Systematic executions of innocent human beings, i.e., abortion and euthanasia.

I don't even like the concept of the popular "Living Will".

Life is just too sacred.

Had he not signed a "Living Will", President Nixon could have been revived and his intellectual faculties restored, for his coma and death was due to an easily controllable brain hemorrhage.

08 - Acceptance and promotion of homosexuality and paedophilia.

Although the Nazis are accused of persecuting and liquidating homosexuals, many of the Nazis themselves are believed to have been practicing homosexuals and paedophiliacs.

Indeed, it is thought that this was one of the reasons behind the "Night of the Long Knives", when Hitler had his SA supporters arrested or murdered by his SS.

09 - Control of speech.

Today, we contemporary Americans are afflicted with the curse of "political correctness".

10 - Racial preferences and racial quotas.

I am personally resentful at being continually demonized because I am a white male with religious values, and I am angry that black people are permitted to use their so-called racial or ethnic heritage to justify ignorance, immorality, wickedness, and felonious activity.

11 - Gun control.

The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution was not intended for hunters, sportsmen, collectors, hobbyists, competitive target-shooters, or even personal protection from criminals, although each of those things are benefits.

The sole purpose of our constitutionally guaranteed unalienable right to keep and carry firearms is so we, the people, possess the means necessary for armed revolt against tyranny from our own government.

12 - Control of education.

Public schools are financed with government funds and regulated by government bureaucracies.

Students are indoctrinated with politically correct propaganda, and individual dissent and initiative is discouraged or suppressed.

The effect upon graduation are subliterate, socially conditioned alumni.

True academic objective learning is currently only available through home schooling and in some private institutions.

13 - Media control.

Isn't it interesting that all television channels, radio stations, and news periodicals seem to report the same items and issue nearly identical editorial opinions?

Even designated entertainment programs, such as situation comedies, always include a bit of socially approved propaganda within the script.

14 - Federal control of local police.

15 - Technical emulation of the Nazis.

These are just amusingly interesting minor coincidences, i.e., our United States interstate freeway system copies the German autobahn, and both were constructed for the same reason, to facilitate rapid military transport in time of war.

The M-60 machine gun is a carbon copy of the German machine gun used in the Second World War, and our United States Armed Forces now wear the "Fritz" style helmet worn by the Wermacht in World War Two.

If you really want to stretch the point, one might comment about the current proliferation of black uniforms in police agencies.

What is truly horrifying about all this is that it has not been imposed at gunpoint (with the exception of forced racial integration), but has been hysterically demanded by the overwhelming majority of our population.

So, now what?

DISCOVERY AT WAL-MART

I accidentally discovered something when shopping last night(?) at Wal-Mart.

I like going there during the wee small hours, because there's fewer people, and so, it's a lot less stressful, and easier to find a nice parking spot for my full sized four wheel drive pickup truck.

Because I'm a lonely old guy, and I've been alone most of my life, I habitually talk to myself, just like a crazy person.

Yep, that's me, walking around talking to myself, totally, absolutely, utterly INSANE!!!

However, thanks to the marvels of our modern technology, I've discovered I can get away with it.

With a Blue Tooth device stuck in my ear, folks think I'm not crazy after all, but that I'm merely talking to somebody on my cell phone, just like any normal, sane person.

Yes, that ruse even works when I forget and leave my cell phone in the cab of my pickup truck, which is what happened last night.

Neat, huh?

I'm walking around Wal-Mart in the wee hours, talking to myself, wearing a Blue Tooth in my ear, but with no cell phone.

"They're coming to take me away - - - !!!"

Well, I reckon it's mox nix, for nobody's likely to mess with me, because physically, I'm a rather large guy, with a full set of bushy whiskers, and I'm NEVER seen without my trusty shillelagh.

Of course, we all remember the widely accepted conventional folk wisdom that a man is really only "psychotic" as long as he doesn't have any money.

However, an insane individual who has money can be forgiven their human foibles, for folks who have money are considered to be "eccentric".
