Signs Of A Cheating Wife

Men are not the only “villians” in the infidelity game. Nope! Wives and girlfriends are fast learning the ropes when it comes to cheating.

As of today, the top searches on the subject are:

“cheating wife” – 550,000
“cheating husband” – 201,000

Hmmm…what does that tell you?

Maybe men are more suspicious than women are? I doubt it.

Maybe men just need more help is spotting the “signs” than women do? Possibly.

or…

Maybe ladies, it’s time to quit playing the ‘wounded victim’ game and fess up? Not likely!

We still prefer to depict infidelity as a “man’s sport”.

So, guys, what are the signs of a cheating wife?

The list below is not conclusive. If your wife or girlfriend exhibits any of these behaviors, it is not a “written in stone” indication of infidelity. Consider them a “wake-up call” to you.

A renewed interest in her appearance.

Did you notice the new clothes?
Sexy new undergarments?
The new hairstyle?
The freshly manicured fingers and toes?
The new perfume?
The weight loss? She’s been going to the gym you know…you didn’t?

See, that’s the thing, you got complacent about your wife and stopped looking, but someone else is!

She spends more time away from home.

Have you wondered why the sudden interest in taking night classes?
How about working late? You did notice that because supper was late right?
Does a “night out with the girls” ring any bells? You were busy watching football, so what?

A change in her overall mood.

She may have become quiet and broody. When this happens, she is often evaluating all of the negative aspects of your relationship in an effort to justify her new one.
On the other hand, she may become happier, more outgoing and attentive to you. And sex? Wow! When did she learn to give a blow job like that? That’s a good thing right? She spends much time on the computer, always with an extra browser open to switch to just in case you walk in the room. You probably won’t though, you are busy drinking a beer and watching the baseball game.
“Insomnia” is treated with web-surfing not television. Chat rooms and secret email accounts are her main focus.

She may have developed some new interests.

Since when does she like going to the theatre?
Shrimp scampi and rice pilaf, for supper? What is that? Where are the meat and potatoes?
And what’s up with the 101 romantic love songs CD? You thought she liked country.

She may have developed some “disinterests” as well.

Mainly, in having sex with you. Well you weren’t getting much before you say, but now, there’s none! A woman will often try to be “faithful” to her lover.
She doesn’t show much interest in planning for the future anymore. Her mind is on a whole other future.
She doesn’t bug you anymore about being away too much. Your nights “out with the boys” are perfectly okay with her. What’s up?

“What’s up” is that somewhere along the way, the two of you lost touch with each other. A communication break down and complacency has led her to believe that you do not value her anymore.

When was the last time that you actually had a conversation with your wife?
When was the last time that you made her feel that her opinion mattered?
When was the last time that you really looked at her?
When was the last time that you asked her how her day went?
When was the last time that you paid her a compliment?
When was the last time that you said “thank you”?
When was the last time that you took her somewhere special?
When was the last time that you bought her flowers?
When was the last time that you told her “I Love You”?

Now take a look at yourself. Are you the same man she married? Are you still that handsome, outgoing, fun guy she fell in love with? No?

Here’s a tip…Never take what you have for granted!

Have you considered what life would be like without your wife? Do you think she may be cheating on you? Do you still love her? Do you still want her?

Then shut off the television, leave the beer in the fridge and go for a nice, healthy walk. When you wife gets home tonight, take a good look at her. If you still like what you see…tell her!

Why is there such a lack of commitment in relationships today? Think about it. Cheating is nothing new…we’ve been doing it since the beginning of time. Perhaps, just not with such brazen abandonment! We cheated but, we were “committed” cheaters. We stuck it out. We made our beds and we lay in them.

Back in the “old days” cheaters seldom left their spouses. Wives often “stood by their men” while those same men continued to support their families in spite of their wandering ways.

Why?

Women needed the support of the men and the men needed the same things that they have always needed…to be looked up to and admired as strong providers and…more sex!

But boy, how the times are changing!

Many women today are confident and financially stable on their own. They are no longer dependant on men as providers. They can take care of themselves. In short, women don’t have to put up less than satisfying sex or men’s infidelity anymore.

Now that’s a whole new ball game!

Today, women may not need men…but they do still want them.

What do women want with men if not to be providers? Sex! Yes, women are fast learning something that men have long since mastered – the art of having indiscriminate sex without emotional attachment.

Whoa! Talk about turning the tables! Suddenly, all of the control is not squarely in the men’s court anymore.

So now you have both men and women out there “testing the merchandise” before purchase. Fair enough.

If you are old enough to remember the old “no sex until marriage” rule, I am thinking you have probably experienced some disappointment in your love life if you followed it.

It was a damned stupid, self imposed rule if you ask me. Kind of like buying a pig in a poke. Why in the world would anyone want to commit to someone that they had never seen naked much less been intimate with? I’m sorry to be crass here, but, I’m a girl and hey, size does matter. If I suddenly unwrapped my four and a half inch wedding present, I would be disappointed to say the least! I might even try to evoke my “30 Day Buyer’s Remorse Clause”!

The trouble with today’s “try it before you buy it” scenario is that it doesn’t seem to be helping people to choose more compatible partners. The divorce rate continues to climb in spite of our new found freedom.

As more and more emphasis is put on sexual satisfaction we seem to be forgetting that there has to be something besides lust to hold a couple together. There has to be some common ground or there is no relationship. Without shared interests, trust and dare I say it…respect…there can be no love. Without real love, no couple can survive.

Sadly, we seem to act mostly on impulse these days, basing relationship potential on physical chemistry and little else. If it feels good, it must be love. If suddenly we just don’t “feel it” anymore…we move on and on and on…

While I do strongly believe in checking out sexual compatibility with a potential partner before committing, I think there has to be a meeting of the minds too. Those lust hormones can override every ounce of your common sense and are really no substitute for getting to know someone.

Perhaps we should go for coffee first?

OMFG! Guys farting – now that’s just plain sexy – isn’t it?

I mean ladies, don’t you find it hard to control the “tigress” in you when your man ever-so-not-discreetly lifts a leg, points a finger and stimulates at least 3 of your 5 senses?

Doesn’t it absolutely drive you wild?

Shit, it’s right up there with wearing shorts, black knee socks and flip flops in my book…

NOT!!!

Personally, I really hate it when my guy farts in bed, particularly when the sound leaves you questioning the solidity of the fart. It really ruins a nice, crisp, freshly laundered bed for me! Since he didn’t do this early on in the relationship, I do know that he is capable of controlling this bodily function if he chooses to. However, in spite of my protests, he continues…to him, it’s funny.

It seems to be a universal opinion that farts are funny. Guys certainly find other men farting funny. I agree. The occasional ‘left-cheek-sneak’ can be quite hilarious when it is unexpected and not something that happens every 5 minutes – an accident that caught you off-guard. Happens to the best of us once in a while. But tooting your horn whenever and wherever just to relive the pressure…not funny. Take some Beano!

Now before you tell me that I am just being a prude, check out this article: My Married Life: In Defense of (Non) Fart Club. Interesting is the fact that it is written by a guy who actually doesn’t approve of farting in front of his wife. Even more interesting are the comments that follow.
