This has been proven to be one of the most effective and safest ways to get rid of fat because it uses the body’s natural fat burning processes to do the job.” MUST SEE: ProbioSlim Named Editor’s Choice Award Finalist by SupplySide CPG Editor’s Choice Awards “Fat oxidation is similar to thermogenesis, but it is different in key ways. It gets rid of fat as well by burning it up but it actually converts the fat into energy or muscle during this process. The fat is used up quickly as it enters the body, but it is also put to good use. The body would do this on its own if someone were to exercise vigorously, but the great tea extract ensures that the fat is able to be oxidized without the need for physical exertions. As the fat enters the body, it gets turned into usable energy that invigorates the user.” Researched Reviews Report Also Addresses Important Consumer Questions. Is ProbioSlim a Scam? (No, ProbioSlim Is Not A Scam) According to the product manufacturer: Unlike other probiotics, the ingredient LactoSpore forms its own spores that protect the release of probiotics until it has safely passed through the harsh environment of the stomach and reached the colon. This prevents stomach acid from killing off the beneficial microorganisms and counteracting ProbioSlim’s effects. Is ProbioSlim Safe? According to the product manufacturer: Unlike some extreme diet pills, ProbioSlim carries no risk of harmful side effects. How fast will ProbioSlim work for me? According to the product manufacturer: Supplements like ProbioSlim take time to build up in your system, but you may notice some benefits starting in just days. We recommend, however, that you use ProbioSlim for at least three months to experience the full benefits. Must See: Critical New Info About ProbioSlim Is Now In Researched Reviews Also Reports on How ProbioSlim Works: Mr. Kingston proclaims, “The nutritional supplement ProbioSlim works in numerous ways to benefit the body. It has been shown to reduce weight in people who have not been able to reduce weight through other means. When those with serious weight loss goals hit a wall in their efforts to slim down, many of the things they try may not be working. Their pills, shakes, exercise routines and other dieting methods may not be providing the kinds of effects they are looking for. This happens to many people, and they may feel like there is little they can do about it.” “ProbioSlim works in several different ways to not only improve the overall health of the body but can also reduce weight effectively. And it does all of this while managing to produce no major side effects. It has been shown to be one of the safest weight loss and probiotic supplements available.” MUST SEE: ProbioSlim: “Don’t Buy This Until You See This First” Researched Reviews Analysis on the Benefits of ProbioSlim: Ms.

| Rheumatoid | Food & Nutrition / Misc. Posted: Monday, November 9, 2015, 7:00 AM SUNDAY, Nov. 8, 2015 (HealthDay News) — Your diet may influence your chances of developing rheumatoid arthritis, two new studies suggest. The results show “that a healthy diet may prevent [rheumatoid arthritis] development, and our team is interested in conducting further studies to look at why diet is associated with this risk,” said lead investigator Dr. Bing Lu, an assistant professor of medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. One study included nearly 94,000 American women, aged 25 to 42, who provided information about their diet every four years between 1991 and 2011. During that time, nearly 350 of them developed rheumatoid arthritis. Those who ate a typical North American diet — high in red and processed meat, refined grains, fried food, high-fat dairy and sweets — were more likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis than those who ate a diet high in fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, poultry and fish, the study found. In the other study, the same research team analyzed other data from the women’s study and found that following the Dietary Guidelines for Americans can lower the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis. Those guidelines are intended to help people make informed food choices and be physically active to maintain a healthy weight and reduce their risk of chronic disease. Rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disorder, is characterized by pain, stiffness and swelling in multiple joints. The cause is unknown, and it can lead to joint damage and deformity. More women develop it than men. The studies were to be presented Saturday at the American College of Rheumatology annual meeting in San Francisco. Until now, evidence for diet playing a role in the development of rheumatoid arthritis has been inconsistent and conflicting, Lu said in a college news release. “The prior studies based on individual nutrients and food groups may not have enough power to detect small effects,” Lu explained. However, the new research only finds an association between healthy eating and lower odds for rheumatoid arthritis. It doesn’t establish a direct cause-and-effect relationship. Also, data and conclusions presented at meetings should be considered preliminary until published in a peer-reviewed medical journal. More information The U.S. National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases has more about rheumatoid arthritis . — Robert Preidt SOURCE: American College of Rheumatology, news release, Nov.

Heinrich started a garden at the school four years ago. “We just started putting seeds in the ground and realized that we saw magic happen,” she said. Recently students picked carrots that they planted from the garden. “You got a carrot way to go, William,” she yelled when outside with the kids. Fourth graders have been working in the garden since first grade. Heinrich said they still remember things they learned three years ago because of the hands on experience they get from working outside. “We can see the impact that it has on their academic portion,” Heinrich continued, “but we’re also seeing that it is a life long skill that we’re teaching, being healthy and actively engaged.” Each grade learns through the garden in different ways. Whether it’s learning about planting, photosynthesis, animals and bugs in their habitat, leaf structure, or levers and pulleys; It all connects. It’s also allowing them to eat more than they they’re eating healthy. “They’re trying cherry tomatoes for Heaven’s Sake! Three years ago they would have never touched that in a million years,” Heinrich explained. The Nutrition Services Director of the Wausau School District, Lee Nielsen, has been on board with the gardening program and the many other healthy eating programs in the district. “The important thing is that we get these kids started early trying new vegetables or fruits, that they may not be accustomed to,” Nielsen said. Nielsen hopes to expand the gardening program in the near future. While it may be nearing winter, the garden will have to take a halt until spring. But Heinrich believes that what the students learned and will continue to learn is life long.
Use your key for the next article Colon Cleanse Supplements Or Surgery images.google.com Anyone who has a desire to improve digestive health can benefit from the results of colon cleansing. Some digestive situations can pose the recommendations of surgery from certain health care providers. Before making the choice between surgery and colon cleansing there are some things that you should first take into consideration. Although surgery is required to correct some medical conditions, there are others which can be aided by the use of lifestyle change and purging the toxins from the body. Impacted colon This condition is serious and can be life threatening. In some cases, emergency surgery is required to prevent other conditions from developing as complications. Peritonitis is a life threatening condition that can result when the surrounding areas of the intestines either become inflamed or infected, or can result in serious disability or death. In serious cases, it is recommended to get the opinion of a qualified health care provider, and in addition to this, a second qualified opinion if you are not comfortable with the first one. In some cases, when the blockages are not severe enough to require immediate or emergency actions, colon cleansing can help to clear the debris from the colon and to restore a healthier evacuation process within the bowels. In some cases, giving the digestive system this helpful jump start is all that is required to restore effective digestive functions. Consultations with qualified staff When seeking the help of hydro colon professionals, make sure that the center you consult with is staffed with qualified and certified professionals. Discuss your case with them to ensure that they are comfortable with your current health situation and that they have the knowledge and expertise to successfully deal with your unique situation. If they recommend against it, your safest bet may be to go with the advice of your health care provider. In the case that they are comfortable with the safety of the procedure, you can be more comfortable with moving ahead with the colon cleansing . Benefits of colon cleansing over surgery When you have the all clear to proceed with colon cleansing from qualified health care providers, colon cleansing can help to remove waste products from the colon. In addition to this, it serves as a detoxification for the body because it helps to dislodge fecal matter that may have been adhering to the walks of the colon as well as helping to purge toxins from the liver, kidneys and pancreas. Colon cleansing is a safe procedure for most people, and providers fewer risks for the majority than surgical procedures. When done correctly by highly trained staff in sterile conditions, colon cleansing can be a useful alternative to surgery as there is less chance of contracting an infection. It can also help to improve health issues prior to surgery, if this is still recommended. Different types of colon cleansing There are three major types of colon cleansing that are available. Hydro colon cleansing therapy, herbal colon cleansing, and a combination of the two. Hydro therapy consists of irrigating the colon with a solution of warm water several times and flushing out debris that has collected over time, until the colon is clear. Herbal colon cleansing makes use of supplements such as digestive advantage , Colon Blow, Detox 7 and many more that provide a mild laxative effect and helps the body to flush debris through the digestive system. The combination therapy consists of hydro colon cleansing that uses an herbal infusion to more thoroughly clean the area. Conclusion There are definite benefits to taking advantage of colon cleansing over surgery whenever possible. It is the safest alternative because there is far less chance of infection and complications. This option, however; should only be considered when it is approved by a health care provider and qualified members of the colon hydrotherapy staff. In some cases, surgery may be the best alternative, particularly if there is a risk of serious health complications or death.

In the 2004 documentary, director and star Morgan Spurlock spent a month eating only food from the chain, with no regard for calories or nutrition, and he always accepted the offer to supersize his order. The results werent pretty: Spurlocks cholesterol levels rocketed, and his waistband ballooned. Although weve gone through many cycles of trends and business models in the fast-food industry in the decade sincefrom McDonalds selling its stake in Chipotle in 2006 to McDonalds trying to be Chipotle in 2015the chain seems not to have moved on: With its new 20-minute mini-doc, 540 Meals, McDonalds has finally found a rebuttal. The title comes from John Cisnas 180 days eating only at McDonalds after which, the Iowa high school teacher says, he had lost 56 pounds. The experiment, which Cisna worked on with his students, earned him his 15 minutes of viral media fame and a new life as a paid brand ambassador for McDonalds. That relationship isnt disclosed in 540 Meals, which goes to great lengths to remind viewers that its subject is not McDonalds but critical skills and proper choices. Cisna explains that of course you would have a better health outcome if you ate a 2,000-calorie diet and kept track of the intake ofcertain nutrients. The only difference between that and what we did was that we had a smaller grocery store, he says in the film. Our grocery store was McDonalds. Its the brands version of the soda-industry contention that exercise, not diet, is the solution to the obesity crisis . Yet, in the Teachers Discussion Guide that McDonalds put together for 540 Meals, which The Lunch Trays Bettina Elias Siegel linked to in her write-up of the film, teachers are encouraged to use the video to balance out current food and nutrition curriculum, such as plans that incorporate Morgan Spurlocks Super Size Me,to demonstrate how different choices contribute to different outcomes. Siegel does a thorough job of debunking the nutritional message of 540 Mealsin short, an overweight, middle-aged man has different dietary needs than a teenagerbut the messaging of the video is more about the right to choose (to eat fast food) than about the nitty-gritty of nutrition. Theres nothing wrong with fast food. Theres nothing wrong with McDonalds, said Cisna, a paid brand ambassador. And whats really amazing, that people find unbelievable, is probably 95 percent of every day, I had french fries. I love french fries, and that was a great part of it, he said. Choicethat, in short, is McDonalds decade-late rebuttal to Super Size Me. To judge by recent sales figures, consumers are choosing to dine elsewhere . Related stories on TakePart:

The funding is available to local, state and national organizations to test incentive strategies to help SNAP participants better afford healthy foods. This is the second round of awards to be made under the Food Insecurity Nutrition Incentive (FINI) program created by the 2014 Farm Bill. USDAs National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) will administer the grants. “Eating healthy foods makes a difference to an entire familys health and ability to learn, work and enjoy life,” said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. “These investments are moving the dial for families in need and expanding the market for Americas fruit and vegetable producers. The FINI program scales up public-private collaboration to develop innovative strategies that make healthy fruits and vegetables more accessible to families around the country, part of our strategy to improve the diet and health of all Americans.” FINI connects stakeholders from distinct parts of the food system and fosters partnerships to improve the nutrition and health status of lower-income households. These resources will allow partnerships like these to help even more families. Funded projects will test community based strategies that contribute to our understanding of how best to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables by SNAP participants through incentives at the point of purchase, supported by efficient benefit redemption technologies, that inform future efforts. Applications are due December 16, 2015. NIFA will host a webinar for applicants on October 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., EDT at http://nifa-connect.nifa.usda.gov/finip/. Applications are sought in three categories: (1) FINI pilot projects (awards not to exceed $100,000 in one year); (2) multi-year, community-based FINI projects (awards not to exceed $500,000 over no more than four years); and (3) multi-year, FINI large-scale projects (awards of $500,000 or more over no more than four years). Priority is given to projects that: Maximize the share of funds used for direct incentives to participants Provide incentives that are most likely to directly and efficiently increase the purchase and consumption of eligible fruits and vegetables by SNAP participants Test innovative or promising strategies that would contribute to our understanding of how best to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables by SNAP participants and inform future efforts Improve or develop innovative benefit redemption systems that can be replicated or scaled Use direct-to-consumer marketing Demonstrate a track record of designing and implementing successful nutrition incentive programs that connect low-income consumers and agricultural producers Provide locally- or regionally-produced fruits and vegetables, especially culturally-appropriate fruits and vegetables for a target group of consumers Are located in underserved communities, particularly Promise Zones and StrikeForcecommunities FINI is a joint effort between NIFA and USDAs Food and Nutrition Service, which oversees SNAP and has responsibility for evaluating the impacts of the incentive projects. Funding for the FINI program is authorized by the 2014 Farm Bill. The Farm Bill builds on historic economic gains in rural America over the past five years, while achieving meaningful reform and billions of dollars in savings for taxpayers. Since enactment, USDA has made significant progress to implement each provision of this critical legislation, including providing disaster relief to farmers and ranchers; strengthening risk management tools; expanding access to rural credit; funding critical research; establishing innovative public-private conservation partnerships; developing new markets for rural-made products; and investing in infrastructure, housing and community facilities to help improve quality of life in rural America. For more information, visitwww.usda.gov/farmbill. SNAPthe nations first line of defense against hungerhelps put food on the table for millions of families experiencing hardship. The program has never been more critical to the fight against hunger. Nearly half of SNAP participants are children, and 42 percent of participants live in households in which at least one adult is working but still cannot afford to put food on the table. SNAP benefits provided critical assistance to millions who lost their jobs during the Great Recession. For many, SNAP benefits provide temporary assistance, with the average new applicant remaining on the program 12 months. NIFA invests in and advances agricultural research, education, and extension and seeks to make transformative discoveries that solve societal challenges.
What makes ginger so helpful? Ginger has anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer and antioxidants activities, as well as a small amount of analgesic property. I recommend boiling one cup of water and using pure ginger root and chopping up in small pieces. For additional flavor, add one small cube of brown sugar and make a soothing tea. For best result, drink first thing in the morning on a empty stomach. Onions and Garlic Research shows that onions and garlic are among the richest source of flavonoids plant chemicals and fight inflammation in rheumatic conditions. Garlic cloves contain plant chemicals that shut down inflammatory pathways in ways similar to ibuprofen. Onions have a wealth of health benefits they are anti-allergic, anti-histaminic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidants. Onions are also beneficial for the following: Lower Risk of Cancer Bones, Digestive Tract, Diabetes Prevention and more Water Has it occurred to you that you are thirsty? By time you get the desire to drink water, you are already dehydrated. That thirst is your body calling for re-hydration. Your body is composed of 60 percent water. How important is drinking water? Without drinking water you will die. We can live a few days without water, maybe a week. We can live much longer without food. Prevents cancer: staying hydrated can reduce risk of colon cancer by 45%, bladder cancer by 50% and possibly reduce breast cancer risk as well. Be less cranky: Research says dehydration can affect your mood and may cause you to be confused Perform Better: Proper hydration contributes to increase athletic performance. Our muscles tissues are composed of 75 percent water. Dehydration can lead to weakness, fatigue, dizziness, cramping and electrolyte imbalances Have less joint pain: Drinking water can reduce pain in your joints by keeping the cartilage soft and hydrated. This is how glucosamine helps reduce joint pain, by aiding in cartilages absorption of water. Feed your body: Water is essential for the proper circulation of nutrients in the body. When we are dehydrated we just cant get around as well. How much water should you drink? Drink half your body weight in ounces of water (if you weigh 200 pounds, drink 100 ounces of water each day) If you participate in daily physical activities drink an additional 8oz of water for every 20 minutes of physical activities. Be sure to drink water throughout the day to avoid dehydration. The benefits of drinking lukewarm or warm water: Drink room temperature or warm water: For optimal health drink warm water instead of cold to help slow down your heart rate and decrease body temperature. Relieves pain: A cup of warm water can soothe your headache or any other joint pain. Heat improves circulation and relaxes nerves and muscles while relieving stress and tension Improves circulation: Do you suffer with soreness and stiffness in the morning? This is related to poor circulation and a slight decrease in heart rate.

While this seems like a vicious cycle, Will Wesch of Novus Medical Detox Center says that an increase in education on opioids can help break it. Novus Medical Detox 8 hours ago Content preferences Done NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla., Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — A 2014 study conducted by the Workers Compensation Research Institute analyzed 264,000 claims across 25 states and found that 65% to 85% of injured workers in most states received narcotic painkillers, a startling find which corroborates reports that opioid use is on the rise. Quest Diagnostics conducted a study of 5.5 million workers and found a more than 40% increase in positive tests for opiates from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, drug tests conducted post-accident tested positive for opiates four times more than drug tests conducted pre-employment. (2)Will Wesch, Director of Admissions for Novus Medical Detox Center , cautions against the dependency on dangerous and addictive opioids citing the fact that opioids have the tendency to impair workers from doing their job. Photo – http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20151002/273442LOGO Opioids (e.g. oxycodone, morphine) are prescribed as pain relievers, and can have a negative effect on a worker’s ability to carry out his or her job as side effects include drowsiness and nausea. According to a poll conducted by the National Safety Council, nearly half of opioid users engaged in an unsafe activity while on the drug: 39% of users reported going to work; 35% of users drove a vehicle, and 14% of users operated heavy machinery. (1) Wesch cautions that employees using opioids should not engage in safety-sensitive work, as the side effects may impair that employee’s ability to complete the task safely. He urges both employers and employees to become educated on the risks of opioid painkillers; employers need to take a proactive stance in combating substance abuse in the workplace to protect the health and productivity of their workforce, he adds. “Random drug testing may help deter personnel from abusing prescription medications,” says Wesch. “In addition to testing for the most commonly used drugs, employers should test for drugs including opiates, oxycodone, methadone and amphetamines; it’s also important to implement a policy that informs workers which drugs are prohibited and of the consequences of using those drugs.” Wesch also notes that companies should provide access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in order to assist those employees who need help with substance abuse. EAPs are employee benefit programs offered by many employers and are intended to help employees deal with personal problems that may have negative impact on their job performance, health and well-being. The availability of confidential EAP services and referrals to qualified detox or drug rehab programs can encourage employees to seek substance abuse treatment without fear of reprisals. “EAPs need to be aware of the problem of opioid addiction so that they can refer addicted employees to the right programs for help,” says Wesch. “The more the problem is understood, the closer we are to finding a solution.” Novus Medical Detox Center has helped many workers get their lives and careers back without the use of stimulants and other substances. Novus Medical Detox Center specializes in creating a personalized treatment regimen for each patient in order to reduce the risks attached to drug withdrawal. Many patients are able to complete their detox program in less than two weeks, at which time they may be referred to other drug rehab and support programs, if warranted.
