As Holly was waiting for her moment to see Dan for their “first moment,” it was totally clear just how much love she has for Dan. As she waited, every second must have felt like hours, and as a few small tears fell from her eyes the whole world could see that she was fully and completely in-love.

The love continued into the ceremony and even the reception as Holly and Dan celebrated their new marriage together as husband and wife. I would like to wish Holly and Dan all the best wishes and to say that it was truly a special day that I was happy to share with you both. Congrats!

Mill City Museum Wedding, January 2009

Terra and Jesse had a Minnesota wedding ceremony at The American Swedish Institute. The couple had already had one ceremony in Chicago but since they had friends and family in Minnesota, they wanted to celebrate twice.
The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony at the front of the Swedish mansion. The reception was a garden party where guest could mingle and enjoy the wonderful grounds of the institute. Guest were also invited to look around and take a tour of the inside of the mansion which was built in 1929. Although photography is not allowed inside the building itself, we were able to capture many great photos of Terra and Jesse around the courtyard and the gardened lawn. It was truly a beautiful celebration.

Connie and Dan’s wedding was full of fun and funniness. Not the least of these funny moments was when Dan asked us to take a picture of him and Rocky. Yes, that’s right, Rocky Balboa. No it wasn’t the real thing, it was a cardboard cut stand up Rocky. Rocky got his fair share of photo
After a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Mary’s, the wedding party headed out around town for some photos. Of course we couldn’t miss a photo opportunity with the local Dala Horse! The reception was a party all night long as friends and family enjoyed live music by the amazing 69 Cents band. Also an extra treat was a cookie bar filled with several verities of homemade cookies! Congrats Connie and Dan!

Andrea had always wanted to meet her future husband at church so it seems like a special kind of miracle that David and Andrea did in fact meet at Life Church. Soon after Andrea started attending Life Church the couple started dating and shortly after that, they were engaged!

It was easy to see that the couple planned the wedding together. They both love the color red so they knew right away that red was going to be the color of their wedding platelet. They also both share a love relationship with chocolate chip cookies so it was a given that their guest favors were just that. They also wanted to make sure that both of their favorite flavors of cake were at the wedding. David’s is white cake and Andrea’s is chocolate. As cliché as it sounds, they really are a match made in heaven.

A highlight of the day was when we had a mini photo shoot of Andrea and her bridesmaids and family at Andrea’s parents beautiful lake house. Although it was mid-day and the sun was shinning brightly, we took some fun shots of Andrea in the backyard with the lake as the backdrop.

Red turned out to be the perfect color to compliment the décor at the Lafayette Club. The reception site looked gorgeous with all the red flowers and huge chandeliers. On a more personal note, the chocolate cookies were scrumptious! Congratulations Andrea and David!

The day started early and rainy as Denise and her bridesmaids got their hair done at JoNova Salon. David had been keeping an eye on the weather radar because there was the potential of some major severe storms coming through later in the afternoon. We thought it ironic that there was a large risk of a tornado touching down within 25 miles of where Denise and Anthony’s outdoor wedding would be taking place that day since we both have a love for storm chasing. When all was said and done, a tornado did indeed touch down in Plymouth, MN less then 25 miles from the wedding site!

While tornado and thunderstorm warnings were issued not far from us, we enjoyed a hot, humid day. The humidity was high enough that the dance floor at the reception was kept moist with water the entire evening! The wedding ceremony was a gorgeous outdoor event that overlooked the Mississippi river and the reception was a party late into the night. Congratulations Denise and Anthony!
