The bill for repair is around £2000, which is good because I will be getting £2000 exactly from my insurance company (E-Sure). I had to fight for a good month to get the money because they was trying to give me £1400 to start with and I was having none of it. It didn’t help that the person who crashed into me was insured with the same company.

Anyway I have the car back and £2000 is on route to me so repairs will be coming soon.

Review

This is a great little iPhone app that will no doubt bring thousands of people hours and hours of fun.

It lets you take a picture with your camera or use an image from your camera roll, then turn specific parts colour and the rest B&W. Check out the images below to get the general idea of what to do (it’s pretty easy).

I will twitter out more images for at least a week with the #colorsplash hash tag. After that I will probably get bored of it.

Buy it

If this was 59p I would say snap it up straight away, at £1.19 I would say think twice before purchasing it. It’s a decent app but if you watch what you buy it might not be worth the £1+ pricing. That said I will no doubt be twittering a few ColorSplashed pics over the next couple of weeks.

First delivery - Hotpoint Fridge Freezer

We did spend a good few weeks visiting every store we could find to look for the right freezer. Height, Space, Fridge and Freezer share and more they was all deciding factors.

Once we had a few model numbers, I decided to check them out on google. This made me decide that the Hotpoint was the best choice.

I have now had the fridge freezer for about 2 weeks and very happy with it. Compared to the last one we had it’s a god send. Probably to do with the damn loud buzzing noise it would give off all night.

Well we have had the cooker for less than a week and already you can see the difference in cooking times. Not to mention how quick the hob can heat up.

This one does have a negative point though and that is cleaning. Because of the material used it looks like it’s dirty all the time, even when you clean it you can see the smears on it.

I have had the telly for around 10 days now and can honestly say that I’m very happy with the results. I was a little dubious about buying a TV that I had only seen on the shop floor and also only a SKY HD signal when viewing it. But I was pleasantly surprised when I got it home and plugged it in.

I have given a little overview of the TV picture covering various input signals.

Normal TV
As expected the TV signal is not the greatest and on some programs is very noticable, damn right unwatchable if you ask me. Thankfully I dont watch any TV these days, if I do really want to watch something then I will download it and stream it via the PS3 (which works lovely on the TV by the way).

HD Signal
No problems at all. Pictures is close to perfect.

Playstation 3
Well at the moment I am playing two games (Fifa 09/COD World At War). Nothing to complain about at all. Fast action football works fine and Call of Duty quick turns and fast paced action runs fine. I was expecting Call of Duty to ghost ever so slightly, but it doesn’t. I had to play a good hour or two to make sure and I can say it works lovely.

Blu-Ray
What else can I say? The picture is close to perfect. I purchased Planet Earth (Blu-Ray) specifically for testing and of course watching, on this TV. I will say that you get the occasional blurring on fast moving action packed scenes. But! it’s only noticeable if your looking for it. It did not under any circumstance ruin the viewing.

I personally think that twitterific is a great Twitter client for the iPhone. But after a twitter from Stephen Fry recommending Tweetie as a good iPhone client I thought it best I give it a go.

Just going by this list you dont need me to tell you that Tweetie has some amazing features, but what makes it stand out from the crowd is it brings all them great features together.

The most important feature for me is that Tweetie can ‘Navigate reply chains’.
To help you understand, I follow quite a few people (yes some celebrities) and sometimes they will reply to people I don’t follow. Well Tweetie adds a link ‘in reply to @name’ so that you can view that tweet.

So to put it simply… Tweetie is the best and most highly featured Twitter iPhone client at present.

Basically twitpic is an easy way to get a picture on the Internet whilst on the move. The added benefit is that other twitterer’s can comment on them.

I have added links to my twit pic page and also Stephen Fry’s. I added him because he gets 100’s more comments on his pictures than mine.

I would love to see an improvement on the twitpic API so that I can get the last images I uploaded to my account. Would be nice to have latest images in my blog sidebar. I’m not asking for much, am I.
