I have been in a situation recently through ebay that I was given the second chance offer by a seller from ebay. What exactly is a second chance offer?(If you are new to ebay). Its simple. If you are bidding for a product and if your co bidder out bid you at the last moment you will be next best one after the winner. How to use the second chance offer in your business?? Well as I told you before I was in a situation where I fell for the bid. Well I was competing with another buyer who is bidding for one of the product which I am interested in. I wanted that product so bad that I had to raise whenever I was outbid. For sometime I forgot where the price is taking me. Finally I though of quitting and stopped raising. So the competitor won the bid and the auction ended. After 3 days I got a second chance offer from the seller. So I was surprised as the co-bidder who was raising so much never wanted the product.

I really had a doubt about the seller, because it can be used as a business strategy. You know people sell their ebay accounts. So if the seller brought that account and he bids on his own bid trying to raise the bid. Its like a bait for the buyer who falls for this trick and finally once the auction is done he can go with the second chance offer for the next highest bidder.

I have already mentioned in some of my previous posts that you can also get traffic with misspelt keywords. Well here is one example I want to show who is making living of gmail.com

At times I have the habit of typing the letters incorrectly while searching, some times because of the position in which I am while typing and some times because of carelessness as google will correct the mistyped. This is one of work from home scams. Well actually you think you will not be under risk at first. But actually they will be sending fake checks to you. Once you deposit in your account it will show up. And then you send the 80% of it to that person. Later with in a day you will know that the check is a fake one you will be legally responsible for this and you have to face the consequences. One person who I met shared his experience in this conflict.

He contacted a person who he met in online classifieds. He also got one check to his home and the second one was on the way. Then luckily this happened to him.

I cannot show the location and tracking details so I masked out them.

Well you can see, " the package was forward to a government agency for further investigation" So this is what is going to happen if you don't know what you are dealing with. Then he called up the bank to find the status of the existing check. But the bank people told them that there is no check with the number and hence it has been concluded as a fake one. So I want every body to be aware of what is going around and if we don't keep our eyes open, we are going to be all messed up.

After so many problems Matched.co.uk finally though of closing. Well it started of really great and it started giving so much of money to publishers just for adding text banners on their sites even though the site is not that good. Hence this one came into losses and then later on they started rejecting low quality sites and finally as they could not sustain in the internet because advertisers are not willing to participate because the money which they are spending is not at all worth for getting the required traffic. At first when I heard the concept of this site I was really surprised and I was completely ambiguous how this site is working and I though its a scam but when they paid, I was surprised. I really doubted the existence of this site and finally it could not get through the beta program. If you have already been hearing about this site and are using their widget then you must have known that they are closing. Actually they have 3 projects going on which are completely interconnected to that widget. But unfortunately I think they got some problems implementing their project and they are unable to maintain the website. So finally they though of closing their site.

Well actually at the time of starting this site those guyz have promoted their site like crazy about their innovative idea. But later when the widget was launched and people started using that then the results were not upto the mark. Hence the popularity of the site started decreasing. There are many faults like if the title of the topic is not relevant then you cannot get good traffic. Also there are lot more which led to the extinguish of this site. Actually they had three projects which are completely interlinked to the widget to increase the traffic but later they could not concentrate much on this project and finally led to the closing of this site. If you are regular user of payperpost then you must be right now able to know that payperpost people have revised rules and they have increased the strictness. Previously they used to give opportunities even if you have a PR0 blog but right now you have to have atleast a blog with PR1. Hence unless your blog got some PR you are not going to get qualified for taking any opportunities.
