Making money online is all about the numbers. Because an Internet marketer can have hundreds to thousands of visitors visiting his website everyday, even the smallest changes can increase their profits dramatically.

Just take a look at the math.

A small tweak in a marketer’s email headline will cause an additional 2% to open the E-mail (Let’s assume the list size is about 50,000). If his ‘open rate’ used to be about 10%, an additional 2% would get at least an extra 1,000 pairs of new eyeballs reading your E-mail!

But that is just the E-mail marketing aspect. What we want to do is to make our website convert like crazy! Imagine if among that additional 1,000 people, you are able to sell at least a thousand extra dollars worth of E-products to them by making minor tweaks to your website?

Imagine… if you are doing this OVER AND OVER AGAIN?
Let’s get started right NOW!
Don’t Be Afraid To Blow Your Horn!

You can’t afford to be too modest when you are trying to market your products on the Internet. Your product and your website on the Internet are like a small drop in a very large ocean. People’s attention span is divided amongst millions of websites on the Internet screaming for their attention.

Take for example, the resell rights industry. Online, everyone is selling the same products all over the net. Some price those normally while others sell the products for what someone would pay for a bag of peanuts.

It really seem as though every Tom, Dick and Harry are all resellers online. So what makes you different from the others?

If you want to skyrocket your online profits, you MUST be a branded product!
You see, the online world is slightly different compared to the real world. Some people might be afraid to blow their horn in public (or to tell others how much money they are making online). But online, you can write (almost) whatever you want on your sales copy or your profile page.

The most important thing you must do is you must stand out from the rest of the crowd!

If you’ve achieved success in sales, make sure you ‘flaunt’ your Paypal screen shots before others. Do whatever it takes to let others know what’s so good about you. Let them know that you are different. If you do things that are extraordinary, chances are, people will take notice and spread the word.

Laser Targeted Focus

One of the things you must remember about branding is that you must let others out there know what you specialize in.

Take for example – Internet marketing blogs. If you search throughout the blogosphere, you will see a hundreds of blogs out there titled Internet marketing with __________ or __________’s blog on making money online.

There are too many blogs with the theme make money online or Internet marketing so the best way to stand out from the rest is to focus on a particular niche.

Let’s say you are an expert at network marketing and you want to market your products online. Even network marketing is so competitive and broad that you have to go ‘sub-niche’.

You can let others know that in the network marketing world, you are the guy who turns words into profitable copy that attracts downlines like a vacuum cleaner.

You can probably call yourself the networking copy king! (I know this might sound a bit corny, but it sure got your attention now, didn’t it?)

If you are in to SEO and you are good at long-tail niches, you should let others know about it rather than just focus on a generic SEO branding. It is easier to go for a sub-niche rather than a generic niche.

Use your imagination and brand yourself creatively!

Testimonial Placement

Few would believe you if you say it yourself, but by getting a testimonial from a well respected marketer in the niche you are in, you can be sure to increase your credibility.

Don’t grab any testimonial from just ANY guy or girl. Make sure you let the expert who is providing the testimonial to review you or the product (or you can do some work for them in exchange for a testimonial).

By placing the best and most relevant testimonials at the right place in your sales copy, you can be sure to increase your business profits easily.

More to Come..

Finding Financial Security!

We all face the challenges of today's economy and while things are inevitably going to be different, dealing with the changes is only a matter of anticipating them and protecting ourselves accordingly. You can plan for yourself and your family's financial security by following the basic steps below. These steps will help you to learn to control your money so that it doesn't control you.

Back to Basics -- 5 Steps to Financial Security

1. Create a budget.

* Write down everything you spend each month and cut back on non-essentials. Apply these savings toward reducing your credit card debt.
* Explain to your family that everyone needs to contribute to the expense-cutting. Make it a family effort.
* Use cost-cutting strategies to make the most of your budget. For example, pay in cash and remove credit cards from your wallet. Re-evaluate extra phone and television features. Or, consider eating at home more often, skipping the movie out and enjoying a night of board games with your family.

2. Begin an emergency cash fund.

* Create a savings account and resolve to pay yourself first by setting aside 5 to 10 percent of your salary each month.
* Automatically transfer money from your checking account so that you're not tempted to spend the funds elsewhere.
* Aim to save 3 to 6 months of living expenses in the account for emergencies.

3. Pay down your credit cards.

* Credit card debt is the No. 1 obstacle to a secure financial future, and knowing your credit score is essential.
* You're allowed one free credit check annually with each of the major credit bureaus: Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. Check your report for errors.

4. Create a financial plan using life insurance as the foundation.

* Purchase life insurance. It is the foundation of a strong financial plan and can protect your family during an unexpected turn of events, such as loss of life or loss of income.
* Educate yourself. Certain types of policies accumulate cash value that can be used for large expenses, such as college, while others may be used to help create a legacy of giving that can last for generations to come.
* For a free, no-obligation quote or to learn more about life insurance, visit www.sbliusa.com where you can connect with a life insurance specialist with SBLI USA, a company that specializes in life insurance policies.

5. Optimize your retirement plan.

* If your company offers a 401(k) take advantage of it and any matching contributions.
* If your work doesn't offer a 401(k), consider opening an IRA, or perhaps both.
* Remember, these are long-term retirement plans not short-term savings plans, so be patient and give your money time to grow.

If you're not following at least three of these steps, begin today.

A Writer's Journey

Received from a Fellow Entrepreneur..

One year ago, I began my journey as a full-time writer working from home.

Prior to making that leap, I worked full time in a research lab with a small, rather tight-knit group of people and I spent my spare time (when I could find it) working on various things. After a year and a half of essentially managing two careers, I began to realize that it was creating a great deal of wear and tear on my family and on my relationships, so I made a difficult choice - and took a leap of faith on the writing.

I did a status report at the four month mark regarding how the transition was going. Among the highlights:

The huge amount of time that I didn’t have before has opened the door to countless projects
I feel genuinely fulfilled by my work
I miss my old job - at least the socialization aspects of it
I get stir crazy and often have to leave to go do something
Time management is a completely different challenge than before
My biggest frustration is the interruptions
The new money management stresses me out sometimes

That’s actually a great description of the situation as I saw it four months after changing my career. At this point, though, different things have moved to the forefront and other things have moved to the back burner. Here are the big things I’ve noticed after a full year of working from home.

My biggest challenge is often loneliness
This might seem like a strange complaint, but it’s true: the biggest frustration I regularly face is simple loneliness. I miss the ability to simply stroll across the hall and talk to people throughout the day. I miss social interaction, in short. This was made somewhat worse by a very rough Iowa winter, coupled by the fact that I live in a rather rural area, meaning there isn’t a local place I can visit for that interaction.

What’s the solution? One of the best tactics I’ve found is actually just calling people regularly. I call my parents quite often during the afternoon, mostly to hear what they’re up to and recharge my social batteries. Not only do such calls help keep the social circle going, it enables me to get past any loneliness I may be feeling, gives me a sounding board for ideas, and also helps me keep in touch with the concerns of others.

My biggest benefit is time flexibility
The single biggest benefit of working from home is the time flexibility. I can easily address any task that I need to focus on, whether it’s personal or work-related, as it comes up, provided I’ve built up enough of a “buffer” with my work tasks. Aside from a solid three hour block of time each day that I devote to my family (5 PM to 8 PM, roughly), my weekdays are basically filled with whatever task (in any aspect of my life) seems most urgent at the moment.

There are some big caveats here, though. First, I have to maintain a work buffer - that means I usually have quite a few articles already completed and ready to go before you read them. Second, I have to have a good sense of what’s a priority and what isn’t. Both of these attributes take a great deal of time to develop and maintain in order to gain flexibility. Things don’t become flexible just because you’re self-employed - you have to be able to make the situation flexible.

Meditation and prayer have grown in importance for me
When I was at my previous job, I rarely felt like I had time for things like meditation or prayer. They seemed like good ideas, but there was always something else to do. When I switched careers, I made it a goal to get more in touch with my spiritual side - and it’s the best thing I’ve done in terms of my personal growth.

Each day, I spend a bit of time in what I would describe as a mix of meditation and prayer. Most days, I do it twice - once early in the day and once in the late afternoon. These sessions are simple - I usually just attempt to relax myself, empty my mind of cluttered thoughts (I actually jot down everything I think I’ll need to deal with later), then sit still for a long while, clearing my mind of everything. Whatever comes, comes. Doing this twice a day has done wonders in terms of my clarity of thinking in all aspects of my life.

If I ever return to a “nine to five” career, I will take this aspect of my experience with me.

It’s easy to get overly introspective
It is very easy for me to start chasing windmills. I’ll get obsessed with some little detail of some project I’m working on or on some strange idea in my head or some little aspect of my health, and it will draw all of my focus if I’m not careful.

For me, good task management helps. I’ve become devoted to the use of task management tools to keep me going with my work. Whenever I finish a task, I try to move quickly to a new one. If I find a task is becoming overwhelmingly detailed, I stop, make an effort to break it down into smaller pieces, then work on those pieces. I also make an effort to eliminate distractions, and I’ve come to pride myself on days where I stick to my “to-do” list and accomplish as many items as I can on it. Without that kind of guidance, I’d get obsessed with all kinds of wasteful things.

Finding the right balance of not taking on too much is still a challenge
Sometimes, I feel like I can accomplish far more than I’m doing. Other days, I’m hit with a gigantic case of writer’s block and I can’t seem to accomplish anything. Given that I choose what I work on and what to commit to, I can put myself in great danger if I commit to too many things - but I’m also driven enough to want to commit to plenty of projects. There’s a balance there - and it’s still a tricky one.

My solution revolves around doing as much work up front as I can. If I’m going to start a series on The Simple Dollar, I usually have the whole series framed and quite a few of the articles already written. If I’m shopping a freelance article, that article is either done or close to it. My second book is already extensively outlined and half-written, but I still haven’t signed a contract for it.

Doing things this way gives me the maximum amount of freedom to work with my own personal ebb and flow. I can work hard when things are flowing well and not be panicked if I get a big dose of writer’s block.

Careful bookkeeping is essential
When you work for an employer, keeping track of taxes and other expenses is done for you - you just collect your paycheck and do your taxes at the end of the year. Once you’re working for yourself, you have to keep careful track not only of any income, but also of any spending that you do during the year that’s related to your work.

Take the time to develop a filing system that you understand. Mine tends towards the simple - I mostly just focus on making sure I have every receipt and invoice in a constant place. I also maintain a careful calendar of all financial due dates - quarterly tax dates, for example. This is a very hard question to answer as it depends on many, many things including:

Will you rent/lease or purchase space?
What industry the start-up will participate in?
What geographical location?
How much marketing will be required or how much consumers will need to be educated on the product/service and its benefits?
Where the economy is going?
How much it costs to build the product or provide the service?
Etc, etc, etc.
Even if the entrepreneur receives just a single number - there is no way to tell if this will be correct until after the fact - there are just too many variables.

While most budding entrepreneurs just want a single number, there are other ways to grow a new start-up no matter how much funding is available or that will eventually be needed.

What I tell future business owners is this:

Do all that you can to research the probable costs in running a business - especially for costs that can be foreseen. This can be done by researching lease space or purchase space rates and prices, contacting utility companies to get past averages on electric, gas, water, trash, phone, internet, etc for those locations, contacting local employment offices for wage averages and other employment costs, researching rates for several marketing channels that will be used, and contact a CPA to estimate possible tax obligations (local, state, and federal).

Additionally, new business owners can try to research public information regarding other companies in their industry. While these public companies may be much, much larger than the new start-up, the public companies' financial statements can be common sized (each item taken as a percentage of sales or assets). Then, these percentages can be used to estimate costs items by apply those percentages against your sales estimates. Moreover, these financials can also provide an insight into future growth rates or declines for both sales and expenses.

While all of this can provide an educated guess, it will not provide a specific amount that is needed as all things change and one of the major challenges of running a business is dealing with and accounting for circumstances that are just out of a business owner's control.

However, once many of these costs are estimated, the business owner can then approximate the amount of capital needed for the business over the long-term. This should also include a cushion (from 10% to 50%) for each item to account for unseen cost overruns - which always happens. At this point, the entrepreneur has two additional options that should be contemplated simultaneously.

First, the true power of successful entrepreneurship is the ability to manage costs. This requires creating annual budgets (based on the costs estimates outline above and the amount of funding that can be raised) and sticking to these numbers. Additionally, the budget must be prioritized; ranking expenses in an order of need - not want.

If you estimate and budget that your marketing will require $X amount for the coming 12 months but after 6 months are over that amount - then other cost items must be reduced by the amount of the overage on marketing. These must be reduced by the order of need. Marketing is necessary. Spending $500 per month on morning coffee and doughnuts is not or travel can be reduced and replaced with teleconferencing or just simple phone calls.

Second, ensure that you can always go back to the well for more capital. This means keeping very good relationship with vendors and supplier (who could offer trade credit freeing up cash flow) and your lenders. This also includes staying current on all payments - no lender will fund a company or person who is behind on current obligations. Thus, if the need arises - you have reduced all costs to their bare minimum - you can always go back to these sources for more capital. Lastly, constantly be looking for new, alternative ways in which to finance your company - including factoring, leasing, cash advances, or private investors.

Even if your business is really taking off - meaning that sales are growing at a phenomenal rate, your company could still (and usually do) face cash shortages as your bills (current expenses and the huge expense related to the growth) may be outpacing your cash inflow (actual cash into the business, not receivables - the actual amount in you checkbook).

Note: while managing costs is paramount to a successful business - so is managing revenue - ensuring that your receivables are closely matched to your payables.

So, the bottom line is simply this: You don't need an exact figure (precise amount of capital) before starting your business or specific costs amount (these will change daily). No matter what you estimate, if you are willing to make the hard choices and manage both revenues and expense, you can still grow and succeed. It is all up to you - not merely based on some start-up figure.

Unsecured Loans – An Option For Short Term Needs

Are you looking to borrow only smaller money for some short term needs?
In that case, unsecured loans may be one option as these loans allow you to borrow finance to your immediate needs only for host of purposes, such as home improvements, wedding, enjoying a holiday tour, paying back some old debts or purchasing a car.

You will not be placing any property as collateral, implying that these loans carry no risks for the borrowers. Both tenants and homeowners can have access to funds under these loans once they have proved their income and overall repayment ability. Take a repayment plan to the lender for fast approval of the loan amount.

Depending on your income, you can borrow anywhere from $1000 to $25000. These are short term loans with the repayment duration ranging from few weeks to 15 years. But do not choose a longer duration as it may be costly in terms of total interest payments. Borrow the money which you can easily repay or you may incur debts.

A disadvantage of unsecured loans is that, in order to cover the risks, the lenders have this tendency of charging the interest at higher rate. The higher are the risks, the higher goes up the rate. Therefore, you must first check your credit report to make it error free and know your credit rating as well.

Because of higher risks, the loans are a little difficult to avail if you have a bad credit history with problems like late payments, defaults, arrears, CCJs. However, still you can find the lenders if you are able to convince them that the borrowed amount will be repaid on time. Moreover, you can get the loan if you intend to borrow money at enhanced interest rate.

The loan business is full of lenders claiming to be having a suitable unsecured loan for you. Do not rush to them. Instead, first apply for their rate quotes and extensively compare them, keeping your circumstances in mind. Usually, you will find online lenders offering these loans at competitive rates and at less additional fees. Pay off the loan installments regularly to avoid incurring any debts.

32 Words That Can Change Your Life

We all have ways of testing opportunities that enter our lives. Some of us just dive right in based on feeling, others walk straight into what they know is right by a gut feeling or intuition. And if it's not gut feelings or emotions that are the tests of opportunities, it is the logical mind persuading us to ignore those feelings and emotions and test it with our reality of reason.

Most of us do not have a predetermined strategy for testing opportunities, or even more generally to test the actions we take and the choices we make in our lives.

There is an easier way to determine if our choices we make and the opportunities we receive 'pass the test'. This simple 32 word statement of business ethics was first created in the 1930s and used to turn around a failing company. These four questions were applied by each employee to each and to every minute detail of the company's workings. This little list of four questions from Rotary International, a humanitarian business organization, is the most widely printed, translated and reproduced piece of business ethics today:

"Of the things we say, think or do:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?"

If we built businesses and our lives based on these very simple 4 questions we would be coming from a place completely the opposite of the competitive mind and the lack mentality. As you can see, these questions prompt you to choose what is true, fair, and good, making choices that can build friendships and goodwill. It helps us to see how the choices we make can be beneficial to all concerned.

Because of our societal influences, we most often are inclined to make choices and act based on a competitive mind. This comes from the perspective of lack, scarcity, and ultimately greed.

Any opportunity based on the model of competition and lack will simply not pass the test. Competition promotes strife. It embodies winning one spot, taking it away from all the other people who want it. It misleads people to believing there is only one chance for success, when in reality there is plenty for all.

The competitive model encourages people to rely on a source outside of themselves to give them what they need. This denies the power of their own ability to create what they want. This narrow focus shows they are choosing to ignore the possibility of creating this opportunity in their own lives, instead of trying to win the spot from millions of others.

This simple testing technique takes us completely out of the competitive mind of greed, scarcity and lack. It turns our thoughts and choices toward the positive, realizing there are opportunities we can take that can provide increase for all concerned.

I invite you to use these questions to test your actions and opportunities in your life. If you are seeking opportunity, these questions may help you see things in a different way. In doing this, perhaps you might find an opportunity in your life which truly allows you to benefit the world, while at the same time reaching whatever your dreams, goals, and desires are.

Author Bio
Carina MacInnes is an author and entrepreneur, currently offering a free in-depth e-course on wealth building secrets by her favorite mentor, get it here: milliondollarsecret@robotreply.com She also offers a powerful opportunity to increase health, wealth and vitality in your own life. Start at Home

Whether you are buying a new air conditioner or dish washer, thinking about ways to save money, it all starts at home. There are ways that you can save money in every room of your home.

In the Garage, try ways to save money by increasing your gas mileage in your vehicle. Keeping your car's maintenance up to date is one way to keep your gas mileage down. Have the oil changed according to the schedule of your owner's manual. Keep your tires properly inflated and having good alignment can increase your gas mileage by 3%.

Driving more efficiently can save money. Drive the posted speed limits. Gas mileage begins to decrease at 60 miles per hour and above. Remove unnecessary items from your trunk; an additional 100 pounds can decrease your gas mileage by 2%.

Don't pack items on the top of your car unless you have to. The wind resistance of a loaded roof can reduce your fuel economy by 5%.

If you live near work, try alternative transportation two times a week.

It doesn't matter where you live; heating or cooling your home eats up about 56% of your utility bill. Home owners can save money by checking the weather stripping and caulking around windows and doors. Install ceiling fans, they can cool rooms in the summer and help circulate heat in the winter.

When purchasing new appliances for your kitchen, cheapest is not always the best route. Make sure the appliance you are purchasing meets all government energy conservation standards. Many appliances exceed these standards and can save even more money. The most important thing to remember is to research before you buy.

Check plumbing for leaks. A leaky faucet or toilet can cost home owners hundreds of dollars each month. If you have a septic system, a leaky faucet can fill your system up quickly and cause smelly overflow as well as having to pay a plumber to pump out your system.

Any time an appliance or plumbing needs repairs, be sure to use only licensed professionals. Using someone who is not licensed can cause more damage and void any warranties you may have on that particular item.

Your home will be more comfortable and cost less to cool and heat if you have the right insulation. Adding insulation is a very good way of saving money. Many older homes were built with less insulation, which can mean higher energy bills.

Installing new windows can help shave some pennies from that energy bill too. Consider installing high-efficiency alternatives. Look for windows made of low emissive; or "low-E" glass.

Home owners can also plant trees around their home. They provide natural shade and if planted in well placed areas, can add value to your home and property.

You can save money each month by following just a few simple habits. Turning off lights, washing clothes in cold water and running your dishwasher only when it is full, all these add up over time.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://tigeroffers.blogspot.com/2009/03/saving-money-start-at-home.html' title='Saving Money ? Now, PSUs are suddenly hot property once more, thanks to the slowdown.

On January 13, announcing its financial results for the year 2008-09, infotech giant Infosys announced that it had shifted cash worth Rs 1,000 crore from private sector banks to public sector major State Bank of India (SBI). Infosys thus did exactly what thousands of retail investors had already done. Spooked by rumours that the American sub-prime crisis would have disastrous repercussions on Indian private sector banks, they opted for the security of a government-owned bank.

India Inc is reeling under one round after another of layoffs and salary cuts. But not only are public sector units hiring, their staffers are likely to get a hefty pay hike —amounting to almost 50% in most cases — thanks to the government's recent acceptance of the Pay Commission report.

Many senior bureaucrats have told TOI off the record that they were contemplating early retirement from government service in order to avail of lucrative offers from the private sector. All those plans have been put on hold. "Why accept a job which may not even exist tomorrow?" asked one. The improvement in quality of life thanks to the Pay Commission won't hurt.

For years, PSUs that went to Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad during recruitment season returned empty-handed. This time, 41 out of 234 members of the Class of 2009 signed up for a sarkari job.

Indians who grew up in the post-liberalization era may find it hard to believe, but there was a time when the public sector truly occupied the commanding heights of the economy, when an SBI branch manager in a mofussil area was a local deity almost at par with the DM and SP, and when a government job considerably enhanced one's prospects in the marriage market.

All that, of course, changed with economic reforms, which opened a whole new world of multinational salaries and globetrotting careers to young Indians. Private enterprise flourished. New business empires were created, old ones reinvigorated. PSUs were consigned to the shadows, derided as bureaucratic, sluggish and wealth destroyers. Talk of disinvestment and privatization gained ground, since "government had no business to be in business". It seemed that PSUs would soon go the way of the dinosaurs.

Only, they didn't. In fact, they're back with a vengeance. Welcome to today, which seems much like the day before yesterday. Globally, socialists are chuckling. The US government is frantically extending bailouts to former icons of capitalism like General Motors and Citibank (a few days back, TOI headlined a front-page report `USA turns into USSR'.

It's no different in India. At a time when many leading private sector companies are seeing dips in profitability, if not outright losses, PSUs are going from strength to strength. Unwieldy size now comes across as reassuring solidity and economy of scale. No wonder investors too have rediscovered their virtues.

Consider the insurance sector. In December 2008, LIC's market share in collection of premium for insurance cover was 60% — up from 56% in the same period last year.

Similarly, public sector banks have increased their business and profitability as well. In the October-December quarter of 2008-09, while mobilization of many private sector banks dipped, that of public sector banks increased rapidly. The deposits of State Bank of India (SBI) increased by 36% or Rs 1,83,00 crore against around 24% for the entire sector. Similarly, in credit disbursal too, SBI and other PSU banks have outpaced the private sector banks.
In the October-December 2008 quarter, while SBI's profit increased by 37%, ICICI Bank's declined by around 3.5%.

Naturally, PSU chiefs are crowing. Says Bharat Heavy Industries CMD K Ravikumar, "Due to their innovative yet conservative approach, good corporate governance and highly dedicated and motivated workforce, PSUs have been able to face this time of recession much better then their private sector counterparts." Another PSU chief said the main difference between the public and private sector is that the former provides job security. But, "this is vital to motivate employees in tough times," he said.

And what's the stock market verdict? Well, the BSE sensex has crashed 38% since September 15 last year. The PSU index too has declined, but by a comparatively modest 24%.

Free Traffic to your Website!

Search the web! According
to ICRA online data, some schemes have close to 60% of their total
assets under management (AUM) in cash.
Industry experts say that most funds are sitting on cash anywhere
between 10-15% of AUM, as the market continues to move in a narrow
range. ``Our analysis shows that the cash portion of the portfolio has
been growing steadily in the last few months,'' says a mutual fund
analyst.
Why are funds sitting on cash, when they can buy shares cheaply and
maximise returns for their investors? ``A fund could be sitting on
high cash levels for a variety of reasons, including waiting for the
correct entry point to negative or range-bound market view. In case of
NFOs, the fund may also be in the deployment mode,'' explains Sameer
Kamdar, ceo, Asset Management, ASK Investment Holdings. ``People don't
think the market will move up sharply soon. In such a situation, they
prefer to stay on cash,'' says Waquar Naquvi, ceo, Taurus Mutual Fund.
``Most fund houses are sitting on cash up to 15-30%.''
Another reason why some of the schemes may prefer to sit on cash is
because of the nature of their investment. ``When you are running a
small or a mid-cap scheme or a scheme looking for new opportunities,
you will have to keep some cash aside. Especially in a market like
this, the cash could come in very handy,'' says an MF manager, who
doesn't want to be named. ``Also, some funds try to show better
performance by sitting on cash, as most funds are in the negative
territory.''
However, Naqvi points out that extremely high cash element in the
portfolio won't work over a long period of time. ``It should be a
short term strategy. If you keep extremely high percentage of cash,
then you won't qualify as an equity MF for the tax purpose. And the
investors would suffer,'' he says. An equity fund should have to
invest at least 65% of its portfolio in stocks to qualify for the long
term tax-free capital gains status.
So, what exactly is the ideal percentage of cash in a portfolio? Some
fund managers believe 5% cash is ideal, but they point out that ideal
percentage works in an ideal market. ``There is no ideal percentage of
cash one should have in the portfolio. It all depends on the style and
the view of the fund manager,'' says Kamdar. ``MNCs may have such
figures, but Indian companies don't stick such rules,'' points out
Naqvi.

Source: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Business/India-Business/Diversified-funds-hold-on-to-cash/articleshow/4198045.cms

Lessons of Independence - but it can be done in one burst and will
cost you a little bit of money…and…
One requires almost no work at all and will cost you almost no money at
all – well a few dollars, but Hey – Miss a couple of coffee’s and you’ll be
sweet.
So what are these solutions to create a massive multiplication of your income
and financial security so you can finally get away from that 9-5 job and the rush
hour traffic that is eating away at your most valuable possession in life?
(That possession being ‘TIME’)
Here they are – Three roads to financial freedom…
You can sit down and write enough newsletters to last for a year, after
finding suitable affiliate promotions that will help you to monetize the list.
You will of course have to write content in a manner that will ensure you have
a chance to make money from that list and retain those people who have opted in to your newsletter.
You can use PLR content that you might have purchased and rework it
into suitable newsletters, once again ensuring that it is written and formatted
in such a manner that you will be able to make money from the list.
Ordinary unchanged PLR Articles are unlikely to convert as well as targeted
content that ‘has a purpose’ and is related to the affiliate income sources you
are recommending.
The idea again is to create all the content from one dedicated action plan so
you can upload it to your auto-responder and move on to the next project
knowing that the list will start making for you money for the next year or so
until you ‘reload’ it with more content for the year after…or…
You can buy some already created and formatted content that you know
your readers will be interested in and you know is ‘designed to sell’ and set
and forget that project and move on to the next project with very little effort at
all.
All the work is already done for you.
So there you have it.
The approach to take with Niche Emails is to create or buy all the content at one
time, then get that business model up and running as fast as possible before
moving on to the next project.
OK – I know you need more information on how to get started so I will give you
the resources, so you can follow the method that you feel most comfortable with
based on your expertise and financial situation.
To create your own content you just need to start writing and that needs to
happen NOW – as every day you delay getting started you are leaving money on
the table.
Time is always of the essence.
You will need an autoresponder service and the best in the business in my
opinion, and that of most marketers is AWeber
To assist you in preparing your newsletter, provided you have a little money to
invest you just cannot beat Lisa Prestons Product
To use PLR content there are so many different places selling PLR Content that
a full list of them would probably double the size of this report.
It is certainly not a full list but there are many sites to choose from there.
Be very careful when buying your PLR Content as I have hundreds of articles
that are only suitable for filler content, having been written by people who don’t
have English as their first language.
This type of content isn’t really suitable for Newsletters.
You should be personalizing the content so that it appears to have been written
by you.
Once again Lisa’s Niche Emails will help you prepare better newsletters and is a
good investment.
And finally you buy the same newsletter content that I use to send to my lists
from www.easylistbuilders.com
This is High Quality Content that is also very cheap to buy and is the fastest and
easiest way to get started.
All of a sudden newsletter management has become a whole lot easier ☺

Next Lesson - 1

Life Doesn’t Need To Be A Struggle!
I am not a big fan of writing newsletters and I am sure that most people will agree
with me that having to write content for a newsletter every week is an absolute
pain.
The simple fact is – You must have content for your newsletter that is interesting
for the niche that you are targeting, and that content needs to make you money
or ‘Why Waste Your Time and Effort?’
So how does someone who hates writing, or can’t think of what to write, or
doesn’t have the time to write, maintain a list and make money in such an easy
manner?
Consider this:
You love dogs, so you decide to start a dog newsletter because you know
a lot about dogs and will be able to prepare a lot of content for a dog
newsletter.
You begin your newsletter, and to start with, there are only a few people
on that newsletter list who you are writing to each week.
You might be able to sell them a thing or two from the affiliate links that
you have in your newsletter but it won’t be a lot initially because you can’t
build your list while you are busy preparing content.
You start off strong, writing like a maniac, but then it dawns on you!!!!
You actually prefer to be outside in the park walking with your dog and
meeting new people.
You would rather be sitting down in the park with your dog having a picnic.
You would rather be throwing the ball for your dog to fetch.
You think – “This newsletter-writing lark is not all it’s cut out to be”
In fact – You hate writing those newsletters almost as much as you dislike being
stuck in rush hour traffic wasting your life away when you could be doing more
exciting things with your life.
So you start to slack off with the newsletters and write less and less, and all the
while you haven’t been getting quite so many subscribers because you have
been wasting so much time writing to the few that you managed to capture when
you first started.
And to make matters worse, some idiot like me is telling you that you need many
newsletters in many different niches to make so much more money than you
could have ever dreamed of.
“Wait up” you say – I only have 24 hours in the day and I need to spend some of
that time looking at the back of my eyelids or I will go insane.
There must be an easier way!
Well there is an easier way.
In fact there are several easier ways and I am going to tell you what they are in the next Lesson.Lessons of Independence - Quick Facts

Alexander the Great - Quick Facts

He was inspired by the feats of the warriors in Homer's 'Lliad,' a story about the deeds of Achilles.
He always kept a copy of the epic poem under his pillow.
During his youth, Alexander tamed the wild horse Bucephalus. Later, when his beloved horse died, Alexander
renamed a city in India for Bucephalus.
He was only 20 when he became king of Macedonia. While he was away, someone spread a story that he
was dead. The people in the city of Thebes revolted and called upon the people of Athens to join them. He
soon appeared before Thebes with his army and stormed the city by destroying all the buildings, except the
temples and the house of the poet Pindar.
He founded some 70 cities within his empire, many of them named Alexandria.
When he was a child, he wept bitterly when he heard of Philip's conquests and said, " My father will get ahead of me in everything, and will leave nothing great for me to do."
He remained undefeated in battle his entire life.

Quotes By Alexander The Great

“Heaven cannot brook two suns, nor earth two masters.”
“I am indebted to my father for living, but to my teacher for living well.”
“I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of
sheep led by a lion.”
“I would rather excel others in the knowledge of what is excellent, than in the
extent of my power and dominion.”
“There is nothing impossible to him who will try.”

Letters from Switch Brain!

Learn how to play all THREE stages of the money game.

===========================

Stage 1: Get real money
Stage 2: Keep it
Stage 3: Make it work for you, so you won't have to work for it

Let's break them down...

1: OK, what is real money anyway? You're right. Real money is different for each person. One person believes making five hundred thousand per year is 'real' money and another believe making twenty five thousand per year is real money.

How's this for a definition: Real money is having enough to live a comfortable lifestyle, and also having enough to invest long-term and make money work for me... so I won't have to always work for it.

2: There are only two ways to keep it. First, not spend it, and second, learn effective tax strategies in order to keep it in your pocket.

That's the secret! Keep in mind, wealthy people inves.t money... not spend it. If it's invested in a business or real estate (tax shelters), I'm using powerful tax reduction strategies and in effect, not spending it... I'm investing it.

3: Next, you make it work FOR YOU and investing it intelligently. We were never taught that in school were we?

We were taught stricktly how to work for money... then spend it. Not how to make it work for us.

By SwitchBrain !
