SILVER CADUCEUS ASSOCIATION (MSC Officers and Warrant Officers) REUNION 2012

The 2012 SCA Reunion Planning Committee and I would like to extend an invitation to you to attend our next biannual event, to be held in San Antonio, Texas, from Wednesday September 26, 2012 to Sunday September 30, 2012. The reunion site will once again be the excellent Doubletree Hotel, across Loop 410 from North Star Mall, and a very short distance from the airport.

Our planning committee has been active for eight months. We have followed the basic outline of previous reunions here in San Antonio…..with one exception. We have added one additional day to the agenda (Wednesday the 26^th of September), the afternoon of which has been set aside specifically for an exciting tour of Camp Bullis, followed on Thursday morning and afternoon with tours of Fort Sam Houston (with its extensive buildup and changes), lunch at the AMEDD Museum, as well as tours of the San Antonio Military Medical Center, The Center for the Intrepid, and the Wounded Warrior Facility.. I guarantee that you will not recognize the old “stomping grounds”! Tour space will be limited, and early sign-up will be encouraged.

We also encourage out of town attendees to strongly consider arrival on Tuesday the 25^th of September, in order to take advantage of the tour on Wednesday afternoon.

We will be providing registration packets to members around May 15, 2012…..and strongly encourage out of town attendees to make airline reservations as soon as possible, before any price increases occur due to the rising cost of fuel.
