Back in 2007, George P. Johnson asked Odopod to create a series of interactive touchscreen kiosks for Honda. We designed and developed four applications that have sustained three years of trade show events. Each year, we've been there to refresh the look and feel of the experience while new adding features and new vehicles The latest iteration has just launched.

We're excited to announce a new project launch for the Ford 2011 Super Duty, a site we completed in collaboration with the good people of Team Detroit.

The site serves as a platform to introduce the 2011 Super Duty using video narratives to detail the various characteristics and capabilities of the brand new powertrain. Events, news and reviews are continuously streaming into the site, and digital chats that feature Ford experts make it a place to discover everything there is to know about the truck.

The entire life cycle of the site is broken out into multiple phases and we're continuing to build upon the experience, constantly adding new features and functions as the excitement for the Super Duty grows.

The Chairs of the Andy Awards have asked the jury nominees to respond to 5 questions about creativity, technology and industry at large. To help you get to know our favorite nominee and Odopod Founder, Jacquie Moss, we've reposted her answers here. Be sure to submit your vote »

Are big ideas relevant anymore?
Yes, definitely. People want to feel — to laugh, cry, scream, wince. The best big ideas tell meaningful stories that resonate at our core and illuminate some basic human truth.

What role does technology play in the future? Does the future belong to specialists or generalists?
Technology will continue to be at the core of all innovation. It will shape humanity as much as humans shape it. The future belongs to specialists who are able to generalize. The future needs experts who are able to collaborate with each other. Still, there’s always a place for amazing generalists who see interesting opportunities and excite a team of specialists.

Is the recession feeding creativity?
If nothing else, the recession has fed a different side to our creativity. Managing a clients reduced and more closely watched budgets requires being more versatile, resourceful and open-minded.

Do award shows matter any more, and who is qualified to judge work?
There’s so much great work being produced. It’s important to have a filter to celebrate the best. Awards are a moment to take stock of our industry’s progress and be inspired to push further. The most qualified judges are those who pay good attention and invest time to thoughtfully consider each entry. A judge should be someone who knows how to share a well-formed opinion. Their opinion is certainly more valuable when their own work is widely respected.

What keeps you up at night?
Right now, my six month old baby – Ruby.

Behind the scenes at an Ultimate Fighting Championship live event is intense. We were lucky enough to experience the fiercely orchestrated sequence of events from the point of view of a super fan, an event manager and all the people who make fight nights possible. Here are some of our favorite moments from the top left:

 • UFC 104: Machida vs Shogan - Saturday October 24 in LA
• The weigh-in begins...
• It was mobbed with people.
• The event. From the the floor. Sold out Staples Center.
• The trailer. All the camera signals come in here and turned into a show.
• The director at work in the trailer. The director is calling from one camera to the next.
• The replay team. These guys select moments during that are used for playback.
• Lots of physical cable makes it all possible.
• Audio finishing happens in another trailer. These guys do that.
• The locker room. This guy is about to fight in front of thousands of people.
• Just in case...
• The light heavy weight belt. In the end, Machida took it home to Brazil again.

The International Andy Awards honors exceptional creative thinking in the advertising industry, awarded by an appointed jury of the world's creative leaders. In previous years, the members of the jury have been selected behind the scenes with little insight into the process.

This year, they've changed things up, crowd-sourcing the jury selection process and giving us all an opportunity decide who is best for the job. Among a list of very qualified nominees is Odopod's very own Founder and Creative Director, Jacquie Moss.

We'd love your help in getting Jacquie on the Jury - All you have to do is cast your vote and tell a friend to do the same. You can do it once, twice, or multiple times - now through November 15th.

Thanks in advance for your support!

The iTunes App Store just broke 2 billion downloads. Let's run down some of the crazy big numbers:

• 2 billion applications downloaded in a span of 15 months.

• That's an average of 4.4 million apps a day or 133 million apps a month. (It's, obviously, running at a faster rate now).

• 100 million iTunes accounts WITH credit card numbers puts users a click and a password away from picking up any app.

OK, of the currently 85,000 available apps, only a fraction are making a lot of money. Still, the App Store is an unprecedented economic achievement. No other software platform has gotten so many people to buy so much so fast. None.

So, what are the takeaways? What can we learn?
