Is that crazy or sick love? You be the judge. I have done my best to think this is not true just to get the idea out of my head. After knowing all about body preservation, I don’t have a single doubt that this case could be a true story about a man who loved his wife way too much to keep her body preserved in a glass coffee table turning the corpse into a decoration/furniture. Many websites claim that this is not true as the idea along with the enclosed image are of extreme offensive nature to the dead.

This story originally appeared in the American tabloid Weekly World News, published first on Dec. 1, 1992, and then again in a May 1993 Collectors' Edition. It goes as follows:

Jeff Green is a 32 year old American in Arizona, whose wife passed away. Due to the great pain he suffered due to her death, he did something totally out of character for a normal and sane person. He said, "I could no longer take the pain that my wife's death has caused me, and I brought her back home." This is where Jeff's story takes a twisted turn. His wife, Lucy, was born with a heart condition that cut her life short at the young age of 29. Lucy's last words to Jeff were, "We will meet again in heaven."

These words served no consolation to Jeff's despair. At the funeral, in an act of desperation, Jeff decided that he would not let Lucy leave him.

"I called the cemetery caretaker and explained my feelings. I spoke with the authorities and got special permission to take my wife home with me. They thought it strange, but I was allowed to take her with me. I rather have her at home than seven feet under ground. Lucy had a great sense of humor and I'm sure she would appreciate being my coffee table."

Jeff ordered a special glass casing that eliminates the decomposition of a dead body along with embalming the body using the latest preservation methods. "It cost me about $6,000.00, but it was worth it." Some of his friends and relatives, filled with fear, stopped visiting Jeff. His true friends respected his decision and continue visiting him. Some even comment that it is a nice piece of furniture.

Apparently as some sources claim. Two years later, he started dating and fell in love with his new girlfriend that led him into selling his glass coffee table along with the corpse of his ex-dead-wife, at a garage sale, for a price of $216!!!

Are they for real? Some say yes and these ideas are implemented but yet need to be tested thoroughly, others say such ideas are simply impossible to implement until after 50 years atleast. Leonardo DiCaprio has been choosing his roles very carefully lately. I love his role in this movie. Didn’t expect that Ellen Page would be in this movie when it first started, but also her role was carefully chosen and she fits perfectly as an ambitious architect. In all the reviews I will be posting, I will not ruin your movie experience if you haven’t watched it and I will either strongly recommend it or not. And Inception is seriously one movie you don’t want to miss. The only downside of this movie is that the ending is long.

Bruce Willis, Mary-Louise Parker, John Malkovich and Morgan Freeman… Perfect combination for a crazy movie like RED. I loved it a lot especially the Mary-Louise’s craziness and rush. I would watch it again. Totally worth it.

Same old same old.. Thought it would be different but the only different thing is that the gore is in 3D now. The plot is lame, they kind of took the story too far now and I think Resident Evil sequels should end right here. The only thing, or actually two things that kept me engaged in the movie are both Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter. Wentworth Miller is useless in this movie and the role doesn’t fit him at all. Sick of them Resident Evil and all that Umbrella crap.

WOW WOW WOW… Yes some might think the movie is lame but seriously when can you ever have another movie that will be gathering all those super action heroes together? NEVER! And this one did it. Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis and a special appearance for Arnold Schwarzenegger. I mean give me a break!! Honestly I didn’t think it would be that much of a movie but when I watched it.. Do you remember how Rambo and Terminator were true actions movies where seriously the action never stops?? This movie is 99% action, shooting, killing, running etc… And the rest of the 1% I can’t remember. They revived the definition of an action movie and I love it! That’s all I can say…

Prepare to be bored. By the way.. The trailer is much more fun.

A new study reveals that the color of your car can prevent it from being stolen. This study proves that the most common car colors that are manufactured – Black, White and Silver/Gray – have been stolen more than the strange or flashy colors like red, pink, yellow, green or turquoise for example.

So beware before buying your car, its color might prevent or increase the chances of it being stolen.

When looking for a new car, keep in mind that the color of your vehicle can cut its chances of being stolen almost by half.

The more popular the color of your car is, the more likely it is to be stolen, a new study from the Netherlands shows. For example, none of the pink cars used in the study were stolen.

Researchers from the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands found that the most popular colors of cars bought in most European countries are black, blue and silver/grey. In recent years, car buyers have become more conservative when selecting the color of their car, the study noted.

Worldwide, black, blue, white and silver/grey cars made up 86 percent of new car sales in 2009, according to DuPont, a major manufacturer of car paint. The remaining 14 percent of sales included colors such as green, yellow, red, orange and pink.

Economist Ben Vollaard of the University of Tilburg compared these figures to the rates of stolen cars in the Netherlands between 2004 and 2008. Vollaard focused on the cars most likely to be stolen – those of the fifteen most popular makes which were no older than three years.

The most frequently stolen cars were black, blue, and silver/grey, with uncommon colors less likely to be stolen, the study found.

So why are thieves so wary of stealing a more unique, brightly-colored car?

While it may be suggested that cars in popular colors are more likely to be stolen simply because there are more of them on the road, or that unusual colors may attract more unwanted attention, Vollaard found that resale value is actually a major determining factor in car theft.

Simply put, the more "out there" a car's color, the lower its resale value. Thieves most often steal cars in order to resell them – 85 percent of all car thefts are in this category, according to the study.

"Differences in theft rates between cars in common and uncommon color suggest that resale value is on the mind of car thieves," Vollaard noted in the study. "We find evidence that it is indeed the resale value rather than the fear of getting caught that is driving this difference."

The possibility that thieves avoid brightly-colored cars because they don't want to attract the attention of the authorities also didn't seem to be case, Vollaard's research shows.

Red - which obviously attracts attention – was popular in Netherland during the early 1990s, when around 25 percent of all new cars were red. But the color fell out of popularity over time, and now only about 5 percent of new cars are red. The decline was a worldwide trend, according data from DuPont.

But thieves did not seem care much about being spotted in a bright-colored car, as there were higher rates of theft for red cars in the 1990s, the study found. Therefore, the popularity of red in new car sales is tightly linked with the prevalence of red among stolen cars, as Vollaard's diagram shows below.

RockMelt, A Browser Built For Facebook Freaks And Tweeters

Get a hold of an early release of the latest browser that combines the power of social networking with ultimate chromium-based browser capabilities.

RockMelt is “The Facebook Browser” that everybody has been talking about and it is finally available in BETA. It is based on Chromium, so it inherits Chrome’s speed, looks, and basic functionality on both Windows and Mac.

The rumor mill has been buzzing for months about the imminent arrival of a new “Facebook browser” called RockMelt.

Well, it really does exist, and it’s here. RockMelt is being released as a limited public beta Sunday. Anyone can sign up to test it out, but the release will be throttled so as not to overload the cloud-based components of the app. RockMelt will be doling out download links as quickly as it can manage on a first-come, first-served basis.

The two founders, CEO Eric Vishria and CTO Tim Howes, demonstrated RockMelt to Wired a few days before Sunday’s launch.

It’s based on Chromium, so it inherits Google Chrome’s speed, looks, and basic functionality on both Mac and Windows.

And while its Facebook integration runs deep, RockMelt is not exactly a Facebook browser. It’s a social web browser, allowing you to post links, videos and status updates to both Facebook and Twitter (that’s it for now, but more services will be added later). There are also built-in clients for consuming your Facebook feed and managing multiple Twitter feeds, a chat client, and lightweight RSS reader. It does use your Facebook account to personalize the experience, but its reach is broader than just Facebook.

We’ve seen browsers custom-built for the social web before, most notably Flock, which launched as a MySpaced-up version of Firefox. Mozilla experimented with Ubiquity, an in-browser tool for posting to different social sites and interacting with web services. There are a number of add-ons that can embed social networking dashboards into the browser for you. These tools have grown in popularity as we’ve struggled to manage the ever-increasing flow of links, media and bits shared by our online friends.

So, the idea isn’t original. And RockMelt doesn’t sport a complete re-invention of the browser interface, either. But it is very streamlined, and there are some key elements that people who live and breathe the social web will find intriguing.

First of all, you log in to RockMelt before you use it. You authorize the browser to connect to your Facebook account, and the browser is instantly customized for your social circle, showing your friends and your favorite sites in slim sidebars — or “edges,” to use the RockMelt parlance.

The edge on the left has your picture at the top, and the friends you interact with the most appear in a list below you. To send a new tweet or to update your Facebook status, you click on your picture. To send your friend a message or start a new chat with them, click on their photo. You can also share things by grabbing an image or video on the web page and dragging it on top of your friend’s icon.

The edge on the right has small icons for each of the services RockMelt tracks for you (only Facebook and Twitter for now) as well as spaces to add RSS feeds from your favorite sites.

The “edges” aren’t intrusive — they are less than 50 pixels wide each — but they do add extra visual heft.

“You can’t forget you’re a browser, and you can’t get in people’s way,” says RockMelt CEO Eric Vishra. “We designed these edges to be very thin, to be there when you want, and to blend in when you don’t.” You can also dismiss them with hot keys.

Clicking on one of the icons in the right edge — either Twitter, Facebook or a website icon — brings up a little pane that shows recent posts and activities from that source. Following the “keep things out of the way” philosophy, these panels can pop out from the browser to float freely if you want.

All of your user data is stored in the cloud by RockMelt (on Amazon servers) and synced when you log in, so no matter whose copy of RockMelt you’re using, you see your own custom version of the browser. Others are moving in this direction, too — Chrome connects to your Google account and Firefox has an agnostic Account Manager. But RockMelt’s Facebook integration is central to the experience.

RockMelt is polling Facebook, Twitter and your favorite sites periodically to check for updates (There’s no Firehose or PubSubHubbub magic yet, the founders tell us). But the feeds are real-timey enough. Updates show up in under a minute, often less. The updates are collected by the cloud service and pushed down to the browser.

There’s also a big “Share” button at the top of the browser. Clicking this button opens up an all-purpose sharing window, so you can tweet a link, post something to your Facebook wall or send the link as a message to a friend. Not a huge innovation, as we’ve seen something similar in Flock, but it’s nice.

Lastly, when you use the web search box in the browser, you get another floating window pane that shows the top ten search results. You can click (or navigate with keys) through this list, and the results flip by in the main browser window. RockMelt starts pre-fetching and rendering each one of those ten search results as soon as they show up (with Flash blocked). When you click through the list, you’re seeing real web pages, not snapshots, and you don’t have to wait for the individual pages to load. It’s wicked fast, like flipping through a stack of cards. It sounds bandwidth hoggish, but the browser calculates how much pre-fetching your connection can handle and adjusts accordingly.

Those are the big features. But let’s consider for a moment the elephant in the room: RockMelt is very, very Facebooky. It uses Facebook to sign you in, the in-browser chat experience is built on Facebook Chat, and when you share something via a message, you’re sending them a Facebook mail.

The founders say there are investigating other login experiences, like Twitter sign-in or OpenID logins using Google, Yahoo or AOL accounts.

“We’re going to remain agnostic and pick the services that the most people want to use,” Vishra says, but the team decided to “go deep” on Facebook simply because of the site’s size and volume.

Although it’s disappointing to see that the browser doesn’t play as well on the open web as it does on Facebook’s web, the tight focus makes sense for a young browser trying to gain a foothold in the mass market: Go drop your line where the fish are biting.

The downside being, of course, that if you’re not a Facebook person, RockMelt isn’t as interesting. I could see it being useful for Twitter power users who have a Facebook account, even if they don’t use Facebook heavily. But if that’s your angle, RockMelt’s chat and messaging features, which are based entirely on Facebook, are nothing more than food coloring. Web Monkey

New Octopus Paul II Is Taking Over His Predecessor’s Place

For all of you people who were sad that Paul the Octopus is dead. A new Paul II was assigned for the prediction job of his predecessor having his place, name and job.

As reported by Discovery News, no one yet knows if Paul II will follow Paul’s footsteps, or might I call it, tentacle steps! It is said that it is more likely for Paul II to start predicting games during the coming 3 years and not in World Cup 2014 since the life expectancy of an octopus in captivity does not extend to more than 3 years.

Paul “the original” died at the age of three. He died in his sleep peacefully falling to the bottom of the aquarium after successfully predicting 100% of 8 important World Cup 2010 matches and nearly 80% of Euro Cup.

I don’t understand, was the idea of Paul predicting games just a joke that worked? Or it was planned? Because I don’t think it is very easy to just replace such talent or LUCK! No one knows for sure how this thing “prediction of octopuses” works. I would say that this one won’t have the abilities of the original Paul, but I guess all we have to do is wait and see.

His astonishing ability made him a global media phenomenon. His later predictions were carried live on rolling news channels in Germany.

It is unlikely, however, that around five-month-old Paul II will live to give predictions for the next World Cup in 2014 in Brazil, given that the life expectancy of octopuses in captivity is around three years.

Whether he will make the next European championship, in Ukraine and Poland in 2012, is also far from being a safe bet.

The title says it all. Now you can download a copy of your entire Facebook profile to your PC including your messages, wall, pictures, videos, notes, comments, posts etc... I must admit, this is one of the best features I have ever seen in a social networking website.

Now you don’t have to worry about your private data or the memories that can be accessed from Facebook if you are looking to deactivate or delete your Facebook account. But apparently this wasn’t the reason they created this feature. I think they are pushing other social networks to create the same feature so people can easily move their information from one network to another without the need to repost and upload everything one by one as before. Also it provides more offline control and monitoring of your activity on Facebook.

Every year, Facebook starts applying major changes on its platform starting September till December. This years changes aren’t so bad except for the “New Group” feature. Atleast this is how I find it. As for accessing your account from different open ID’s is brilliant and found in the Account Settings. And also many minor enhancements were applied that made Facebook more user friendly.

As for now, all you need to do to download your Facebook information is access your Facebook profile. Go to Account, click on Account Settings. Next to Download Your Information, click on Learn More. After you Click on Download, it takes from half hour to 2 hours for your entire Facebook profile to be ready in a Zip file format and ready to be download, however, you will go through a set of security confirmations before you continue. It starts with the entering the password of the Facebook account then a person has to identify 5 friends from his list tagged in their photos and you are allowed to skip two people only. After identifying 5 friends, You can initiate download. The size of the file is given under the final Download green button.

What is Plastination and who invented this crazy idea?

A preservation technique whereby an embalmed body is drained of its natural fluids and injected with a polymer solution. The body is posed and then cured and hardened into position.

Plastination is viewed as a novel and useful alternative to the traditional post-death options like burial and cremation. Proponents see the process as potentially useful to medical students, who some say rely too much on computer models instead of working with real bodies.

Body Worlds is the brainchild of German anatomist Gunther von Hagens, the inventor of plastination who also created a stir in 2002 by performing the first public dissection in 180 years in London. He defended the event by claiming that human anatomy and pathology should be available to the public at large, not just the medical community.

Youngest Couple to Ever Get Engaged. Syrian Khalid 5YO and Hala 3YO

Syrian Khalid, 5 years old, popped the big question to Hala, 3 years old. “Will you marry me?” during a vacation with family and friends in Latakia, Syria. Well now they are officially engaged and they are completely “inseparable by love” as their parents say. Too young for love? Their parents don’t think so. Khalid met Hala at a family vacation gathering in Latakia, Syria and they immediately fell in love.

Their story has become the talk of the country.

“I vowed to have my child engaged at the age of five if he was a boy and to marry him to a women of his choice at the age of 15,” he said. He has also agreed to bear the education expenses of both children until they graduate.

Child marriage continues across the globe as many cultures remain bound by tradition, but there are very few cases when it comes to big cities in this Middle Eastern country. Syria is not among the United Nations list of 30 countries with the highest incidents of child marriage. Perhaps the unusual nature of the betrothals has increased the disapproval and displeasure voiced in Syria's newspapers and online discussion forums.

“How can these idiotic and clearly blind parents not see that they are merely encouraging the destruction of their children's childhood? It's beyond me why they're not just shrugging it off with a 'don't be silly' attitude," wrote another concerned woman in Damaspost. Some tribal elders also see nothing wrong in committing young girls to marriage. They believe early marriage protects their daughters from premarital relationships, arguing that Islamic law in fact permits such matrimonies.

Several international human rights agreements protect children from underage marriage, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), the Convention of Eradication of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (1979), the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989), and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (1990).

The UN recommends that countries adopt a minimum age for marriage of 18 for both sexes, saying child marriage reinforces low education, high fertility, and poverty.

Meet the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs

I was watching a documentary called The Dark Side of Porn and it was mainly talking about snuff movies. Snuff movies are movies that show real murders happening and being video taped. I started doing some research about snuff movies so I share the information on my blog. But what I have found is much more interesting than the snuff that's already out there. Snuff is an easy word to explain the story of those maniacs. I don't understand what has happened to the world and to the living ethics in the world. This is by far the most disgusting story I have ever known about and I would love to share it with my fellow readers.

The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs is the media epithet for the killers responsible for a string of brutal murders in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine in June and July 2007. The case gained additional notoriety due to the fact that the killers made video recordings of some of the murders, with one of the videos leaking to the Internet. Two 19-year-old locals, Viktor Sayenko and Igor Suprunyuck, were arrested and charged with 21 murders. A third co-conspirator, Alexander Hanzha, was charged with two armed robberies that took place before the murder spree. On February 11, 2009, all three defendants were found guilty. Suprunyuck and Sayenko were sentenced to life imprisonment, while Hanzha received nine years in prison.

Murders
The first two murders took place late at night on June 25, 2007. The first victim was a 33-year-old local woman named Ekaterina Ilchenko, who was walking home after having tea at her female friend's apartment. According to Sayenko's confession, he and Suprunyuck were "out for a walk". Suprunyuck had a hammer. As Ilchenko walked past, Suprunyuck "spun around" and struck her in the side of the head. Ilchenko's body was found by her mother at 5 AM.
Within an hour of the first murder, the two men attacked their next victim, Roman Tatarevich. He was sleeping on a bench a short walk away from the first murder scene. Tatarevich's head was smashed with blunt objects numerous times, rendering him unrecognizable. The bench he was discovered on was located across the street from the local Public Prosecutor's office.
On July 1, two more victims, Evgeniya Grischenko and Nikolai Serchuk, were found murdered in the nearby town of Novomoskovsk.
On the night of July 6, three more people were murdered in Dnepropetrovsk. The first was Egor Nechvoloda, a recently discharged army recruit, who was bludgeoned while walking home from a night club. His mother found the body in the morning by their apartment building on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street. Elena Shram, a 28-year-old night guard, was then murdered around the corner on Kosiora Street. According to Sayenko's taped confession, as Shram walked towards them, Suprunyuck struck her with the hammer he had been hiding under his shirt and struck her several more times after she fell down. She had been carrying a bag filled with clothes. The men picked up the bag, used the clothes to clean the hammer, and threw the bag out. Later the same night, the men murdered a woman named Valentina Hanzha (no apparent relation to co-defendant Alexander Hanzha), a mother of three married to a disabled husband.
The next day, July 7, two 14-year-old boys from Podgorodnoye, a nearby village, were attacked in the broad daylight as they went fishing. One of the two friends, Andrei Sidyuck, was killed, but the other, Vadim Lyakhov, managed to escape.
On July 12, a 48-year-old man named Sergei Yatzenko, disabled by a recent bout with cancer, went missing while riding his Dnepr motorcycle. His body was found four days later, with signs of a savage attack clearly visible even after four days in the summer heat.
Thirteen more murders followed, often with multiple bodies found in the same day. In addition to the earlier sprees, two victims were found every day from July 14 through 16. Victims were seemingly selected at random. Many were vulnerable to attack, including women, children, elderly, vagrants, or people under the influence of alcohol.
Most of the victims were killed using blunt objects, including hammers and steel construction bars. Blows were often directed at the victims' faces, leaving them unrecognizable. Many victims were also mutilated and tortured, and some had their eyes gouged out while they were still alive. One of the victims was a pregnant woman, whose fetus was cut out of her womb. No sexual assaults on any victims were reported.
Some of the victims were also robbed of their cell phones and other valuables, with their possessions pawned to a large network of second-hand shops in the area. However, most victims had their possessions intact.
The murders spanned a large geographical area. In addition to the city of Dnepropetrovsk itself, many took place in the outlying areas of the Dnepropetrovsk Oblast.

Motive
The prosecution did not establish a specific motive behind the killings. Local media reported that the killers had a plan to get rich from the murder videos that they recorded although they come from very rich and powerful families. One of the suspects' girlfriends reported that they were planning to make forty videos of separate murders. This was corroborated by the suspects' former classmate, who claimed that he often heard Suprunyuck was in contact with an unknown "rich foreign website operator" who ordered forty snuff videos, and would pay a large sum of money once they were made. Regional security chief Ivan Stupak rejected the claim that the murders had been committed to make Internet snuff videos, saying that no evidence had come to light during the investigation that supported the claim. Detective Bogdan Vlasenko stated: "We think they were doing it as a hobby, to have a collection of memories when they get old." Deputy interior minister Nikolay Kupyanskiy commented "For these young men, murder was like entertainment or hunting."
At the trial, it emerged that Suprunyuck had collected newspaper cuttings about the case. Some of the photographs of the crimes had captions added, including "The weak must die. The strongest will conquer."
So obviously they were just having fun.

The Story in Brief:

Killed 21 people, they started with small animals and moved to humans

Later on one of the suspects quit and 2 guys continued to murder. Also they attended funerals of their victims, and took pics
They are thought to have used iron pipes and hammers on their victims. Mobile phone footage also suggests they practiced on cats, dogs and other animals first
They all come from rich families and have allegedly admitted they committed the crimes just for fun
Detectives say that the killers weren’t targeting anyone in particular. They just picked up people who looked like they wouldn’t fight back
12 murders were filmed, over 300 photos were presented in court. First victim was killed with metal rods, but it took some time so they moved to hammers

The Murder Video
This is the only video out of many that was leaked into the internet and it couldn't be controlled by any authorities saying that controlling the footage is virtually impossible. The victim in the video cheated death twice before the murder took place, one with a terrible accident when he survived and the other with throat cancer and he was treated. A while after he got murdered, but still, even in the video you're about to see, they split his face in half with a hammer, they poke his stomach and his intestines with a screwdriver and he tries to get up. Then they poke his eye out with a screwdriver and insert it all the way deep inside his brain and move it inside, still he felt the pain and surprisingly put his hand on the eye socket where the screw driver was literally inside his brain crushing it. They they hit him with a hammer on the side of his face several times and still he was moving and breathing heavily feeling every bit of the pain. He had his face split in half literally, eyes poked out, intestines played with and brain messed with and he was still moving on the ground. Then they run and wash their hands and start laughing at him. They were even laughing at him while making him and his face completely unrecognizable.

The Sex Illusion
The third place award went for the below pair of pictures below. One appears to be male and the second appears to be female. The truth is they are the same identical photo for one person but each one is digitally enhanced to create this incredible illusion. In the female picture, the dark parts are a little lighter and the light parts are a little darker. The subtle changes suggest that one way our brains may sort out sex is to notice how strong the contrast is between features. This illusion is created by Richard Russel of Harvard University.

The Colored Dove
In second place was an illusion of ghostly colors. Stare at a waterfall for a few minutes, look away, and the still world around you will appear to flow. The effect is called an "afterimage."
Scientists in Israel created a drawing of a sky with clouds that flashes red for a split second. A white dove flying across the sky seems to turn red seconds after the flash, showing that an afterimage color can linger in our vision and bleed into empty spaces.

Holy Curveballs
Look at the spinning ball directly. It seems to fly straight. But look at the blue dot and the ball's spin fools your brain into thinking that the ball is curving. A flying baseball passes from central to peripheral vision so it appears to jerk.
This year's winning illusion, created by Arthur Shapiro of Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, may explain this phenomena. His animation shows a spinning ball that, when watched directly, moves in a straight line. When seen out of the corner of the eye, however, the spin of the ball fools the brain into thinking that the ball is curving.

Swine Flu Pandemic - Worse than Bird Flu and Mad Cow Disease

It was controlled in 1976, 2005, 2006 and wasn't talked much about because the cure was easy to be made for it. Except the one spreading now. Influenza viruses, generally, tend to change shapes and forms so the body immune won't find them easily.

The new Swine H1N1 Virus is a mixture of bird, swine and human viruses merged inside the pig's respiratory system creating a strong fatal virus with an almost impossible cure.

The pandemic started showing in Mexico, then reported in US, then in New Zealand, and now in Canada. It's obviously spreading fast before the cure is found killing almost 150 infected in the world (WHO) since 24th of April 2009.

This is not an average Influenza, we were scared to the bones when we heard about the Mad Cow Disease and then about the Bird Flu, well, this is so far the scariest one. Originally Swine Flu only infects pigs, but unfortunately the one that has evolved now is able to pass the infection from pigs and humans and from humans to humans.

What is Swine Flu?
Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza virus that regularly causes outbreaks of influenza in pigs. Swine flu viruses cause high levels of illness and low death rates in pigs. Swine influenza viruses may circulate among swine throughout the year, but most outbreaks occur during the late fall and winter months similar to outbreaks in humans. The classical swine flu virus (an influenza type A H1N1 virus) was first isolated from a pig in 1930.

Sporadic swine influenza A virus (SIV) infection of humans may produce a wide range of clinical signs and symptoms. Many human cases of swine influenza A virus infection have had a history of recent direct physical contact with pigs prior to illness onset. However, close (within 6 feet), but not direct contact with pigs, also has been reported among human swine influenza A virus cases. Limited, non sustained human-to-human swine influenza A virus transmission has been documented in the published literature. In addition, some confirmed swine influenza A virus cases have not had a history of exposure to pigs.

What are the Symptoms?
The symptoms of swine flu in people are expected to be similar to the symptoms of regular human seasonal influenza and include fever, lethargy, lack of appetite and coughing. Some people with swine flu also have reported runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

How does Swine Flu Spread?
Influenza viruses can be directly transmitted from pigs to people and from people to pigs. Human infection with flu viruses from pigs are most likely to occur when people are in close proximity to infected pigs, such as in pig barns and livestock exhibits housing pigs at fairs. Human-to-human transmission of swine flu can also occur. This is thought to occur in the same way as seasonal flu occurs in people, which is mainly person-to-person transmission through coughing or sneezing of people infected with the influenza virus. People may become infected by touching something with flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.

Can People Catch Swine Flu from Eating Pork?
No. Swine influenza viruses are not transmitted by food. You can not get swine influenza from eating pork or pork products. Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C) kills the swine flu virus as it does other bacteria and viruses.

How to Prevent Swine Flu?
Prevention is always better than cure, please consider the following:

Always cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing; ideally use something disposable like a tissue. Avoid touching your face, nose or mouth too frequently with your hands since swine flu appears to be transmitted through respiratory droplets in the same fashion as the common cold.
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water since swine flu like other viruses can be contracted by touching objects contaminated by the virus. It's unsure how long the swine flu virus can survive on surrounding surfaces.
Though alcohol based hand sanitizers don't routinely kill viruses they probably do offer some limited protection in preventing swine flu infections.
If swine flu infections have been medically confirmed in your area consider avoiding large public gatherings. Individuals can be contagious with the swine flu virus for several day before demonstrating any signs or symptoms of infection. Be particularly careful about indoor gatherings where air circulates poorly.
If you're really paranoid and don't mind looking odd then consider wearing a respiratory mask. This barrier method does offer some basic protection against infection though not all masks are created equally. Higher quality masks capable of filtering out some respiratory infections are more expensive.
If you start feeling ill with cold or flu-like symptoms do not go to work. Stay home and begin the usual home remedies for colds and flu. Contact your health care provider, local health department or hospital emergency room if your symptoms worsen or fail to improve for information about where to go to be screened for possible swine flu infection.

Is There a Treatment for the Swine Flu?
There are four different antiviral drugs that are licensed for use in the US for the treatment of influenza: amantadine, rimantadine, oseltamivir and zanamivir. While most swine influenza viruses have been susceptible to all four drugs, the most recent swine influenza viruses isolated from humans are resistant to amantadine and rimantadine. At this time, CDC recommends the use of oseltamivir or zanamivir for the treatment and/or prevention of infection with swine influenza viruses.

Remember -- This is a pandemic, it is an epidemic outbreak that will affect large groups to the extent of entire countries and continents and it's spreading really really fast so it's not something to be taken lightly. Hopefully they will find a cure quickly before it affects more because it's estimated that if the outbreak isn't controlled or cured within 100, atleast 2,000,000 deaths will be reported worldwide. So for now, all I know is that it's not controlled, it will be cured soon enough hopefully. Everyone just take care and follow the simple guidelines so it's easier to be controlled.

Bees are dying faster and faster everyday. This is not a good sign because they are the one and most creature that contributes in the pollination of flowers and plants. They are responsible for the production of the best element ever known to man, Honey.

For 2 years, scientists have been studying those sudden mysterious deaths and so far they couldn't come up with one exact answer, they came up with a million theories but not answers.

I believe that bee deaths are not a mysterious acts, it's just a result of the human race abusing their production of honey and a result of the human race not paying attention to the caring for them and not paying attention on the significance of their existence in our lives.

Hopefully an answer will be figured out and a solution will be applied because we're at a stage where we are fighting to keep species alive no matter what they are or where they live.

If an animal isn't enjoying sex, it will never orgasm or reach climax, that's why some animals fight in the middle of the sex because it's either the female doesn't enjoy it or the male doesn't. In most cases the female is the picky one, same cases as in humans.
