Aloha Members, 

It
 is with a heavy heart that I write to let you know that our member and 
editor of the North Shore News died Sunday morning.  It is a shock to 
many of us as he kept his illness private.  Pastor Ron did so much for 
our community that we will feel his absence for years to come.

The 15th annual Haleiwa Arts Festival is this coming weekend. Stop by the Main Street/Chamber's booth to say hello and take one of 
the historical bus tours of the area. Tours are 11:00am, 12:30, 2:30, 
and 4:00pm.  Our local historians/docents narrate the tours and you get 
to go off-road to some interesting sites!

The North Shore Chamber of Commerce's annual "Christmas in Historic Haleiwa" Haleiwa Town Christmas Parade is tomorrow, December 9th .  Photos with Santa will be at the North Shore Marketplace from 4:00 to 5:30 PM before the parade and after the parade until 8:30 PM.  The parade will include up to 50 units.
