Jim Russell Northern California Rotax Challenge Season Finale at Dixon this weekend.

The most successful Jim Russell Northern California Rotax Challenge ever will run its last race of the season at the Kinsmen Kart Club in Dixon on Sunday, November 8th. This will be the tenth and final race of the 2009 season and will be the first time the series will finish its season at a track other than the Jim Russell International Karting Center track at Infineon Raceway. Even though several class championships have been locked up, there are still two classes with championships too close to call and several other classes where 2nd or 3rd place finishes in the championship are still to be determined.

The Jim Russell Northern California Rotax Challenge final Race is next weekend at Kinsmen Kart Club, Dixon. The weather is now looking good for Saturday practice and Sunday racing. Come out and enjoy the last race of the year.

Kyle Gimple to drive in 25 hour enduro race at Thunderhill Raceway December 5-6!

Exciting News!!!!! We received the confirmation this morning: Kyle Gimple officially has a seat in the 25 hour enduro race at Thunderhill Raceway December 5-6! He is the 5th and final driver for the team based out of Washington. And to top it off, the race team will be filmed for a documentary that will air next year. Way to go Kyle.

US Rotax Needs Your Stories

The Rotax Program wants to tell your Rotax and Karting related stories. We are looking for short stories about your experiences in the Rotax program. We want to hear about how you got started in Karting and why you run Rotax. We also want to hear about your experiences with kart shops, mechanics, and local racing series. We will be publishing these stories on our website, on ekartingnews, NKN and Go Racing magazines. Do not worry if you are not a writer, we have journalist to proof read the stories. These stories are your chance to share a little about yourself with the Karting community.

Class Championships still on the line after Race #9 of the 2009 Jim Russell Northern California Rotax Challenge

Round #9 of the Jim Russell Northern California Rotax Challenge struck it rich with an unseasonably, warm weather day for the last race at Jim Russell International Karting Center at Infineon Raceway. The event marked the final round for the 80 Shifter classes, while the Northern California Rotax Challenge still has one more race left to determine the class champions.

Just a reminder that race #10 at Dixon on Sunday November 8 is on unless it rains. Dixon does not run races in the rain. So, plan on coming out and running the last race of the season.

The Jim Russell Northern California Rotax Challenge will hold Race #9 this weekend at Infineon Raceway returning to the original long straightaway National track configuration. The event marks the final round for the 80 Shifters and the 2009 class champion will be crowned at the end of the day. For the Jim Russell Northern California Rotax Challenge, Round #9 is the final event of the season at Infineon Raceway. Race #10 will be held at Dixon.
