I kid, I kid – we’re back for good. Or at least through this next bit of story. Nah, let’s say for good.  It’s been a crazy couple of months, lots of life-changing stuff happening. Rolling with them punches!

… and by rolling, I mean on my belly, as I stress eat terrible things. And draw comics.

(Gotta finish this story before the world ends, after all.)

Good gracious, what is this, December???  A few things:

- Sorry about November. It was a weird month.

- So, pretty much from here on out, this finale, of sorts, I have had beat for beat in my head for over a year. At least. And I always thought that once I reached this part of the story, it would just fly. I’d huddle in my little art hovel and draw draw DRAW until it was done. But when it came time to sit down and do it, it simply felt IMPOSSIBLE.  Trying to get as close as I could to what I had in my head for so long was a TASK. *IS* a task, seeing as it’s not done yet.  I want to say that it’s the result of over-thinking it, which could definitely be a factor, but I think it’s more in my mind that I’m finally here, finally climbing that final hurdle in this OGN that wasn’t originally meant to be an OGN and coming to that conclusion. It’s crazy. When you add in the multiple page updates and eventual bonus stuff for the eventual (I hope) book, it’s going to be close to 200 pages. Of comics. That I fought tooth and nail to draw. That dream of wanting to be a cartoonist – after a short stint of wanting to be a chef in kindergarden -  is starting to become real. It’s an amazing feeling, I hope it never goes away.

- Also, I’ve begun taking baby-steps towards a BRAND NEW, completely unrelated to Tofu, comics ROMP. It hindered the updates a bit, but more on that next year.

Sooooooo… how you been? How are things?

So Pub can’t do the T-Space thing near graveyards without releasing spirits.  Canon.

Halloween RULES!

This one is aptly titled, I think.  Thanks for the patience this week, guys.  I strongly, strongly urge you to either keep an eye on my twitter OR tumblr for news regarding update delays and the like (along with much MUCH neater things, like Muppets!) October has been a BUSY month so far, but I’m hoping to get caught up over the weekend!  Monday’s comic should be there, well, Monday.  If not, you know what to do.

UPDATE (10/17): Sticking this here to be self-ironic. There will be no update this week, sorry guys.

UPDATE #2 (10/24):  There likely won’t be an official update THIS week either!  Oh noooooo
But here’s a quick Bat-Herbin comic for you!  We’ll be back for Halloween with a spoooky update!  After that things should return to normal. See ya then!

THE CHOOOOORRRRGGG!!!(!!)

There was a (tiny) part of me that was never sure if we’d get this far, but man, we did!  We’re really getting close to the end of this story, aren’t we?  I mean, THE CHORG! HE’S HERE!  HE’S A GIANT EGG AT THE MOMENT!!  I’m pretty stoked about it.

And since we’re on the topic of things coming to fruition, let me take a quick moment to give a hearty AAWW YIIISSS to one of my favorite people, Josh Hechinger, for his first true blue graphic novel finally hitting retailers!  It has been a long time coming and I am so very happy for you, Josh! Congrats dude!!!(!!!)

Yep, looks to be a one-off this week*.  Why? Because the next story update (next week) is going to be insane and I need the extra time.  You’ll see – I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
