Does the perfect weapon theme song chorus phrase ring a bell “don’t call it a comeback” in regards to Nokia, well it does to me and with these leaked pics of the upcoming Meego based Nokia N9, why wouldn’t it. Elder, aka 007 Nokia, has revealed some amazing pictures that shed some light as to what the N9 will look like, although this is obviously a prototype, we all know that Nokia pretty much follows through on their leaked pictures. Did someone say “mac book pro” look, well I look at my MBP and look at the N9 and they certainly look like a match made in Cupertino heaven check out these shots. In one word “wow” is the sentiment that trickles down my spine, lovely device indeed.

Great news from the Ovi store, good ole Jan Ole Suhr, the developer of the best Symbian application Gravity, just retweeted something that grabbed my attention and it was a link to the Ovi Store statistics and Nokia displaying some impressive numbers. I highlight some of theme here for you guys.

This is great news, I actually thought the Ovi Store was doing a lot worse but these are some very nice and young numbers as I am sure that in the next 24 months these numbers should increase dramatically with devices rocking Symbian 4.

Nokia please pay large sums of money so that popular apps in the Apple and Android app store get ported over to Symbian, its only money for you guys and if you choose not to advertise all that much in certain markets ie. United States, then let your application platform do the talking. Some of the apps we need are:

A quick ass Facebook application, not the current one
A killer Twitter app or why not just buy Gravity and port it natively with all devices, Twitter bought Tweetie for the Iphone and now its a native app with some killer functionality so in my opinion Gravity and Jan Ole Suhr can fill that void and ramify from the Gravity framework to other apps, just a thought Nokia but why compete with the best application out there, hmm.

Guys we also need a revamped PIM set of applications but ahh tons more, I digress, you guys already know but you must be like the American company Nike.

Its always nice to read great reviews on your hot mobile devices, here we have one from one of my favorite Symbian themers, you all know him by now, he’s name is Dhanu Saud from DHSthemes

Recently I got a chance to trial the Nokia N900 from womworld, & I want to express big thanks to whole entire team for giving me a chance to understand & know the new OS as well as UI other than Symbian OS. N900 is one of the best of the best mobile computer by Nokia comes with full mobile computing & lots of features that every mobile geek needs. The Maemo 5 OS based on Debain Linux distribution, & lots of features included Nokia N900 definitely have a wow factor. It makes a different experience than mobile OS, feels like operating mini laptop.

A new twitter client has arisen for Symbian with a very unique and cute name, its called Trill. It looks very basic and certainly not at the level of Gravity but its in the same leagues as other 3rd tier twitter clients, you really just have to see for yourself. Its free and perhaps its a good match for someone who just needs something basic. Ovi store link

Very interesting and check out the price $917.82 dollars, oh my, I can put another $70 buy a Mac Book for that price. In my opinion, the N8 is too overpriced, Nokia should price this handset at a modest $479.99 USD to garnish market share. I’m afraid at those skyrocket prices we’ll be looking at another Nokia N900 ordeal.

Web site already has available for sale the Nokia N8 for 6300 yuan = 917.82 USD, also have a physical store located in Beijing. You´ll see all the images in the store and it seems that it is not a fake or a clone N8. CEO Lee Williams also announced via Twitter Symbian this week They will make an important announcement and he is already in China and although officially announced another brand with the New Renovated Symbian, here is the proof that he has gone on sale first Nokia Symbian N8

With the large array of mobile phones now available on the market today, is it really worth forking out for an iPhone 4? The iPhone has taken the world by storm and has far outsold any other mobile phone available, but it does have its problems and they have been widely reported. Signal Problems

Apple have claimed that part of the signal issues that the iPhone 4 has been having is due to a Software fault causing an “Optical Illusion”, that makes the signal strength look as though it has dropped.

Yellow Patches on Screen

Many people have reported that their iPhone 4 has been showing yellow ´blotches´ on the screen. This has been identified as a problem with the laminating process during the screens creation.

iPhone 4 Uses Micro SIM

Although the iPhone 4 is available in an unlocked state, it uses a Micro SIM card. This is all good, but it means that you can´t just pop in your old SIM card. It´s another way that Apple are preventing you from using other products.

You are Tied to Apple

The Apple iPhone 4 will still not display Flash websites, because Apple doesn’t like Flash. It also means that, like in other versions of the iPhone, the iPhone 4 will only use Apple applications making it difficult to have the freedom that you would with an Android phone.

The Apple iPhone 4 has definitely made an impact on the mobile phone market, but there are better phones and deals out there. Apple still put their extra percentage on each iPhone 4 contract and a massive mark-up on their phones, and with all of the reported problems, is it really worth buying over an Android phone? It seems like the Silicon Valley folks are chiming in according to Bloomberg and telling us what they think Nokia needs amidsts all the turbulence that’s been going lately, with talks of ousting OPK and the Nokia N8 coming soon, it almost seems like it too much to handle to quick. Only time will tell and the devices will speak for themselves. The N8 has lots of expectations and I surely do hope that Nokia can meet those. I cheering for you guys Nokia, make it happen, dazzle us with your innovations.
