A country code top-level domain (ccTLD) is an Internet top-level domain generally used or reserved for a country or a dependent territory.

ccTLD identifiers are two letters long, and all two-letter top-level domains are ccTLDs. Creation and delegation of ccTLDs is performed by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), and with certain exceptions noted below corresponds to the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country codes maintained by the United Nations.

Delegation and management

The IANA (currently contracted to ICANN) is responsible for determining an appropriate trustee for each ccTLD. Administration and control is then delegated to that entity, which is responsible for the policies and operation of the domain; the current delegation can be determined from IANA's list of ccTLDs. Individual ccTLDs may thus have varying requirements and fees for registering subdomains. There may be a local presence requirement (for instance, citizenship or other connection to the ccTLD), as for example the Canadian (ca) and German (de) domains, or registration may be open.

8:1 And it came about, after a short time, that he went through town and country giving the good news of the kingdom of God, and with him were the twelve,

8:2 And certain women who had been made free from evil spirits and diseases, Mary named Magdalene, from whom seven evil spirits had gone out,

8:3 And Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's chief house-servant, and Susanna and a number of others, who gave him of their wealth for his needs.

8:4 And when a great number of people came together, and men from every town went out to him, he gave them teaching in the form of a story:

8:5 A man went out to put in seed, and while he was doing it, some was dropped by the wayside and it was crushed under foot, and was taken by the birds of heaven.

8:6 And some went on the rock, and when it came up it became dry and dead because it had no water.

8:7 And some went among thorns, and the thorns came up with it and it had no room for growth.

8:8 And some falling on good earth, came up and gave fruit a hundred times as much. And with these words he said in a loud voice, He who has ears, let him give ear.

8:9 And his disciples put questions to him about the point of the story.

8:10 And he said, To you is given knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God; but to the others, they are given in stories, so that seeing, they may not see, and though they give hearing, the sense will not be clear to them.

8:11 Now this is the point of the story: The seed is the word of God.

8:12 Those by the side of the road are those who have given hearing; then the Evil One comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not have faith and get salvation.

8:13 And those on the rock are those who with joy give hearing to the word; but having no root, they have faith for a time, and when the test comes they give up.

8:14 And those which went among thorns are those who have given hearing, and go on their way, but they are overcome by cares and wealth and the pleasures of life, and they give no fruit.

8:29 For he gave an order to the evil spirit to come out of the man. For frequently it would take a grip of him: and he was kept under control, and prisoned with chains; but parting the chains in two, he would be sent by the driving of the evil spirit into waste places.

8:30 And Jesus said to him, What is your name? And he said, Legion; for a number of spirits had gone into him.

8:31 And they made a request to him that he would not give them an order to go away into the deep.

8:32 Now there was a great herd of pigs in that place, getting food on the mountain: and the evil spirits made a request to him that he would let them go into the pigs, and he let them.

8:33 And the evil spirits came out of the man and went into the pigs: and the herd went rushing down a sharp slope into the water and came to destruction.

8:34 And when the men who took care of them saw what had come about, they went quickly and gave news of it in the town and the country.

8:35 And they went out to see what had taken place, and they came to Jesus and saw the man out of whom the evil spirits had gone, seated, clothed and with full use of his senses, at the feet of Jesus; and fear came on them.

8:36 And those who had seen it gave them an account of how the man who had the evil spirits was made well.

8:37 And all the people of the country of the Gerasenes made a request to him to go away from them; for they were in great fear: and he got into a boat and went back.

8:38 But the man from whom the evil spirits had gone out had a great desire to be with him, but he sent him away, saying,

8:39 Go back to your house and let them have news of all the great things which God has done for you. And he went away, giving word through all the town of the great things which Jesus had done for him.

8:40 And when Jesus went back, the people were glad to see him, for they were all waiting for him.

8:49 While he was still talking, someone came from the house of the ruler of the Synagogue, saying, Your daughter is dead; do not go on troubling the Master.

8:50 But Jesus at these words said to him, Have no fear, only have faith, and she will be made well.

8:51 And when he came to the house he did not let any man go in with him, but only Peter and John and James, and the father of the girl and her mother.

8:52 And all the people were weeping and crying for her; but he said, Do not be sad, for she is not dead, but sleeping.

8:55 And her spirit came back to her and she got up straight away: and he gave orders that food was to be given to her.

2:18 Because through him the two of us are able to come near in one Spirit to the Father.

2:1 For this reason there is the more need for us to give attention to the things which have come to our ears, for fear that by chance we might be slipping away.

2:2 Because if the word which came through the angels was fixed, and in the past every evil act against God's orders was given its full punishment;

2:3 What will come on us, if we do not give our minds to such a great salvation? a salvation of which our fathers first had knowledge through the words of the Lord, and which was made certain to us by those to whom his words came;

2:4 And God was a witness with them, by signs and wonders, and by more than natural powers, and by his distribution of the Holy Spirit at his pleasure.

2:5 For he did not make the angels rulers over the world to come, of which I am writing.

2:6 But a certain writer has given his witness, saying, What is man, that you keep him in mind? what is the son of man, that you take him into account?

2:7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you gave him a crown of glory and honour, and made him ruler over all the works of your hands:

2:8 You put all things under his feet. For in making man the ruler over all things, God did not put anything outside his authority; though we do not see everything under him now.

2:9 But we see him who was made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, crowned with glory and honour, because he let himself be put to death so that by the grace of God he might undergo death for all men.

2:10 Because it was right for him, for whom and through whom all things have being, in guiding his sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation complete through pain.

2:15 And let those who all their lives were in chains because of their fear of death, go free.

2:16 For, truly, he does not take on the life of angels, but that of the seed of Abraham.

2:17 Because of this it was necessary for him to be made like his brothers in every way, so that he might be a high priest full of mercy and keeping faith in everything to do with God, making offerings for the sins of the people.

Bulldog breeds

Bulldog is a collective name for various breeds of dog.

Baiting sports

The bloodsport of baiting animals has occurred since antiquity, most famously in the Roman Colosseum; however, in later centuries, it is most associated with the English, who pursued it with utmost earnestness, which was barely known elsewhere in the world. For over six hundred years the pastime flourished, reaching the peak of its popularity during the sixteenth century. The various animal types involved in the bait resulted in the breed specialization and basic anatomical forms of fighting dogs, which we still see today.

Old English Bulldog

The first historical traces of bull-baiting occur in the time of the regency of King John. Enraged steers, specially bred for their aggressive nature, were used to test the keenness of dogs. A collar around the bull's neck was fastened to a thick rope about three to five metres long, attached to a hook, then fastened to an embedded stake that turned, allowing the bull to watch its antagonizer.

The dog's goal in the attack was to pin and mercilessly hold onto the bull's nose, which is its most sensitive spot. If the dog gripped tightly, the bull became virtually helpless. To avoid this attack, experienced fighting bulls lowered their heads as much as possible in the direction of the attacking dog, protecting their noses and meeting the attacker with only their horns, tossing the dog into the air. The dog reciprocated by staying low to the ground as it crept towards the bull. These tactics resulted in a specialized breed in the form of the now-extinct original Old English Bulldog. This breed was extremely compact, broad, and muscular. A particular characteristic of the breed was the lower jaw that projected considerably in front of the upper jaw, which made possible the strong, vice-like grip. The nose was deeply set, which allowed the dog to get enough air as it gripped the bull. The contemporary recreation of the breed is called the Olde Englishe Bulldogge.

English Bulldog

The English Bulldog of today is a far cry from its ancestor, which made its name by excelling in arranged combat. This breed of bulldog may be a fine animal to own for its sweet disposition, but it has maintained nothing of the tenacity, speed, and agility that were the definitive characteristics of the Old English Bulldog.

Pen pal

Pen pals (or penpals or pen friends) are people who regularly write to each other, in particular in the case of postal mail. A penpal relationship is often used to practice writing and reading in a foreign language, improving literacy, to learn more about other countries and life-styles, and to ameliorate loneliness. Some people remain penpals for only a short time, while others continue to exchange letters and presents life-long. Some penpals eventually arrange to meet in face to face. Penpals come in all ages, nationalities and cultures. Being part of a penpal network can be a way to gain a valuable understanding of the world, and an appreciation for cultures and lifestyles very different to your own.

Many people writing to a penpal are not using their native language in their letters.

A modern variation on the traditional penpal arrangement is to have a keypal and exchange email addresses as well as or instead of paper letters. This has the advantage of saving money, but also the disadvantage that the communication is very ephemeral. Many people prefer to receive paper letters, gaining the satisfaction of seeing their name carefully printed on a thick envelope in the letterbox. Using postal mail, it is possible to trade postcards, stamps and anything else light and flat enough to fit inside an envelope.

Penpal clubs can be found on the Internet, in magazine columns, newspapers, and sometimes through clubs or special interest groups. Some people are looking for romantic interests, while others just want to find friends. Penpals also make and pass around friendship books. There is also a non-profit humanitarian penpal organisation, Human Writes [1] through which people all over the world correspond with prisoners on US death row (although corresponding with prisoners is popular, care should be taken to follow the rules - see [2] and [3]).

The Australian author Geraldine Brooks wrote a memoir Foreign Correspondence (1997) about her childhood which was enriched by her exchanges of letters with other children both in Australia and overseas and her travels as an adult in search of the people they had become.

It is one of three islands called The Palm Islands which extend into the Persian Gulf, increasing Dubai’s shoreline by a total of 520 km. The Palm Jumeirah is the smallest and the original of three Palm Islands (Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira) under development by Nakheel. AH1N1 in Romania

174 persons was infected by the virus AAH1N1 last week, the total number of the infected people by the new influenza A virus subtype becoming now 555, since may this year. 34 from the 174 new patients were infected by the virus contracted abroad, and 140 are cases with secondary transmission. There are now five schools closed: two in Bucharest, and one in Iasi, Dolj and Suceva.

New railway accident in Romania

A fast train was hit this morning by a locomotive, between Timisoara and Sighetu Marmaţei, near the Romuli city. The train was stopped when the electric locomotive hit it. There are three bad hurt people that need medical assistance.
