Acer Segera Luncurkan Ponsel Android

Acer yang selama ini kita kenal bergelut di bidang perkoputeran, kini mulai merambah dunia pertelekomunikasian. Perusahaan komputer terbesar ketiga di dunia tersebut akan memperkenalkan produk telepon seluler pada tahun ini. Produknya itu akan dioperasikan oleh perangkat lunak android Google. Demikian dikatakan salah satu kepala unit Google, Aymar de Lencquesaing, di Paris, Rabu (20/5) waktu setempat.

Ia menjelaskan, Acer akan menjual sepuluh model. Salah satu modelnya akan menggunakan perangkat lunak buatan Microsoft.

Acer telah memasuki bisnis smartphone atau ponsel pintar tahun ini dengan mengakuisisi perusahaan Eten Information Systems dari Taiwan pada tahun 2008. Tentunya, kehadiran Acer akan meramaikan pasar smartphone yang juga telah diisi pesaing dari merek komputer lain. Sebut saja, Hewlett-Packard dan Lenovo.

Acer memperkirakan dapat meraih pangsa pasar smartphone enam hingga tujuh persen antara tahun 2012-3013. Namun, sampai saat ini Acer belum berminat mengeluarkan produk telepon seluler untuk kalangan menengah.

Jadi untuk para penggemar dunia gadget masih harus bersabar menunggu produk ponsel keluaran Acer yang harganya terjangkau. Stay cool oke ...:)

Only BlackBerry? Other Smartphone also Can

Blackberry services not only can be used in the BlackBerry smartphone. Type of other brand smartphone with the Symbian operating system or Windows Mobile can also access the BlackBerry.

BlackBerry actually not only a product but a service. GSM operators in Indonesia have been providing service for BlackBerry Connect phone - the phone with a subscription to BlackBerry service is operator.

The first time you should do is download the software from the BlackBerry service - each and every type of vendor should also be in accordance with its version of the OS. This is because the software always produced a pitch-register at the Rim (Research In Motion) as the connection.

After the appropriate software installed, make sure your card has been used on the BlackBerry Service with the request to its service to enable service features according to the operator’s service.

Configuring E-mail

To see if BlackBerry service is active, see the two things on the phone the data packet (GPRS/3G) running stable, with the BlackBerry logo in conditions not crossed, meaning that the service is already running with the stable.

Limitations

2. For internet services via Blackberry APN (only valid in some service), can only work on the BlackBerry device, so that non-BlackBerry user can not use the BlackBerry APN for internet connection but can only be used for e-mail BlackBerry Service.
3. Connection to POP, IMAP, freemail, can not synchronize the calendar with the contacts.

Three Tips To Extend The Duration of Notebook’s Battery

Hemmm ... Imagine of being in a serious condition and do an important job. Then suddenly your notebook battery is empty. To avoid things that irritate, and you should know the tricks to extend the length of battery.

1. Reduce notebook screen to a still comfortable level

Notebook screen is a component of most drain resistance of battery, so that high-low brightness level will affect the duration battery significantly.

2. Disable the devices that does not need to

There are several ports and components that you may rarely use the consuming components power such as DVD Writer, FireWire, Express Card. Disabled only through the “Device Manager” (right-click “My Computer”> “Properties”> “Hardware”> “Device Manager”) and if at any time you need it, you can switch back.

3. Set the Power Option

All operating systems have Power Options set the behavior of the notebook on the particular circumstances. You can choose is the best performance (which is wasteful electricity) or the longestduration. You can also set the settings with the monitor off or go to the system if notebook hybernate idle in a certain time.

Penertiban PKL Memakan Korban Anak Balita

Sudah sering kita dengar dan saksikan setiap kali ada "penertiban" PKL oleh Satpol PP ada saja kesan yang tidak bagus yang ditimbulkan setelahnya. Kekerasan, ketidak-ramahan dan lain sebagainya tindakan yang kurang bahkan tidak "berperasaan" terkesan selalu mengiringi setiap kali Pemkot daerah tertentu melalui tangan kanannya, Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja.

Kejadian seperti ini terulang untuk kesekian kalinya dan baru-baru ini terjadi di sekitar Boulevard di Jalan Pemuda Surabaya. Horiyah (4) putri pasangan Bunali dan Sumariyah mengalami luka bakar akibat tersiram kuah panas bakso saat operasi penertiban PKL oleh Satpol PP kota tersebut. Saat ini balita tersebut sedang menjalani operasi luka bakar di Rumah Sakit Umum (RSUD) Dr Soetomo Surabaya.

Kepala Instalasi Rawat Darurat IRD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya, Urip Murtedjo menyatakan, kondisi korban saat ini dalam kondisi kritis. Tubuh korban mengalami sekitar 67 persen luka bakar di wajah, dada dan tangan.

Luka bakar yang diderita bocah ini mengenai wajah, dada dan kedua tangannya. Usai dioperasi korban akan dirawat di ruang observasi intensif dalam kurun waktu kurang lebih 2x 24 jam karena kondisinya yang sangat kritis itu. Bila sudah melewati kritis, maka pasien akan dilakukan operasi tandur kulit atau skin graft untuk mendapatkan kulit baru.

Peristiwa itu terjadi saat petugas Satpol PP yang sedang melakukan operasi rutin penertiban PKL di sekitar Boulevard Jalan Pemuda Surabaya, mengetahui ada pedagang yang berusaha kabur, petugas Satpol PP mengejar "buruannya". Begitu berhasil menangkap pedagang dan gerobaknya, petugas Satpol PP kemudian menggulingkan gerobak penjual bakso tersebut.

Namun fatal, kuah panas menyiram sekujur tubuh Horiyah hingga mengalami luka bakar 67 persen. Yang lebih tragis lagi, akhirnya Horiyah meninggal dunia setelah menjalani perawatan di RSUD Dr Soetomo Surabaya sejak pekan lalu. Horiyah hanyalah salah satu korban dari sekian korban kebrutalan petugas Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja selama ini.

Sementara itu, Wakil Komandan Peleton (Wadanton) Satpol PP Surabaya Wahyudi sebagai yang bertanggung jawab, saat ini telah dijadikan tersangka dan ditahan polisi. Wahyudi dijerat Pasal 360 KUHP tentang kelalaian menyebabkan luka-luka atau mati. Sebelumnya, Wahyudi dikenakan 2 pasal oleh Polsek Genteng, yakni 360 KUHP dan 351 KUHP tentang penganiayaan.

Huuhhh ... sungguh miris hati melihat kejadian seperti ini. "Penertiban" yang seharusnya dilakukan dengan tertib dan sopan. Semoga hal ini menjadi pelajaran bagi pihak-pihak yang bersangkutan agar bisa saling memahami satu sama lain.
