For the fault the only answer i can give is if the home button is stuck or maybe a software update is required. But if your going to upgrade do not get a PSPGo or the 3000. The PSPGo is more of a fashion item than a gaming console and the 3000 is a little bit stupid. Try to get the 2000 which is cheaper and hackable. When you hack a PSP a new world opens to you. Apart from the dreadfull illegal market you can get all sorts of homebrew to enhance your PSP or just for the fun of it, you can get apps that have alarm clocks or make the psp faster or, using the PSP 2000 you can run 2-3 apps at once. You can play a UMD while reading a book and deleteing some old songs. Basiclly 3000 is good and way better than the PSPGo but you'll be missing out on the homebrew.

Get the 3000 if you want to stay legit, get the 2000 if you want to go further.

The 40GB PS3 is NOT backward compatible. There are only three PS3 models that are backward compatible: 20GB PS3 (CECHB01), 60GB PS3 (CECHA01), and the Limited Edition 80GB MotorStorm and MGS4 Bundle PS3s (CECHE01).

The 20GB and 60GB can play 99% of PS2 games, the Limited Edition 80GB MotorStorm and MGS4 Bundle PS3 can play 80% of PS2 games. All PS3s can play limited PS1 games.

The 40GB PS3 was released in November 2007, and took the place of the 20GB PS3 (the Limited Edition 80GB Bundles took the place of the 60GB PS3). The 60GB PS3 is the most coveted PS3 because it can play 99% of PS2 games. The 20GB can as well, but it is the only PS3 that does not have built in Wi-Fi (it can be obtained with an Ethernet Bridge).

Your PS3 can play limited PS1 games, but it can NOT play PS2 games, and there is nothing you can do to make it play PS2 games.

The other way to find these special items is to start fighting. Either way, you are sure to score some of these special items from Las Vegas. It does not matter what city you are doing jobs in or fighting in either. The drops will occur no matter where you are playing the game, whether it is New York, Bangkok, Moscow, or Cuba. If you are doing jobs and you seem to be getting the same items again and again, then consider trying some fights to collect some of the other items. It is to do with your router rather than the pc or ps3. Theres something called QoS (Quality of Service) that basically shares the internet connection more fairly. e.g. Someone that is say download a game demo from the ps3 online store is going to want more bandwidth than the person surfing the web and not downloading anything. Without QoS setup, if you do the same scenario, the PS3 user would use all of the bandwidth but the pc user will not be able to load any webpages at all.
