I have it in each of you. Please continue to pray for Jamie, Robin, Brea, Anthony, and Samantha. I’m sure they will melt your heart like they did mine. I promised Robin 3 bowels of mac and cheese and I’ve never made it ( great confidence remember) Please consider helping this family with a meal on Saturday afternoon. Ashley will deliver it from the Fellowship Hall at 2:00. Please call Ashley to let her know what you will bring or what she needs. To make it easier please provide it it a NON RETURNABLE bowel or plate. Remember the ladies will be in retreat from 10-1 so do not deliver your food during those hours. Thanks Church for doing this.
The Church will provide the ham.

Thanks to those who came out for the prayer service. We again had a great touch and Spirit. I hope you are praying for Revival. What would define it to you?
How would it be revealed in you to YOUR spouse, neighbors, family, friends, co-workers, church members? Michael

Hi guys, schedule change. Some may remember the young mother, Maria, who moved in the house beside the parking lot. She brought 2 of her children to high attendance day and helped us meet our goal. Maria passed away today at age 32. Please pray for her 4 children as well as her husband Jamie. This is a time that we should try to provide some type of meal even if it’s bought no a non church family. There are many ladies who are not attending the retreat that could help make this happen on Saturday. They will not be finalizing arrangements for a day or so pending test results.

To those who know what I’m saying when I say Quinn House, you may remember Greg the man who leads the group when they attend our services and the prayer services. Greg’s 20 year old son was killed overnight at the “pencil factory” in Atlanta. Please pray for Greg these days.

Elizabeth Tribble’s grand daughter is in surgery at this hour in Gainesville. This is a major surgery regarding her lungs. As we announced last night a former member Annette Trent died yesterday from Lou Gehrig’s. Her funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 at Tim’s in Loganville. There will be no visitation.

THANK YOU CHOIR for the good turn out last night. THANK YOU LORD for the great touch on the prayer time and testimony time.

Please consider again being at City Hall tonight at 7:00 to support the Mayor and the city in this endeavor. New Canaan you have the reputation of supporting this as much as any church in the City of Lawrenceville. What a great testimony. I hope that you can be there tonight. Michael

I’ve really got too much information to be responsible for. I think we need a POI (public information officer).

Jason Holt our missionary in Chile is OK even though they had 2 hours of 8.0 not quite the 8.8 at the center (do you realize that’s 500 more times powerful than the Hatti quake?) if you want to be involved personally you can visit his site @ biblicalmissions.com Yes it is preceded by 3ws.

As I said last week we have a prayer list that includes 70 + households. Every active member of our Church Family is included on it. As you pray for those on our list it may help you to pray with this additional information about the following:

Gerald has been readmitted to Summit. He fell and required stitches in his ear. Following that it was determined an evaluation was needed to calibrate his meds. I just spoke w/ Linda and he was doing much better when she visited him an hour ago. Elizabeth’s grand daughter Kristen in back in the hospital. She is only 17 and has has several surgeries for a collapsed lung. They are now reassessing her diagnosis at this time and are in need of wisdom about which way to turn. Her last name is Hood.I have been told that Robert and Bonnie’s daughter in law has been taken to the hospital with a possible heat attack tonight. Kenneth is doing better and is waiting further tests about his leg he injured last week. Nain’s surgery is scheduled for early Friday. Please continue to pray for a former member Wynell Smith as she battles Lou Gehrig disease. Kaye is still waiting on healing and strengthening. Russ, Barbara, Dustin. Crystal Wisnant’s father died and was buried Monday. She helps to run our mission work called Blessed Hope School for Children and is with us during Camp-Meeting and Youth Jubilee. A card or e-note would be a great thing to send. WEDNESDAY is Dorothy Pruitt’s B-Day. I hope you will take time to call her. Thanks to all who have visited them recently. They have been so glad.
Calvin Ramey is at the old Medical Arts (21b). He is making progress and walked w/ aid today. his 1st steps in months. Please visit after 4.

Prayer at City Hall this Thursday at 7:00 will be led by our Mayor. The sponsoring Church rescheduled and Rex could really use New Canaan’s support this week. I may need to be gone and ask all that can to be there this month to continue our support and standing in this outreach.

Imogene and her family will be at the Ivey Funeral Home in Bainebridge Ga. 39818 (229-246-3232) on Thursday from 6-8 . The funeral will be at the Bainebridge Church of God on Friday at 2:00. (interviewing for a co-pilot)

WHOO HOO It’s March. Paul left in March. Paul’s coming home in March !!! Hopefully he will be stateside before time changes. Keep praying for Tim’s cousin Brian in Afghanistan as well.

I’m sure you have taken many times to thank the Lord for his hand in our midst these days as well as for the hands that have been available and active in planning , working, and encouraging among our young people. PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OUR CHILDREN AND THE MANY THEY CAN REACH.
What a blessing to meet Jay last night at 9 oclock going into Church to pray for you. Let’s all be sure we are praying for others as well.

Thanks for the best turn out for choir practice and participation in both choirs on a Sunday night in many moons. What a great help it was in so many ways.
Remember the adults and youth will practice from 7-7:30 then the youth from 7:30 -8 this Wednesday night. I love you all and thank you for all you do
Michael

As we take time to read over the Church roll and consider the homes, hopes, hurts, hardships, and heroes, it calls to mind, we should all read it and weep before the throne of grace. No wonder the Bible says to “pray w/o ceasing” . What should we pray for? The scripture gives us a good idea. “pray one for another”. Away from Church? “pray every where” How should we pray? “fervently and effectually” “in the Spirit” clothed in the “whole armour” “without wrath and doubting” Thank you New Canaan for being a people that takes the task of prayer as a journey with joy and not an endeavor of endurance. We will never master prayer’s depths but may you often manifest it’s delights.

Thanks for all your support last night. Through the faithfulness of people as yourself may the Lord continue to build up a people that can fill all 17 rooms of ministry and and their multiplicity of uses. As we read out last night we have 70+ families named on our rolls. These 70+ households represent hundreds of names and needs. These make up our prayer list. Even if they are never mentioned individually they are NEVER without need of prayer. As we head to REVIVAL, we seek help for every household.

Among those on our prayer list, these are facing additional needs that you may be mindful of as you pray: Katy, Weston, Cheryl, Brenda, Russ, Tina, Gay’s employee, Ashley’s boss, Tina, Calvin Ramey, Jerry Crocker, Viney Graham, Milton Hewatt (his surgery went well today)

YOUTH FELLOWSHIP: Sunday night at 5. A great time to allow our young people meet and minister to one another. Please be sure your children and grandchildren are included. Austin and Jared Poff will be singing Sunday night during the service. Sunday morning we will focus on the ordinance of Communion as we direct the message to our children.

for all the help you bring to the services each week. I know we ran longer than normal both services this week but it’s such a help to get built up and not beat down on the way out the door. A smile and a sincere word go miles down the road with the preacher. Seems like souls are like nanners and come in bunches. I hope you gather in those in need of salvation in the days ahead. This Sunday am I plan to focus on the communion service as we prepare to sit at the Lord’s table on Sunday night. Another great time to direct the message to our children. Sunday night Lynois and Doris’ grandchildren Austin and Jared will be providing special music. The YOUTH will be having fellowship at 5 oclock as well. I hope there will be many young people who will be invited and involved in this great outreach opportunity.

Please continue to pray for Calvin Ramey. When I left yesterday he was waiting to be moved to a rehab facility. Gelaine’s brother in law had rallied back and was expected to survive this latest setback. Cheryl, Katie, Weston, Kaye, Suzanne P, Phlyss Jackson, Wendel and Linda, Wesley, Gerald, TJ and Emily, are a few who stand in need of our prayer efforts this week. I appreciate those who have asked about my dad. They have been aware and tracking some growths in his kidneys for a long time. The latest ct report indicated that some were cancerous. This has not been proven with a biopsy, only pictures. They have found a growth on his pancreas yet the Dr. says he is not concerned about it’s effect on his health at this time. So he faces more opinions, pictures, and waiting.

ADULT CHOIR: Felicia has some new Easter music for you to learn in a short time don’t miss this chance to get in on the ground floor.

NEW CANAAN :Wednesday night needs to be a consistent building block in a Church’s ministry not a continued battlefield for it’s members. Stability not scarcity, examples not excuses, commitment not complacent, are needed more than ever. So many are still hiding behind a reason that was valid months and years ago and now is as hollow as a cheap chocolate bunny. IN ALL THY WAYS acknowledge Him and HE WILL direct thy paths. Michael

Ask the Lord to grant traveling grace to our children today as we go SUN TUBING. Praise the Lord for the hint of spring. I hope you all enjoy something outside today.

if you get this.If you do thank or curse TJ. I’m in NC hope to see Josiah in a few. Thank You Church for the this tool to allow me to stay in touch when I’m away. What a great day. I started at 430 listened to 2 preachers on the way up drove 4 hours sat in Church this am for 4 hours heard 4 more preachers with 2 more to go tonight Rick Safriet and Mike Bagwell. What a thrill be able to walk in a church and even though I did not get to speak to each one just to be in the service together with so many people that you only see once or twice a year yet there is so much power and strength and help and hope that comes from being united in the worship and the work of the Lord.

ONE MORE WEEK!!! Please start now Tuesday to do everything we can to get the children back for this Sunday. It’s been so good to see so many that have been there for several weeks in a row. I’m thrilled as I see in my mind a service that I get to sit down close with the Children and talk to them about all the Lord has done. I’m looking for souls to be saved.!!!! PLEASE DO ALL YOU CAN to get all our families back at least one more week.

Susan’s cousin is taking their baby home. Praises to the Lord.

I am headed for SC tonight after the service. Thanks for your prayers. Michael

Good evening New Canaan, Thanks to all who planned their day around the Lord and His House yesterday. I’m sure 99% could have made it fine morning and night.
But this way none had to choose between risk or worship. Of course some had to choose between play and worship and wound up on the wrong side of the book.
Can you believe they stopped the race because of a hole in the road? (I tried to get Wayne to go down there and fix it) Try telling the boss you can’t drive around a hole and had to stay home. And the race did not even end till 8 hours after it started.

Please continue to pray for Russ, Karen C, Susan’s cousin, Kaye, Cheryl, Becky, Paul, Larry Singleton, Tim’s cousin in Afghanistan. These are some of the most urgent and yet we all know dozens more that we should seek the Lord to undertake for the circumstances that are unique to them.

Thanks for all you have done to help Kaye Michael
