The selection of the Ombudsman for Andalucia is regulated by Law 9/1983 which states that the Internal Government Committee will propose a candidate to Parliament and to be appointed must obtain three-fifths of the votes of the members of the House.

The detainee, a resident of Canillas de Albaida, was driving through the centre of town in his SUV when he was signalled to stop at a police control. Instead of stopping he tried to evade the police but was eventually intercepted.

Searching the car, the police officers discovered the stash of drugs and €1,000 in cash, thought to be the proceeds of drugs sales. He has been charged wit a crime against the public health.

Both men were found with plastic bags over their heads and tape across their mouths and could have been dead for u to three days.

An initial inspection showed no signs of a third party being involved in the incident, leading police to a preliminary hypothesis that the deaths were the result of suicide.

Early morning reports on the UEFA website stated that all sanctions on the Blue and Whites had been lifted. A little while later it all changed and the sanctions remain, although this still could change on June 4th when Malaga appear before the TAS.

Already axed are 14 trains between Córdoba and Bobadilla and 12 between Ronda and Algeciras. In June, the cuts will affect the Huelva-Jabugo-Zafra corridor, the Sevilla-LLerena line and routes between Linares, Granada and Almería.
