The Duanwu Festival (Chinese: 端午節), also known as Dragon Boat Festival, is a traditional and statutory holiday. Every year Tainan City Government organizes the Dragon Boat Race Championship, which is one of the most exciting shows.

IMBA students will compete for being the number one!

This year we have 2 teams:

• IIMBA NCKU  (Boat No.11)
• NCKU IIMBA  (Boat No. 2)

Tainan City Canal, between Anyi Bridge and Chengtian Bridge

The exact championship date and time will be announced as soon as
Tainan City Government publishes them on June 10, 2010.

36 people (12 teams, but more is better!) is enough to have this event, if you think you know anyone who might be interested, please invite them. We had a great time last year, let’s do it again.

$300 NT per team. We randomly create the bracket at 12:00 noon. Winners take half of the prize $. Invite anyone that you think would be interested. ALL ARE WELCOME! This is as much for FUN as it is competition and fundraising! So come out and have a good time.
