Nationals FC 05 Girls Take 3rd at 3v3 Live Hurst

The Nationals FC 05 girls played in the 3v3 Live tournament held in Hurst, TX on June 29th. They played 5 games posting 2 wins, one tie and 2 losses. The girls got to play in their new Nationals FC pink jerseys. They finished strong in their final game to take a 3rd place finish. Congratulations to Addisyn, Bryn, Sophie, Daylin and Riley.

Nationals FC 05 Girls Attend Ferdie's Soccer Magic Camp

The Nationals FC 05 girls finished off a week at Ferdie's Soccer Magic camp in Frisco, TX. During the camp the girls learned new skill moves and participated in 1v1, 3v3 and soccer tennis competitions. Ferdie's Soccer Magic camp offers an excellent methodology to improve individual technique and encourages confidence with the ball while having lots of fun. We also learned an interesting little fact about Ferdie this week. Did you know Ferdie also broke the Guinness book of world records for the 100m dash running backwards!

Nationals FC 05G Win Frisco Shawnee Trail Shootout Tournament

The Nationals FC 05 girls took the championship in the 2013 Frisco Shawnee Trail Shootout U8 girls academy division. The 7v7 tournament was held in Frisco, TX at the Warren Sports Complex on May 18-19. The girls went undefeated in the 2 day tournament scoring 26 goals while only giving up 3. Congratulations to Elizabeth, Torie, Daylin, Kyndal, Ayleen, Bryn, Samantha, Riley, Addisyn, Emily and Avery.

Nationals FC 05G Take 2nd in Kick It Dallas 2013

The Nationals FC 05G White 3v3 team took 2nd place in the Kick It Dallas 3v3 tournament. The tournament took place at Five Star Complex in The Colony on May 11th, 2013. Congratulations to Bryn, Sophie, Elizabeth, Daylin, Riley and Kyndal.

Nationals FC 05 Girls Celebrate 5th Year Anniversary with FC Dallas Dream Team

The 05 girls celebrated the Nationals FC 5th year anniversary as a club and academy this April. They celebrated with a cookout before the FC Dallas game and cut a special Nationals FC cake.

They participated in the FC Dallas Dream Team and walked on the field with the FC Dallas pro team before the game.

After the game the girls got to meet FC Dallas pro player Michel along with a photo and autographs.

Congratulations to both Nationals FC 05 girls teams in the Kick It 3v3 Tulsa tournament. The tournament was held at the Bill Boevers soccer complex in Tulsa, OK on June 2-3. Both teams went undefeated and made it to the championship. Congrats to Kyndal, Addisyn, Elizabeth, Pallie, Torie, Daylin, Ayleen, Riley, Bryn and Sofia.

The Nationals FC 05 girls played in Ferdie's Soccer Magic 3v3 league this spring at Sole Roll indoor. Ferdie's Soccer Magic provides a unique experience that's deeply focused on player development. This program essentially gives the game back to the kids and allows them to develop naturally through their love of the game and happiness. It's similar to how you might find kids playing pick up soccer on the street in other countries. Value is placed on individual skill, creativity with the ball and a sense of community togetherness. The 3v3 environment encourages creative skill moves that is ultimately demanded by their peers. It's a simple player development philosophy that is sorely missing from the American soccer development culture. Most of the time you see kids playing soccer today, it's over organized with parents lining the fields while yelling instructions to players and complaining to referees. Now imagine an environment where kids organize their game, keep their own score and cheer on their teamates from the sidelines. That's Ferdie's Soccer Magic!

The Nationals FC 05 girls finished 2nd at the 2012 Kick It 3v3 World Championships. The 3v3 tournament took place in Orlando, FL at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex over Martin Luther King weekend. The girls played through 2 days of pool games and took first seed going into the playoffs. In fact, the Nationals FC girls were the only team to defeat every team in their age group. On their 3rd day they advanced to the final against Liverpool, also from North Texas, but came up short in the championship game. Regardless, the girls played great defense, possession style 3v3 soccer and attacked with all 3 players in their run to the final. We are very proud of these young players and they represented our 3v3 academy and club with pride, never wavering in their style of play. Congratulations to Riley, Torie, Daylin, Addisyn and Kyndal. They have set the bar very high and we look forward to great things from them and our growing 3v3 academy in the future.

The journey to this tournament began with our first practice in May of 2010. A great deal of time was sacrificed between then and now. So thank you to the families that made this amazing trip happen! Without your time, money, support and understanding none of this would be possible. This experience will always be a great memory for all of us and will propel the girls to even greater achievements in the future. Thank you!

Nationals FC 05 Girls Play Futsal at Sportsplex

The Nationals FC 05 girls recently finished their first season of futsal at the Sportsplex in Dallas. The girls quickly adjusted to a new type of soccer while trying new 1v1 moves they learned from fall skills training sessions. Their previous knowledge of 3v3 proved to be of great benefit as they made the progression to their futsal formation effortlessly. Congratulations to Addisyn, Ayleen, Daylin, Elizabeth, Kyndal, Pallie, Riley and Torie for a great first season of futsal.
