The Hollow Earth Theory

Father and son researchers Kevin and Matthew Taylor presented their Hollow Earth theory on Coast to Coast AM Radio with George Noory on November 24, 2005. Their theory includes the idea that there is an inner sun and a "perfect environment" for supporting life inside the Earth. In fact, the Taylors contend that beings, thousands of years ahead of us evolved there, and orchestrated humanity's development. "I believe UFOs, gods and Inner Earth people are all one thing," said Kevin. The Taylors painted a picture of the inner world: Because there is little to no gravity, trees and other life forms grow much taller or bigger. There is constant warmth and daylight from the radiating sun. A shallow ocean travels through the land masses. The visual perspective is much different than here as there is no horizon. Continents appear to float in the clouds. Planets the size of Earth and Mars evolve to become hollow and then expand under their own gravitational power, explained the Taylors. They also related that the Great Flood from the time of Noah was created by the Hollow Earth inhabitants who released the water in a careful manner in order to correct an imbalance and guard against a potential meteor impact.

This unusual publication shows all the evidence leads to the fact our planet, and most probably all celestial objects of the galaxy, are going through an unending natural growing process. The evidence of planet Earth's growth is irrefutable yet its acceptance involves, since it would not grow otherwise, the absolute hollowness of the orb. According to the authors' thesis most probably all planets, moons (Yet there is disturbing evidence demonstrating our moon is most likely an artificial object) and stars are going through similar expansive process as well. By logic expanding hollow objects eventually would brake apart but the growing process of a hollow object, according to the authors, implicates fresh matter is naturally and continually produced. Interestingly the famous artist Neal Adams had independently proved the growing Earth process must have slowly but surely led to the dinosaurs' extinction. The Djinn

In the Western World we have grown up with the concept of demons and devils - the evil beings of the spirit world, according to traditional Christian beliefs. Other religions around the world have their spirit beings, too, of course. In Islam, the djinn are a race of spirit beings that can be good or evil. (Djinn, or jinn, is the origin of the more familiar word "genie" in English.) Muslims believe that evil djinn can sometimes possess human beings, as some Christians believe demons can possess people. The Djinn inhabit an unseen world in dimensions beyond the visible universe of humans. Together, the jinn, humans and angels make up the three sapient creations of God. The Qur'an mentions that the jinn are made of a smokeless and "scorching fire", but also physical in nature, being able to interact physically with people and objects and likewise be acted upon. Verses of the Koran and the Hadiths show unambiguously that the djinns were created of fire without smoke. According to Ibn ' Abbas, the expression "without smoke" means "end of the flame." Other scientists think that this expression means the purest of fires. What's important to know, quite simply, is that that the djinn were created of fire and therefore have a constitution completely different from ours. The djinn were created before man. While the djinn were made of fire, man was made of clay and angels created of light. In this way, the djinn are invisible. So if they are invisible, how do we know they exist? Many things exist that our eyes do not see, but their effects are perceptible, such as the air and electrical current. The djinn prefer to live in places not inhabited by man, such as deserts and wastelands. Some among them live in the dirty places (dustbins) and others live among man. The djinn live in these dirty places in order to eat the remainders of foods thrown away by people. Also, certain djinn live in cemeteries and ruins.

The Shadow People are supernatural shadow-like humanoid figures that, according to believers, are seen flickering on walls and ceilings in the viewer's peripheral vision. They are often reported moving with quick, jerky movements, and quickly disintegrate into walls or mirrors. They are believed to be evil and aggressive in nature, although a few people consider them to be a form of guardian angel. In 2010, the apparitions were described as one of the most regularly reported paranormal phenomena in the United States. This is attributed to occasional reports on the Coast to Coast AM show, where paranormal researcher Heidi Hollis has been interviewed several times on the subject of shadow people. Hollis believes that shadow people have always existed, that they feed upon emotions of fear, and that they can be repelled by thinking positively. Others believe that shadow people may be the extra-dimensional inhabitants of another universe. The stories of shadow people have been compared to those of the Raven Mocker, a witch from Cherokee Indian mythology who sometimes appears as a shadowy phantom, and the Islamic Djinn. These include sleep paralysis, illusions, or hallucinations brought on by physiological or psychological circumstances, drug use or side effects of medication, and the interaction of external agents on the human body. "Sleep Paralysis" is a phenomenon in which people, either when falling asleep or wakening, temporarily experience an inability to move. More formally, it is a transition state between wakefulness and rest characterized by complete muscle atonia (muscle weakness). It can occur at sleep onset or upon awakening, and it is often associated with terrifying visions (e.g. an intruder in the room), to which one is unable to react due to paralysis. It is believed a result of disrupted REM sleep, which is normally characterized by complete muscle atonia that prevents individuals from acting out their dreams. Sleep paralysis has been linked to disorders such as narcolepsy, migraines, anxiety disorders, and obstructive sleep apnea; however, it can also occur in isolation. When linked to another disorder, sleep paralysis commonly occurs in association with the neuromuscular disorder narcolepsy.

Secrets Of The Jinn & The Dark Plasma Universe:
This is an introduction to the Jinn (also spelled Djinn), known in the west as Genies, a mythological being that may have existed long before humanity. The Jinn as mentioned in the Qur'an, are beings made of fire and preceded Humans, which were made of clay. The Objective-2009 (Full Length Movie):
Forces in the front lines of the war on terror find themselves battling a foe more deadly than a bomb in this thriller. Ben Keynes is a CIA operative based in the Middle East who is keeping his eyes peeled for a potential crisis a few weeks after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Keynes pays him little mind, but he and the soldiers soon discover that Abdul's warnings were well founded, and that a supernatural force lurks in the mountains more dangerous than any band of terrorists.

The Mormon Transhumanist Agenda

Transhumanism was founded in the 1950s by top eugenicist Julian Huxley and the Rockefeller Foundation, and embraced by the beliefs of the Mormon Church that Man can become God via science and technology. It became the new brand name for the pseudoscience of Eugenics. Its obsession for culling off the 'genetically inferior', while at the same time striving to promote dominance for the 'superior' had given Eugenics a bad name, particularly after the Nazi brand of Eugenics created the Holocaust, during WWII. Sadly, what most people didn't know at that time was that Nazi eugenics was merely the full-blown application of the principles that had been developed and were openly espoused by the British, French and American Eugenics Societies.

So, Eugenics lived on, under many, heavily funded formats, one of them being Transhumanism. By and large, Transhumanism proposes to use applied science in the fields of genetics, robotics and others, to 'steer human evolution into the future'. A Transhumanist society will have, as its name implies, 'transcended humanity'. In such a society, human beings will have been replaced with hyper-efficient worker chimeras, bio-robotic warriors, and other purpose-made humanoid life forms.

These stated goals must be tied in with the bigger picture into which Eugenics and Transhumanism fit into. These fields have never been limited to 'science' per se -- they've always been primarily political and economical, and they reflect a very particular view of the world.

Under that view, the planet has limited resources, and technological advancement under free market systems cannot be trusted to overcome those limitations (one of the many Malthusian fallacies and myths) -- therefore, control must be exercised over the users of resources, to avoid any over-usage of those resources. To exercise that control, eugenicists believe they have to shut down development, and create a heavily regulated social and economic environment. In that controlled environment, those people who are alive must also be economically efficient -- i.e., produce more than they consume. So, on the one hand, the intelligentsia feels it needs to get rid of the 'wrong' sorts of people (the masses of 'unfit', 'unemployables', 'junk genes'), through techniques such as famine, abortion, sterilization, or euthanasia. On the other hand, the workers that will be allowed to go on into the future will have to be made into incrementally more 'efficient' humans -- which will eventually imply robotic add-ons and genetic-engineering.

This is none other than the worldwide, dehumanized, hyper-efficient 'hive society', (the 'beehive' is the state symbol of Utah...home of the Mormon Church) that was advocated by eugenicist Charles Galton Darwin in "The Next Million Years". Or, "Our Benevolent Feudalism", as eugenicist William J. Ghent put it, in his portrayal of the techno-fascist global society that, he said, would eventually be ushered in, using the combined power of finance and science. And, of course, it was also explained in romanticized form in the "Brave New World" of Aldous Huxley, who was none other than the brother of Transhumanism founder, Eugenics Society chairman, Julian Huxley.

A neo-feudal, technocratic, new world order. That's what Eugenics and its offspring Transhumanism, strive for. A system under which you will not just lose your physical rights to independent living, (which is happening as we speak), but you will also be engineered to lose your very soul. Since, as Charles Galton Darwin put it, you will be nothing more than a good worker, which includes being engineered to have the right beliefs, or no beliefs at all.

That is the final and most serious note of mental and spiritual disease behind this incredibly selfish and hypocritical paradigm.
And that is why it must be stopped!

Lucifer, Transhumanism, and Transformation

On October 1, 2010, I attended the Transhumanism and Spirituality conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. At one point in the meeting, a current leader in the Transhuman movement – Max More – told us he was the “spawn of Lucifer.” At first I thought it was a bad joke.

Boy, was I wrong.

After returning home, I stumbled onto an earlier text advocating Mr. More’s trans-human worldview, titled “In Praise of the Devil.” In this short article, Mr. More vigorously promoted the Luciferian perspective: “You are all your own highest authority.”

And that’s the carrot dangling in front of humanity: Mankind is the highest authority – therefore, the works of our hands and the desires of our heart can guide us toward Ascension. Man can become God via science and technology. It’s the ultimate end of Technocracy (check out the back-issues of Forcing Change to learn about Technocracy).

This quest fits with what Richard Seed proclaimed in TechnoCalyps. “We are going to become Gods. Period. If you don’t like it, get off.”

The Rise of Techno-Gods: The Merging of Transhumanism and Spirituality:

Standing at the guest booth on the outskirts of the Temple grounds in Salt Lake City, the young lady behind the counter asked if we were attending “the conference.”

“Not the conference,” my wife explained, “but a conference.”

A momentary look of confusion crossed the greeter’s face. After all, the Latter-Day Saints’ General Conference was only hours away, and for the Mormon community GC is the event of the year. Why else would we be in Salt Lake City?

I tried to clarify; “We’re here for a conference sponsored by the Mormon Transhumanist Association.”

This didn’t help.

Like the Mormon greeter, you too are probably wondering; “What in the world is transhumanism?”

In short, Transhumanism is the ultimate goal of Technocracy. In past editions of Forcing Change, a series of articles were published on Technocracy as a meta-movement: the idea that the works of Man’s hands can save Humanity – hence, technology and science forms the basis of a Technocratic society. Transhumanism takes this to its ultimate conclusion: The development of the post-human or neo-human.

Based on the premise that evolution is true, transhumanism looks to shape the human species through the direct application of science. In other words, by employing technology we can take hold of the evolutionary process and change it as we desire, thus becoming the masters of our future. To this end, advocates of transhumanism ascribe to a multitude of possible options.

The Mormon Transhumanist Association (MTA) gives us an overview,

“…visions of a neohuman future will evolve as time goes on. As imagined now, possible neohuman traits, all involving technological enhancements to current human capacities, include:

- highly advanced intellectual capabilities, greater than ours in magnitude as ours are greater than those of other animals

- physical bodies that are immune to disease and aging

- the ability to communicate complex thoughts and emotions instantaneously without visual aids or speech

- expanded sensory inputs that enable higher awareness of even distant environs

- superhuman strength and agility

- perfect control of individual desires, moods, or mental states

- increased capacity to experience joy, love, pleasure, and other emotions.”

Superhuman strength! Longevity and disease-free living! Mind-to-mind communications… Does this sound like science fiction, or science-magic?

Although less magical sounding, the following examples are no less mind-blowing. They represent a portion of this author’s research, and are considered to be paths moving us beyond humanity.

1. DNA: Now that we are unlocking the secrets of DNA, we can alter our genetic makeup to augment desirable traits and block negative characteristics. It’s hoped such a move will bring longevity and eradicate diseases. Other possible outcomes include the production of designer babies in the womb, and even introducing DNA from other species into the human code; thus building a “Human Plus” equipped with advanced physical and cognitive traits. Such a trans-human would be “transgenic” – literally a human GMO (Genetically Modified Organism).

2. Computer Interfacing and AI: As the secrets of the brain are discovered, it is anticipated that a time will arrive when the mind is efficiently interfaced with cyber-space. It is believed that in such a scenario the brain, once “plugged-in,” could allow the mind to surf the network, download and upload from the web, receive memory upgrades, and converge with a global mind-to-machine community – forming a type of cyber-hive. Or, according to some cybernetic purists, to allow one’s consciousness to completely leave the bounds of flesh and enter cyber-space as an electronic entity. After all the brain, it’s argued, is an electrochemical organ. This mind uploading, it’s believed, could culminate in what the Catholic mystic, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin called the noosphere: the emergence of a living, global consciousness. The web would thus “come alive.”

When asked what the single most important development will be in 20 years, George Dvorsky of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies said,

“Interface technologies that bridge the gap between the human brain and the internet. In twenty years, our interaction with the web will be so seamless that it will be considered an exosomatic organ. Implications include ubiquitous access to all knowledge stores on the net and ‘techlepathy’.

Another version of the noosphere approach is through AI – Artificial Intelligence, particularly within the model of global computing. In this scenario the system takes on a type of cyber-life when super-sophisticated computing networks actively gather user’s data and monitor online behavior, and then independently act on this collective knowledge. Today, post-human theorists are contemplating what this global AI model would look like, including world “simulation programs” that could tabulate and pursue the most efficient ways to order a transhuman society.

3. Nanobots: By injecting nanobots – programmable, microscopic-like robots – into the human body, cells and tissue might be manipulated in detail. Diseased cells could be hunted down and eradicated. Direct drug delivery could be accomplished. Maintenance of brain-computer interfacing could be done at the microscopic level. Humanity could be reconfigured cell-by-cell. Nanobots could be introduced by injection or within a pill capsule.

The above examples are grounded in theoretical research and present-day realities. Consider GMO technology, which has been in use since the 1960s.[iii] GMO cropping is a staple in the agricultural industry, especially with canola. But the science goes beyond plants; China just announced it has created a transgenic monkey to be used for medical experiments, Kraig Biocraft recently claimed it has genetically modified silkworms to produce spider silk, and in 2009 a Spanish team created a “a clone of the extinct Pyrenean ibex” – which only lived a short time, yet demonstrated the potential to re-create extinct species.

Likewise, brain interfacing and mind implants, along with nanotechnology, are no longer the stuff of science fiction. Much theoretical work has been done, experimentation is ongoing, and major breakthroughs have occurred. It’s amazing what has already been accomplished; the question now isn’t, “should we look to alter the human species?” But what will the new human experience be?

Ironically, while the future is being played with in laboratories and technical institutes, the foundation of transhumanism rests on an ancient desire: Man becoming Deity, Apotheosis. Posthumanism, therefore, is the technical quest for the Holy Grail, Ascension through engineering. It’s modern-day Alchemy and Magic, the contemporary manifestation of the Secret Doctrine; “All is One, and that One is Divinity.” Or said another way; “Jesus is no less Divine because all men may reach the same Divine perfection.”

Mark Pesce, a co-inventor of 3-D interfacing for the worldwide web, and a panelist and judge on ABC’s show The New Inventors, puts it this way,

“Once the genome was transcribed, once we knew what had made us human, we had – in that moment – passed into the Transhuman. Knowing our codes, we can re-create them in our so-called synthetic rows of 1s and 0s. Artificial Life.

And now we have discovered the multiverse, where nothing is true and everything is permissible. And now we will reach into the improbable, re-sequence ourselves into a new Being, de-bugging the natural state, translating ourselves into supernatural, incorruptible, eternal.

               There is no God but Man.

Pesce, a leading Transhumanist, depicts ascension in Biblically twisted terms.

“Men die, planets die, even stars die. We know all this. Because we know it, we seek something more – a transcendence of transience, translation to incorruptible form. An escape if you will, a stop to the wheel. We seek, therefore, to bless ourselves with perfect knowledge and perfect will; To become as gods, take the universe in hand, and transform it in our image – for our own delight. As it is on Earth, so it shall be in the heavens.

The inevitable result of incredible improbability, the arrow of evolution is lipping us into the transhuman – an apotheosis to reason, salvation – attained by good works.”

Human cloning researcher, Richard Seed, throws an ugly spin on the subject.

“We are going to become Gods. Period. If you don’t like it, get off. You don’t have to contribute; you don’t have to participate. But if you’re going to interfere with me becoming God, we’re going to have big trouble. Then we’ll have warfare.

These quotes are troubling, but is Transhumanism a serious movement, or just the hype of some utopian dreamers? Sure, the technology to alter humanity and shape society either exists or is fast coming on line, but is Transhumanism a real movement or just some techno-fad? The answer to this quandary comes by following the money. If it’s only a fad, you can expect sponsorships to reflect an amateurish level.

However, if Transhumanism is more than a passing techno-curiosity, then the sponsors and partners would be recognizable. Significant players should be involved. Is this happening?

Case in point: Singularity University. Designed as a leadership institute, Singularity is recognized for its positions on Transhumanism and radical social change. This school deals with the theoretical aspects of Transhumanism and emerging technologies, with an eye towards the exponential increase in knowledge and science. Even the name speaks to the coming post-human world, as “singularity” represents a point in a future time when technological change takes place so fast it produces a qualitative shift in society: the birth of a super-intelligence, the merging of Man and Machine. So who supports Singularity?

- National Aeronautics and Space Administration, aka NASA: Singularity is hosted at the NASA Ames research center in Silicon Valley.

- Google.

- ePlanet Ventures (a capital investment firm who works with high-tech medical and media companies, including Skype).

- Autodesk (the producers of AutoCAD).

- Kauffman Foundation (one of the largest foundations in the United States; based on the work of pharmaceutical giant Ewing Kauffman).

- Canon.

- International Space University, and many others.

Beyond Singularity University, the transhumanist program has been advanced through the sponsorship of well-recognized institutions – like Oxford, Stanford and Caltech – and by large non-profit groups such as the Templeton Foundation. Another transhuman organization that focuses on nanotechnology, the Foresight Institute, has received sponsorships from Apple, Ford, ARCO, Beckman, Sun Microsystems, Mitsubishi, Intel, Xerox, and other industry leaders. The US National Science Foundation has also been looking at the future of Transhumanism, including its ethical development, and in 2003 produced a report on technologies that will enhance human abilities; the report was titled Converging Technologies for Improving Human Performance: Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Information Technology and Cognitive Science. Finally, DARPA – the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, which is a technical branch within the US Department of Defense – has been working on programs that are transhuman in nature, such as the Physical Intelligence project. According to Michael Anissimov, the Media Director for the Singularity Institute, DARPA has been funding “dozens of human augmentation projects around the world.

So much for it being a passing fad.

Transhumanism and Mormonism

After traveling two days through one Canadian province and four American states, I had the opportunity to attend a one-day conference on October 1, 2010, in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was a long way to go, but the scope of the event made the trip a necessity: Transhumanism and Spirituality. Held at the University of Utah, this event brought atheist, Mormon, Christian, and Buddhist supporters to the table. And it was sponsored by the first religious special-interest branch of Humanity+, the Mormon Transhumanist Association. (Note: Humanity+ was formerly known as the World Transhumanist Association).

But why Mormonism? This isn’t hard to figure out. Consider the following.

- From Mormon Doctrine by Bruce R. McConkie:

“That exaltation which the saints of all ages have so devoutly sought is godhood itself. Godhood is to have the character, possess the attributes, and enjoy the perfections which the Father has. It is to do what he does, have the powers resident in him…”

- From Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism, also known as the Latter-Day Saints (LDS):

“God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!... Here, then, is eternal life – to know the only wise and true God; and you have got to learn how to be gods yourselves, and to be kings and priests to God, the same as all gods have done before you, namely, by going from one small degree to another, and from a small capacity to a great one… To inherit the same power, the same glory and the same exaltation, until you arrive at the station of a god, and ascend the throne of eternal power, the same as those who have gone before.

- Mormon leader, Brigham Young, highlighted the god-state and the organization of intelligent beings, who in turn becoming Gods.

“We believe there are many, very many, who have entered into power, glory, might, and dominion, and are gathered around them thrones, and have power to organize elements, and make worlds, and bring into existence intelligent beings in all their variety, who, if they are faithful and obedient to their calling and creation, will in their turn be exalted in eternal kingdoms of the Gods.

The Mormon Transhumanist Association recognizes that the heartbeat of Mormonism is transfiguration or exaltation – Man becoming God. Speaking to this, the MTA published the following in Sunstone, a scholarship and issues journal of the Latter-Day Saints.

“Mormon tradition teaches that the eternities consist of innumerable heavens of types and degrees toward which our world may advance. These heavens are inhabited by a plurality of gods whom we may join as we emulate and become as God…

Latter-Day prophets have proclaimed that there is a plurality of gods, each of which became so by emulating God, and that becoming gods ourselves is the ultimate destiny of humanity as children of God. These prophets envision that humans will join in the creation of worlds and heavens and the development of other gods, expanding our influence throughout eternity and engaging in yet greater works.”

According to MTA, “the prophet Joseph Smith and subsequent Mormon leaders could be counted among religious humanists whose ideas have informed the emergence of Transhumanism.”

Understanding this post-human conception, MTA recognizes three specific areas where Transhumanism bolsters the Mormon faith.

1) “It provides a rational basis for certain LDS beliefs.”

2) “It promotes Latter-day Saints’ exercising a more active faith in Mormon notions of the future.”

3) “It encourages Latter-day Saints to have more optimistic expectations for the near future.

Transhumanism gives Mormonism a measure of rationality based on science and technical achievement. What was mysterious – becoming god-like – is now viewed as tangible and understandable. Hence, the MTA affirms that “scientific knowledge and technological power” dovetails with human exaltation.

With this in mind, the MTA has developed a Transhumanist theory specifically designed around LDS teachings: The New God Argument.

“If we will not go extinct before becoming posthumans then, given assumptions consistent with contemporary science and technological trends, posthumans probably already exist that are more benevolent than us and that created our world. If prehumans are probable then posthumans probably already exist. If posthumans probably increased faster in destructive than defensive capacity then posthumans probably are more benevolent than us. If posthumans probably create many worlds like those in their past then posthumans probably created our world. The only alternative is that we probably will go extinct before becoming posthumans.” (The New God Argument formulated by Lincoln Cannon and Joseph West)

Therefore…

- “Posthumans probably already exist.”

- “Posthumans probably are more benevolent than us.”

- “Posthumans probably created our world.” (The New God Argument)

This fits the Mormon paradigm: A God populates an earth with souls, bound in human flesh. Degree by degree, these humans evolve and are eventually exalted, transcending and ascending to Godhood. Then, each of these “new Gods” populates other worlds with new souls… repeat, repeat, repeat. In the New God Argument it’s held that posthumans are probably benevolent because, while they posses the powers of destruction, we have not yet been destroyed.

In the last 50 years, the Mormon (LDS) Church has managed to grow from a small fringe cult to a major world religion of considerable respectability. Mormons who have become very wealthy and famous, i.e. (MITT ROMNEY!) have helped to change the image of the Mormon religion in the minds of Americans. Transhumanism and Spirituality

So what will spirituality look like in a Transhuman world? What will the neo-human experience be from a religious point of view? How will Christianity fare in a post-human environment?

Those questions had prompted me to travel across the continent. Thankfully, the day’s agenda was geared to explore this new matrix of science and spirituality. Among the 14 presenters were,

- Max More: The “father” of contemporary Transhumanism, and co-founder of the Extropy Institute.

- James Hughes: The director of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies.

- Giulio Prisco: Former manager with the European Space Agency and past director of the World Transhumanist Association. Mr. Prisco, live from Italy, gave his talk by way of Skype.

- Terryl Givens: Professor of Literature and Religion at the University of Richmond, and a prolific author on Mormonism. His latest book is When Souls Had Wings: Pre-Mortal Life in Western Thought (Oxford University Press, 2010).

- Lincoln Cannon. Director of the Mormon Transhumanist Association.

So how does spirituality fit within a neo-human paradigm? Here are some of the major points based from my event notes and audio recordings.

- During the first talk of the day, titled “Fear and Trembling at the Tower of Babel,” it was noted that myths throughout time speak to the human-divine struggle. During the Q&A session that followed this lecture, it was stated that we are now at a Tower of Babel return point – anything we imagine, we can do. “There is nothing out of our grasp now.”

- During another presentation, it was suggested that creation and evolution are not incompatible. Instead of creation ex-nihilo we should examine the idea of an “organized form of evolution.” This concept, from the Mormon perspective, emanates from Abraham 4:20-25 (The Pearl of Great Price), where “the Gods prepared the earth to bring forth the living creature.”

- Multiple physical and spiritual entities are in a struggle for scarce resources. Spirits, therefore, are stakeholders in human beings, and interactions between the spiritual and physical shapes our social, political, and economic realities. The evolution of humanity, therefore, requires that we have an ideological shift, one that seeks to assimilate individual tendencies – such as the survival of self – within the larger family of rational entities. This integration will stress the worth of the group over self. We are all directly connected to one another.

- All life is interconnected in the quest for eternal progression and spiritual perfection. Three historical thinkers we can take cues from are: John A. Widtsoe, a Mormon philosopher who believed in limited evolution, and who worked to merge religion and science within the LDS framework; Alfred North Whitehead, a mathematician who birthed “process theology” and postulated the interconnectivity of existence; and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who saw Mankind moving toward an Omega point with the birth of a global mind – the evolution of God.

- We need to destroy the old myths and create new ones to fit a post-human view of spirituality. This would be built on quantum physics: Religion is physics in the connection of beings. Everything is connected because everything is physics. Therefore, religious rituals are programmable algorithms. (Note: Watch as quantum physics forms a pseudo-spiritual bridge between different faiths).

- Society must shift from energy-intense industrial design to an ecosystem mentality. This can be accomplished through swarm or hive theory (also known as chaos theory), with its emphasis on decentralized and spontaneous organization. Therefore, we must shed individualism and embrace collective organization. Transhumanism then becomes the “super-organism of the human family,” complete with a common code of values. In this worldview, value systems will gravitate around self-selecting groups who have shared goals of transformation. A global, positive, and assertive psychology will emerge as a type of cultural parametricism (dynamic modeling).

- Christian Transhumanism recognizes that faith and works leads to salvation. That the Logos is not static or fixed, but is dynamic and evolving. It can be described in this formula, which would be best viewed as a circle: Creation è chaos è cognitive process; growth and understanding è conscious evolution è ascension; the return to a singularity = Universal consciousness or the Christ-state. “We are growing by faith and works back to this singular point, where we all participate because we are all going to experience this same sensation.”

- Max More: His talk was titled “Apotheosis and Perpetual Progress.” Mr. More opened with a personal story about not believing in Jesus and “going to Hell.” He noted that the modern version of Transhumanism is rooted in Humanism and the Age of Enlightenment, and most Transhumanists are atheistic or agnostic. Although an atheist in the sense of the Christian God, More could see the importance of finding compatibility between the neo-human program and religion. However, he was concerned that the notion of godhood is “too limited of an idea in the sense traditionally conceived...” For if perpetual progress occurs, then perpetual change is inevitable, and so too our limited concept of God will advance as we “progress.”

“I should tend to want to discourage talking of Gods in transhumanism, regardless if we’re religious or not – I think we can probably do better than that… after all, many of the traditional conceptions are not very enlightening or inspiring, especially the older versions, [such as] in the Old Testament… a petulant child… a cosmic sadist who seems to like to set things up to torture us.”

- Spirituality is not about the “I” but “that which creates the We.” It is about a growing realization of our evolution within the context of interconnection. According to Dorothy Deasy, a Christian Transhumanist who accepts the Darwinian model, a new way is needed.

“It is vital for spiritual Transhumanists to have a voice, to be the Third Way between fundamentalism and creation without God [referring to atheism]. We are living in times when giving into either-or-thinking, either science or spirituality, can have dangerous social consequences. One suggestion is to encourage faith communities to evolve their perceptions of God, and to re-embrace the sacred…”

Deasy demonstrated the importance of an evolving theology and emerging spirituality.

“So long as Transhumanism is perceived as a threat to faith and to humanity itself, resistance will only grow. An evolved spirituality will build a bridge to show Transhumanism for what it has the potential to be, the human being – a theonomous co-creator. An evolved theology will help ensure the future we develop is in fact, in line with the law of God…

…For me, evolving our theology means putting the Wisdom Teachings forward and using the stories and personalities only as support. It also may mean breaking away from [religious] exclusivity, and embracing the vast diversity of beliefs, actions, and places where the Sacred is found. Evolving theology reintroduces a reliance on paradox… to hold contradictory propositions or emotions simultaneously. It is the opposite of certainty.

The role of spiritual guides is to replace dogma with questioning, to promote seekers to examine their belief systems and ask larger questions. Part of evolving spirituality is paying attention to how we image God. God may be imagined within a model from concrete to conceptional...

…God may be perceived as experience. The miracles in the New Testament may be read as exaggerated examples, using story form, of the ways in which God is expressed in our lives…”

- The spirituality of transhumanism could be considered a “Next-Gen Religion,” and it must be demonstrated as a “cool” religion that unifies humanity.

So where does Biblical Christianity fit? The above talking points show that Biblical Christianity doesn’t gel with the spiritual application of Transhumanism. For Biblical Christianity recognizes only one God, and to attempt a god-like ascension is the height of pride – the downfall of Lucifer. Moreover, Biblical exclusivity – Jesus Christ as the “only way to the Father” – cannot mesh in this spiritual universalism. It was no surprise, therefore, to hear traditional Biblical positions mocked.

Although Max More likened Yahweh to a “petulant child,” it was James Hughes who took the biggest swipe at conservative, evangelical-minded Christians during his lecture. The implication was clear: Evangelical Christians hold outdated beliefs and are steeped in a faith-based paranoia. The Hindu and Buddhist traditions, however, better fit with Transhumanism because of their acceptance of evolution. Mormonism too, he acknowledged, could embrace an evolutionary paradigm.

Tom Horn, a Christian researcher who writes and lectures on the dangers of Transhumanism, was mocked as a “Christian whack-job.” And Al Mohler, the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary took a hit regarding his stance on homosexuality. Evangelical Christians weren’t looked upon favorably.

These remarks by Mr. Hughes acted as feedstock for the closing Q&A panel. It started with a question from an online viewer: “Should we seek dialogue with paranoid Christian fundamentalists who rant against H+, or should we seek more than dialogue, maybe even mock them?”

Hughes responded that he has interviewed Tom Horn, and that Horn has interviewed himself: “I think it’s good to hold our enemies as close as we possibly can.” Then Hughes dropped a bombshell:

“Because apocalyptic and millennial energies very frequently inspire violence… so if reaching out across the aisle to someone who thinks I’m a spawn of Satan, and establishing a relationship so that he doesn’t come after me with gun is something I have to do, I’m willing to do it. Right? And it’s the ones who haven’t reached out yet that I’m worried about.”

Max More cut in: “I’m not the spawn of Satan, I’m the spawn of Lucifer.” This comment evoked some laughter, but More was serious – albeit with a smile on his face. Mr. More wrote in 1991 that,

“Lucifer is the embodiment of reason, of intelligence, of critical thought. He stands against the dogma of God and all other dogmas. He stands for the exploration of new ideas… Join me, join Lucifer, and join Extropy in fighting God and his entropic forces with our minds, our wills and our courage. God’s army is strong, but they are backed by ignorance, fear and cowardice. Reality is fundamentally on our side. Forward into the light!

Another line of questioning probed how we will “evolve spirituality,” and should religions change in relationship to Transhumanism? Answers included the development of common group values – including civility (this was ironic considering the Evangelical-bashing during the event), to provide forums for safely debating with fundamental Christians, and the need to create “networks of the spiritual.” Textual literalism needs to be downplayed. Churches, we were told by Dorothy Deasy, will have to step away from mythology and move towards embracing organic experiences – or fall away.

Conclusion

After leaving Salt Lake City, I spent a considerable amount of time reflecting on what all this meant. The implications are enormous.

   Here are some thoughts.

1) The Transhuman movement is not a passing fad, and the industries and technologies that give this movement energy will radically change our world.

2) A globally accepted form of spirituality will play an increasing role in the Transhuman worldview.

3) Presently a large number of those involved in the movement are antagonistic to evangelical Christianity. Some attempts in the foreseeable future may be made to bring concerned Christian voices to the table. But gauging from the level of mockery – both at this event and in Transhuman publications – it’s questionable how sincere the overtures would be. In any case, if conservative Christians find themselves invited to speak in a Transhuman setting, they would need to be equipped with truth, righteousness, readiness, faith, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). And they would need to be lifted in prayer.

4) When expressing concerns and reasoned opposition to Transhumanism, care must be taken to avoid language that could be misconstrued as hostile or inciting violence. Nor can Christians resort to name-calling or mockery. Not only is this contrary to righteousness, it lends credibility to Transhuman stereotypes of conservative Christians. Ironically, while James Hughes speaks about the dangers of violent Christian fundamentalists – naming Tom Horn in his concerns – some leading advocates of post-humanism, like Richard Seed, openly pronounce warfare against those who oppose his god-goal; “The only way to prevent me is to kill me. And you kill me, I’ll kill you.”[xx] To Mr. Hughes and other neo-human supporters, I sincerely hope I’m not wrong; but I can’t think of any current Evangelical leader or recognized personality, including Mr. Horn, who has advocated violence or death to Transhumanists.

5) A progressive version of Christianity, represented as a faith ready to embrace religious diversity and evolution, will be accepted within the Transhuman environment. Emergent spirituality and interfaithism within the church will dovetail with Transhuman sentiments. Watch too as group themes push aside Biblical truths in the quest for interconnected unity.

6) Christians need to be informed. This article is only a primer, and unfortunately there isn’t a lot of Christian literature on the subjects of Transhumanism or Technocracy. In upcoming issues of Forcing Change I plan to provide a resource list. However, if you’re so inclined to doing research, there’s a growing body of secular books, journals, and websites dedicated to exploring post-humanism. Be aware that some of the material you find may take an occult-like or New Age stance.

7) As Christians we need to keep in mind where we place our faith. Psalm 27:1-2 reminds us, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?”

The Hate Mongers Among Us

Hate is a harsh word. As the counterpoint to love, hate reigns supreme among those emotions that the faith traditions seek to expunge from the human heart.

Hate we're told is the face of evil seen in plumes of smoke and ash on 911. Yet hate also serves a purpose for those adept at catalyzing conflicts.

Even with the media support required to sustain hate in plain sight, today's background chatter suggests that those worried about U.S. national security are at work in the shadows to counter the influence of the Israel lobby.

If so, that is good news—for the United States.

When Israeli-American writer Jeff Goldberg appeared again in the news, you knew psy-ops were underway. In March 2002, Goldberg published in The New Yorker a lengthy story alleging an alliance between the religious jihadists of Al Qaeda and the secular Baathists of Iraq.

Though a nonsensical premise, his account made such an alliance appear plausible to a public lacking in knowledge of the Middle East. Goldberg's storyline made it easier for Saddam Hussein to be portrayed as both an Evil Doer and a threat to the U.S.

Goldberg's collaborator was James Woolsey, a former Director of the CIA and an avid Zionist. Woolsey assured us that Iraqi intelligence officials met in Prague with Al Qaeda. By association, his stature in intelligence lent credibility to phony intelligence fixed around an Israeli agenda.

Goldberg reemerged in July to promote Evil Doer status for Iran. Writing in the July 22nd issue of The Atlantic, he argued the Israeli case for bombing Iran and urged that the U.S. again join the fray. No one in mainstream media mentioned his earlier manipulation.

Based on the consistency of his "journalism," it came as no surprise to see Goldberg reemerge just in time for the ninth anniversary of 911. Aided by an array of false intelligence reported by a complicit media, that murderous provocation helped persuade the U.S. to invade Iraq to remove Evil Doer Saddam Hussein.

That March 2003 agenda was first promoted in 1996 in A Clean Break, a strategy paper written for Benjamin Netanyahu by an Israeli-American team led by Richard Perle. This Jewish-Zionist operative re-emerged in July 2001 to chair the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board where he was joined by Woolsey and others supportive of this Israeli agenda....read full article

Many of America's most prominent political leaders were induced to comment on "International Burn A Koran Day"—a high profile provocation proposed by a Christian-Zionist preacher with a small congregation in a small town in Florida.

When U.S. General David Petraeus spoke out against the proposal, the issue immediately gained an international profile as did Pastor Terry Jones who quickly became an international celebrity.

One need not dig deep to identify who may have advised General Petraeus to grant a global profile to a provocation consistent with Israeli goals for the region.

In March, as head of Central Command, Petraeus offered testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee confirming facts that have long been obvious but are seldom mentioned: our "special relationship" with Israel and its oppressive occupation of Palestine undermine U.S. interests in the Middle East and endanger American personnel. Read it for yourself:

"The enduring hostilities between Israel and some of its neighbors present distinct challenges to our ability to advance our interests... Israeli-Palestinian tensions often flare into violence and large-scale armed confrontations. The conflict foments anti-American sentiment due to a perception of U.S. favoritism for Israel. Arab anger over the Palestinian question limits the strength and depth of U.S. partnerships with governments and peoples in the [region] and weakens the legitimacy of moderate regimes in the Arab world. Meanwhile, al-Qaeda and other militant groups exploit that anger to mobilize support. The conflict also gives Iran influence in the Arab world through its clients, Lebanese Hizballah and Hamas...."

Petraeus is often spoken of as a potential Republican presidential candidate. Thus the chagrin among some in Washington when this high profile military leader appeared to curry favor with Max Boot, a former Wall Street Journal op-ed editor and outspoken Zionist. In an apparent attempt to soften the candor of his written testimony before the Senate, he wrote to Boot:

"Does it help if folks know that I hosted Elie Wiesel and his wife at our quarters last Sun night?! And that I will be the speaker at?the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps in mid-Apr at the Capitol Dome..."

Boot wrote back to assure him that those comments were not necessary as Petraeus had not been described as anti-Semitic. Boot then posted a pro-Petraeus piece on the website for Commentary, a neoconservative publication, assuring readers that the general is not anti-Israel and dismissing his anti-Israel comments as inserted by staff in his statement—that Petraeus reviewed....read full article

Keeping the "anti-Semitism" theme front-and-center remains essential to advance the hate-monger's narrative with the assistance of mainstream media.

Thus the Anti-Defamation League criticized the current cover of Time magazine for what ADL President Abe Foxman suggested was a portrayal of Israelis as more interested in making money than in striking a peace accord with the Palestinians.

The article highlighted Israel's booming real estate market and the pleasure Israelis are taking in late-Summer vacations.

Nevertheless, according to Foxman: "The insidious subtext of Israeli Jews being obsessed with money echoes the age-old anti-Semitic falsehood that Jews care about money above any other interest, in this case achieving peace with the Palestinians."

Foxman insisted that Managing Editor Richard Stengel issue an apology to readers both for the timing of the article and for calling up old anti-Semitic stereotypes about Jews and money.

As if right on cue, the next day filmmaker Michael Moore jumped into the Islamic Cultural Center debate, arguing that the center should not be near the 911 site but inside it as a way for Muslims to recover their religion from Islamic extremists.

In his branded controversial style, Moore could have left it at that. Instead, he used his assured media profile to relate an account of George Washington's wish to see Jews receive equal rights....read full article

Since we have a Mormon as a front runner for the US presidency on the Republican ticket, and a former ambassador to China who just happens to be a former governor of Utah as well, you might want to familiarize yourself with something called “The White Horse Prophecy,” which appears to be simultaneously both a part of, and not a part of, official Mormon belief.

I was raised in a Mormon household. My father was a very active in the church and was a high councilman in our area of Salt Lake City. He used to talk about Mormon history and writings extensively.

I can confirm that the doctrine Joseph Smith mentioned was taught in my Mormon experience. I remember many times in the 70′s when my father would about the prophecies of the “last days”. It would be social and economic chaos...town against town and city against city...the constitution would "hang by a thread"...the Mormon male priesthood would step in and restore things...and yep, it amounted to a Mormon theocracy.

As to the comment of official LDS doctrine, what I can tell you is this. Just as in a secret society, there were different things said to different audiences. To non-members, we were groomed to give them PR friendly information (giving them the milk before the meat). The next level was things that were said in official church communications. And the next level was things that were said in less formal settings...fireside chats, family home evening meetings, etc. This third level of information was quite extensive and quite compelling...privileged semi-secret insider information. And quite convenient to the LDS corporation because it was strong enough to create loyal “insider” followers, but also allowed for plausible deniability in the outer world.

Needless to say, I have left the Mormonism reality tunnel behind...I can’t imagine too many True Believing Mormons who could handle such paradigm-busting ideas!

The White Horse Prophecy is a statement purported to have been made in 1843 by Joseph Smith, Jr., founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, regarding the future of the Latter Day Saints (Mormons) and the United States of America. The Latter Day Saints, according to the prophecy, would "go to the Rocky Mountains and ... be a great and mighty people", identified figuratively with the White Horse described in the Revelation of John. The prophecy further predicts that the United States Constitution will one day "hang like a thread" and will be saved "by the efforts of the White Horse".

Some have speculated, on the basis of the White Horse Prophecy, that Mormons expect the United States to eventually become a theocracy dominated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The authenticity of the prophecy as a whole, which was not made public until long after Smith's death, is debated, and the leadership of the LDS Church has stated that "the so-called 'White Horse Prophecy' ... is not embraced as Church doctrine." However, the belief that members of the LDS Church will one day need to take action to save the imperiled US Constitution has been attributed to Smith in several sources and has been discussed in an approving fashion by Brigham Young and other LDS leaders.

Several prominent Mormons have made statements related to the White Horse Prophecy. For instance, US presidential candidate Mitt Romney has said he considers the White Horse Prophecy to be a matter of "speculation and discussion by [LDS] church members" and "not official [LDS] church doctrine." However, US senator Orrin Hatch and conservative commentator Glenn Beck, have stated that they believe the Constitution is "hanging by a thread"

The authenticity of the White Horse Prophecy is debated. It was never made public during Smith's lifetime, but was recorded many years after his death by one of his associates, Edwin Rushton. Although some elements of the statement were confirmed by contemporary LDS Church leaders as having been taught by Smith, the prophecy as a whole has never been officially acknowledged or accepted, and it has been repudiated by the LDS Church since 1918. The prophecy's authenticity, on the other hand, has been defended by LDS scholar Duane Crowther, Mormon fundamentalist Ogden Kraut, and anti-Mormon writer Sandra Tanner.

In his 1966 book Mormon Doctrine, LDS theologian (and, later, apostle) Bruce R. McConkie wrote that "From time to time, accounts of various supposed visions, revelations, and prophecies are spread forth by and among the Latter-day Saints, who should know better than to believe or spread such false information. One of these false and deceptive documents that has cropped up again and again for over a century is the so-called White Horse Prophecy."

In early 2010, the LDS Church issued a statement saying that "the so-called 'White Horse Prophecy' is based on accounts that have not been substantiated by historical research and is not embraced as Church doctrine." Also in 2010, LDS historian Don L. Penrod examined significant differences in two early handwritten accounts of the prophecy, noted some words and phrases which were not characteristic of Joseph Smith's speaking style or current in his time, and speculated that Rushton had "in his elderly years recorded some things that [Smith] actually said, mixing in words of his own creation"—commenting additionally that "memories of words and events, especially many years later, are often faulty."

Though there are doubts about the authenticity of the White Horse Prophecy as a whole, several sources attribute to Smith the idea that the United States Constitution would one day hang by the thread, and LDS Church leaders have issued similar warnings with regard to the Constitution.

In 1855, Brigham Young reportedly wrote that "when the Constitution of the United States hangs, as it were, upon a single thread, they will have to call for the 'Mormon' Elders to save it from utter destruction; and they will step forth and do it."

In 1858, Orson Hyde (another contemporary of Smith) wrote that Smith believed "the time would come when the Constitution and the country would be in danger of an overthrow; and ... if the Constitution be saved at all, it will be by the elders of [the LDS] Church".

In 1922, the LDS Church's fifth presiding bishop, Charles W. Nibley, stated that "the day would come when there would be so much of disorder, of secret combinations taking the law into their own hands, tramping [sic] upon Constitutional rights and the liberties of the people, that the Constitution would hang as by a thread. Yes, but it will still hang, and there will be enough of good people, many who may not belong to our Church at all, people who have respect for law and for order, and for Constitutional rights, who will rally around with us and save the Constitution."

In 1928, the LDS apostle Melvin J. Ballard remarked that "the prophet Joseph Smith said the time will come when, through secret organizations taking the law into their own hands ... the Constitution of the United States would be so torn and rent asunder, and life and property and peace and security would be held of so little value, that the Constitution would, as it were, hang by a thread. This Constitution will be preserved, but it will be preserved very largely in consequence of what the Lord has revealed and what [the Mormons], through listening to the Lord and being obedient, will help to bring about, to stabilize and give permanency and effect to the Constitution itself. That also is our mission."

Satanic ritual abuse (SRA), refers to the abuse of a person or animal in a ritual setting or manner. The issue first came into public prominence in the United States media in the 1980s, spreading throughout the country and eventually to many parts of the world, before subsiding in the late 1990s. Allegations of SRA involved reports of physical and sexual abuse of individuals in the context of occult or Satanic rituals. A growth area has been the use of a developmental approach to evaluation of new and experimental programs, particularly in health, education and community development. This has also produced new training events alongside the regular program of group relations conferences. The Institute owns and edits the monthly journal Human Relations (published by Plenum Press) which is now in its 48th year, and has recently launched (in conjunction with Sage Publications) a new journal Evaluation.

Three elements combine to make the Institute unusual, if not unique: it has the independence of being entirely self-financing, with no subsidies from the government or other sources; the action research orientation places it between, but not in, the worlds of academia and consultancy; and its range of disciplines include anthropology, economics, organizational behavior, political science, psychoanalysis, psychology and sociology.

The ideology of American foundations was created by the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations in London. In 1921, the Duke of Bedford, Marquess of Tavistock, the 11th Duke, gave a building to the Institute to study the effect of shellshock on British soldiers who survived World War I. Its purpose was to establish the "breaking point" of men under stress, under the direction of the British Army Bureau of Psychological Warfare, commanded by Sir John Rawlings-Reese.

Tavistock Institute is headquartered in London. Its prophet, Sigmund Freud, settled in Maresfield Gardens when he moved to England. He was given a mansion by Princess Bonaparte. Tavistock's pioneer work in behavioral science along Freudian lines of "controlling" humans established it as the world center of foundation ideology. Its network now extends from the University of Sussex to the U.S. through the Stanford Research Institute, Esalen, MIT, Hudson Institute, Heritage Foundation, Center of Strategic and International Studies at Georgetown, where State Dept. personal are trained, US Air Force Intelligence, and the Rand and Mitre corporations. The personnel of the corporations are required to undergo indoctrination at one or more of these Tavistock controlled institutions. A network of secret groups, the Mont Pelerin Society, Trilateral Commission, Ditchley Foundation, and the Club of Rome is conduit for instructions to the Tavistock network.

Tavistock Institute developed the mass brain-washing techniques which were first used experimentally on American prisoners of war in Korea. Its experiments in crowd control methods have been widely used on the American public, a surreptitious but nevertheless outrageous assault on human freedom by modifying individual behavior through topical psychology. A German refugee, Kurt Lewin, became director of Tavistock in 1932. He came to the U.S. in 1933 as a "refugee", the first of many infiltrators, and set up the Harvard Psychology Clinic, which originated the propaganda campaign to turn the American public against Germany and involve us in World War II.

In 1938, Roosevelt executed a secret agreement with Churchill which in effect ceded U.S. sovereignty to England, because it agreed to let Special Operations Executive control U.S. policies. To implement this agreement, Roosevelt sent General Donovan to London for indoctrination before setting up OSS (now the CIA) under the aegis of SOE-SIS. The entire OSS program, as well as the CIA has always worked on guidelines set up by the Tavistock Institute.

Tavistock Institute originated the mass civilian bombing raids carried out by Roosevelt and Churchill purely as a clinical experiment in mass terror, keeping records of the results as they watched the "guinea pigs" reacting under "controlled laboratory conditions". All Tavistock and American foundation techniques have a single goal---to break down the psychological strength of the individual and render him helpless to oppose the dictators of the World Order. Any technique which helps to break down the family unit, and family inculcated principles of religion, honor, patriotism and sexual behavior, is used by the Tavistock scientists as weapons of crowd control.

The methods of Freudian psychotherapy induce permanent mental illness in those who undergo this treatment by destabilizing their character. The victim is then advised to "establish new rituals of personal interaction", that is, to indulge in brief sexual encounters which actually set the participants adrift with no stable personal relationships in their lives, destroying their ability to establish or maintain a family. Henry Kissinger, whose meteoric rise to power is otherwise inexplicable, was a German refugee and student of Sir John Rawlings-Reese at SHAEF. Dr. Peter Bourne, a Tavistock Institute psychologist, picked Jimmy Carter for President of the U.S. solely because Carter had undergone an intensive brainwashing program administered by Admiral Hyman Rickover at Annapolis. The "experiment" in compulsory racial integration in the U.S. was organized by Ronald Lippert, of the OSS and the American Jewish Congress, and director of child training at the Commission on Community Relations. The program was designed to break down the individual's sense of personal knowledge in his identity, his racial heritage. The German people of the late 1930s imagined themselves to be brave. They saw themselves as heroic. But in truth, by the 1930s, the German people had become civilized and tamed, culturally obsessed with fine details in both science and society. Their self-image of bravery was both salve and slavery. Germans were required to behave as if they were brave, even when they were not.

It's easy to look back and realize how evil Hitler was. But at the time, Hitler looked pretty good to the German people, with the help of the media. He was TIME Magazine's Man Of The Year in 1938. The German people assumed they were safe from a tyrant. They lived in a Republic, after all, with strict laws regarding what the government could and more importantly could not do. No citizen of a modern industrialized nation will send their children off to die in a war to grab another nation's resources and assets, yet resources and assets are what all wars are fought over. The nation that wishes to initiate a war of conquest must create the illusion of an attack or a threat to start a war, and must always give their populations an excuse never to question that carefully crafted illusion.

It is naive to assume that tyrants appear only in other nations and that somehow America is immune simply because they're Americans. America has escaped the clutches of a dictatorship thus far only through the efforts of those citizens who have the moral courage to stand up and point out where the government is lying to the people.

Unless more Americans are willing to have that kind of individual courage, then future generations may well look back on the American people with the same harshness of judgment with which we look back on the 1930s Germans.

A second medium was known only as Sigrun, a name etymologically related to Sigrune, a Valkyrie and one of Wotan's nine daughters in Norse legend.

Members of the Vril Society are said to have included Adolf Hitler, Alfred Rosenberg, Heinrich Himmler, Hermann Göring, and Hitler's personal physician, Dr. Theodor Morell. These were original members of the Thule Society which supposedly joined Vril in 1919. The NSDAP (National Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei) was created by Thule in 1920, one year later.

With Hitler in power in 1933, both the Thule and Vril Gesellschafts allegedly received official state backing for continued disc development programs aimed at both spaceflight and possibly a war machine.

A great deal of time and resources were spent ($23B+ US today) on researching or creating a popularly accepted “historical”, “cultural” and “scientific” background so the ideas about a “superior” Aryan race could prosper in the German society of the time.

Expeditions in Tibet, Nepal, Greece, the Arctic, and Neuschwabenland in Antarctica were organized in the search for the mythical “Aryan” nation of Hyperborea, whose capital, Ultima Thule was supposedly built by the extraterrestrial ancestors of the “Aryan races” who came from the star Aldebaran, according to some of the “Aryan” theories.

A German expedition to Tibet was organized in order to search for the origins of the Aryan race. To this end, the expedition leader, Ernst Schäfer, had his anthropologist Bruno Beger make face masks and skull and nose measurements.

Similar expeditions were organized in the pursuit of semi-mythical objects believed to bring power or granting special powers to their owner, such as the Holy Grail and the Spear of Destiny.

It has been speculated by many esoteric Hitlerists and conspiracy theorists that study Nazi mysticism and the events that unfolded in World War 2 that the Germans landed on the Moon as early as 1942. Evidence for these claims have been backed up by certain sources, including Vladimir Terziski, the president of the American Academy of Dissident Sciences. This extraordinary theory also plays into the accusations of a conspiracy in the Apollo moon landing hoax, believed to have been orchestrated by the United States government and NASA.

Another theory proposed is the possibility that the Nazis had the capability for spaceflight due to their advanced technology in engineering as well as the exo-atmospheric rocket saucers which are shown in Terziski’s documentation with pictures and designs. It has been suggested that the Nazis had managed to reach the Moon and later the planet Mars, with these rocket-powered saucers.

According to other theories it is believed that the Nazis had made contact with ‘half a dozen’ alien races, including the malevolent reptilians.

It is believed by Vladimir Terziski that there is a lunar atmosphere, as well as water and vegetation on the Moon. According to his claims it is not necessary for a man to wear a space suit to walk on the Moon. This information of course contradicts widely accepted data, such as that supplied by NASA. Terziski promotes his belief that the Germans managed to construct their lunar headquarters by tunneling under the surface of the Moon, and that towards the end of the war they had established a small Nazi research base. According to Terziski, the Germans continue their space effort from their Antarctic colony of Neuschwabenland after the end of the war in May 1945.

NOTE: one needs to ask....what, if any, of this technology ended up in the hands of the United States and/or the Soviets? The Hollow Earth theory as well as Reptilians and other extraterrestrial races....are they here and how long? Were the Nazis given technology by alien races and to what degree was it used? Did most of these supposed secrets and technology die with the Nazis? Also, was Hitler's 'Third Reich' basically conceived from a science fiction novel?

Vril: The Power of the Coming Race (original title), also known as The Coming Race is a novel published in 1870 by Edward Bulwer-Lytton. Edward Bulwer-Lytton was a member of British Royalty who was involved in politics and became the Secretary of State for the Colonies. He was a poet, playwright and novelist who authored many books.

Most people associated with secret societies and occult lodges never took his work, The Coming Race as mere fiction, but truth veiled in a fictional story. The novel is an early example of science fiction, sometimes cited as the first of this genre. The elements believed as truth was that a superior subterranean master race with the energy-form called Vril, and their claim to rise and conquer the surface race someday, was accurate, to the extent that a few wealthy and influential members who were theosophists accepted the book as truth and began to act upon their beliefs.

The plot of the novel centers on a mining engineer, who accidentally finds his way into a subterranean kingdom occupied by beings (the race of the Vril-ya), who seem to resemble angels. The hero soon discovers that they are descendants of the inhabitants of Atlantis. They have access to an extraordinary force called "Vril" that can be controlled at will. However their spiritually elevated hosts controlled the Vril.

In the novel, uses of Vril amongst the Vril-ya vary from an agent of destruction to a healing substance. According to Zee, the narrator's host, Vril can be changed into the mightiest agency over all types of matter, both animate and inanimate. It can destroy like lightning or replenish life, heal, or cure.

The hero is looked upon as a pet who might have to be put down or at least kept for all time with them. He escapes this subterranean realm with the knowledge that this race intends to someday resurface to take control of the surface dwellers, hence the title The Coming Race.

The angels or messengers have a key roll in numerous religions, and they seem to be associated with UFOs. God created Angels before humanity, regularly worship God, and are called the Sons of God. Angels are sometimes referred to as guardians or spirit guides. They are often described as pure energy, usually glowing white light emanating from a human form. The ancient Sumerian records describe angels know as cherubim. They were used to protect sensitive areas of the gods and prevent humans from entering. The angels evolved into more spiritual beings that often were depicted with wings and guarded sacred places. They were servants of God and carried out his commands. Angels are usually depicted with wings and the ability to fly, yet descriptions of them in the Bible do not mention wings indicating they likely used some type of unidentified flying object (UFOs) to fly.

These angelic visitors are real according to most of the great historic religious writings of mankind and much of Earth’s history revolves around these visitors from space who are often identified as Gods or angels. In Vedic writings the topmost authority in the material universe is known as Brahma, and he lives in the highest material planetary system, called Brahmaloka or heaven. It seems reasonable to assume the most sacred writings of our ancestors are not simply myths, but are based on actual visits by angels, ET visitors, devas or what ever you choose to call them. They are often given credit for bringing writing, agriculture, and religion to Earth. Thousands of books, art and songs have been authored describing their interactions with Earth.

If you visit the great temples and churches around the world, almost all have the story of a strange being who oversaw their construction. Often there are similar stories of strange flying objects in the sky and even art to convince us they are real. We celebrate Christmas throughout much of the world based on the birth of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. The logical question is what has this to do with UFOs? I suggest there is a connection.

Scientist Dr. Carl Sagan in his book, “Intelligent Life in the Universe” indicated Earth had likely been visited by extraterrestrials. He states: “Sumer was an early–perhaps the first -civilization the contemporary sense on the planet Earth. It was founded in the forth millennium B.C. or earlier. We don’t know where the Sumerians came from. I feel that if the Sumerian civilization is depicted by the descendents of the Sumerians themselves to be of non-human origin, the relevant legends should be examined carefully.” (page 456) He goes on to ask, ”What might an advanced extraterrestrial civilization want from us?”....He answered his own question by stating, “One of the primary motivations for the exploration of the New World was to convert the inhabitants to Christianity-peacefully if possible-forcefully if necessary. Can we exclude the possibility of an extraterrestrial evangelism?” (Page 463)

Few remember that Angels and their glowing craft had a key role in history of diverse nations. Angels are celestial beings believed to be a messenger or mediator between God and humankind, perhaps to prepare Earth to join other civilizations in space. In ancient Mesapotomia, ancient Greece, Judaism, Christianity and in Islam angels were sent as divine messengers to humans to instruct, inform, or command. Angels also function as heavenly warriors and as guardians. Many abductees claim healing, love and miracles from the angels. Angels are often called the Sons of God. In traditional Israelite thought, angels were assumed to have the form of human males, and as a consequence they were sometimes mistaken for men.

Billy Graham, the evangelical minister and the friend of US Presidents in his book, “Angels,” makes the following surprising statements, “Some have speculated that UFOs could very well be a part of God’s angelic host who preside over the physical affairs of universal creation. While we cannot assert such a view with certainty nothing can hide the fact that these unexplained events are occurring with greater frequency around the entire world. Some take the detailed descriptions of a highly credible airline crew and lay them alongside Ezekiel and put forth a strong case —- such theories are now being given serious attention even by people who make no claim to believe in the God of the Bible. UFOs are astonishingly angel-like in some of their reported appearances.”

According to the book “Heaven: A History” by Colleen McDannell, ancient Greeks such as Plato and Cicero believed that the soul contained the most vital aspects of the person. Once released from its imprisonment in the body, the angels approached and greeted the soul and invited it to mount a chariot, after testing it for worthiness, and then traveled to a far off place. Hellenistic Jews and later Christians believe in the immorality of the human soul. The soul lived on with angels, and ultimately God in heaven also called the Isles of Blest.

Most Christian churches teach that angels or spirits do exist. There are almost 300 references to angels in the Bible, and many of the stories are similar to those we hear today. Saint Thomas Aquinas, one of the great theological writers devoted an entire treatise to angels in his Summa Theologica. He insisted that they were constantly involved with the daily lives of Christians. There are two classes of angels according to the Bible.

Common angels are real personal beings with personal bodies, with personal souls including feelings, passions, emotions and intelligence and ability to learn. The scriptures tell us the angels can appear visible or invisible, and have the ability to travel at inconceivable speed with the ability to ascend and descend. They can do anything that humans can do including sin. They are subjected to God’s will, but are interested in earthly affairs. They constantly watch us and act as guardians. They dwell in heaven and stand before God. They are organized into principalities and powers with thrones. They work daily and meet responsibilities such as guarding gates, minister to saints, rule nations, lead sinners to become good, and protect the saints.

Some of their responsibilities seem to incorporate things that aliens also accomplish. They participate as soldiers in Armies, and apparently wage war with the fallen angels. They come to men in dreams, and they receive departed spirits. Many of our great inventors claim the inspiration and imagination for their inventions had come to them in dreams or sudden telepathic insights. The angels are immortal and are heavenly spirit beings. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. Rev. 12: 7-8.

The angels come from Heaven. The Bible tells us Heaven is a planet and the dwelling place of God and his angles that was created in the beginning by God’s hands and word long before Earth. It was made for habitation and maintaining life to glorify God. It is a paradise but has had rebellion and war with Satan and his angels that were sent to Earth. It is located in the north part of the universe in relation to Earth. Psalms 75-6. It is round like the Earth and has cities, mountains, rivers, clouds, mansions, temples, foundations, thrones, books, swords, keys, animals such as horses, food, clothing, drinks, armies, streets, forests etc.

Men have been taken to Heaven. Ezekiel described craft believed to have flown from Heaven.
Angels are often depicted with wings in beautiful paintings from the Middle Ages. Most people describe the angels appearing similar to large human beings without wings but as radiant beings. Saint Thomas Aquinas felt that angels were “pure soul” beings who lacked real bodies.
Most of the description of angels compares nicely with our available data of at least one group of the aliens. In Genesis, angels are described as having bodies with parts such as hands, feet, eyes, head, voices, mouths, hair, faces and other human body parts.

Zecharia Sitchin the best selling author of four books called the “Earth Chronicles” said that Genesis is true and ought to be read practically as a historic and scientific document. He feels that ancient civilizations are older and much more technically/scientifically oriented than we once believed. Ancient Sumerian texts as well as the Bible reveal the existence of angels or Anunnaki, ‘Those who from Heaven to Earth Came.’ Only in recent years has modern science caught up with ancient scientific knowledge.

The Bible tells us that it was given to humanity by five sources: 1. Through the audible voice of God (Matthew. 3:16). 2. From angels, (Hebrews 2:2). 3. By prophets, (Acts 3:21). 4. From Jesus, (Hebrews 1:1) 5. From the apostles (Acts 1:2). Therefore, it is the inspired revelation from God. By closely examining the Bible you can come to the conclusion that the alien presence and their craft have a close connection to the Bible. The Bible refers to the Elohim or angels in the plural, who are sent to earth in glowing metal craft to help in human evolution.

The modern concept of geoengineering (or climate engineering) is usually taken to mean proposals to deliberately manipulate the Earth's climate through two primary ideologies, Solar Radiation Management (SRM) and Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR):
1-Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) and seqeustration. This is artificial trees, ocean fertilization etc. These projects are declassified for the most part.
2- Solar Radiation Management (SRM), controlling sunlight before it reaches the planet.
A- Stratospheric Aerosol Geo-Engineering (SAG-SRM) is the artificial modification of Earth's climate systems using reflective nano-materials (aerosols) to reflect sunlight. The aerosols are dispersed via jet aircraft trails(chemtrails) that expand into reflective artificial clouds. The reflective material of choice is aluminum.

Chemtrailing has other classified intentions, the foremost being rapid weather modification, the weapon of weapons. A foreign power can be brought to its knees thru drought and famine rather than soldier's boots on the ground. Other uses of chemtrailing include biological and chemical warfare. Aerosol death can be deployed over years or days, as a biological or chemical warfare delivery system. Weapons scientists have already admitted to conceptualizing geoengineering as a weapon. Several government agencies, including the Air Force, have released denials to civilian chemtrail research. Many people find it hard to believe that the government would be involved in any secret program or experiments that would harm the public. The evidence is to the contrary.

Both high ranking officials with the CIA and the FBI have come forward about the chemtrail program.

Chemtrail jets are known flying out of Pinal Airfield/Evergreen Air in Arizona, there are 4 planes flying out of the air national gaurd field at Lincoln Nebraska, and an unknown number of planes out of Fort Sill Oklahoma.

The program appeared to go "online" around 1997, though sightings of short-lived aerosol spray cloud construction goes back to the 1970s. Whistleblowers and discovered documents have identified the chemtrail program as Icarus, Deep Shield, Shield Project and Project Cloverleaf to name a few. Now the government is calling it geoengineering (and say it doesn't exist yet). But it is accurate to say that around 1997, one by one people became startled at the appearance of their first trail sighting. Within days there was a second trail and within months there were trails that never disappeared, that were making clouds, and were around most of the time.

CHEMTRAILING=SAG
In summary, SAG (stratospheric aerosol geoengineering) is the intentional spraying of toxic heavy metal aerosol payloads with military and/or defense contractor, and/or commercial jet aircraft, for the stated goal of cooling the planet, or as stated in the Air Forces document, to control the weather over your enemy, or to deliver an aerosol agent that is chemical, biological or otherwise, over a population target, including US citizens.

Aerosol spray geoengineering patents describe jet aircraft dispersing aerosols as reflective contrails that expand into clouds. The primary aerosol in the Hughes Welsbach patent is aluminum. Other patents call for barium, sulfur, strontium and a host of other potential atmospheric additives.

Aluminum, Barium and other elements have been found in surface waters, air samples and soil tests, HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS OF TIMES HIGHER THAN EPA ALLOWABLE LEVELS.

Geo-Engineering also includes EMF/Atomspheric Heaters, like HAARP. Many researchers are linking HAARP and chemtrails, noting abrupt chem-cloud activities like "wisping", "blanketing" "hole in the sky" and other anomalies as if the trails/clouds were made of metals and a giant magnet were brought into proximity.

Coincidence that Monsanto will “come to the rescue” with aluminum resistance genes because normal plants die off in the presence of excess aluminum? The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Its purpose is to analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance purposes (such as missile detection). The HAARP program operates a major Arctic facility, known as the HAARP Research Station, on an Air Force owned site near Gakona, Alaska.

The most prominent instrument at the HAARP Station is the Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI), a high power radio frequency transmitter facility operating in the high frequency (HF) band. The IRI is used to temporarily excite a limited area of the ionosphere. Other instruments, such as a VHF and a UHF radar, a fluxgate magnetometer, a digisonde and an induction magnetometer, are used to study the physical processes that occur in the excited region.

Work on the HAARP Station began in 1993. The current working IRI was completed in 2007, and its prime contractor was BAE Advanced Technologies.

HAARP publicity gives the impression that the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program is mainly an academic project with the goal of changing the ionosphere to improve communications for our own good.

However, other U.S. military documents put it more clearly -- HAARP aims to learn how to "exploit the ionosphere for Department of Defense purposes." Communicating with submarines is only one of those purposes.

In another document prepared by the government, the U.S. Air Force claims: "The potential applications of artificial electromagnetic fields are wide-ranging and can be used in many military or quasi-military situations... Some of these potential uses include dealing with terrorist groups, crowd control, controlling breaches of security at military installations, and antipersonnel techniques in tactical warfare.

In all of these cases the EM (electromagnetic) systems would be used to produce mild to severe physiological disruption or perceptual distortion or disorientation. In addition, the ability of individuals to function could be degraded to such a point that they would be combat ineffective.

Another advantage of electromagnetic systems is that they can provide coverage over large areas with a single system. They are silent and countermeasures to them may be difficult to develop... One last area where electromagnetic radiation may prove of some value is in enhancing abilities of individuals for anomalous phenomena.

Opposition to the project was immediate. Initial fear raised by ham operators and airline pilots over possible disruption of radio communication, was followed by environmentalists concerned over unforeseen radio frequency [RF] effects on animals and human beings. Soon, individuals and groups ranging from university scientists to followers of the paranormal, voiced their criticisms - a few even suggesting that this military technology would not only destroy communications, but might actually manipulate global weather systems and influence ways in which people think and behave. Still, given the esoteric nature of the topic, public expression of this criticism was largely limited to the Internet and letters to the editor of Alaska newspapers.

In 1994, a series of articles appearing in the environmental publication Earth Island Journal bought wider attention. Shortly thereafter, HAARP was selected as an important chapter in the book The Ten Top Censored Stories of 1994. In response, the Air Force placed its own HAARP Home Page on the world wide web, explaining the project's scientific goals and addressing criticisms raised in opposition to it. As public consciousness was heightened, more articles appeared in the press; radio talk show hosts invited guests to present opposing sides of the issue; TV networks devoted segments to it; and in Alaska, the legislature held hearings to learn more about HAARP and its potential environmental impact.

Then in 1996, the litigation director of Trustees for Alaska - representing the interests of major environmental organizations including Greenpeace, National Audubon Society, Sierra Club, National Wildlife Federation, and others - submitted a detailed memorandum to the Air Force urging it to prepare a supplemental Environmental Impact Statement [EIS] for public review and response.

The stated reasons for this request included the following:

* That substantial changes have been made over the course of HAARP's development;

* That extensive questions remain over the military's current intended uses for the project;

* That additional scientific evidence raises new questions about its possible effects;

* That under such circumstances, the regulations and spirit of the National Environmental Policy Act [NEPA] call for a supplemental EIS.

Examples of significant changes occurring in the description of HAARP research included a newly described emphasis on earth-penetrating tomography permitting the detection of tunnels, underground shelters and other forms of 'counterproliferation;' along with increased government funding allocated to HAARP based on a new budgetary designation listing it as an "advanced military weapon."

Responding to these and similar criticisms, the Air Force reiterated that although HAARP is managed by the Air Force and Navy, "it is purely a scientific research facility posing no threat to potential adversaries and has no value as a military target."

H.A.A.R.P. is a scientific research facility, located near Gakona, in the remote Alaskan outback and is a joint Navy and Air Force project. The Nephilim were a race that came to dominate the antediluvian (pre-flood) world, and are referred to in the Bible as the heroes of old, men of renown. They were reportedly the children born to the "Sons of God" by the "daughters of men". It is also most important to note that they are mentioned almost simultaneous to God's statement that He would destroy the earth by flood, and it seems from this association that their effect upon mankind was one of the primary justifications that brought the destruction.

"Nephilim" is rendered fallen, or possibly feller: a tyrant or bully. Several English translations rendered the word "giants", but of late translators seem to prefer to leave it untranslated. The "giants" translation may have come from the Greek old testament where "nephilim" was "gegantes" which looks like "giant" but in modern Greek would be "titans". In Greek mythos, the titans were the supernaturally powerful offspring of gods and humans.

In Genesis 6 , where the global flood is described, it states that the Nephilim were also on the Earth afterward. Many therefore, assume that descriptions of giants in the Bible are references to Nephilim bloodlines. However, the only specific mention of Nephilim on the earth after the flood is part of the bad report from the spies in Numbers 13, a report that is called "bad" (or "evil") as in an unreliable source.

"When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them,
The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.
Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them.
They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air — for I am grieved that I have made them." - Genesis 6:1-7

The Sons of God:
It is unclear what the Sons of God were, but they are distinguished from the daughters of men. The most obvious interpretation is that the Nephilim were a hybrid race between two distinct beings. There are at least three schools of thought regarding the Sons of God.

The older view, held nearly unanimously by ancient writers prior to Augustine of Hippo, is that the Nephilim were a hybrid race between certain fallen angels, called the Benei Ha'Elohim("Sons of God") or The Watchers in extra-Biblical traditions, and human women.

Biblical references:
Several tribes are encountered in the campaign of the Five Kings in Abraham's day that some argue might be Nephilim or hybrids of Nephilim. They are described as having become several tribes occupying the lands around the Valley of Siddim (Dead Sea) and evidently intermixed with the Canaanites.

Genesis 14 and Deuteronomy 2 name these tribes as the Rephaim ("titans", children of "Rapha"), Zuzim or Zamzummim ("terrible ones"), Emim, Horites, and Anakim ("crushing tyrants"). The tribe of the Anakim are directly connected with the Nephilim in the false report of the spies described in (Numbers 13:33 ). The context of the passages suggest that the other tribes of giants were relatives of the Anakim or other lines of Nephilim, particularly the Rephaim whose giant descendant is described as living in Gath along with the Anakim Goliath and Lahmi (see below). The Rephaim are giants (in fact these peoples are generally described as being tall or large) and seem to have been thus matched with the Nephilim based on theEnglish rendering of "giants" in Genesis 6.

The tribe of the Anakim were descended from a giant named Anak, who was a son or grandson of a giant named "Arba", from which the ancient city of Hebron was originally called "Kiriath Arba" or "The City of Arba" because "Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim"[2]. This tribe was so tall, that the weak-kneed spies reported, "we are like grasshoppers to them."

Scripture describes how the tribes of giants were fought and destroyed by the tribes of normal men who replaced them, including the Israelites. Moses killed Og, king of the Rehpaim who lived on the Golan heights near Mt. Hermon. Og had a bed nine cubits long (13.5 to 15.5 feet, depending on which cubit was used) and was called "last of the remnant of the giants"[3]. Og may be the source of the word "ogre" in the English language.

Joshua drove the three remaining sons of Anak out of Hebron in his first campaignm. They evidently reoccupied the city of Hebron while Joshua was waging his campaign against Canaanite cities in the North. Caleb later retook Hebron and killed the three giants.

Later David and Saul fought a remnant of smaller giants who had taken refuge in the Philistine city of Gath. They included Goliath, who was about nine feet tall, and his brother Lahmi "whose spear had a shaft like a weaver's rod". The last of the Gittite giants was slain, "In still another battle, which took place at Gath, there was a huge man with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot—twenty-four in all. He also was descended from Rapha".

The last Scriptural reference to the giants may be Isaiah 45:14 , which prophecies that Sabean "men of stature" will become slaves in chains of the redeemed Israelites.

The characteristics of these tribes described in Scripture:
* Their height was two or three times the height of normal men.
* They were associated with some kind of unholy intermixing before the Flood.
* They were closely associated with the wicked Canaanites after the Flood.
* In one case they are described as having polydactyly (extra fingers and toes).
* Unlike the Canaanites, there are no examples of Nephilim who became followers of God.

Apocryphal references:
The Nephilim are described in great detail in the Book of Jubilees and Book of Enoch. Both of these books have been traditionally rejected as apocryphal by the European Church. However, they were both considered canonical by the Ethiopic Church from the time of Christ until today, and the Book of Enoch was quoted in the Biblical Epistle of Jude.

Jubilees has the following to say about the sons of God and the Nephilim:
"And in the second week of the tenth jubilee [449-55 A.M.] Mahalalel took unto him to wife Dinah, the daughter of Barakiel the daughter of his father's brother, and she bare him a son in the third week in the sixth year, [461 A.M.] and he called his name Jared, for in his days the angels of the Lord descended on the earth, those who are named the Watchers, that they should instruct the children of men, and that they should do judgment and uprightness on the earth." - Jubilees 4:15

"And it came to pass when the children of men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, that the angels of God saw them on a certain year of this jubilee, that they were beautiful to look upon; and they took themselves wives of all whom they chose, and they bare unto them sons and they were giants. And lawlessness increased on the earth and all flesh corrupted its way, alike men and cattle and beasts and birds and everything that walks on the earth -all of them corrupted their ways and their orders, and they began to devour each other, and lawlessness increased on the earth and every imagination of the thoughts of all men (was) thus evil continually. And God looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt, and all flesh had corrupted its orders, and all that were upon the earth had wrought all manner of evil before His eyes. And He said that He would destroy man and all flesh upon the face of the earth which He had created. But Noah found grace before the eyes of the Lord. And against the angels whom He had sent upon the earth, He was exceedingly wroth, and He gave commandment to root them out of all their dominion, and He bade us to bind them in the depths of the earth, and behold they are bound in the midst of them, and are (kept) separate. And against their sons went forth a command from before His face that they should be smitten with the sword, and be removed from under heaven. And He said 'My spirit shall not always abide on man; for they also are flesh and their days shall be one hundred and twenty years'. And He sent His sword into their midst that each should slay his neighbour, and they began to slay each other till they all fell by the sword and were destroyed from the earth." - Jubilees 5:1-8

The Book of Enoch has the following to say about them:
"It happened after the sons of men had multiplied in those days, that daughters were born to them, elegant and beautiful. And when the angels, the sons of heaven, beheld them, they became enamoured of them, saying to each other, Come, let us select for ourselves wives from the progeny of men, and let us beget children. Then their leader Samyaza said to them; I fear that you may perhaps be indisposed to the performance of this enterprise; And that I alone shall suffer for so grievous a crime.
But they answered him and said; We all swear;
And bind ourselves by mutual execrations, that we will not change our intention, but execute our projected undertaking. Then they swore all together, and all bound themselves by mutual execrations. Their whole number was two hundred, who descended upon Ardis, which is the top of mount Armon.

That mountain therefore was called Armon, because they had sworn upon it, and bound themselves by mutual execrations. [Mt. Armon, or Mt. Hermon, derives its name from the Hebrew word herem, a curse.]

These are the names of their chiefs: Samyaza, who was their leader, Urakabarameel, Akibeel, Tamiel, Ramuel, Danel, Azkeel, Saraknyal, Asael, Armers, Batraal, Anane, Zavebe, Samsaveel, Ertael, Turel, Yomyael, Arazyal. These were the prefects of the two hundred angels, and the remainder were all with them.

Then they took wives, each choosing for himself; whom they began to approach, and with whom they cohabited; teaching them sorcery, incantations, and the dividing of roots and trees.
And the women conceiving brought forth giants,
Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured all which the labor of men produced; until it became impossible to feed them; When they turned themselves against men, in order to devour them; And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, and to drink their blood. Their flesh one after another. [Or, "one another’s flesh." R.H. Charles notes that this phrase may refer to the destruction of one class of giants by another.]

Then the earth reproved the unrighteous.
Moreover Azazyel taught men to make swords, knives, shields, breastplates, the fabrication of mirrors, and the workmanship of bracelets and ornaments, the use of paint, the beautifying of the eyebrows, the use of stones of every valuable and select kind, and all sorts of dyes, so that the world became altered.

Impiety increased; fornication multiplied; and they transgressed and corrupted all their ways.
Amazarak taught all the sorcerers, and dividers of roots: Armers taught the solution of sorcery; Barkayal taught the observers of the stars, Akibeel taught signs; Tamiel taught astronomy; And Asaradel taught the motion of the moon,

Mystery of the Crystal Skulls

One of archaeology's most compelling mysteries is that of the 13 Crystal Skulls. Skulls have been one of the most powerful objects of symbolism in human history, all over the world. Several "perfect" Crystal Skulls have been found in parts of Mexico, Central and South America. Together, they form a mystery as enigmatic as the Nazca Lines, the Great Pyramids and Stonehenge.

These skulls are believed to be between 5000 and 35000 years old. During early expeditions, archaeologists were told by locals that the skulls possessed magical powers and healing properties. However, people were unsure as to where they came from, or even why they existed. Some like to believe that these were remains from the lost civilization of Atlantis. Others like to believe these are fakes. And yet another group of psychics believe that these skulls have the capability to enable us to look into the past, present and future.

Historians and social anthropologists decided to find out more about the strange skulls. Very soon, they came across an ancient Indian legend saying that there had been thirteen crystal skulls of the Goddess of Death; they had been kept separately from each other under the strict control of pagan priests and special warriors.

Searches for more skulls started; some of them were found in museums and some in private collections not only in the USA, but in Mexico, Brazil, France, Mongolia, and in Tibet. There were more than 13 skulls found. However, not all of them were as perfect as the Mitchell-Hedges skull. Very likely, those were just later attempts to create something similar to the original skulls that were believed to have been gifts by God to the people.

The very construction and make of the skulls defies common logic. There are several crystal skulls in existence today around the world. The most famous of all the crystal skulls is: The Mitchell-Hedges Skull:

As the story goes, the skull was first discovered by the expedition headed by famous English archeologist F. Albert Mitchell-Hedges in Central America in 1927. Before that, the archeologist started clearing an ancient Maya settlement in a damp tropical jungle in Yucatan (British Honduras at that time and currently Belize) in 1924. It was decided to burn down 33 hectares of forest covering the ancient constructions of the settlement to make the archeological dig easier. When the smoke lifted, the expedition saw amazing ruins of a stone pyramid, city walls, and a huge amphitheater capable to seating thousands of spectators. The ancient settlement was called Lubaantun: The Place of the Fallen Stones.

After three years, Mitchell-Hedges organized another expedition; he took his daughter Anna with him, but, at that moment, the archeologist hardly supposed that the girl would be a lucky talisman for the expedition. On the day of her 17th birthday, in April 1927, Anna discovered a strange item under the debris of an ancient altar. That was a natural sized human skull made of a rock crystal and wonderfully polished. The skull lacked its lower jaw, which was found dozens of meters from the site three months later. The crystal details could be moved with the help of perfect, smooth joints on the skull and easily moved with every touch. Those who touched the skull experienced rather strange feelings.

It now appears that this tale of the skull's discovery was entirely fabricated. Mitchell-Hedges apparently purchased the skull at an auction at Sothebys in London, in 1943. This has been verified by documents at the British Museum, which had bid against Mitchell-Hedges for the crystal artifact, but the origin of which is attributed to Central America. The skull remains in the possession of the octogenarian Anna Mitchell-Hedges. She resides in Canada and displays the skull on frequent tours. Anna has maintained for all these years that she discovered the skull, even though there is reason to doubt that she was present at the Lubaatun expedition at all.

Continuing, Anna was the first to experience strange things. The girl put the skull near her bed before going to sleep. Anna said that she dreamed of the life of Indians who had lived thousands of years ago, and the girl could describe the dream in detail.

At first, Anna didn't attribute the strange dream to the crystal skull. However, strange dreams haunted the girl each time she had the skull near her bed. New dreams brought more new details about the life of Indians, details unknown even to scientists. When the skull was removed from the bedroom, there were no strange dreams. And they recommenced as soon as the strange find was taken back to Anna's room. The girl heard Indians talking and watched their everyday life and sacrifice rituals.

After the death of her father, at the beginning of the 1960s, Anna decided to give the strange skull to scientists for investigations. She believed that the skull was too perfect to have been made by the Indian civilizations living before the Columbus discoveries.

First, art critic Frank Dordland started investigating the strange skull. After a closer investigation, he discovered that the skull had a complicated system of lenses, prisms, and channels, creating unusual optical effects. The investigator was surprised to discover no signs of processing on the skull's perfectly polished surface. They couldn't be seen even with a microscope. Frank Dordland even addressed Hewlett-Packard, the famous company that specialized in crystal oscillators at that time, for a competent examination of the crystal.

The results were shocking not only for the scientist himself. The research by Hewlett-Packard in 1964 in a special laboratory revealed that the skull had been made long before the first civilizations appeared in that part of America where the skull was found. In addition, rock crystal of such perfect quality couldn't be found in that area. The most amazing thing was that the ancient skull weighing 5.13 kg, 203.4 mm long and 125.4 wide had been made of a whole crystal. This fact contradicted the laws of physics.

Hewlett-Packard experts analyzed the skull and discovered that it consisted of three or four joints grown together. After close analysis, they found out that the skull had been cut of one piece of crystal, together with the lower jaw. The rock crystal has a hardness that is slightly lower than that of topaz, corundum, and diamond; it can be cut with diamonds only. It is astonishing, but the ancient Indians managed to cut it somehow, and even made a lower jaw with the joints. Someone had made the skull of a whole crystal so carefully that it seemed that nobody had ever touched it. A kind of a prism was found at the back bottom of the skull; any ray of light that strikes the eye-sockets is reflected there. If you look into the eye-sockets, you may see the whole room reflected.

Hewlett-Packard experts say that the skull had been made regardless of all laws and rules. They surprisingly said: "The damned thing can't exist at all. Those who had done it had no idea of crystallography or of fiber optics. The people completely ignored the axis of symmetry, which was to prevent the crystal from splitting during processing. It is strange why it didn't split at that! No matter how unbelievable it may seem, the strange crystal skull can be seen in the Museum of American Indians.

Researchers found that the skull had been carved against the natural axis of the crystal. Modern crystal sculptors always take into account the axis, or orientation of the crystal's molecular symmetry, because if they carve "against the grain," the piece is bound to shatter -- even with the use of lasers and other high-tech cutting methods.

To compound the strangeness, HP could find no microscopic scratches on the crystal which would indicate it had been carved with metal instruments. Dorland's best hypothesis for the skull's construction is that it was roughly hewn out with diamonds, and then the detail work was meticulously done with a gentle solution of silicon sand and water. The exhausting job -- assuming it could possibly be done in this way -- would have required man-hours adding up to 300 years to complete.

We are told genetic foods are safe but in the following documentaries we are told something very different, and what we are told is backed up by shocking facts. The connections between Monsanto and the FDA are very alarming. Many highly influential politicians have worked for and or have ties with Monsanto. We are told that the FDA can be trusted but when you look at the facts they prove they can't when it comes to Monsanto. Look at this: Clarence Thomas Prior to being the Supreme Court Judge who put George W. Bush in office, was Monsanto's lawyer. Anne Veneman, Former US Secretary of Agriculture, was on the Board of Directors of Monsanto's Calgene Corporation. Donald Rumsfeld, former Secretary of Defense was on the Board of Directors of Monsanto's Searle pharmaceuticals. Tommy Thompson, former US Secretary of Health received $50,000 in donations from Monsanto during his winning campaign for Wisconsin's governor, and the two congressmen receiving the most donations from Monsanto during the 2000 election were Larry Combest (Former Chairman of the House Agricultural Committee) and Missouri senate candidate John Ashcroft, who became the Attorney General during the Bush administration. In order for the FDA to determine if Monsanto's growth hormones were safe or not, Monsanto was required to submit a scientific report on that topic. Margaret Miller, one of Monsanto's researchers put the report together. Shortly before the report submission, Miller left Monsanto and was hired by the FDA. Her first job for the FDA was to determine whether or not to approve the report she wrote for Monsanto. In short, Monsanto approved its own report. Assisting Miller was another former Monsanto researcher, Susan Sechen. Deciding whether or not rBGH-derived milk should be labeled fell under the jurisdiction of another FDA official, Michael Taylor, who previously worked as a lawyer for Monsanto.

There are also major deals and connections between not only the Bush administration but to Bush himself and his entire family. If your interested then do an internet search for "Bush" and "Monsanto" and you'll find tons of very good investigation on the subject.

In the 2010 growing season Monsanto plans to unleash its latest Frankenfood experiment on the American and Canadian public, a new version of genetically mutated corn with eight abnormal gene traits called Genuity SmartStax corn. It is the culmination of an astonishing scandal that has been steadily
building over the past decade. During this time Monsanto’s mutated seeds have grown to 90% of the U.S. soy crop and 85% of the corn crop – and wheat is next on their agenda.

Their efforts have been marked by corporate bullying and have drawn the attention of the Justice Department who is conducting an antitrust investigation. All the while they have been spending millions on lobbying to fast track their agenda before the American public even realizes what hit them.

Europeans are livid about the lack of safety testing for this newest Monsanto experiment. Monsanto is making an ominous power play to corner the worldwide market on food and seeds.
In the process they are adversely altering the very nature of food itself.

Few people would eat Monsanto’s “food” if they understood what it was or knew that they were eating it. President Obama and his family won’t eat it. Neither did the Bush family. Even a Monsanto employee cafeteria rejects it. This is no laughing matter. Your health and the health of your children and grandchildren are at stake. It seems more like a scene from a horror flick than something happening in modern day America. Imagine your digestive tract turned into a Roundup herbicide factory and other warped genetic signals slowly and progressively rotting away your health. Unlike acute food poisoning from infectious E.coli, it is a slow and insidious poisoning.

Why GMO Food is Dangerous:
Monsanto’s GMO (genetically modified organism) technology inserts non-food genes, genes from other species, into the DNA of food, altering the very nature of food itself. In some cases
these genes make the crops more tolerant to the Roundup herbicide made by Monsanto and in other cases the genes abnormally cause the DNA of food cells to produce toxic proteins that act as pesticides.

Most people are not comfortable with the concept of altering the nature of food in a grand genetic experiment with unknown consequences. The idea of food producing its own internal toxin is equally abhorrent. After all, who wants to eat toxic food? Even fewer trust this technology in the hands of Monsanto, a company with a history of blatant disregard for human health. It was Monsanto that knowingly poisoned the planet with toxic PCBs.

The process of making GMO seeds also poses health risks. Viral promoter genes are used during this production process and become part of the DNA mix, posing a risk for new types of viral disease. An unintended side-effect of this production technology is chronic activation or suppression of normal genes in the modified plants. A near-death experience (NDE), refers to a broad range of personal experiences associated with impending death, encompassing multiple possible sensations including detachment from the body, feelings of levitation, extreme fear, total serenity, security, or warmth. Also the experience of absolute dissolution, and the presence of a light, which some people interpret as a deity.

These phenomena are usually reported after an individual has been pronounced clinically dead or otherwise very close to death, hence the term near-death experience. Many NDE reports, however, originate from events that are not life-threatening. With recent developments in cardiac resuscitation techniques, the number of reported NDE-s has increased. Many in the scientific community regard such experiences as hallucinatory, while paranormal specialists and some mainstream scientists claim them to be evidence of an afterlife.

Popular interest in near-death experiences was initially sparked by Raymond Moody's 1975 book Life After Life and the founding of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) in 1981. According to a Gallup poll, approximately eight million Americans claim to have had a near-death experience. Some researchers claim that the number of near-death experience-rs may be underestimated, mainly because some such individuals are presumably afraid or otherwise reluctant to talk about their experiences.

There is some controversy as to how to define a NDE. Researchers have not reached a consensus on how to define NDE. A letter to health care professionals from IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies) developed a NDE definition by consensus of the IANDS Board to be: “A lucid experience associated with perceived consciousness apart from the body occurring at the time of actual or threatened death or medical compromise”. The research definition used by others is similar: "A lucid experience associated with perceived consciousness apart from the body occurring at the time of actual or threatened imminent death". NDE-s may occur in adults or children. NDE-s have been reported from the time of Plato, and in a variety of cultures around the world.

An important point is that you do not have to have physically died (with cessation of breathing and/or heart function) to have an experience like a NDE. Experiences identical to NDE associated with clinical death have been reported in a variety of circumstances in which there was no associated life-threatening event. Such circumstances may include, for example, non-fatal traffic accidents, mountaineering accidents, and childbirth. Experiences similar to NDE are relatively common in terminally ill patients, and are referred to as “deathbed visions” or “nearing end of life experience”. NDE-s are one part of a spectrum of significant human spiritual experiences. An experience can be deeply significant and meaningful to the experience-r without meeting the strict definition of NDE. Such experiences may be referred to as “NDE-like experiences”.

The following was taken from a survey and research conducted by the: International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS).

What is clear is that NDE is not a hallucination or mental/psychiatric dysfunction. They are real experiences. Virtually all NDE experience-rs encountered by researchers felt their experience was real, significant and meaningful. When asked directly if the experience was dreamlike in any way, virtually all NDE experience-rs surveyed answered no. The NDE experience has been extensively documented in medical literature. Skeptics of NDE have not been able to find a plausible biological or physiologic explanation for NDE. This failure on the part of skeptics explains the large number of varied and generally unaccepted alternative explanations for NDE.

The level of consciousness during the experience was almost always described as fully alert, and often (as one experience-r described) “far more conscious than humanly normal.” These experiences seem quite apart from anything encountered in daily living. When NDE-rs surveyed were asked “Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?”, 81% answered no.

Researchers are impressed with both the similarities and dissimilarities of NDE experiences. While some experience-rs have a detailed and prolonged experience, others have a shorter and less "dramatic" experience. They believe all NDE experiences are significant and important in our quest to learn their meaning.

No two NDE experiences are identical, but within a group of experiences certain patterns become evident. NDE experience-rs describe one or more of the following (the order may vary):

1. Difficulty in explaining the NDE.
Ordinary language often seems inadequate to describe these extraordinary experiences.

2. Associated life threatening event.
The threat may be real or perceived, physical and/or psychological.

3. Separation of consciousness from the body.
Sensation of viewing surroundings from a place other than the physical body. Some may see their bodies, and often frantic resuscitation efforts. They are generally able to hear what is being said, often to the considerable embarrassment of medical personnel involved in the resuscitation. In the out of body state, they are not able to interact physically with anything or anyone. There is often a sense of peace, and virtually never discomfort.

4. The ability to see and hear details of events (which may be close or distant from the body) while unconscious.
These details (which may include a pronouncement of death) are often later confirmed by others who are generally astonished and mystified that the experience-r was aware of these events while unconscious. In a recent survey, NDE-rs were asked “Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?” 37% answered affirmatively.

5. Experiencing intensely powerful emotions.
These emotions may include ecstasy, fear, peace and calm. Most NDE-s are associated with very pleasant emotions, but around 18% are associated with emotions of fear, judgment, emptiness, etc. It should be noted that positive life changes are usually associated with frightening experiences, including a near complete absence of fear of death. The positive life changes are so significant, that most frightening NDE experience-rs later say they are glad they had the experience.

6. Hearing distinctive sounds.
Experience-rs may report hearing a variety of unusual sounds or noise. They may be described as pleasant, musical, buzzing or ringing. Often music is described that is almost always beautiful beyond what is worldly possible.

7. Passing into and through a dark tunnel.
The tunnel is variably described regarding its appearance and size. Researchers have not encountered an NDE-r with a claustrophobic sense in the tunnel. Movement in the tunnel may be described as relatively slow or extremely fast may accelerate in the tunnel. Occasionally another being(s) accompany this tunnel passage, though usually it is traveled alone. A bright light is usually seen at the end of the tunnel, and seems to be the destination of the travel through the tunnel. A tunnel experience is described by 54% of NDE-rs surveyed.

8. Encounter with a bright light.
The light may be without form, or is often perceived as a being, either a spiritual being or a departed loved one. There is usually, associated and intense feelings of love, joy, or peace associated with this encounter. The light may be seen at a distance, or entered during the experience. A light was seen by 69% of NDE-rs surveyed.

9. Meeting others.
The experience-r may encounter other spiritual beings or departed loved ones. Deceased pets have been encountered as well as other animals (most often birds or butterflies). The encounter with others is generally described as joyous and loving. Other beings were seen by 74% of NDE-rs surveyed.

10. Life review.
At times, experience-rs are presented with a rapid panoramic review of their lives. This life review may include brief reviews of moments of their past life, or may be extremely detailed, with a presentation of how the experience-rs actions affected others around them. At times, the experience-r will actually see and feel their actions from another persons perspective, and actually feel what the other person felt. Some have received previously unknown information about ones life, i.e. adoption, hidden parentage or deceased siblings. A life review occurred in 35% of NDE-rs surveyed.

11. Seeing or visiting beautiful locations.
Some experience travel to beautiful cities, libraries, gardens, pastoral scenes and shiny bodies of water.

12. A sense of knowing universal order and purpose.
Some experience a sense of deep understanding of the universe and/or life's meaning and purpose. Many NDE-rs state they were shown enormous knowledge, but could not return with it. Others return with their understandings. In describing universal order and purpose, by far the most common concept discussed is “love”. A sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose occurred in 62% of NDE-rs surveyed.

13. Reaching a boundary.
The boundary may be a gate, cliff, fence, water, or some other barrier which the experience-r perceives may not be crossed if they are to return to the body. A boundary was encountered in 44% of NDE-rs surveyed.

14. Awareness of future life events.
Some experience "flash-forwards" in time to witness themselves and events at a future time. Such visions may involve the experience-rs future life, or may be more global. Such global visions are often apocalyptic. NDE “prophesy” has led to considerable discussion and debate. The researchers impression is that such prophesies are not inevitable, and are subject to change by the choices we make. Awareness of future events is described by 44% of NDE-rs surveyed.

15. Decision to return.
The decision to return to the physical body may be voluntary or involuntary. If voluntary, the decision to return is often made following discussion with spiritual beings and is often associated with unfinished life lessons or responsibilities. Whether voluntary or involuntary, feelings of sadness, loss, depression and anxiety may follow return to this life. Involvement in a decision regarding return to the body occurred in 62% of NDE-rs surveyed.

16. Returning to the body.
Often (but not always) feelings of pain associated with the life threatening injury return.

17. Special gifts.
Some experience-rs report psychic or other paranormal abilities after an NDE. Commonly described is a marked increase in intuitive ability. Another common phenomena is “electrical sensitivity” where NDE-rs discover their watches stop and nearby electrical devices (often lights) go out. There has never been a good large-scale scientific study of these phenomena. When researchers asked NDE-rs “Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?,” 54% answered yes.

18. Changes of attitudes and beliefs.
A belief in God, loss of fear of death and a more loving interaction with others often follow an NDE. Virtually all NDE-rs have no fear of death. Some NDE experience-rs establish more loving relationships. Other NDE experience-rs find their change in attitudes and beliefs may alter previously established interpersonal relationship dynamics resulting in conflict with loved ones, family and friends. Dr Pim Van Lommel's scientific studies on near-death experiences and consciousness:
Van Lommel is best known for his scientific work on the subjects of near-death experiences and consciousness, including a prospective study published in the medical journal The Lancet. He is also the author of the 2007 Dutch book titled Endless Consciousness: A scientific approach to the near-death experience (Eindeloos Bewustzijn: een wetenschappelijke visie op de Bijna-Dood Ervaring), which has been translated to German, English, French and Spanish (English translation: Consciousness Beyond Life, The Science of the Near-Death Experience", Harper Collins, 2010). In his book Consciousness Beyond Life: The Science of the Near-Death Experience, he postulates a model where consciousness is beyond neurological activities of the brain. He suggests that the brain is merely a terminal for accessing consciousness which is nonlocal (i.e. situated outside the physical body). In this model the brain is analogous to a computer terminal accessing a mainframe or the internet. He further hypothesizes that noncoding DNA and quantum mechanics would make such nonlocal access possible and this model can explain how near-death experiences can be experienced and remembered by people whose brain had no measurable activity.[2] Van Lommel studied medicine at Utrecht University, specializing in cardiology. "To this day, the Hebrew Bible, or Old Testament, is a sacred text for more than three billion people throughout the world," said Gary Glassman, the program's writer, producer, and director. "The film's international team of archeologists and scholars researches biblical texts and examines artifacts and ancient manuscripts to illuminate how the concept of one God emerged to later form the foundation of the three great monotheistic religions."

The film's investigation of biblical archeology reveals provocative new insights. One vital clue to the past is an inscription discovered at Tel Dan in Israel that refers to the "House of David"—the first text outside the Bible to confirm that King David actually existed. Another important find is a carved Hebrew alphabet—in fact, the earliest complete Hebrew alphabet—at Tel Zayit, an excavation site southwest of Jerusalem. This alphabet suggests the existence of a literate royal court at the time of David and Solomon, the 10th century B.C., raising the possibility that scribes could have written portions of the Hebrew Bible at that time. Perhaps most extraordinary, the discovery of pagan idols at dozens of archeological sites throughout biblical Israel challenges old assumptions about the rise of monotheism. The idols prove that some ancient Israelites continued to practice polytheism until the time of the Babylonian Exile around 586 B.C., centuries later than previously thought.

Filmed on location throughout the Middle East, the film transports viewers into the world of the Old Testament through guided explorations of ancient ruins and advanced digital animation techniques, which bring sacred places, including the long-lost Temple of Solomon, to life. As part of the project, NOVA commissioned a hand-crafted, illustrated Bible—a bound collection of artwork featuring images of ancient frescoes, illuminated medieval manuscripts, and paintings by European masters. These striking visuals evoke memorable scenes from biblical literature, such as God speaking to Moses from the burning bush and David as he slays the giant Philistine warrior, Goliath.

Boris Karloff was arguably one of the best horror actors of his time, and a great story teller as well. All of the stories are told in a matter-of-fact, easy-to-understand, yet chilling manner, with which Mr. Karloff is famous for. Many of the stories start with a question in the first few sentences, which invite the listener to suspend disbelief, and become involved...totally involved...in the stories given.

These recordings are considered by many collectors to be among the best ghost story albums from this time. Karloff does a masterful job of narrating, creating an eery atmosphere that few others could match. He has a reassuring, grandfatherly quality, but manages to come across as foreboding at the same time. These stories aren't designed to scare the living hell out of you, opting more for the "Twilight Zone" or "Outer Limits" approach.

None of these stories are disappointing. All will give you thrills and chills...and perhaps a bad dream or two. I wish more of them had happy endings...but they all do make you think.

Expanding one's consciousness by reading of things most probably undreamed of by most people, is the "raison d'etre" for most ghost stories, as far as I'm concerned. And there is most truly, much "food for thought", in all the stories told...

A good horror story, well-told, leaving the listener and their imagination to fill in the details. No excess blood. No excess gore. Just a story that allows a person to think on good, and on evil, and why there is a difference, and what that difference is...

There is actually a lengthy tale behind how these recordings came to be, but I'll do my best to summarize the story for you. Apparently sometime in the late '50s/early '60s there was a syndicated radio feature titled "The Frightened", which didn't really get off the ground. No one seems to know exactly how many episodes of this series were broadcast, and none of the original recordings exist. The radio viginettes were written by Michael Avallone and read by Boris Karloff. A magazine of the same name served as a tie-in, with each issue containing one of the viginettes

This was a collection released in two albums (vols 1& 2) in 1963 by Mercury Records and was a companion to the book entitled "Boris Karloff Presents Tales of the Frightened". The book was written by Michael Avallone (1924-1999) a prolific writer of thrillers, detective stories, TV and Movie tie-in books (which were needed before DVD).

So sit back, relax and enjoy these wonderful stories by one of the great horror masters of all time...and ponder this question..."Are You One Of The Frightened?"....
