The false identity, egoic mind, aka negative ego in some spiritual circles views itself as separate from the Divine/God/Source as well as other people and life itself. It also perceive and locks into the “competition” battle and engages in the worldview that life is “a battle to survive at all costs.”

It sees itself as better than everyone around, or jumps into the self-pity of victim-hood “life is always against me” belief.  It may even keep you confined, locked up and tangled in the known and past far longer than necessary creating more suffering in the long-term. The false identity draws its energy from lack of love,  skewed perceptions, illusions, greed, powerlessness, overly controlling, rage, bitterness, victim-hood, wounds, revenge, corruption, addiction and abuse or violations.  Given free reign you will be demolished when the physical body dies, you no longer exist. This is life in the trance of the conditioned egoic mind.

As Soul/Consciousness you view life and self from a very different state and yet incredibly expanded space. The Truth is you are not separate from God/Divine/Source. In fact, you are One with all of it, so very connected. You are a Child of the Universe and the Universe as well as the Cosmos wants to bring you the highest and best in creation. It is a life-giving reality, one that is abundant on all levels and full of love. As Consciousness you know you have chosen to take on a human form for experiences and the next journey in evolution. You realize from this expanded state of Consciousness as Soul there are many levels and sub-levels of evolution and mastery. Planetary, Solar, Galactic, Universal, Multi-Universal, and Cosmic level of realities back to Source. You are drawn back to remembering the Universal Truth of Oneness and even if you can’t grasp this it is embedded within your natural design as Soul, it is encoded within the human body. From the enlightened perspective, your true nature is love, immortal, eternal neither have ever been born, nor will die. This is the real you, as Consciousness.

The ego and mind are both necessary part of the human form. Some feel it must be annihilated, squashed, repressed or rejected. This is not accurate and can be detrimental to a person’s spiritual growth. We need the mind for day-to-day functions as we need the ego within human form so that Soul expresses through it. It must become a clear window for higher state of Consciousness to flow through freely. For the ego and mind work on the optimal levels, it must be aligned under/with Soul, Consciousness.   As this real and natural alignment happens you shift from egoic perspective of reality dictating your choices to enlightened state of reality – Soul guiding your choices in life. Working directly with Spiritual Enlightenment Transmission Energy ensures this happens if not now, then it is only a matter of time. This spiritual energy of Grace in action helps gently and intensely helps one to accelerate their spiritual evolution. People often ask me what my name means. Dipali. Well it is not a common name that’s for sure. My physical birth occurred right near the Festival of Lights known as Diwali in India, I was named after this auspicious time and celebration of light. This year Diwali is on October 17th/18th, 2009 right on the New Moon in Libra. Incredible. I’m looking forward to the blessings that will unfold for all of us. In addition there is gorgeous astrological energies which offer a nice grace-filled support to this time. Inspiration is everywhere. Draw in and be the love that you are. Express your true nature.

My name means “Row of Lamps” in  Sanskrit language or “light” to keep it simple.  In addition to that, I found this blurb on the internet; `Deepali or Dipali` is someone who brings love, joy, happiness into ones life.  For a young chick, this is a tall order, to live up to the name and its meaning.

And yet as I grew up and matured, I felt a deep resonance with the name, the festival of lights and its profound meaning. You can say it inspires me to keep bringing or expressing light in the midst of darkness or ignorance. Enlightening those who are ready to free themselves from the chains of conditioning.

Diwali is a wonderful celebration and was not celebrated in a strict religious fashion growing up. I was so blessed that I was able to draw out the richness and modify the holy day to mesh both the eastern and western ways. It is wonderful to be able to create a new and modern way to honor the meaning of the Festival.  Diwali is a time to honor the Light or Consciousness overcoming darkness and ignorance. And a return of hope for humankind.

In my home growing up,  we celebrate this time by putting candles or lights all around the home, creating Rangoli ( hand painted sand or colored powder designs), fasting, making handmade sweets and snacks, spending quality time with loved ones as well as dancing which is called “Navaratri” literally means “nine nights” and more. Navaratri is a time in which the Divine Mother in her various forms is honored; Durga (Goddess of Courage and Strength), Saraswati(Goddess of Wisdom and Learning), Lakshmi (Goddess of Prosperity and Beauty), and Shakti (Goddess of Energy or Power).

In a way Christmas lights began really early for me each year. We got to enjoy the twinkling candles and lights as early as October through end of December each year. There is an exchange of gifts, yet from way back in my own journey and recollection, Diwali Celebration was so much more than giving of gifts, money or physical items. It was a greater gift to laugh, enjoy delicious food and spend quality time with loved ones. A very colorful, spiritually rich experiences ones you can’t buy in a store. This to me is the true light or gift of Diwali. That’s a bit about Diwali, Dipali and Festival of Lights. Hope you have enjoyed this post.

The Festival of Lights are celebrated in such unique ways all around the world from: India, France, Sweden, Thailand, Philippines, Africa, Egypt, Holland, and Mexico and so many more. It would be amazing if young children were educated and supported to celebrate the diversity of the  festivals around the globe. Some schools do, while in the mainstream not so much. There could be a greater sense of unity while honoring diversity. I’ve seen people who have had the freedom to know about and celebrate other festivals, being more tolerant of other cultures traditions. They begin to see the common thread that unites rather than what separates. There are those that don’t even realize there are other “festival of lights” around the world – they just know about Christmas or Hanukkah. We can educate children that there is diversity without conditioning them to create separation from others who are different. Adults and children would benefit and get a sample of being in the shoes of a fellow brother or sister from another country, culture or tradition and how they honor the festival of lights.

It is my hope that more individuals (including children) wake up to the richness of the Festival of Lights around the world. Imagine how it could be one big festive party which brings people together and honors people from all walks of life. Let the joy and innocence flow out and gently awaken hearts. Let us all deeply enjoy the celebrations happening all around the globe.

I’ve been sensing the vibes to remodel something. But what?! As I contemplated and reflected. I got the answer through a surge of creative energy cheering me on. Just do it. Act. Experiment. … so I’ve updated the “Ask Dipali ” section of this blog into “Ask Dipali ~ Audiocast.”

I’ve added what’s called an “Audiocast.” When you submit your question here, I will share with you Intuitive guidance through an audio/listening format. That’s right you can hear and listen to the response on the Audio Player here on the Blog. You can also replay it as there will be an archive. I hope you are eager and excited as I am about this feature.  It will be wonderful to share mini guidance on various Life Topics.  I feel this is a great addition to this blog and will add more energy and fuel to it overall.  An audiocast is  a nice way of hearing Guidance instead of just reading the words.

I just finished making this podcast (audio meditation/file)on the Autumn Equinox. It is hot off the audio-press. Listening to this podcast may be a nice way to tune into the energy or simply listen to the themes.

Lately I’ve been feeling and seeing life pregnant with possibilities. Not that this happens once in a while. Life is constantly fertile, yet it has its seasons and there are cycles as Nature shows us. But right now it is as if life is brimming with creative energy and is ready to give birth to new things, energies and such. Everywhere there is a hum of energy. Vibrating, buzzing, swirling around within the Womb of Creation.

And over the last few days everywhere I look, I see a woman with a very large pregnant belly. This is the manifested symbolism. If we look beyond the clouds of worries, anxieties, what if’s and fears we can see the magic silently and majestically waiting. The curtain will part and we will begin to see fruits of our labor being born into the physical world. For some, they are already experiencing little bursts of breakthroughs after long period of gestation and what the mind labels “delay.”

Looking with a new perspective, everything manifests in its own season and timing. The egoic mind does not comprehend Divine Timing does not work to its expectations and nor does it adhere to linear time frame 1-10 type of thing. This createsa feeling impatience, worry and frustration. Yet – if you accept that Divine Timing will bring far brighter and better things than if you rushed something into manifestation. All is well. You restore the inner peace that you are. You learn to accept that being in the Flow of Life will bring you to where you need to be. From moment to moment.

The Universe wishes the best for us believe or not. Sometimes it is our egoic mind that stands in the way. Let go. Be Free. Look around with wonder at how Life is pregnant with new creative energy and soon to be birthing or breakthroughs that will be inspiring and joyful.
