DDUCMUN 2011 is being organized by The Model UN Club, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi, organized in collaboration with the UN Information Centre for India and Bhutan



DDUC MUN will be a Two-Day conference international and will be held on the 4th and 5th of August,2011. It will be open to Grade 12 School students and Undergraduate college students.

Model UN :Model United Nations (also Model UN or MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda. During a conference, participants must employ a variety of communication and critical thinking skills in order to represent the policies of their country. These skills include public speaking, group communication, research, policy analysis, active listening, negotiating, conflict resolution, note taking, and technical writing.



Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) :Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, and is fully funded by Government of NCT of Delhi. It was established in August 1990 in memory of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, a renowned philosopher, thinker and social worker. The co-educational institution is located at Shivaji Marg, Karampura, New Delhi. The college offers over 16 courses and has a total of 1800 students.



University of Delhi : The University of Delhi is the premier university of the country and is known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty.
