It seems that most girls become addicted with these movies. It's based from Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. I don't know whether they really are interesting as I never watch the movie, neither did read the novels.

But I love fiction novels. I like vampires (not really vampires, but any movies/novels/drama/anime/whatever related to them). Robert Pattinson is cute. So I'll guess I'll add this to my watch and read list.

Nah, not really.

Apparently, water level had decreased in certain areas and one road was no longer flooded.

Actually the only reason I was so agitated to go to school today was this :

Form 1 English Paper 1 Final Exam question papers (that was a long name~~~)

I took them home so I can arranged and clipped them for this Tuesday exam. Unfortunately, I didn't expect something like this to happen. So I need to go to school to deliver the papers.

Water Water Water

People used to complain how hot and dry the weather nowdays. Now, it's raining. Non stop. Now people start to complain of too much rain and flood.

All our way out from the village start being flooded and I wonder whether I can do to work tomorrow. Some people already being evacuated. Actually I was on duty to take students for an event at A.S. (will update on that later - if I am still connected that is) and while I was there, mak called and said water level start rising on most areas. So I leave early and return home.

It was okay when I left this morning and only one road was flooded. When I came back, all three roads were flooded. One still can drive through but it already look alarming as the water level rise to Kuro's rims.

It still raining now so I guess I'll need an approval for a leave tomorrow. After all, Kuro can't swim.

I always wonder where the term come from as ants are well known for being diligent too. But it must be weird to say "busy as an ant"...

Not rhyming well~~~

Okay, end of that. Let's go straight to the point. As you probably know, this is November. It's the end of the year and mean near the end of schooling for this year as well.

In other words, we're loaded with extra work.

My already occupied and full table is now has something more on it (it still amazes me on how strong that table can be~~~) In addition of books that need final checking and marking, there's exam papers, oral test forms, NILAM forms (I am a Nilam teacher~~~) and reports to write. How I love it!

This kind of thing is natural when the year is ending (who said teachers have easy work and life?)

Too bad I don't have my camera, if not you'll see how wonderful things right now. Syahira's on a trip to Putrajaya so she wanted to use it so badly. I have no choice but to let her borrow it.

I'll have to work hard and complete them all before the school holiday.

Reaching 27 Years of Being Alive

Today, I am officially 27 years old.

Since I am not good at sappy words and moments, just skip this part.

Also thanks for the wish from real people (pizet, syuhada, nizaa, jal, k.ti, my colleagues - syah, husna and diana - i doubt they read this :p, mak who kept wishing me since yesterday, mak ndak) and sites that I joined online (Barn Buddy, American Consumer, Netlog and more)

I just have three more years to reach the age of 30 and mak start nagging (it's one of the mindset thing, it's better to marry young and divorce than not marrying at all - no offense~~~)

I still don't have permanent job but at least I do have a job (until the end of this year)

May this mark a beginning of another year full of luck and happy moments (sappy enough :p?)

Money Matters

As been told to Pizet and Syuhada (and a few others but they don't blog :p)

When I bought Kuro, the salesman a.k.a. agent asked me to added another RM500 to the deposit amount and promised that I'll received it back (the total deposit was RM3000) as there was a promotion at that time. I was damn thrilled and obliged.

I waited for more than a year and finally persuaded that agent over this matter. He said he'll bank in the money. Okay, so I waited again.

He bank in RM350 yesterday. I supposed to receive RM500, not RM350. It made me curious and asked the real deal.

He said that the promotion wasn't valid for Kuro as we bought it later than the date. He blamed the dealer for late in delivering the car. In other word, there's no money for me. So he said that he gave me the money as he did promised I'll received it back. His remark after that was like I was desperate for the money (of course I am, duh! RM500!!!)

I was pissed. But to whom? Perodua? The agent? I don't like the fact that I am taking his money and begging for it so I talked to a few person, including those two above. Of course they supported me to keep it and ask for the rest. Their reason was, I supposed to receive it.

The best remark was from a colleague, Miss H, "In term of business, once promised it's up to that person to hold the loss and profit from it. As you was supposed to receive that amount, you should, regardless whether he was cheated by the dealer or not. That problem wasn't yours to hold."

-I changed it a bit as translation process make some meaning lost in the process :p

In other word, I'll keep the money. I should also be asking for the rest.

Day 4 : LCCT -> AOR -> School

Around 3 a.m., I woke up and found syuhada's getting ready to send me to LCCT-KLIA. So early?

Ah well, it's 4 a.m. when we left the house.

We were lost on our way there and found ourselves at the entrance of KLIA. I never been there! (not directly~~~) I was too thrilled to realize we might be late for my check in.

Alas, we did made it anyway.

After the check in, we went for a quick breakfast at the Taste of Asia (again~~~) and prayed. Then I bid Syuhada's farewell before proceeding into the Departure Gate.

There's around 10 planes leaving that day, almost at the same time and there was confusion. I bet some passengers boarded a wrong plane as a few attendants more here and there to check the boarding pass.

I was lucky to be seated by the window again. Actually, a man switched with me (again~~~) as I already seated there to look at outside. Well, he only slept the whole journey, there's nothing wrong with switching?

After arriving at AOR Airport, pizet and the whole family already waiting with Kuro. I just realized how tired I was. Still I drove back and went to school to work.

It was a worse day as I was so sleepy, I felt like my patience was thinning over small matters and I longingly wish for a bed.

Still, I survived!

Hopefully I'll be able to step to KK again someday. There's a lot of place that I wished I can go but never had a chance to like :

Day 3 : Last Day, It's Time To Get Wet and Be Broke

Around 10.00 a.m., Jal and Yusof arrived, without warning again. After making sure we didn't leave anything, we proceed to the front counter to check out.

We went for breakfast at Grace Point. Cool place, except it's pretty stranded during the day. I tried Tuaran Fried Mee. Tasted like Fried Yee Mee.

Then Jal needed to send some food to his mom. She worked at Wisma Kewangan. We was told there's a monument of Tunku Abdul Rahman in front and it's pretty famous among the tourist. She took us there and we started shooting~~~ err...taking pictures~~~~

After that, we went to the Handicraft Market. I didn't want to shop yet and Syuhada wanted to withdraw money so we walked to a shopping complex. The ATM there was being repaired so we need to find the closest one in Plaza Wawasan, which around 1 - 2 km away (so close~~~)

From here, we walked to the KK Esplanade. Some part of the place was still under construction.

We walked back to the Handicraft Market. On the way back, an uncle at a jetty nearby approached us and offered island hopping around Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park for certain cost. I let Jal did the talking and he agreed for some sum and certain islands. We won't visit all the islands but it's fine by me. I was already thrilled.

Started the journey. Actually we're pretty scared. At least I did. I can't swim and it's my first time on a boat. So, life jacket, so we can be safe (in Dora The Explorer tone)

We went to four islands and go down on two of it (the other two were only to be viewed from the boat~~~)

I was wearing heels as we didn't plan for this trip. It's a really bad choice. It's hard to walk on the sand, jetty or to board the boat.

I became barefoot halfway.

Then the annoyed me bought slippers at Manukan Island to make my life easier.

Then once we got to the dry land, we finally went to Handicraft Market. On my personal opinion, the stalls inside the market were clone as most stalls were selling similar stuff, the only different was the price to offer.

We went to Centerpoint as Jal needed to buy something and straight to the airport after that. After the check-in process, we went to eat at a restaurant in the terminal. Guess what, I was still wearing the slippers from Manukan.

More luggage than two days before.

After saying goodbye to our tour guides, we proceed to the Departure Gate. In the flight, I can't help to be hungry again. It's a long journey with no entertainment. I had to do something.

We arrived around 12.00 a.m. at LCCT-KLIA and planned to spend the night there. I need to check in for a flight back to AOR Airport at 5.00 a.m. Unfortunately the surau was locked and we still didn't pray. So we decided to travel back to Kota Damansara via taxi.

Day 2 : Dinner @ Tanjung Aru

When Jal, one of our tour guide for the third day called saying that he'll treat us for dinner at Tanjung Aru, my spontaneous reaction was, "I will eating at the beach!"

Excited. Excited. Excited music filled the air.

Not.*O.o excited music instantly died~~~*

He only going to take us to an area in Tanjung Aru, but not the beach T_T

Well, a free dinner was still something to be excited with.

So, around 7.00 p.m., he arrived and just sms us to go down, without a warning. So we deliberately let him waited :p

Jal and a friend, Yusof took us to a shopping complex. The food court was at the back of the shopping complex and it did make me wonder why did he parked so far away~~~

After choosing what to eat, we found a table to sit down and I tried to take pictures of our tour guide. He was poyo and dodged everytime.

Meals arrived around half an hour later. We ordered tomyam as well as I wanted to taste Sabah version of tomyam. No comment for the taste though. I wasn't there to comment on the usual meal anyway.

Total cost : RM98. Syuhada said it's pretty expensive.

They took us for a little sightseeing of the town area after that before sending us back to the hotel. It only 9.00 p.m. but I already felt like it's midnight.

So we returned to rest before the last day in Sabah.

Day 2 : Lok Kawi Wildlife Park

From Monsopiad Cultural Village, it took around 15 minutes to reach Lok Kawi Wildlife Park (depending on your vehicle speed and your driver's skill~~~)

The area was pretty large, around 1.5 km or something. Due to renovation, some parts of the park were close. By the time we arrived, it was 1.30 p.m. There's a train that could take us around the park but it will move at 2.00 p.m.

We choose walking.

Perky and high-spirited to start the journey.

There's a botanical garden. We did went inside but only to the outskirt of it. There's stairs to climb, I'll passed on that.

A bird aviary was build inside and placed lots of bird. We meet a bird that can mimic what we said.

Before we left, we heard it said "meow" Seriously, it did.

After walking for nearly two hours, I just realized how hungry we were. Since we had visited each places, we agreed to stop to eat. There's a cafe inside the park. I wasn't familiar with local cuisine so I asked what's on the menu. The cook said they had bihun goreng. I was like, "like in penisular, why not~~~"

Not.

This was the bihun goreng. Definitely different.

After the meal, we walked back to the exit and waited for the shuttle to arrive. I wonder how many kilos we lost today?

Day 2 : Cultural Visit To Monsopiad Cultural Village

Syuhada wanted to see skull so we pre-book Monsopiad Cultural Village via online booking provided by the village itself (more like call them). They offered shuttle service+entrance fee for RM80 per person. It's pretty cheap and make things easier. I don't have to think about transportation issue and the village was not on the main route. It might be hard to hail a taxi.

So after breakfast, we waited for the van to arrive (that shuttle service was a van) The girl said she'll show up around 9.30 a.m. to pick us up, and she did! Off note : she had an amazing driving style. Wow~~~ She could join the F1 team!

We picked a couple along the way and off to the village. The tour guide was really friendly and she explained a lot about Sabah's tradition, festival and interesting spots. I highly recommended her!

Around half an hour later, we arrived at the village. We were required to register, paid for the tour and brought to the cafe for the welcome drink.

Then, we meet the ~~cute~~ tour guide for the village. He explained about the origin of the village, the warrior Monsopiad, a huge rock with spirit that was brought from Philippines and then, the awaited moment, we went to visit the House of Skulls.

Before entering, we were required to read this sentence. It's sort of greeting to the elderly and request to enter the house.

Monsopiad was a warrior and he beheaded 42 skulls of the enemies. The skulls aged around 300 years old and some already cracked.

Then we were taken to see Tangkob. It's a way to collect, stock and prepare the rice to be eaten. Actually the whole stuff confused me so I tried to understand it in my own way. There's also a display on how to prepare rice wine.

Our next stop was a house with traditional games. I tried sumpit for the first time and got a deer! (or was it a mousedeer~~~)

It was something to brag about especially when everyone else missed their mark ^o^

Our next stop was the cultural show. The dancers will perform 4 times a day. To be honest, I was amazed at their work ethics. There's only 4 of us but the show still go on *clap*clap*

There was three type of dance based on three different tribes. Before the last dance, a warrior come out.

He shot two balloons and suddenly, he jumped down from the stage. He was so serious that I wonder how I would react if I looked directly at his face (I am pretty unpredictable~~~) He circled around us and kidnapped Syuhada!!!

I was surprised that I forgot to take a pic. The funny thing was, before he did that he gave me Syuhada's camera to take the pictures :p

Apparently he wanted Syuhada to shoot a balloon down. After numerous try, she succeed.

But that warrior wore that serious expression to the end.

After the cultural show, we were told to cross the Suspension Bridge.

Actually I was pretty scared. I couldn't even look down. Too high for me~~~

But still can pose right?

We returned to the cafe after that. The tour guide had a chat with the four of us and explained about how to get here and there. Apparently Lok Kawi Wildlife Park was near the area. So after a little negotiation, the four of us decided to go there. We chartered the Monsopiad ~~van~~ shuttle for a very cheap price to take us there and send us back to the town center.

Day 1 : To Sabah!!!

We woke up early as the taxi would arrived at 7.30 am. All the stuff that can be squeeze into my luggage had been squeezed last night. Luckily we did. The taxi arrived 15 minutes early. We had to rush down as there's possibility he might charge us more for keeping him waiting.

We arrived at the Departure Hall and check our check in counter. It's not open yet and we're hungry. We didn't have time for a proper breakfast at home so Syuhada said we can eat at Taste of Asia.

Nasi Lemak (plain ): Rm6.50 and Bihun goreng : RM9.90

Finally it's time to check in. We went through the Departure Gate after that. It's quite boring to wait.

Finally, time to fly. Actually there's two flights with nearly the same name and going to the same destination. The different was the other had left. Still, it cause confusion.

It's around 2 hours flight and no entertainment. Earlier when we booked, both of us agreed not to pre-book the meal. We were like, "It's a short journey, it's not we're going to get hungry." Really. Not a very wise decision. Of course it's only two hours but we got nothing to do.

A guy next to me ordered sausage and give me a bit of it. I think he didn't feel uneasy to eat and I kept staring for his reaction for the food. He even treat me for hot milo.

Thank you for the food. For RM7, it's not really up to the cost. Perhaps due to the fact we ate it on a giant metal bird that soared miles above sea level, it had to cost like that.

After arriving at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, we had to make a visa in a form of paper slip. We had to keep that piece of paper and return it once we decided to leave. It would valid up to 3 months.

We boarded a taxi to the hotel. It's only RM15 fare and I must say, it's pretty cheap.

View from inside our room. No hose next to the toilet. Not really a good choice. The even forgot to put in our hairdryer. But apart from that, it's quite comfortable.

After checking this and that, we spread the maps and brochures and started our mission to find a spot to visit for the day and numbers to keep for contacts. Syuhada took almost all brochures provided at the airport.

We decided to check the Sabah Museum. We walked to Center Point and chartered a taxi. Actually the driver was nice but he was a bit annoying. He did wait so we can rode back to the town center after that but he's muttering this and that.

No camera allowed in the museum. Too bad. It did had a lot to share. Ah well~~~

The museum was next to the Art Gallery, Heritage Village and Heritage Walk. We only visited the museum. We don't have time for the gallery, the village was closed and it cost RM100 for the walk (with tour)

After arriving at the town center, we decided to walk. The waterfront was closed since there's a construction on progress. We were lost yet we found Esplanade and Wet Market.

Guess what, we also found the famous Handicraft Market. We decided to shop for souvenirs before leaving KK so we're off to eat seafood.

It's very cheap. Only RM5 for the fish. But we was cheated though. That aunt said the total was RM28 including mineral water. But the mineral water was Syuhada's so she said the new cost was RM23. wtf! RM5 for mineral water! Later on we found out it only cost RM1 for mineral water. So someone must try to take advantage of tourist.

We quickly returned the hotel after that as it's getting dark. Guess what? It's only 5.30 pm. We forgot that time move at different phase there.

The hotel only provided as with Star World, ESPN, dunno-the-channel-name and hazy TV3, TV2 and TV1. It's boring so we decided to walk to the GSC that situated in front of the hotel. We watched Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. It's a spooky experience though. Not the movie but the cinema itself.

There's only four of us in the huge cinema and considering time move at a different phase there, I think we watched the show for midnight.

We went straight back to the hotel and sleep after that.

Leaving To Sabah

Packing is something I hate the most whenever I need to travel. But if I don't begin, how will I get it done.

So start packing.

Syuhada said she wanted to put some stuff in mine so I better leave some space for her.

I arrived early for the departure from AOR (Alor Setar Airport) I booked Firefly. Stupidly, I went into Departure Gate too early. I had nothing to do and it's an hour before my boarding time.

Finally it's time to fly (sound weird) Firefly's plane was a small carrier with only four seats per row (2-2) I don't take a picture of the plane so don't bother asking. It's around an hour journey and we got free snack. Cool~~~

Arrived at the Subang Airport. To be honest, I didn't recognized my own luggage. I waited until everyone took theirs and confirmed that that's mine that left behind. Gosh. I need to put a mark on that luggage. I was the last one to left the Arrival Hall.

Waiting for Syuhada to arrived. This was what they called The Skypark, I think.

About 15 minutes later, syuhada arrived. Apparently my phone was dead so she couldn't contact me. Stupid battery life. I borrowed one of her phone.

We'll start the journey early tomorrow.

Adding Animation To Your Post

As you noticed, uploading image using Add Image provided can only put on still image, image that doesn't move. Sometimes you want to add a little animation to your post. This can be done by uploading it to any image hosting site.

I have two recommendation: imageshack and photobucket.

Imageshack.us

Imageshack doesn't require registration, though it's adviseable to have one.

To start:

1 - Click Browse and choose the image.

2 - Fill in your email address. It is optional to register or not, but it is better to register. Once you have an account there, it's easy to maintain your images. You might need to delete it one day.

3 - Leave the checkbox buttons. Check them if you need to. I don't find the need to do it.

4 - Click Start upload.

Your image has been uploaded and ready to use. Just copy the code from Sites and paste it in your blog.

My CRT is dead. I'll be writing an obituary about it when I return. I already married to a LCD.

As you already know, I'll be leaving for a short vacation at Sabah.

By time you're reading this, I already boarded a flight to Subang.

BTW, since I'll be gone for a couple of days:

1 - Bloggy will go autopublish. I'll be publishing s****d posts on things that you already know and some meaningless stuff. Just bear with it :p

Yesterday I made a visit to the vet for the cats' injection and pills.

The place was packed. So I made an illegal parking. S****d move. As a result, I underestimated the range from the front of Kuro to brick of the divider at the drain.

Really.

As a result, Kuro was scarred.

See.

It's a scratch but it doesn't change the fact I made a s****d move.

Since I received the invite, I had to attend it. Actually it's because I paid the fee.

It said that it started at 12.30 pm.

Not.

It started later than that.

So you can see hungry people ~~waiting to strike~~ patiently waiting while principal made a speech.

Addicted to Numb3rs

It seems that I am addicted to Numb3rs lately. I found a site that provide streaming videos for it so I spend my times waiting for the video to buffer. Worse, some video is on Megavideo. After 72 minutes, I have to wait before I can watch another episode.

Why I watch it?

1 - I love crime dramas (take CSI for example)

2 - Prof. Charles Epps is too amazing. I don't understand a thing he said. Then again, I am sux at Mathematics. Here's an explanation made by him.
